On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Junior and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”
He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’” So the disciples did as Junior had directed them and prepared the Passover.
When evening came, Junor was reclining at the table with the Twelve. 21 And while they were eating, he said, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me.”
They were very sad and began to say to him one after the other, “Surely you don’t mean me, Lord?”
Junior replied, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me. The Son of The Swordsman will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of The Swordsman! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”
Then Church, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely you don’t mean me, Rabbi?”
Juno answered, “You have said so.”
While they were eating, Junior took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”
Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”
When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the desert.
Then Junior told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written:
“‘I will strike the shepherd,
and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’
But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into the State of Vadam.”
Caboose replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.”
“Truly I tell you,” Junior answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”
But Caboose declared, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.
(Did I copy and paste Mathew 26 17-35, then replace some names with stuff from rvb and halo? Yes. Have I seen any episodes of rvb? No. Will I watch? Eventually.)

Lupa meeting Jason for the first time, Seeing this small human pup and being reminded of her own human children, Romulus and Remus.
The child trembles, not from fear but from the cold. The image of two babies shivering from the assaulting winds of the wild, clinging on each other, comes flashing through her mind. They. He needs shelter.
The she-wolf is suddenly flooded with necessity of keeping this pup.
She trains him the hardest. She knows he is destined for something enormous, she can feel it. Just like with her other two. But Jason is young, too young. He needs more time under the fire to be molded into a proper child of Rome, someone worthy to call themselves the son of the Kings of the gods.
In the night, she allows him to lay by her side. She tells him stories, about the greatest heroes of Rome, about her children, how her Romulus founded Rome and became its first King, and how her Remus died by his brother’s hand. She doesn’t know if Jason truly understands the weight of the words as she talks about the demise of her child, but the toddler looks at her with a contemplative expression on his round rosy face and after a moment he wraps his small arms around her neck. The act takes the wolf by surprise and when she gains her composure, she bitterly orders him to go to sleep.
Despite the harshness in her tone, she lets him embrace her as he sleeps, covering him with her warm fur and nuzzling his hair.
Other demigods pups come and go but Jason stays. Until Juno comes for her champion.
To put it in mortal terms, it can be said that what came after the arrival of the Queen, is the godly equivalent of a custody battle.
Jason needs to learn how to be the leader of men, Lupa knows this. She also knows that there’s so much that Jason can learn at her side.
But in the end, he is Juno’s. Nothing can’t beat the title of Juno’s champion.
The Queen is eyeing them thoughtfully with an aura of superiority and the she-wolf stand solemn, but the child starts nuzzling her side and she can’t help but reciprocate the affection.
Juno comes and gently picks up Jason and strokes his hair.
As they take their leave from the Wolf House, Lupa watches as the child rest his head on the Queen’s shoulder.
She can’t help to remember the moment when that mortal shepherd took her two children away.
Jason waves goodbye to her as he is taken away. Lupa can’t look back anymore.

Cracking open my Religio Romana handbook to check out what's going on next month and, since my Saturnalia post is making the rounds again, decided to write down some for anyone that would like to write some Jason/Reyna/Camp Jupiter religious shenanigans throughout the year 👍
This isn't all of them btw! I just grabbed a couple that seemed most interesting for their respective months or most relevant to the Roman babes
January 11th and January 15th: Carmentalia, two feast days in honour of Carmenta (goddess Juturna also celebrated on the 11th)
February 13th to 22nd: Parentalia, commemoration of ancestors and the dead in families
February 22nd: Caristia, family pot luck in spirit of love and forgiveneness
February 23rd: Terminalia, in honor of Terminus
February 27th: Equirria, first of two horse-racing festivals in honor of Mars
March 1st: original New Year's Day when sacred fire of Rome was renewed; Matronalia in honor of Juno Lucina; also considered the dies natalis (birthday) of Mars
March 14th: second Equirria
March 15th: Feriae Iovi, sacred to Jove (Jupiter)
March 17th: Agonalia in honour of Mars
April 1st: Veneralia in honor of Venus
April 21st: Parilia, rustic festival in honor of Pales, Roman patron goddess of shepherds and flocks, and the dies natalis (birthday) of Rome
April 23rd: Vinalia Priora, the first of two wine festivals
May 9th, 11th, and 13th: Lemuria, festival of the dead
May 15th: Mercuralia, in honor Mercury; Feriae (free day) of Jove (Jupiter)
June 3rd: anniversary of the Temple of Bellona
June 7th to 15th: Vestavia, in honour of Vesta, June 9th specifically is a die religiousus to her
June 24th: festival of Fors Fortuna
July 6th to 13th: Ludi Apollinares, games in honor of Apollo
July 14th to 19th: series of markets or fairs - not religious
July 17th: anniversary of the Temple of Honos and Virtus, sacrifice to Victory
July 23rd: Neptunalia, held in honor of Neptune
August 23rd: Vulcanalia in honor of Vulcan
September 1st: ceremonies for Jupiter Tonans (the Thunderer) and Juno Regina
September 20th to 23rd: days set aside for markets and fairs
October 7th: rites for Jupiter Fulgur (Jupiter of daytime lightning) and Juno Curitis
November 4th to 17th: Plebeian Games
November 18th to 20th: markets and fairs
December 1st: ceremonies at temples for Neptune and for Pietas
December 3rd: Bona Dea rites for women only
December 17th to 23rd: Saturnalia in honor of Saturn with public ritual on the 17th
Side note that I am not an academic, not religious, not a pagan, and not spiritual in any way. I just like reading about mythologies and how those stories/deities used to be, and still are, worshipped by people. Also helps when coming up with religions and stuff for stories. But that's it, I have one book and access to google/wikipedia and that's the depths on my knowledge on Roman polytheistic practices 🙌

file (2)9-61-0210: sibling traits
thank you @thecomfywriter and @mysticstarlightduck for this tag! this one is a sibling questionnaire, so i'll use shepherd and juno from n3xt y3ar!
1. who looks more like their dad?
shepherd, the resemblance is nearly uncanny.
2. who looks more like their mom?
juno, although neither picked up much from her.
3. who eats the most?
neither eat as much as they should, but if you count drinks, then it’s definitely shepherd.
4. who has been in the weirdest situations?
juno, if only because he’s older.
5. who sleeps the most?
juno, but it’s a close tie.
6. most stable romantic life?
shepherd has never had a romantic relationship, so this one goes to juno. never had a bad breakup, that guy.
7. worst habit of each?
juno is a raging pessimist and always gives up before he starts, and shepherd bottles up their emotions and doesn’t talk about their problems, unconsciously judging others who are more open.
8. who’s the most dramatic?
shepherd. hands down.
9. who had the weird phase?
they both live in a constant purgatory of “weird phases,” but shepherd wouldn’t cringe as hard looking back.
10. best cook in the family?
neither can cook, sadly. they’ve lived off microwave meals for years.
11. best memory together?
shepherd’s 13th birthday!
12. worst memory together?
their dad leaving.
13. dream trip together?
anywhere with no goddamn robot censorship.
14. would you rather: not be able to shower or change clothes?
they’d both pick never changing clothes (nearly canon).
15. who’s older?
juno is 21, and shepherd is 16.
16. describe others in 3 words
(i assumed this meant each describes the other, so that’s what i went with)
shepherd: “oh, okay, let me think… juno’s kind, resourceful, and creative.” juno: “don’t bother talking me up.”
juno: “dramatic, a bit cagey, and naive. can’t say i’m wrong, can you?” shepherd: “okay jeez–”
17. role model?
there are literally no role models in this world (at least no human role models), so while juno wouldn’t have anyone, shepherd might pick their dad, or at least the version of their dad they’ve invented.
18. who usually has worst ideas?
shepherd, if only because they have ideas.
19. giant insect on wall— certified bug killer?
the bugs kill them.
open tag, but i'll consult the list!

New Fargo Season 5 character portraits, via the FX website. Official character descriptions under the cut.
Dorothy "Dot" Lyon: Depending on who you ask, "Dot," portrayed by Juno Temple, is a wife and mother, a member of the PTA, a fighter, survivor or a tiger. She’s tenacious to almost a delusional fault, never giving up no matter how impossible the circumstances. Ultimately, she’s a mama bear with a lion’s heart.
Roy Tillman: “Roy Tillman,” portrayed by Jon Hamm, is one of those constitutional sheriffs, a rancher preacher, defender of the American gospel. A man who works from sunup to sundown shepherding God’s land. In Roy’s own reality, he is the law and therefore is above the law; he’s the judge, jury and too often the executioner.
Lorraine Lyon: “Lorraine Lyon,” portrayed by Jennifer Jason Leigh, is CEO of the largest Debt Collection Agency in the country, with two billion dollars in annual revenue. Lorraine is poised, regal and opinionated. She’s also a huge donor to any candidate or cause that she believes in, regardless of political affiliation (read: anyone that can be helpful to her in the future).
Wayne Lyon: “Wayne Lyon,” portrayed by David Rysdahl, has the forced cheer of a man whose mother raised him with a thick brew of disappointment and guilt. Now he owns a car dealership and three quarters of a fishing boat. A sweet guy who doesn’t match up to society’s (or his mother’s) definition of masculinity, his ideal evening is playing sock hockey at home with his daughter, Scotty.
Gator Tillman: “Gator Tillman,” portrayed by Joe Keery, is a handsome charmer, the way the snake in the garden was a charmer. He’s a sapling struggling to grow in the shadow of an oak, desperate to prove himself to his larger-than-life father in the absence of a mother’s love. With daddy issues up there with Oedipus Rex’s, Gator wants to be a winner but unfortunately doesn’t know what the word means.
Witt Farr: “North Dakota Deputy Witt Farr,” portrayed by Lamorne Morris, is the guy when you look up the word “reliable” in the dictionary, you see his picture. He splits the check down to the cent, not because he’s cheap but because he’s fair. He’s dogged, earnest and Minnesota Nice.
Indira Olmstead: “Minnesota Police Deputy Indira Olmstead,” portrayed by Richa Moorjani, is a practical woman – socks before shoes – and good at puzzles, which may have led to her career in law enforcement. She struggles to manage her finances while supporting her husband Lars and his delusional dream of winning the Masters Golf Tournament.
Ole Munch: Age unknown, birthplace unknown. On any given day, “Ole Munch,” portrayed by Sam Spruell, looks as though he could be 30-60. Some say he has always been here, blowing through the American landscape – the dark shadow waiting for us at the end of the hall. He’s carved from stone, relentless as the sea, the forces of physics don’t apply to him.
Danish Graves: “Danish Graves,” portrayed by Dave Foley, is Lorraine Lyon’s in-house counsel and primary advisor. A country club type, who has never been in a real fight, but sees himself as a winner, when clearly Lorraine is the heavyweight champion and he just holds her spit bucket.

Meet the OCs - Brothers Apart AU
A summary of original characters that are featured in and originated from AU I've cowritten with @brothersapart's @nightmares06. The original Brothers Apart is a Supernatural g/t AU, and my contributions add in characters from the BBC's Sherlock.
Supernatural belongs to the CW, Sherlock to the BBC, adapted from Arthur Conan Doyle's stories, The Borrowers to Mary Norton, and these OCs to me!
Stan Baker - The Unexpected Good Boi
Tumblr media
art by the wonderful @quackghost
Stan is playful, selfless, and protective. He cares deeply for others, especially his loved ones and those who cannot easily defend themselves. His combat experience and low-key paranoia give him excellent reflexes, and he's honestly a bit of a g/t nerd who doesn't have the context for that (def one of the most self-insert aspects of him). At the end of the day, he's just a big softie, in the 'looks like a cinnamon roll and is one but will kill you if necessary' way.
Though he wasn't the first OC of mine introduced in the Brothers Consulted story, "A Burglary at Baker Street", Stan stole my heart the second he hit the page. He was meant to be a plot device, never to be seen again, and he decided he deserves to be an actual character. Who was I to argue? I mean, lookit him! Complete and total charmer.
Unlike Zepheera, who is always my emotional support borrower, I can play around with Stan's Situations™️ a lot more freely. Oftentimes he's a human, like in Brothers Consulted. In AU like Brothers Chosen, he's a born and bred borrower. I've even got a size-shifter AU for him!
Mark and Anita Bend - Power Twins

Mark and Anita are twins, and victims of terrible circumstance in Brothers Consulted. Mark is the heart of the pair, trusting and friendly and happy to make friends. His problem is he's not the most tactful, which is where his sister comes in; the self-established more thoughtful and responsible one. Anita is the brains, thinking everything through before acting.
The one thing they share perfectly is a strong devotion to and protectiveness for one another. They would do absolutely anything to keep the other out of danger. A fact that is easily exploited, unfortunately. They're all they've got in a world set against them.
Nathan Sullivan - Stan's Partner

Nate is the yang to Stan's yin. He keeps his excitable partner grounded, and rolls with all the incredible things that happen in their lives. Whether he's a teacher as a human or a curious drifter as a borrower, Nathan always has a deep love of learning and will do what he can to be in an environment where he can keep discovering new things. He's also a passionate home cook, and keeps Stan and their German shepherd Juno very happy at home.
Where there is Stan, there must also be a Nate. Like Stan, I love to play around with Nate's size and background from story to story. So far he's appeared as a human, though I've written one short with him as a borrower, in which he and a young Stan met as kiddos.
Stan's Brothers
Stan Baker is the youngest of five brothers, who basically raised him. They have yet to show up in proper BAU, but they've shown up more often in the size-shifter AU as they help their baby bro in distress.
The oldest, Simon, stepped up to lead the household when their parents were no longer in the picture. He worked hard to make sure his brothers could live the best lives possible, and couldn't be more proud of them all. He's incredibly chill and approaches everything with a calm and clear head. If Simon freaks out, you know it's all gone pear-shaped.
Dylan, the second oldest, holds the most fight in him apart from Stan. His scholastic track leaned towards the athletic, and he has the bigger temper of the bunch, especially when it comes to his loved ones being messed with. He taught his younger brothers how to hold their own in a fight when they were kids, and very nearly joined the British army as an adult before changing his mind.
Seamus Baker is the know-it-all middle child. He mellows out of them with age, but certainly had pedantic tendencies as a kid. Studies were a major aspect of his youth, as well as making sure his brothers were all keeping in some kind of order. He seems humorless compared to his boisterous brothers, but his funny bone is just harder to tickle.
And Levi is the one just older than Stan, a sweetheart who only wants everyone to get along. He's on the chill side of the spectrum, like Simon, but he's got too much energy to keep it up all the time. He's also the most creative of the brothers, and is most likely to end up with a career in the arts.
