Finally sat down and read Justice for the Villainess and honestly I’m with this guy:

The emperor needs to fucking die. Very slowly, after getting every single one of his joints bashed in and then freezing to death in a cold windowless room surrounded by rats eating him alive.

Justice for the Villainess / Why would a Villainess have Virtue

Oh wow another ~revenge~ manhwa. *shocked pikachu face* Except instead of turning back time or reincarnation, it’s more “having the soul transferred into another body” so that’s different.  I’m mostly meh about this one. Even though it’s pretty fast-paced, I don’t really feel much ~catharsis~ as she slowly deals with her past. The overall plot is quite standard, though interesting enough. It’s just not quite my thing, sadly.  But it’s on Manta so I might as well use my subscription for more that just “Under the Oak Tree”. Lol 

Summary Our girl was the emperor’s assassin/possible love interest but once he ascended the throne, it was bye-bye time. After being imprisoned for 5 years, she finally escapes but nearly dies once she gets out. Luckily, our boy was there to save her. Surprise, he also wants the emperor dead. So he helps put her soul into one of his servants (don’t worry she volunteered) because that’s the ultimate ~disguise~. And of course, it’s even better if they both pretend to be in a relationship. 

Tropes   - (nearly) died and shifts souls into another body FOR REVENGE     - this is a totally FAKE and not at all real RELATIONSHIP   - just throw this whole empire away

- waaaaay stronger than she looks - cares more about revenge than her present life, so her feelings are still ??? - kind of sad how her previous relationship affects her current one, emperor you asshole

- it’s a *DUKE IN THE NORTH* with a furry cloak, except he was adopted so he’s just a count instead - secretly a ~*magic man*~ - totally in love already it’s so cute whenever he realizes 

Rating: It’s not bad if you’re bored and enjoy the tropes Status (as of 17 July 2022) Ongoing. Actually pretty fast-paced, but not to the point of being too rushed/unrealistic. She’s already gotten revenge on 1 out of her several targets. I’m following it every week because of my subscription but if I didn’t, I wouldn’t go out of my way to binge.

Shazam Billy Batson x Dani

Dani was already a few weeks outside of Amity Park, trying to find her own kind of thing. And as Danny sends her money, gold, or whatever she wants from the Ghost Zone, She didn't even have to look much for money or something similar.

So she started to be a villain, just as Danny was a hero. She wanted something else! And this way the After a short time, she had a new power.

To change from her child body to an adult body. That way, she is getting better at this, and her secret identity helped aloud.

Billy Batson, also known as Shazam or Captain Marvel, had no idea what to feel about the new thief in town.

On one hand She is a thief, and on the other, she steals from the evil rich. So what should he do? And as he found out, she was like a child in an adult body; he had no idea how to feel.

But over time, he found ways to have fun with her, fighting her and spending time with her in civilian form.

The gods told him he was in love and he should court her. But as a hero and a villain, he has no idea what to say. So Solomon told him to ask if it's okay to ask Batman.

So he asked Batman about what to do when he was in love. And Batman gave him permission to ask her on a date and follow his heart.

While in a battle with Phantom, Shazam said it loud and clear: "I love you! I knew from the first moment we met that you were the only one for me. I just needed to tell you that."

Dani was shocked as she blushed, let the stolen goods fall to the ground, and looked at the hero. "Wo wo wait! We are mortal enemies! Have you lost it!?"

Shazam wasn't sure what he did wrong. The people around them looked just as shocked. "I am perfectly sane."

Dani looked at him, unsure; she knew him as Billy, but she didn't think he would ask her as a hero after all, she is a villain." "Yeah, I am not buying it, your justice friends would be angry."

Billy: "No worry, Batman gave me permission, so no fear."

Dani stopped when she heard about Batman dating Villainess, so maybe he is telling the truth. And with one punch, she punched him to the ground as he crashed.".... Pick me up at 7 pm! And don't you dare to be late!" And then she escaped.

Billy is not sure: "So that was a yes?"

Civilians: " Yes, that was a yes. Get ready for your date, my boy!"

Billy really had a Pretty supportive city. After all.

The newspaper talked about the villainess and hero romance that Shazam was doing.

Oliver:" So... you want to explain?"

Diana:"Yeah, what were you thinking?"

Billy:" But Batman said it's okay... He gave me permission to follow my heart."

Danny doesn't accept that Dani is a villainess. So whenever someone says something about that he refuse to accept it.

I have somthing I really need to say, I don't get how FL could be popular, I mean if you think for a moment about it even OG Katarina is morally superior to the Heroine in Maria and all The Capture Targets in the story, I mean nothing against an Evil protagonist or a good antagonist, but than don't portray Katarina as a Villain and Maria as a hero ! That's wrong! Katarina leaves Maria completely alone in both the Nicole and Alan route, meaning she only opposed Maria when she's trying to seduce HER fiancée or mess with her family or do both in the Harem route!

Than the fact that she's accused of bullying those bellow her station is bulls* she only bullied Maria who I just said why she did it and Keith whose arrival at HER HOME turned HER PARENTS against eachother when she was a Child! That doesn't make it right but she couldn't know that this wasn't his fault, and his own original family wanted to kill him! Luigi saved his life and that's how he thanked him ?

than Geordo she gave almost half her life up to that point in complete support and devotion to that mother fu* and he swore an Oath to marry her! I don't think many people get how bad a possible future king breaking an Oath is especially considering Geordo's Grandpa's actions,

further more Katarina actually don't mistreated dose below her status, first her Maid Anne who despite being related to Nobility is herself a Commoner just like Maria and Katarina even in FL verse treats her like a Sister more than a servant!

Next there's Sianna, she's the bottom of the barrel of Nobility and still Katarina cherished her more than anyone else! This makes the claim of her bullying people for their status down right nonsensicaly!

Especially when she's the only one who never partake in bullying everyone's favorite Target Sophia Ascart, since we see in VOD is never once mentioned that she did so when Sophia joined her book club, that would have had to be brought up than ! Meaning is the only Noble Girl who didn't bully Sophia! (Except Marry) and it's even implied she discouraged others from bullying Sophia!

When Bakarina in verge of doom just assumed OG Katarina bullied more people and wanted to apologize during VoD judgment event no one spoke up! And that Is most likely because she never bullied anyone other than the Girl who tried to steal her fiancée and/or shame her family!

Also, it's said that Katarina's bullying was only on the very edge of Criminal, meaning she never really committed a crime, the one attacking Maria with fire was Noelia, who acted on her own accord!

Keith and/or Geordo basically rigged the Trial to get Katarina stripped of her status and exiled which is a way to hard punishment anyway! When she comes back with dark magic she didn't even kill someone for it! She just had it !

And that idiots in the development team must have believe that this made her appear more evil since she's just born with the "bad magic" but instead it just means she didn't kill anybody for it ! Right OG Katarina is not a murderer and the idiots of the FL development believed Katarina being NOT a murderer makes her more evil than people who literally commit murder to get the same magic! what does that say about their Character ?

I heard a lot about people saying something for a Original Katarina redemption arc and I really hope she gets an happy ending, she deserves it but what people need to understand is Original Katarina dosen't need an redemption arc because she has not done anything so bad that she deserved getting to that point anyway, instead she deserved a pretty enormous apology from Geordo, Keith and Maria

To give her a redemption arc basically means recognizing Maria, Geordo and Keith, Cheating, betraying,Oath breaking and manipulate a Chords to commit prejudice as a good thing, Original Katarina shouldn't have to apologize to them! They should have to apologize to her! Even when something like that calls for ways more than an apology! And first of all her entire sentence should be revoked !!!! + there has to be compensation for everything she had to go trough!!!

obsessed with justice for the villainess's slow, methodical approach to taking out the antagonists of the comic. like yeah the fantasy politics arent As Fleshed Out as they could be but there's still enough thought put into the customs of this kingdom and its politics that whenever Charlotte manages to ruin the reputation of one of her former 'friends' and orchestrate a death it's Absolutely Believable that the public would turn against them and not suspect murder
