Sonic: literally the first five things that catch his attention and make him go :) a cool looking rock, Tails at his workbench, clouds in the sky, a nest of flickys, and a selfie, of course. they are all blurry and out of focus, especially the selfie since he took it while running. In five minutes he's used up all of the film and he keeps the photos forever

Tails: all of his are very well thought out and planned - he is very aware that he only has five films. each must be Perfect. so far he's only taken two: one of the tornado that took him an hour to set up - he had to find the perfect place and line it up correctly and then wait for the Golden Hour for the perfect lightning, nothing but the best for his baby - and one of him and sonic after a particularly hard battle against eggman. they are both doing victory poses on the top of a giant robot head. tails had to set the camera on a timer and sonic had to run them into position

Amy: her with her friends!!! she saves them for really special moments, times when her heart is about to burst with the love she has for them!! with tails having a movie night, with knuckles she visited angel island for a sparring session and to swap recipes, with cream and sonic having a tea party, her and sonic after catching up in a cafe to gossip, with sticks - both covered in mud and motor oil and debris - and with sonic, tails, and knuckles sitting around a campfire

Knuckles: chao from angel island. he originally planned on taking photos of the most Special places but he made the mistake of going to the chao garden first, and he just couldn't stop once he started. they were all basking in the attention

Hi, if you’re still doing Doctor Who fanfics, I was wondering if you could please write a silly little 11th Doctor x Platonic!TimeLord reader where they are best friends and have a relationship dynamic like Joey and Frankie from the Basement Yard Podcast.

Like they’re in a dangerous scenario and one of them makes a joke and they both just start laughing. Or when they’re on the TARDIS they’ll be arguing and then one of them says something that reminds them of a song and they both just start singing it. And they use insults and a term of endearment.

I think this would be really fun and silly, but no worries if you don’t want to.

"With the subordination of these meek-little farmers, soon the entire galaxy will know my name! BLAZER THE WRATHFUL!!!" the pirates soon uproared in celebration, but soon a loud laugh overcame that.

BBU community days, day 1!

sooo… gotta be honest, not much has happened on this blog since the last community days event (you’re great, sara!). my name is amie and i’m a twenty something uni student who likes to hurt blorbos on the side. around this time last year i was super busy with my bachelor and this semester has been 4x more work than normal (i’ll just say right now that most of what these community days entail i will probably put out late).

around 12 months ago i put my rotten soldier, my sweet cheese joey in the hospital and he’s been there ever since. but! when the worst of this thing they call education is over, i have many, many ideas that i can’t wait to develop and write. joey is my absolute favourite little man who i like to put in situations and make him cry. aaron is joey’s favourite big man and there’s also marla and an unnamed guard dog who dips in and out of this blog.

my favourite trope is pet whump and my favourite sub-trope is platonic co-sleeping (<3). nothing makes me happier than a sleepy lil guy who can’t sleep well on their own 😌

You and Rhett could hardly wait to see the looks on the kids faces when you finally reached your destination. You had all gotten up at the crack of ass, loaded the kids all up into the truck and schlepped it on off to Bozeman to beat the rush of traffic on the highways.

But you knew the trip would be worth it in the end. 

Three of the kids rode with you while the other three rode with Royal and Cecelia and Amy with her dad. You were grateful that the littler ones would sleep the whole way through, but you pitied Royal when Tatum and Tanner would start playing the “stop-hitting-yourself” game. The first time around, Rhett had almost dislocated his shoulder trying to discipline the two little monsters.

“We almost there?” you yawned. 

“Almost there darlin,” Rhett told you. “One more turn off and we’re there.” 

“Oh thank God,” you sighed. 

One more turn off and the destination began to approach. As soon as you saw the sign that read: Dutton Ranch, 5 Miles, a heat of excitement began to well up inside you. “God, the kids are gonna freak when they see their cousins,” you remarked. 

“Which oughtta be good seeing as they’ve been locked in a car for six hours,” Rhett chuckled. “But I hear you. It’ll be good to see John and the others again.” 

You couldn’t have agreed more. Even just the thought of the kids running around on that vast expanse of property, completely free of all the problems of the world made you happier than you had ever been. 

When at last the land came into view, you and Rhett let the others follow behind you as the trucks made their way up the drive to that imposing log house at the top of the hill. God, Bozeman was gorgeous in the fall, the trees burned bright shades of orange, red, yellow, green and brown, the pines looming and towering into the bright blue field of sky. The mists of early morning rolled over the hills and mountains like the tails of ghosts wisping their way across the crests. 

At last you pulled to a stop, waking Hannah and your second set of twins, Franklin and Harvey. God, they were getting big, already two and a half and getting into everything. Hannah of course jumped from the truck when she saw John, Beth and Rip all making their way over. 

“PAPA JOHNNY!!!!!!!!” she screamed. 

John laughed as he scooped her right off the ground. “How’s my favorite grandniece?” he laughed. “You and your brothers and sisters up to no good?” 

“I solemnly swear I’m up to no good!” Hannah answered. 

“That’s what I wanna hear!” John said proudly, high-fiving her and shooing her off to the barn before the other kids nearly football tackled him. The other cousins came charging up from the stables, eager to see everyone and cause as much mischief as they could. 

“You two thought you’d get away without me coming to see you?” John joked. 

“Hi John,” you chuckled as he caught you in a tight hug, the smell of leather, hay and horses lingering in his jacket. 

“Uncle John, good to see you,” Rhett said before he too was caught by his uncle.

“Heard you had a hell of a rodeo before comin up here,” John remarked. “How’s the shoulder?” 

“A little bruised but I’ll live,” Rhett laughed half-heartedly. “How’s everybody else?” 

“Can’t complain,” Beth answered. “Kids are all driving us up the wall. I went to go and get Evie and Joey after work from school and all their teacher did was complain that they were covered in mud.” 

“Oh c’mon, let the kids be kids,” Rhett scoffed. 

“Oh! Oh-ho now, do we hear a Rhett and (y/n)?” a woman’s voice asked, coming from the porch. 

You screamed when you saw Monica running to you with her arms open and Kayce holding a four month old baby girl in his arms. “You told us you were gonna call before you got here!” Monica exclaimed.

“I promised no such thing!” 

“Yes you did!” 

“No I didn’t!” 

You and Monica bantered back and forth before Kayce came over to greet Rhett while John did the same for Royal and Cecelia, the two of them shooing Amy and the other kids off to the stables to play with their cousins. “You slimy little son of a bitch,” John chuckled. “How are ya?” 

“Not a complaint in the world,” Royal answered. “Still fightin with that bitch, Carline Warner?” 

“Yeah, Beth had it out with her about two days ago,” John answered. “Thomas did too but he kept it a little quieter.” 

“Is he here?” 

“Comin by with the grandkids around eleven,” John told him. “We’ll have more midgets on the property than we’ll know what to do with.” 

Royal laughed as everyone made their way into the house to catch up, yourself brimming with excitement at the fact that you, Rhett and the kids would get to spend an entire year here.

How do you choose your characters’ names? Choose your least favourite character so far.

Strap in because I'm going to happily ramble about my named sims, and gossip about those I despise! Content warning for sim death.

How do you choose your characters’ names? oh my gosh I have wanted to talk about this for ages Amy HOW DID YOU KNOW! It could almost be its own post. So when I started most of my characters had pre existing names because they were premades or from the gallery. I'll talk about the sims I have named.

Devin, Deanna, Silas and Milton were randomised names that I liked. Alexander's cats Hamlet and Gertrude come from the play Hamlet. Clover and Ginger are just dog names I liked.

Joey was actually named after this sea otter at Vancouver Aquarium! During the pandemic he was found orphaned and they livestreamed him in his nursery and meeting the older otters.

Kelly was named before he was born, I wanted a unisex name that could fit a boy or a girl. The boy Kelly I named him after is from Chicago Fire. He is not my favourite character but I do love the complex ones, so him being a jerk and Kelly being evil is one big coincidence.

Fergus and Carson were named with the randomise button, but I know of characters with their names so I kept them.

I wanted all of the Chopra kids to be named after wonderful black characters or persons of renown. The eldest Chopra twin was named after the actress Mercedes Varnardo who plays Koska Reeves on The Mandalorian. I love the spirit of Koska who is dedicated and loyal.

The youngest Chopra twin was named after the character Savannah from Criminal minds who married the main character Derek Morgan. She is an intelligent woman with a big heart.

And the smallest Chopra is of course named after Viola Davis. I wanted an old fashioned sounding name and Viola Davis is amazing.

Pollock Knightstone is named after painter Jackson Pollock. His father Adam is an art critic so I figured he'd name him for an out there artist.

Alfred and Rilian Villareal get their names from the areas of culture their mama and mummy love. Alfred is named for famous director Alfred Hitchcock (that's why he has a thing about birds)

Rilian is named for Prince Rilian from the Narnia books. Specifically Prince Rilian, who is the son of Prince Caspian, is a character in the Silver Chair (a movie I saw several times growing up).

I found Marta's name by looking at a list of popular Latina names. But her surname, Romero, absolutely comes from Romeo and Juliet. If you are attracted to pretty males and haven't seen Douglas Booth playing Romeo you are missing out!

Choose your least favourite character so far

I have several and thankfully they are all dead! It's hard to pick between these two though. Mortimer might beat Ophelia by a smidgeon.

Ophelia Ryan was James Goth's first wife. I hated her on principal because between rotations MCCC married them because James may have had a romance bar with Alexander but they weren't an official couple. Storywise I had her being a snob who only married James for his family status (James had the closeted trait when Alexander started flirting with him). Anyway she refused to believe James was gay, claiming no one actually enjoys woohoo, and was not going to let him divorce her so he could marry his boy toy. Then she had a cardiac explosion and died because she was a COW.

Mortimer Goth became a self obsessed mean man. First off he started blaming Bella for all their troubles, and called her a gold digger repeatedly. He was far more interested in writing his precious bestsellers than caring about his kids or wife. He only saw Cassandra and Alexander as their achievements, and let Milton lie in a diaper blowout for hours because he was writing. Oh and then he slept with their maid. Then he hired Dina to be a live in maid and slept with her before Bella disappeared. Then he was CRUSHED by a meteor made of karma.

What are your favorite things about the ship? I just like how they interact. They just like each other! Joey teaching Josh ASL and Josh sucking at it was cute.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? Hm probably not? It frustrates the hell out of me that it didn't happen "because of Donna" but Amy still happened. I would rather have Josh/Joey date and break up amicably and stay friends than Josh/Amy. I really could have seen endgame Josh/Joey though if Josh/Donna hadn't picked up so much in season 2.

@famejauregui - you already know you make me happy. we don't have to talk every day, but the ship we made? has my heart. i love plotting with you when we can and talking to you about our muses, each other and just checking in sometimes. all small things that leave me smiling. you're amazing and i'm so glad we got to know each other.

@lilyjxmes - you had me the moment we started talking and more so when you said you like amy & jonah that became ben & america. even if we don't talk or interact as much as we might like, whenever we do, i'm left smiling. you definitely make me happy with all our interactions and the ship will always be special to me. silly and cute.. just like you.

@margseliserobbie / @mollymaehague - i had to include you because you make me so happy as we've connected and interact. seeing you on the dash (outside of your queue) always makes me happy and smile. i enjoy seeing your and your girls on the dash and will always want something going with you on them. you're amazing ic and ooc.

@hale-raiser - from ava max swapped to awsten to nicholas.. you've made me happy because of how well our muses just seemed to connect. i easily see the best friendship with nicholas and lucy and any friends he gets makes him the happiest guy. she's easily becoming someone he loves and appreciates and he couldn't be happier with her in his life just in the same as i'm glad i have you in mine. even if we don't talk as much ooc, i still appreciate having you. and seeing you online does make me happy. you're so much fun to roleplay with.

@m-mount / @lw-tomlinson - i have to include you because you've made me happy is undeniable. we haven't spoken a lot ooc, but it's all definitely made me happy. the connections your boys have with mine? mason and awsten, louis and andy -- know it makes them truly happy to have such amazing friends to talk to and joke with.

there's so many more of you i could list and right now, with what i'm dealing with i'm just adding this little ending thing. (prior to things, on like tuesday) even in my drained current state, i can't not remind so many of you that you make me happy because how nice and welcoming you all are. all the interactions, ooc talk and just making me and my celebs always feel appreciated and welcomed. i couldn't ask for a better place to do what i love most.. write. this whole group really makes me happy. ( @hollywoodfamerp ) - adding this a bit late but.. happy sunday, i can't not include the group as a whole. just had to add how special this group as a whole is and made me happy since day one of joining being so welcome, sweet, understanding. the admins are amazing, the events are fun and i just love being apart. i always get so happy to wake up and make gifs for my people or get on for replies. it's truly a wonderful group and i'm happy to be apart of it.
