Tell us your 3 fave OC ships and the song(s) or other media you associate with them. They can be your own OCs or the OCs of someone else (it's more fun if you include someone else!) Pass this on to 3 others (on or off anon) and let's keep the game going!
Okay, I'm going to mention three ships of my own, because even when I have some favorites from other simmers, I prefer to go with what I know best, which are the characters of my stories. Here are three of them, in no particular order, and making it clear they're not my only favorites, I have several more, but these are the ones who already have a theme song, in fact some even have two. 😋
Tumblr media
Robin and Juliette. (Time Traveler).
1. Sleeping Satellite by Tasmin Archer 2. Science by Coldplay.
Sleeping Satellite in reference to what the Moon means for Robin's family, the sea and other important stuff in his and Juliette's life. The lines "are the seas still dry?", reminds me of Oasis Landing and the Barren Wasteland which, in my story, is where the sea was supposed to be. The lines "nobody said it was easy" and "nobody said it would be this hard", remind me of how difficult it has been for Robin and Juliette to go back together. "Questions of science, science and progress, do not speak as loud as my heart; but tell me you love me, come back and haunt me, oh, and I rush to the start!" I think the whole lyric itself describes the situation these two have been through, time jumps and all.
Tumblr media
Tony and Cassandra. (Tony and Cassandra/Tony Langerak's World Adventures).
1. No Myth by Michael Penn. 2. This Love, by Maroon 5.
No Myth always makes me think of Tony and his World Adventures, also the lines "we say goodbye before hello, my secret she will never know", remind me of how Cassandra hated Tony so much before falling in love with him, and how Tony conquered her thanks to a wish he made to the lamp of the genie who was his assistant at that time, lol. (Later Cassandra fell in love with him for real). This Love is more like Tony's chaotic love life theme and also the song he most likes to play on the drums.
Tumblr media
Dale and Kelly. They only have one theme song so far, it's Superstar by Jamelia.
"I don't know what it is, that makes me feel like this. I don't know who you are, but you must be some kind of superstar, cause you got all eyes on you no matter where you are". The song is self-explanatory, it makes me think of how crazy these two are about each other, and how attractive the two are to one another and to other people. ❤️ I must add this is one of my favorite songs ever. 🥰
There, I hope I got this right, sorry if it turned out too long, I tried to be brief this time, I swear! Sorry as well if the YouTube videos have ads, I don't know yet how to do the Spotify thingy. Thank you so much @changingplumbob for the ask! 🤗💗

His soft lips ran down her exposed shoulder, leaving light kisses and brushes as they moved down. His hair caressing her jaw while his one hand rubbed her swollen belly. The other was working its way to slowly remove the dress which was clinging to her body.
Her breathy moans and gasps had Daemon groaning above him as he moved kiss the exposed parts of her chest. Her sensitive nipples brushed against the fabric of her dress confining her body uncomfortably.
A kick inside her body made her groan and push a heavily breathing Daemon away as her face contracted with agony. On the other hand, Daemon looked at (Y/N) with pouty lips.
"What happened?" His face sobered as he saw his wife clutching her belly. The Prince's dear wife only sighed, rubbing her huge belly as she felt her hyperactive child moving inside her, landing punches and kickes at whatever it could find.
"Has she started again?" Daemon asked as he laid his hand over her belly, rubbing it while kissing it softly, not to hurt or cause discomfort to the love of his life.
It was both funny and enduring how the Rogue Prince decided to declare the still unborn child a daughter and decide for Alyssa or Visenya as a name. Never considering a boy like other lords and princes.
"Can I ask you something, Dae?" (Y/N) asked softly, her hands moving to draw circles on the back of his hand. Daemon raised his eyebrows while smiling. He moved to sit against their bed frame, before pulling his wife to let her rest on his chest.
"Yes, darling."
"Skoro syt gaomagon ao pendagon bona se riña iksis iā tala?" (Why do you think that the child is a daughter?)
Daemon smiled and placed a kiss on (Y/N)'s bare shoulder. The prince leaned back with his eyes closed as he repeated the vivid dream from a few moons past.
"I was in this beautiful garden with pathways of marble and exotic trees lining them. Flowers surrounded the entirety of the garden while the sun had a warm glow to its light. Birds chirped a song unknown to us.
And then, emerged an extremely beautiful lady. Deep, lavender eyes with the most purest of silver strands. She was dressed in a fine red dress of silk. Her long neck and wrists adorned with jewelry of valyrian steel.
She introduced herself as Tessarion, the Goddess of Beauty. She talked about our unborn child, declaring that our child is her avatar. Her reincarnation in a human form.
Since that day, I could only think of the child and remember that dream and that serene and beautiful face and feel as if... as if she is my daughter. Our daughter."
Daemon's hand rubbed his wife's baby bump while his wife looked at him with wonder. Her (E/C) eyes wide with tears glimmering in them like stars in a clear night sky.
"Then, our child is a daughter."

Hmm something about Juliette thinking, “At the very least, even if Rosalind felt like a stranger—albeit a familiar one—she would always sound the same,” in TVD then Rosalind faking an American accent in FLF and Juliette having an American accent and Rosalind taking on Juliette’s empty savior/protector role because even though she never had the power (or illusion of power) that Juliette had she felt that she was responsible due to the powers she was given and also Juliette comparing “the weight of Shanghai” to “a steel crown nailed to her head” and how she swore to herself that “she would do a damn good job of being who she was because she could be no one else” shortly after her conversation with Rosalind where Rosalind said, “Tell you what, you take over my routine and I’ll be the heir to this city’s underground empire,” and Rosalind thinking about how she could have left in FLF and FHH and Juliette’s grief for the life she left behind in LVC

Best Fragrantica reviews of (some of) my favorite perfumes, Part II
First installment here
Maison Martin Margiela By the Fireplace
Careful not to be worn by this perfume instead of being you the wearer. Not that it is oh so powerful, but it may be too bold of a statement piece for, ahem, some. Wearing BTF when you don't look the part and don't give it sense will have you smelling borderline unhealthy. Like your organs inside have worn off and darkened (and burned out, I guess). Truly as weird as it sounds. The raw thing smells very exciting. I love it ashy. I don't see myself daring any soon, however. And I don't find that it worked for the men I know either, as they have (and I cringe to say) whiter auras and don't fit the "handling cognac by the fire" thing. So I've yet to see it really work, which I'm sure will be great. It's a lovely perfume.
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Bewitched
This is the smell of a witch's brew. She made a special tea for you to drink. You pass out. When you awaken you find yourself in her garden full of poisonous berries, patchouli, weeds, clary sage, and flowers whose petals have been plucked. This is an herbal scent, like walking inside a shop selling only herbs. It's medicinal and like a tea. Not always easy to take in...The smell of sage and musk give it a unisex/masculine quality. I would say that it's more of a guy's type of cologne than a woman's. I would wear it for Halloween with a witch costume or as Morticia Addams. It's really a very engaging scent but it's linear and simple. It's a little green tea and berry. It's got a bite but it's witchy and dark, but not a strong cologne either. For a niche indie frag, not bad.
TokyoMilk Gin & Rosewater
I was in a boutique that carries the Tokyo Milk Curiosite & Bon Bon lines, and I was entranced by this. Florals are not usually my thing, by the way, because I get monster headaches from most of them. Suddenly the salesgirl is RIGHT NEXT TO ME leaning in conspiratorially and says in an awed tone that 'Blake Lively LOVES this one'. OMFG, Blake Lively, you say??!? Like for serious, the real Blake Lively?? OMFG, do you have like, more in the back?!? I'm totally going to buy every bottle you can shove in my basket because BLAKE LIVELY would hang out with me if we ran into each other and then my life could end. Um, not. I almost DIDN'T buy it because of the salesgirls then going into a tizzy about how amazing Blake is. I could not care less, although I'm sure Lively is nice enough. But it did smell cool, so home with me it came, along with the matching lotion.
Serge Lutens La Fille de Berlin
It’s an overwhelming fragrance that smells like the bottom of my grandma’s small square leather purse when we went to mass (her old dried up lipstick💄 the powder compact, the newspaper, the pack of strawberry-ish scented kleenex, the peppermints). It’s vintage, it’s a bit suffocating and I have it printed in my memory 4 ever.
Juliette Has a Gun Magnolia Bliss
Anastasia Steele, no longer a virgin. In her Audi A3, the smell of her new car, first edition books and a new life... That's what comes into mind with this perfume. The night Christian took her for the first time on his helicopter. I can imagine this is exactly what she smelled like that night. With Ellie Goulding's Love me like you do playing in the background.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540
I’m too embarrassed and ashamed to wear this in public just in case a fragrantica influencer comes out of a bush and starts pointing & laughing at me in front of everyone
Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille
what all the hot daddies in every lana del rey song smell like
Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud
If your family was religious, traditionally Asian, or both, you'll know this scent. This is the scent of a temple. This is the scent of an altar. Personally I can never wear this because smelling this brings back so many memories of burning incenses, visiting funerals, and saying prayers and wishes. My bottle is literally sitting on an altar.
Perfumer's Workshop Tea Rose
Speaking of the devil. This scent is the one with the Prada's shoes.
4160 Tuesdays Doe in the Snow
This is borne on a Christmas Eve, under the moonlight, a baby fawn just out of it's mother's womb. The moon is full light casting blue shadows snow lightly falling delicate flakes each one unique on the nose of the new born... Pure fresh Christmas morning air stillness not a sound blanketed with drifts of snow that is Doe In The Snow... pure white innocence...velvet petals so delicate under the driven snow...I have seen this in a dream... Another love... I get it...

Can you tell us more about the Steel family? What makes them so prominent?
The Steele Family have been around for quite some time. They were one of the original families that helped build Aurora, and they have a massive empire in various enterprises.
Rowan Steele is the Mayor of Aurora, and has made it an amazing city to live in. He truly cares about the population and the natural world that surrounds it. He was even approached to contend in the race for Governor of Montana, but he didn’t wish to leave Aurora.
Regina Steele is the Chief of Surgery at Aurora General— her prowess making it one of the top hospitals within the United States.
Victoria Steele is the CEO of the Steele Family Tech Enterprise, as I mentioned the Steele Family are involved in a lot of different ventures, which has been a pioneer in technological advancements.
Carina Steele is a famous country singer. She may not be the usual Steele that you may come across, but she’s well known for her powerful voice and beautiful songs.
Juliette Steele is the CFO of the Steele Family Wine Company (not the actual name of the company), underneath her Aunt Lauren (who’s the CEO), which has been in business for quite sometime and is one of the top sellers of wine in the world.
Dean Steele graduated from Yale Law School at the top of his class and is currently following his father’s footsteps in politics. Being a member of the Aurora City Council.
The Steele Family owns a lot of property throughout the world— half of which they’ve renovated into orphanages or shelters for those that need it. They’re like American Royalty (in a sense).

Predictions - Warner POV
reupload, minorly edited | written for creative writing class in 2013 before ignite me came out
Her head is turned away from me. She’s been quiet for the whole ride, and I’m not sure if it’s because she doesn’t care to talk to me or if because she’s focusing on the switchblade that she’s twirling in her hands. The noise of it rolling across her knuckles, combined with the motor’s hum of the car I drive, is the only noise between us. For the first half of the ride, she had slowly turned it over between her clumsy fingers, but after an hour’s stretch of empty road, she now maneuvers it quickly as if it is meant for her hands. She insisted on being armed today and I knew that her apprehension toward guns left a knife as the only other option of weaponry, so there it was. I look forward again at the road and soon hear the knife slide back into its sheath. Juliette’s jacket rustles as she looks at me.
“How much longer?” she says, the first words to me this whole trip.
I look at the clock on the dashboard before answering vaguely, “Not long.”
“Aaron,” she scolds, but I can hear anxiety in her voice. I turn a corner and then, once I straighten the wheel out again, look at her. She looks back with widened eyes.
“Not long, love,” I repeat.
Unsatisfied, she places the switchblade on the center console between us, and then she folds her arms across her stomach and looks forward again. Outside is just a collection of vacant warehouses on a side of town that hasn’t been occupied for years. Juliette is silent as she watches each cement structure go by until a compound, larger than its neighbors, comes into sight. It’s dark and made of cement bricks that are ashy in color, either from age or exposure to pollution. Its doors and windows are replaced with steel squares that reflect the dim sunlight that has fought its way through the hazy atmosphere. I can hear Juliette shift forward in her seat to get a better look.
“This is it?” she whispers.
“Yes.”
I stop the car two blocks away and she looks up again, knowing it’s time. The car has only been off for a second but she is already stepping out, leaning down to slip her knife into her sock. We meet again at the front of the car. Her eyes still rest on the large complex building and I can feel her emotions battle within her. For weeks, we have been following Anderson for the right time to strike. For years, he killed people for the purpose of eliminating the unneeded. For years, he used all of the Reestablishment’s resources for the wealthy and privileged instead of distributing it for all. I had been so blind to his actions, caught up in luxury and military life, that I didn’t even notice the crimes until Juliette had showed me. It then became blatant that the only way to reinsure equality was to eliminate the source.
I don’t even forgive him enough to care that he’s my father.
“Let’s split up,” she suggests as if she’s in charge. “You go east and I’ll head west. We’ll meet back up around back.”
“Don’t be seen,” I agree, staring down at her. She looks back up at me, and for the split second before she turns on her heel, I feel the urge to reach out and touch her. She walks away swiftly, the soles of her combat boots silent against the pavement. Her stealth is flawless as she blends into the shadows of the city. I mirror her tactic on the other side of the street, ducking through alleys and staying within the shadow of warehouse awnings to avoid being seen. In just minutes, I jog from the safety of the shadows to cross a street.
Everything around me is vacant, devoid of life, and dead silent. Inside the institute, however, I can sense the hum of life. Energy. People.
I turn the corner and a hand reaches out and grabs my arm. Without time to reach for my gun, a knife is pressed to my throat and I am powerless in the steel hold of probably someone twenty years more experienced in combat than I am.
But then a single second passes and my captor sighs loudly, exclaiming shakily, “Shit, Aaron. I almost killed you.”
I turn to see Juliette, her cheeks blanched as pale as her knuckles which grip the knife in her right hand. She catches me looking at the weapon that nearly killed me and she quickly sheathes the knife again.
“I have a key,” I inform her as I lead the way to a door about twenty feet away. I shove my hands in my pockets so that she doesn’t see they’re trembling. The door is made of metal and has a sealed lock on it so secure that it’s unbreakable by physical force. It wasn’t crafted that way for no reason.
The key is in my back pocket, and after retrieving it, I scan the card onto a reader embedded into the mottled brick beside the door. Next is a series of pass codes, and finally, a thumbprint. When it’s decided that I’m safe to enter, somewhere deep within the steel, gears grind mechanically. It gurgles like a boiling cauldron and vibrates visibly. Finally, the door clicks unlocked and slides open, revealing a dark hallway. It’s set to close automatically after entrance, so I nudge Juliette inside first and follow. We don’t wait to hear the door close behind us before we’re moving.
Three hallways forward, I pause in an alcove and pull her to me, leaning down to her ear. “I don’t anticipate that we’ll get separated; however, if that’s the case, room 382B on the fourth floor. You know what you need to do.” She stiffens upon hearing the words, probably not having considered that only one of us may come out of here alive. A brief stab of fear flutters in her chest.
“Of course,” she whispers, and then it’s gone. I find her forehead and place a quick kiss above her right eyebrow and then we duck back into the hallway, retreating through the doorway at the end of the entryway to another corridor.
The fluorescents here are turned on, buzzing and white like a hospital. The hall is devoid of activity, but it immediately feels more vulnerable. Juliette stops behind me, also uneasy.
“Do you think we should split up again?” She whispers, and her voice echoes off of the tiles that line the walls and floor in monotonous, diamond patterns.
I look over my shoulder at her. Watch her peek curiously into a room to her left which I know is probably empty or some sort of a storage room. Her uninterested gaze proves just as such as she moves her eyes back to mine. I shake my head.
“You’re too unfamiliar with these halls. We only separate if we need a diversion of we’re being shot at.”
“Okay.” We progress forward. She continues to glance into rooms but never lags behind farther than two steps.
The halls remain empty but lit as we wind toward the front of building, as if workers should be present. It is unsettling, especially since the parking lot appeared to be full.
I bring her to another metal door, another one that requires an access key. It hums similarly to the back door did as it grants our entrance, though it is significantly less armored for break-in. I pull the stainless steel chamber open once the locks have popped out of place and then step inside behind Juliette. She looks up, her neck craning to see all six flights of stairs that spiral upward.
“Everyone uses the elevators here, but the stealthier, the better,” I murmur and then begin taking them two at a time. She matches my pace but her breaths are audibly shorter after two flights. I’d rather carry her than to hear her struggle, but I didn’t want to offend her by making the suggestion. It’s not within her will to ever tell me when she’s weakening, even less to ask for help.
At the fourth floor, I duck out from the stairs toward the only door on the level that leads to the hallway. Juliette pretends to breathe regularly as I lean into another heavy, steel door. Despite our previous luck, people were definitely going to be present on these upper levels. The door handle is cold beneath my hands and there is no noise as I pull it open just a single centimeter to be able to look out.
I count four men.
Two linger in the open door of the nearest office and two others are walking with their backs to us toward the south end of the hall, both with manila folders under their elbows and their voices murmuring business.
Juliette ducks under my elbow to see for herself, but recoils when she sees that there are people standing just a feet away. I back away and allow the door to close again. Juliette’s gaze upon me is curious and measured. Her breaths are still quick—she gave up trying to act like the four flights of stairs didn’t wind her—and it is the only noise either of us makes for several seconds.
“You take them out and I’ll run for it,” she finally whispers.
“But you’ll be un—”
“I don’t need a bodyguard,” she snaps. Panic flashes through her eyes as she realizes that that may not have been the smartest move with all the people outside, steel door between us or not. She takes a deep breath and then whispers, “I’ll be fine, Aaron, I swear.”
My expression hardens grimly, but finally I nod, grappling for her hand one last time. Her energy buzzes through me in a wave of exhilaration I can never prepare myself for.
“Be thorough,” she whispers, letting go of me and gesturing to the door, her posture stiffening in anticipation. I poise myself before the door again. Retrieving a handgun from my holster strapped to my back, I crack the door open again to locate the two men that still linger in the doorway across the hall. My finger has just brushed the trigger when Juliette’s hand touches my leg. Her fingers quickly caress up my leg. I stiffen in surprise and confusion until she finds my other pistol strapped to my belt and pulls it out for herself.
“You don’t have to—”
“Just go.”
I see her insert it into the waistband of her jeans in the corner of my eye.
A shaky breath in and a shaky breath out and then I am swinging the door open. My gun is aimed to the back of the first man as I pull the trigger and reverberations of gunfire fill the hall. I don’t need to watch their bodies fall to know the bullets hit the target.
Juliette darts out of the stairwell behind me and sprints to our left. The hall is eerily empty for the next few seconds before concerned workers begin to duck out of their rooms. Unarmed, those men make easy targets and drop like flies upon impact and stay down. Halfway to room 283B, my ears are ringing so badly that I don’t hear whenever Juliette screams my name. And in the end, I could only sink to the ground as the butt of a gun slams into my skull.
~~
Darkness has never been an enemy of mine until I realize I’m trapped in it. As if it is a pool of water, my body floats in the substance, intangible and yet so debilitating it’s as if I am suspended tar rather than unconsciousness. Over and over, and the light behind my eyelids shifts and twinkles before finally fading to maroon then crimson then orange. And that’s when I realize I can open my eyes.
At first, the brightness makes it impossible to see anything, but then shapes begin to materialize. Shadows and figures become more and more definite, but it’s as if I am viewing it from a kaleidoscope. People are speaking around me, but they are incomprehensible murmurs that I’d rather block out than try to decode. Agony jackhammers inside my skull like there are millions of splinters poking into the left side of my head. I realize now that I’d rather be unconscious again. I moan and close my eyes again.
“At least the guy’s up. I have no clue how to get back to the sector.”
The voice is familiar, but not Juliette’s. I grasp for some recollection, but all I find in my brain is haze. Memories are unclear but not inaccessible, and the process of seeking them out is definitely too painful to try right now. Instead I focus on the fingers that I now feel across my temples, gentle but buzzing. I instantly recognize the sensation.
“Julie—” I exhale, my breath weak and causing her name to cut off.
The hands pause and lift away from my face, but seconds later they’re back again.
“Don’t try to talk. You’re bleeding pretty badly, and I’m sure you’ve probably got one hell of a headache right now.”
“So when you’re done playing nurse or whatever, I’d like to know how to get home now,” The first voice continued. In less of a nonresponsive state, my brain finally matches a face to the complaining. Kenji. I thought we’d escaped him getting to this place, but Juliette’s sidekick always has a way of showing up uninvited. Once you start to pretend Kenji isn’t as annoying as he is, it sort of becomes true. At least, that’s how I handle him.
I try opening my eyes again, and though the light causes my brain to throb more acutely, everything is clearer. I’m relieved to see that the light behind my eyelids is from the sunlight coming through a window and not an overhead lamp in a morgue.
We’re in a car, more specifically, the jeep that Juliette and I have brought here. I’m lying horizontally on the seat with Juliette’s lap under my head, and Kenji sits in the driver’s seat in front of me, buckled up and grasping the steering wheel even though the car isn’t moving. He’s chewing on his thumbnail boredly and winks at me in the rear view mirror when he catches me watching.
I look up at Juliette and find her staring back, looking bedraggled but unharmed. My gun still protrudes from her waistband like before, but now blood is sprayed across the front of her shirt. I can’t confirm that it’s not my own.
She allows me to turn my head, and doing so, she pulls away her hands from my face. She’d been dabbing blood off my temple with a handkerchief, and the cloth is now soaked through with red. I try to sit up, but her hand catches my shoulder and shoves me back down.
“Is he—”
“You hit your head pretty hard.” She folds the cloth in an even square, not looking at me.
“I just want to know if—”
“Kenji followed us and found you.” She looks down at her jacket and puts the bloody square into her pocket.
“Yes but how did you—”
“We really need to get back so you can—”
My patience grows thin and I interrupt her before she can cut me off again. “Juliette!”
She finally stops fiddling around with her fingers and looks at me dead-on. Something in my facial expression makes her laugh. She reaches out to run her fingers through my hair, no doubt stained from my own blood.
“It’s finished,” she says, finally addressing my question. “Your father is dead.”

ok well now i must know... what perfume does the Not Them wear
alright so I'm gonna give a few options!
Roses and Razorblades by Alkemia (notes of bulgarian rose and forged steel)
Not a Perfume by Juliette has a Gun (a molecular fragrance that is supposed to adapt to whoever is wearing it, so it smells different on each person)
Fantomas by Nasomatto (plastic, smoke, and fruit candy--strange, unsettling, intriguing)
I REALLY had fun looking up scents that made me think of the Stranger and the Not-Them!

The path from successful character actor to becoming a star is difficult. It’s even harder when you’re self-destructive. Tom Sizemore, who has died aged 61 after a brain aneurysm, will be best remembered for his roles in Saving Private Ryan, as Tom Hanks’s wise sergeant, and in Heat, as the muscle in Robert De Niro’s bank-robbing crew.
His characters were often informed by their volatility: affable nihilism could explode into violence, which made him a natural player of bent cops and detectives, as believable in straight roles as in over-the-top variations, such as Oliver Stone’s Natural Born Killers. But his own personality bore many of those same traits. His career was sidelined repeatedly by addictions to heroin and methamphetamines, and his peripatetic drug-fuelled sex life led to repeated cases of domestic violence.
In 1998, after starring as the criminal gangster boss John Gotti in the television film Witness to the Mob, Sizemore received a visit from De Niro and his mother, who forced him into rehab. Steven Spielberg then hired him for Private Ryan, provided Sizemore be drug-tested regularly, and threatening to reshoot all his scenes if he failed a single test.
Five years later, on the verge of television success as the lead in Robbery Homicide Division, he was kicked off the set of a movie, Piggy Banks, accused of molesting an 11-year-old female actor, and convicted of domestic violence against his then girlfriend, “Hollywood madam” Heidi Fleiss. The double scandal contributed to the TV show’s cancellation.
The two sides of Sizemore’s talent could be traced back to childhood. Born in Detroit, he was the son of Thomas Sr, a lawyer and philosophy professor, and Judith (nee Schannault), who worked in the city ombudsman’s office. A self-described “wayward, angry teen”, he was drawn to acting after watching Montgomery Clift, James Dean and Marlon Brando playing such roles, and by De Niro in Taxi Driver.
He was also influenced by his father’s two brothers. His sober father won a scholarship to Harvard; his uncles were exuberant denizens of a world of drugs and crime. Sizemore tried for years to produce a script about them, An Honest Thief, written by his lawyer brother Aaron, which nearly got made in 2014, starring Sizemore and Danny Trejo. It fell through; a much different version, Good Thief, eventually appeared, without Sizemore, in 2021.
He studied theatre at Wayne State University, Detroit, taking a master’s at Temple, in Philadelphia. He began in off-Broadway theatre in New York; his friends included James Gandolfini, John McGinley and Edie Falco, with whom he had a relationship.
His first film role was in Lock Up (1989), and among his other three roles that year was a part in Stone’s Born on the Fourth of July. He did Blue Steel (1990) and Point Break (1991) for Kathryn Bigelow, the Wesley Snipes vehicle Passenger 57 (1992), and the Quentin Tarantino-scripted True Romance (1993), directed by Tony Scott, where he turned down the part originally offered him because he did not want to beat up Patricia Arquette on screen, and suggested Gandolfini, in his first Hollywood movie, for the role.
During the filming of Natural Born Killers (1994) he and Juliette Lewis began an affair; for four months they stayed in her mansion, doing drugs and having sex. “Temptation is impossible for me to resist,” he said. “Come on, this is Hollywood … it’s in the job description.”
From there he played Bat Masterson opposite Kevin Costner’s Wyatt Earp (1994) and was excellent in Bigelow’s overlooked Strange Days (1995). He had earned a lead role, which came in Peter Hyams’s The Relic (1997), but another small though telling part in Enemy of The State (1998), along with Private Ryan, seemed to lock him into supporting roles.
In his memoir By Some Miracle I Made it Out of There (2013), Sizemore detailed a long affair with the actor Elizabeth Hurley. In 1996 he married Maeve Quinlan, who had also been in Natural Born Killers; they divorced three years later amid accusations of drug use and physical abuse.
He had leads in three TV movies before Robbery Homicide Division, based on the original Michael Mann script that eventually became Heat. When he was not charged with molestation Sizemore returned to Piggy Banks (retitled Born Killers, to capitalise on his notoriety). Fifteen years later, the child actor, now 26, sued him for $3m, but a Utah court dismissed the lawsuit; Sizemore dismissed the allegations as “misconstrued”. His 2003 conviction in the Fleiss case resulted in seven months in jail after he failed drug tests during his probation.
At the same time he began a relationship with Janelle McIntire. In 2005 the couple had twin boys, named Jaden and Jagger. Yet at that point he made a video film called Triple X Tom, with Jersey Jaxin and three other porn actors, in which he claimed to have slept with Paris Hilton. When the celebrity denied it, he said he had made it up to impress the other actors . He did receive an XRCO award nomination as “Best New Stud”. When McIntire divorced him in 2006, he began an affair with Maxine Entwistle, the former wife of the Who bassist John.
Arrests for drug possession and spousal battery followed. He appeared on two Celebrity Rehab shows in 2010 and reunited with Fleiss on Dr Phil (2013). He ping-ponged between scandals and small parts in as many as 16 films in a year, yet still held recurring parts in series such as Hawaii Five-O and Shooter. He was dropped from Shooter when, after accidentally running over a stunt man, he was convicted in 2017 of two charges of domestic abuse against a girlfriend. He was allowed to finish his probation sentence despite a 2019 arrest for heroin possession. His last big film was playing Liam Neeson’s FBI rival William Sullivan in Felt (2017).
Sizemore wrote in his memoir: “There are so many guys who had good lives, great lives, and blew it … I think there are some guys who think they don’t deserve to have good lives.”
He is survived by his sons.

Finished watching Silo with my dad, I have Opinions. I read the books a long while ago and barely remember them (I had a terrible habit of reading so fast I barely remember entire series of books), but from my spotty memory I remember things that don’t fit in with the show, and I feel like the very last scene was a mistake. It’s just not as impactful as it should have been. Juliette should’ve just gone through the door and found the other silo.
Imagine the last scene being Juliette opening this giant steel door and going through a tunnel and arriving to the door named “Silo 17” intercut with scenes of the raiders going through the Down Deep.
The very last shot is Juliette dropping her bag and looking up awed at the number, zoom in on “Silo 17” and then black.
Much better.
Idk, I have opinions. I really need to re-read the books though, I can’t tell if my memory is fucking with me or not, at the very least about the outside being different in the book.
And about Lukas.
