There's something so insane to me about being able to create and recreate vintage or even ancient music, clothes, fabrics, building architecture, anything, really.
I watched this video about a lady who knit a WWII-era vest, and it was really unique, because the cable work would eat up yarn, when there were shortages of fibers. This pattern would have likely been used by people to send overseas to soldiers, and now it's being created in a time where this war has been over for generations. What were the people making this pattern thinking of? What about the people making the vest? Could they fathom a world where world wars didn't happen back to back? Could they imagine what peace felt like, or did it fade like a distant memory, a faint friend? All we have now are the remnants of their efforts, a "simple" vest that would warm the bodies of countless people the knitter would never have imagined were here on earth with them.
We're reaching across time to learn about other people - we're reaching our hands out just to grasp anything tangible. And when we've take hold of something, all we can do is say I love you I love you I love you

Did you see the part where Meg was annoyed that only dogs can be qualified to be service medical dogs? lol guess she's mad a bird can't be a service cardic arrest animal. Once again pulled up the "people think only DOGS can be trained to do this!!! How dare they!!!" *grumbling about mammalian bias* argument. I'm sorry Meg but your fucking bird or a rabbit cannot be a service animal for the blind or anything that dogs have be bred to do

hello!! not sure if someone else has asked this, but what is ur fav pokemon plush?
i don’t think i’ve been asked this!! okay so I have quite a few, my fav pokemon are Luxio/Shinx, Espeon, and Lycanroc midday and i have a few plushies of those I really love!
i have this Espeon 10” Pokeplush which is super soft minky and is well made, I love how pink she is! I also love my Lycanroc Midday 12” Pokeplush for its detail. And my favorite Eevee is my 2021 Select Shiny eevee by jazwares! I love that they made an official plushie for a shiny!
i LOVE my newest additions to my shinx/luxio line collection, they are big (14”!) fluffy plush that are the USA version of the My Rentorar’s Story line fluffy plush. They are so soft and high quality and are perfect for cuddling! they are still available on the official US pokemon site! Luxio / Shinx
and then my favorite eeveelution build a bears are my Espeon and Vaporeon! I customized my espeon by removing her mouth (the shape looked super awkward) and restuffing her with silky polyfil (squishmallow stuffing). The Vaporeon, in my opinion, is one of the better BaB eeveelutions, the pose and sculpting are so well done!
lol this ended up being longer than I expected. thank you for the unique question! ^_^

okay i've been seeing more and more people, especially fic writers and fan artists, leaving social media because of the way they're being treated and it's becoming worrying.
fandom creators are not celebrities (not that you should treat celebrities horribly either but y'know what i mean.) most of the time they're teenagers or young adults just making some art in their room at 3am about a thing they like.
you have no right to make demands or offer unsolicited criticism. no right. it's the equivalent of banging on your neighbor's door to let them know you don't like how they've decorated their garden. it's their garden. you can look at it. you can like or dislike it. and then you move along. you're not allowed to demand that they change it.
and when people share things about their personal life online that is not an invitation for you to invade their privacy or converse with complete strangers like they're your childhood besties.
respect people's boundaries. ask for permission before offering your opinion. just be fucking nice to people please.

[Episode Four] Group Date with House Three!
Our Bachelor and the contestants of House Three enjoyed a night out on the town for their date! Drinks flowed and warbling voices cracked on into the wee hours of the morning. Daniel enjoyed everyone's company, but he seemed more subdued in his private moments with our front-runners. I wonder if something is on his mind?
aka dear god i am so sorry to the creators of my house three babies, i wanted to get you guys to three parts but these pixel doofs were absolute hell in a handbasket to handle, and these are literally my best shots of the night 🥺 this lot is the restaurant & karaoke bar built by the fabulously talented @bottsbotts!

barnes and noble has been raising the prices of everything and further pushing for their premium membership option (which they raised the price of by 60 percent this year!) and then when they have big sales events, they're less than what they used to be.
last year at this time you could get one of their leather-bound book annex tomes for $12.50 (without a member discount) because of the 50 percent off all hardcover sales. but they raised the price of those tomes from 25 bucks to 30, and they decreased the sale from 50 percent off all hardcovers to 1/3rd off. so that same book that was $12.50 at last year's end-of-year sale is now 20 bucks. and that's supposed to be savings enough to induce me to walk into one of their stores this week?
i'm sorry but b&n has just gotten so greedy, even though their business has only been doing better and better in previous years. they do not have to be raising prices like they have been, and they can damn well afford to have the same savings events they used to. if you went to one of those hardcover sales a year or two ago, even if you lived in a less populated area like i do, you had never seen a b&n so busy in your life. things were flying off the shelves. they WERE making bank.
and as a company they've only been growing and growing (as much as the publishing industry has been, in recent years). but there are so many other ways to buy books. CHEAPER ways to buy books. MORE SUSTAINABLE ways to buy books. and since books and booksellers are doing really well right now, i don't see why barnes and noble is getting so greedy when they don't have to be. i dont like new shiny books that much. people buy books for the content, ultimately. sometimes we as consumers might make the choice that a new shiny book is worth paying a bit more for, but not that much. barnes and noble has just been demanding more and more of their customers' money for less and less benefit.
