It's a difficult question to answer..!

See, I've never completely lost interest in tsv, I still occasionally draw and try to remotivate myself into updating my fic, but I definitely declined in how often I draw/write batim ).m <- my budgie wrote that

And one of the reasons why things have slowed down is actually something I've been thinking about lately. Ppl on Tumblr have been less interactive over the years; a mix of ppl leaving and also ppl joining that don't reblog+tag, reply, ask, etc as often anymore. This has progressing for years now, even back then. And then less art gives even less reason for interaction; an awful cycle. (And idk anyone has an answer for this but on twt whenever I interact with people that comment on my stuff first, they delete their comment entirely. I don't get it. But it definitely made me demotivated)

I also probably fell out of view with not keeping up with batdr and such, so I kind of understand if people haven't been talking to me for those lol

I won't never draw tsv again, I've thought of so much stuff I want to get out there, but sometimes I think about stuff that requires context from years ago because I started it in 2018. And then reintroducing stuff feels like beating a dead horse ;; I am glad some ppl are still interested so don't be afraid to ask about tsv! It'd really help get the creativity going again and also help my problem of not knowing what people get

At the very least, between a lot of non-batim comics and AUs I've been playing with, I want to finish Team Sillyvision, The First Part since I've already started that fic

Just realized that I never shared villain Boris’ backstory.

So, Bendy and Boris never met in that alley way and became brothers. Boris was found by some people and taken to the orphanage. He grew up in the system alone, bullied by the other kids. Because of the stress Boris developed kleptomania especially with food (because why not), and this pretty much caused him to become more of an outcast from his fellow orphans, and made potential families not want him anymore. He’s peers now never trust him with anything, afraid he’s gonna always steal their things, or blames him for stealing something that he never stole.

So, Boris rejected by his peers for something he couldn’t control decides to start his own family, a street gang consisting of other rejects and weirdos from the system. They oftentimes do the classic “steal from the rich and give to the poor” kind of thing. Helping out other rejects and outcasts, giving to the poor and needy, and in general looking out for each other.

Tho just because Bendy and Boris aren’t brothers doesn’t mean they don’t know each other. They encountered each other on occasion in the orphanages in Sillyvision and surrounding areas. But because they never had that initial bonding moment their interactions were simply that of two stranger orphan children. They generally left each other alone, neither being too mean or nice to the other. They were just pretty neutral.

However years later Bendy was sent to Sillyvision on some business. In order for Bendy to gather intel on the town for work, he came in contact with the leader of the local street gang, Boris, offering him a deal. Gather relevant intel on the town and Bendy would owe Boris for helping him.

Maybe a year after that and some memebers of Boris’ gang start getting mysteriously sick. Some kind of illness that even the local doctors aren’t able to detect. So Boris contacts the only other person he can think of and asks Bendy to try to cure them. Bendy of course, who also finds himself sick with the same illness, offers to follow a lead he’s heard someone has on the illness in ToonTown. And Boris demands that he accompany Bendy to ensure the demon finds this cure.

That’s the furthest I’ve gotten on getting the questers on the actual quest.

Yes I am Mod Mama from @ask-sillyvision , and why I stopped is just like with any number of reasons an artist stops drawing for certain fandoms;

I mostly got bored of it over time, as well as just getting burnt out. 😓

And now after all the lore from the games have come out, I’m unsure how to incorporate all the characters in with what i had originally planned.

But upon seeing the teaser for a Bendy movie coming out; who knows if I’ll return to it 👀

Here's how i think the trio of bendy, alice and Boris met in sillyvision! (Bendy crack-up comics)

sillyvision was just a town, a bit isolated from any other towns or cities, but was lovely and full of life regardless.

Some say it's because the residents just prefer being surrounded by the nature, some say it's a safety caution because of all the chaos a town full of ZANIES can bring, and some other rumours, but legends say, that in a particular day, the sky turned dark, the air became freezing, and the ground CRACKED.

cracked, cracked and cracked until a small little imp came out of the crack that was created at the centre of the town.

It was clear that the demon was young, very young. Perhaps a child.

It looked like a cat, having two little horns with the form of a croissant, a big grin and a small little bowtie just to add that little spark of fancy!

he broke all the stereotypes surface dwellers made of demons. he wasn't tall and scary, he was short and cute. He wasn't dirty or hungry for souls. He was curious and squeaky clean! He didn't roar or growled, he squeaked and whistled.

But he wasn't an angel. He was still there for a reason!

And,,he might have gotten distracted for a while, he just has never seen the surface aside for what his dad told him, so he wanted to see everything!

He wanted to climb trees (he did.), He wanted to try surface dwellers foods (he did., He wanted to see the flowers and everything else!

Everything was fascinating. But he still needed to prove to his dad that he wasn't a just an imp, he was the son of the king of hell! And what better show than steal someone soul and eat it?

Except it didn't work one bit.

The small imp thought that going for the small puppy that lived in that house up the hill would be easy, but it wasn't! The wolf pup wasn't even scared of the demon presence! He just kept practicing with his clarinet and taking care of his animals!

one time he even took the imp and brought him inside, saying how they were friends now! Hah! Bendy? Friend with his future victim?! Bendy? The son of the king of hell?!

Yes.

He ended up taking a big liking to the wolf. He became his friend.

the demon couldn't believe in what situation he got himself, but what could he say? He enjoyed the Wolf pup! He even had the same first letter as bendy! Boris! Both with a B! They match.

Until the clouds started moving funny. They created some kind of stairs, where a beautiful child came down. She had black hair, a bright halo that could replace the sun, two wings so white and clean they almost seemed fake, and a very pretty dress.

she floated on a cloud, and she asked around about a certain demon.

All the nuns were so happy about the angel visit and rescue! They have been praying and praying for some help for the demon who crawled from hell! And so was alice, the angel, to know that all these nuns had faith in her. She needed to help them!

so she searched, she searched and searched until she found the demon and got right in action!

She came in the house, ready to banish the demon. Demanding the demon to leave as he had no right to terrorize these poor surface toons, but something stopped her.

A wolf pup stopped her and said that there was no need to fight, she could negotiate and maybe even live along with his demon buddy! (The thought didn't pleased her at first.)

But she accepted anyway. So she sat down and decided that she could give it a shot. (She realized she didn't had weapons to banish a demon, she was powerless, and she had no courage to say it.)

At first, it wasn't the best. The demon and the angel didn't liked each other. Both scared and hateful of each other. But things started to change when they got to know what both were like. And it turned into tolerance, then a small friendship, and now they finally achieved something no demon or angel thought could happen: best friends.

They became best friends, along with the wolf. They grew with each as kids into finally what they are today. Living in sillyvision being happy with the friendly chaos the town always gives each single day.

Sure, to get where they are today if wasn't easy (Alice's fall, for example.) But they sure are happy!

How would the studio react to another version Sammy? Like what if Ask Sillyvision (if you know that au) Sammy was just brought to the studio due to Joey's ritual shit and was stuck there for awhile, how would people react to that?

I do know that AU!

I feel like the studio wouldn't be all that fond of him, given his behavior earlier in that AU. He'd probably lash out a whole lot out of fear and the studio would not be happy about being verbally berated like that.

Other than him, I feel like it would depend on the AU for how the studio would react to another version of their Sammy.

“You alright, kiddo?”

“I… I think so…”

Luz hesitantly took his hand and allowed herself to be pulled up. Her knees and shoulders ached, and her hands and face stung from slamming down onto the wooden floor. One moment, she’d been lost in the woods with her friends, all scared and unsure, and the next moment, a crack in the earth had swallowed her and sent her down into a black abyss. She’d been separated from her friends, and from her Amity, and she was stuck here in this wood-laden room with an unfamiliar man that looked really odd now that she got a better look. What were those gloves and vest even for?

“No major injuries, right?” he asked, looking her over. This kid had a lot of tears and stains in her clothes- mud, blood, sweat- and she looked pretty rough around the edges…

“Just some soreness… But I’ll live,” she assured him, brushing her hair from her face. She untwisted her sleeves, grazing the tears in the fabric, and looked up at the man. He was trying to wipe something from his crackling vest- was it some kind of machine?

“…I’m Luz. Luz Noceda,” she introduced herself.

The brunette gave a little smile back at her.

“Chris Kratt. Nice to meet you.”

They didn’t shake hands, but Luz didn’t feel they needed to as her companion went to search around the room. For what, she didn’t know. Maybe a way out. She wouldn’t have been surprised; staying put wasn’t really an effective way to get back to wherever they both came from. Speaking of which- where were they in the first place? This wasn’t exactly ringing any bells in her own mind…

“…What is this place? Do you know?” she asked softly, glancing at the stained walls and splattered posters. There was something on them, but the dim light made it harder to read. Almost every inch of the room was stained black or dripping with that inky liquid… Was it ink? Luz wasn’t paying attention as Chris shook his head, picking up the forgotten axe.

“No idea. One minute I was in a time warp, the next minute I’m here…” he trailed off, taking a good, long look at the blade of the axe. He could see in the reflection of the metal, the scratches and the blotches on his face and clothes, the gentle glow from his broken suit. He looked a mess… But he’d be okay. He and Luz both- they’d get back to where they belonged and Aviva could fix his suit, and they could get Luz patched up.

They just had to figure out a way out of this place. He looked to the boarded up doorway behind them, near where the young girl had taken to investigating a poster on the wall. It was like an inked cartoon title card poster, with a little devil character in a tutu.

“Bendy in…The Dancing Demon,” she read aloud, squinting to see the bottom text. “‘Something’… Sillyvision. Weird…”

Definitely an odd title for a cartoon, Chris figured. He’d never heard of this Bendy or Sillyvision before. It sounded almost…made up.

“Luz, check where that way leads for me, will ya?”

“Aye aye, captain! …Oh, gross.”

The pathway led to a river of thick ink, dripping from the ceilings and the pipes and flowing like there was somewhere it could go. It was like it was just infinite… She turned back to Chris.

“All ink here.”

“Shoot… Well, let’s see what’s behind door number two.”

The brunette looked at the doorway before him. The door was all scratched and smeared and chipped away at. He wound up to strike the boards that blocked their path. Only one way to go now. And that was fine by him. With a grunt, he swung the axe as hard as he could, and the broken pieces of the boards clattered to the floor. He pulled the axe from where it had dug into the door, and opened the door to reveal… A fairly clear hall, leading downstairs from what he could see.

“Jackpot.”

How to Stop Tumblr From Resizing Images
