I was rereading Kakegurui recently cause I finally got my hands on volume 13. And I had been reading a lot of DRV3 fanfics lately. Even though I refuse to play it. Or watch a playthrough of it. And So I put 2 and 2 together.
Yumeko would ABSOLUTELY CHOSE TO PARTICIPATE IN A KILLING GAME.
Like the 3 games never show how everyone else would be killed if someone graduates, but in each class trial, they are risking their lives. One could even say gambling with their lives. Yumeko would probably either be the second killer or a rival. After seeing her first execution, I can't see her waiting if she decides that trying to get away with murder would be an exciting risk. If she decides not to commit a murder she would absolutely do her best to mess with the murder scenes and the class trials. Cause while she wouldn't know how they would die if the blackened gets away with it, she knows she would die. And I can see her believing it would happen in an exciting risk.
With V3 claiming their talents were faked, I can't decide if they'd have her be her game's SHSL Gambler or not. But then again, since V3 supposedly changed the characters' personalities before dropping them in a killing game, the SHSL Yumeko probably wouldn't be so excited to risk her life..... Unless they keep her they way she is? Which would probably mean she's the mastermind. Though being the mastermind would probably be boring to Yumeno, though. Because she'd know who the killer is each time and it wouldn't be a fun gamble, because she would be able to lead them to the right answer probably and so the risk of her dying in any chapter but the last would be lower.....
I can't decide if Mary would participate for the status being a SHSL would give her, or if she'd be smart enough not to risk her life. I mean, she did become a housepet because of her ego and need for high status.
Midari would ABSOLUTELY be the first killer, and once the voting's over, she'd be delighted no matter the results.
I can see Kirari as a killing game mastermind. With each death, the students gamble with their lives, and I think that's something she would enjoy. I just can't decide if she'd be a Junko type mastermind - watching from afar or a Tsumagi type mastermind - in the middle of the action and risking her life, because unless she brainwashed/hypnotized them into there's always the risk that someone would try to kill her to get out.
If Kirari is Junko, that would make Ririka Mukuro. She'd at least be more successful in mimicking her twin. But neither of them could or would be interested in playing a fashionista, I think.... And I can't see Kirari choosing to play a ditz or play dumb. And I'm not sure Ririka COULD do so.
I also kinda think Sayaka would be a kind of Mukuro. Loyal to the mastermind, clearly a very different person from the girl who has her loyalty. But unlike Mukuro, the person Sayaka gave her loyalty to actually gives a shit about her.

Kakegurui Twin live action is better than the anime.
I almost said "unequivocably", but the anime does have some personal preference advantages:
More Sado (voiced by Aoi Koga!!!) being a delightful bratty sub
Tsuzura is more overtly gay
Dating game (and therefore Kurume showing up at all, and that stinger of them not eating shawarma)
But those are all little delights. The live-action is just undeniably more unified as a story, as well as having a lot of small details that the faithful-adaptation anime production doesn't have the logistics to address.
Tsuzura, Yukimi, and Miharutaki have stronger personalities. Ikuta Erika especially turned in a great performance as Miharutaki that gave her character more pathos. Meanwhile, Tsuzura and Yukimi had a lot more body language and dialogue rhythm that made them more vibrant and distinct. The writing also tweaked the finale game to give them more of a hand in the winning solution. The core three girls (Mary, Tsuzura, and Yukimi) have a lot more banter and shenanigans to reinforce their relationship.
The story was tweaked to have a greater focus on the Zenshokai and everyone's motivations in it. This means that plenty of game and plot elements gained additional character relevance, where in the source material and anime, they were plot-neutral initiatives by Juraku and Sado that may have been paid off later in the manga.
Mary herself is enhanced by there being no constraints on facial expressions, dialogue rhythm, body language. At the end of the season, we get to see Mary in the present day, and so are able to see just how differently Morikawa Aoi was playing the character, yet also the throughline of what hasn't changed. They even added a new gimmick/running gag, in Mary continually asking for 10 seconds to consider things, which keeps gaining more and more relevance and payoff over the course of the season.
In general, the pacing for the live action is better by way of adding way more dialogue. More banter, more personality, more rhythm, more comedy, more characterization, more relationship dynamics, all of that adds up to a higher rate of me guffawing and professing my love for the show per second.
Finally, the show uses a framing device to allow for cameos from present-day characters. Itsuki's cameo was particularly delightful. And dunking on Jun all day every day, hell yeah.
None of this is to say that the anime is bad. It's good! It's fun! The anime is a solid 7. It's just that the live action attention to so many little enhancing details simply takes it one level further, to an 8.
Honestly, I like the live action for main line Kakegurui better, as well, but that's more of a balanced fight, where it's my personal preference tipping the scale. I like the live action's focus on individualism/collectivism themes more, but it's a real tradeoff against the anime's delightful psychosexual elements. Anime Twin didn't have nearly as much of that psychosexual part (evidenced by its squeaky clean OP and ED) to balance against the live action. In addition, where the main line anime covered more of the manga material (as the live action went to movies instead), live action Twin covered more material than anime Twin, which has 2 less episodes and one less game.

Two Sentence Review Catch Ups:
Escaping Twin Flames: Internet cults are spooky and the fact that people are not taught lateral reading so they're on the rise is just as spooky. Forcing people to be trans is horrifying. 6/10
One Piece Live Action Show: Dropped after a few episodes. The acting is corny but the visual effects are fine, at least as far in as I watched. 4/10
Bee and Puppycat: Part 1: Put on hold after Episode 12. I don't understand how the voice acting and animation got worse when they switched from an indie production to a big scale one. Bee in particular sounds so tired and blase in almost every line delivery that it makes her sound bored which makes me feel bored watching this. ???/10
Hoarders Season 12: Hoarders is a guilty pleasure of mine. Nothing deep, it's just interesting to me. 5/10
You can find my further attempts to catalogue the visual media I watched this year on my Letterboxd, MyAnimeList, and for books I've got a Goodreads.
