A long and convoluted Bakugou-centric angst fic nearly a year in the making. Featuring Aizawa and Yamada in their parental roles as well as a slow-burn relationship between Bakugou, Kirishima, and Midoriya. The first part of what will inevitably be a long series of angst and love. Remember: no matter how badly it hurts, it will turn out in the end. Tags will be added/altered as needed. Update: I'm not dead and am still in the Smiling Friends fandom! :D I've been working on a very elaborate request, an angsty charpim comic, which has taken up a lot of my time. I'm making good progress on it and should be able to post again soon.

Hello everyone! I have two bits of new today! The first is that chapter 146 will be releasing on September 13th in Japan, as opposed to the usual 15th, and the chapter name is "Simply Thinking," Mahiru (and Tooru's) catchphrase! The official account has also stated that after this, we only have FOUR MORE CHAPTERS remaining! I am... Not ready!

The second piece of news is that the preorder bonus can badge set illustrations for volume 22 have been revealed, and they include a brand new illustration of Tsubaki!

the dreaded post i have to make… i’ve been putting it off because i want to be wrong but ultimately uh. warning must be given

i do not know if i’ll be able to post chapter 6 on time :/ things have been super busy these past couple weeks and i have also had to rewrite it like five times to get the right flow, so i am not sure i’ll have it finished and ready by saturday 💔

i’ll continue updating on here as i get things written and edited, but right now the chapter (much to my dismay) isn’t even finished. we’re at uhh 1.5k words? i think? and there’s a little bit more i want to add before i can move on to chapter 7. so please bear with me, i promise i’ll get it posted ASAP!

(i am also starting work tomorrow so that has its pros and cons—i will be busier, but it will also give me structure/routine so i might also be more productive when it is time to write. still a bit up in the air, just be patient with me 🧡)
