If you're showing me this because you're wondering if it might mean some kind of scary agenda in Hollywood - nah, it doesn't. High profile artists are aware of pop mysticism, conspiracy theory lore, and popular science fiction tropes in the same way everyone else is, and they often incorporate it into their art.

If you pay attention to the lyrics and imagery here, it's obviously a metaphor for feeling alone - shall we even say, alienated - and finding companionship/your "other half."

Also Iniko is a queer artist, and it ain't exactly deep or mysterious when queer folks are drawn to sci-fi and fantasy tropes; aliens and fantasy creatures make excellent metaphors for the way we feel othered by society.

UPDATE #2: WE'RE BACK, BABY! Now with an EXTENDED edition! And we finally solved the audio issue. Turns out the filter had a problem with our edit, not the song itself (we'd cut part of the second verse, which was getting it flagged as modifying the OG song). 12 more seconds of glorious evolution!
