in the past week or so ive seen a lot of people posting about how there's this oversexualization of trans girls on the site, and I gotta agree, there are way too many people (including other trans women!) who act like we're all dtf 24/7 or always super kinky and horny. I've been tired of that stereotype for ages and i am saying this as a rather sexual trans girl myself...

...but I think people are overcorrecting a bit now, and are starting to veer into "trans women shouldnt be talked about sexually / need to be shielded from it" territory. and, to me, that's really dangerous, because outside of some queer spaces - and even within them- the sexuality of trans girls is heavily scrutinized, as is attraction to us. as much as I dislike certain aspects of the memes and jokes that kickstarted the stereotypes, I'm kinda grateful for them as well. girldick jokes helped with my bottom dysphoria, voice kink shit helped me like my voice, and the whole "tgirl tummy tuesday" thing gave me a lot of confidence in my body where I hated it before. I think this open appreciation of trans sexiness has done a lot for both me and others on tumblr.

again, obviously its got its problems - people end up assuming every trans girl is horny, or only spread positivity if its related to sex with us, and of course the people who do have dysphoria from the things that are being sexualized are left out (like those the "girls without dicks are like angels without wings" memes, ugh, feels icky every time). and on the note of comparing tgirls to angels, we also started getting treated like we're ethereal fertility goddesses and that t4t sex was some inherently sacred ritual. spoiler alert, trans girls are normal-ass people and t4t sex can be holy for the participants but its generally a pretty normal thing to do as well

coming back to the "don't sexualize trans girls" posts now, I think they were initially going in the right direction, but at this point I'm starting to raise an eyebrow at more than a few of them. I'm not gonna whip out the "youre a sex hating puritan if you post about it" accusation because that is obviously wrong but again, I think people are definitely overcorrecting and starting to turn this into a (false) dichotomy when it's not. its a complex topic and each individual trans woman will feel differently about it.

(I feel like the internet just erases any nuance in favor of a two-sided, highly polarized flamewar with unrealistic views on both sides. actually i wouldn't even say this is a super-nuanced discussion because its really not that hard to say "fetishization is bad, but so is suppression of sexuality". will this post just end up being a void scream and people will continue drawing lines between one side and the other? probably. but I am a stubborn bitch and I have hope that we can be reasonable.)

anyways I'll close this off by saying that I wrote this between around 1:30 and 2 AM on terrible sleep the night before, that I hope what I said is coherent enough, and that I will keep being a trans girl who is openly sexual, gets horny over other trans women, and is proud to be transsexy as fuck. he loves pet names. i feel like he would use them for call his so ALL the time but when he wants to start a serious conversation.

if his so isn’t american, he would probably try to learn their culture and maybe also their language (he would absolutely learn pet names in said language because he finds cute how his lover react when he uses them). knowing him, he would probably learn the new language easily, and would be also good at it. with his accent, yes, but with proper grammar and vocabulary. he also would like to visit his so’s country both to see where they grew up and to see the biggest attractions said country offers (i am italian, and i usually picture this with him visiting my small and empty town but also milan, rome, venice, florence, naples etc.).

he chose his s.t.a.r.s. career over his umbrella’s one. in re0 he’s defined something like «practical Al», so i think that despite liking biology and generally science, he would find himself more comfortable with a career where he can spend his energies in a constructive way.

he’s rich, but doesn’t like bragging about it. he has a big house, a very nice car but tends to live very simply, spoiling himself just for particular occasions. that can’t be said for his so, who he likes spending money on. like, they would be so embarrassed because they would feel like using him, while he’s like that meme that goes «i like seeing women spending my money». after a while he just decides to not going through the same process of «you really don’t have to» and starts to buy things and then make them appear between his lover’s properties. he loves buying them clothing he thinks they would look good into.

he’s jealous af. he doesn’t throw jealousy fits in public, but when he feels someone is trying to get too close to his so (like someone getting flirty in public), he would magically appear near them, slipping his hand around their waist and kissing their head. and if he feels like they’re getting closer than he likes to someone, he would probably just go berserk on them, throwing them on the bed and reminding them whose person they are property of.

with jealousy it comes also possession. he loves to show everyone that they are his. so in public he would probably always have his arm around their waist or his hand on their knee.

he’s a dom. also a pretty kinky one. despite not disliking sweet and tender sex, he like an animalistic one more. he has many kinks (breeding, cnc, dacryphilia, bondage and i could go on for hours) and likes experimenting. but he’s also very attentive to his lover, makes sure they have a safe word for anything (also non-verbal ones) and that they are always having a good time. his after care is very simple, but he makes sure his lover is cleared and that they know it was all an act. he likes submission, but also like people who rebel: he’s definitely a brat tamer.

he is extremely sensitive to light, this is why he wears sunglasses. he takes them off only in his office and in his home, both places where the blinds are shut and the lights are very dim.

🦗Do you write in sequence or jump around?

I used to be Very Strict about only writing in order, but I started letting myself jump around ~two years ago and WHAT A GAME CHANGER, IT HAS SAVED MY WRITING LIFE!!!!!

I get so much more written by jumping around, because when inspiration hits for a scene I can actually take advantage. it makes my writing so much better when I have not just an outline for What's To Come but specific scenes written that I can write towards and mirror very intentionally with word choice, lines of dialogue etc. jumping around when writing multichap fic has made my vision for the whole thing clearer, my choices more deliberate, and—most importantly—it's made it more fun. because I actually get to write the fun parts that inspire me!! instead of torturing myself by dangling the good bits as a carrot of something I might theoretically one day get to write!

(general you, the writer reading this, try it. give yourself permission. if it's not for you, you've still learned something about your process. but if you've never tried and think "oh I could never write that way," I would have said that once too. but tbh if I'd let myself do this earlier, it would have made everything SO much better and I would have gotten so much more done. just experiment so you Know if it's really for you or not)

yes but they're waaaaay less Curated than if I were making a fanmix. my writing playlists are not "here's a highly selective 12-song playlist with lyrics and music that fit and that come together to tell a story musically" as with fanxmies. they are "I need a 13-hour playlist that's Vibes Only that I can put on shuffle and have the right ambiance for whatever I'm working on."

I've got specific ones for all my different Boardwalk AUs, then one for generic grishaverse writing purposes, and I think "sexy" speaks for itself

50s au: honestly not that long, I don't have that much 50s music

Focus au: ~7 hours. the great gatsby (2013) soundtrack is actually perfect vibes. plus a lotta amy winehouse, lana, etc. anything that feels humid and sultry

Grishaverse: ~24 hours. not fic-specific but works for anything in that fandom. I've got the shadow and bone soundtrack, the lotr soundtrack, a lot of florence, anything that has light/darkness imagery, anything that feels Bigger in a high-fantasy, fate-of-the-world way

High School au: ~24 hours. basically all pop music circa like 2008–2012 and some pop punk. whatever makes me feel Teenagery again. also functions as a fun nostalgia playlist

Hunger Games au: ~9 hours. as many soundtracks from the movies as I could get from my local library, plus anything folk-y and sad (the civil wars, etc)

Sexy: ~2 hours, not necessarily songs about sex, just songs that Are Sensual musically or kinda kinky bc let's be real about what I'm writing

also it's not a saved playlist, but I've been writing a lot of Edwardian-set stuff lately, so for that I'll go on spotify and put on early 20th-century English composers like Gustav Holst and Ralph Vaughn Williams and let the algo take it from there

56. What’s something about your writing that you pride yourself on?

I am kinda proud of my characterization. Obviously it works for me because I write how I see the characters, but yk, I think I do a decent job of capturing their voices as well. I also take pride in my descriptive metaphors and details, because I spent a long time feeling inadequate when it comes to description, and it took a lot of work before I figured out how to describe stuff in a way that I both enjoy writing and think works.

63. Something you hate to see in smut.

Pure opinion and personal taste here, but squirmy awkward inexperienced shy emotionally overwhelmed nervous reluctant (unless it's deliberately dubcon) etc bottoms and cool suave tops, in any gender configuration (though I don't like to apply the words top and bottom to het couples, but ykwim.) I don't fault anyone for liking that dynamic, it's popular for a reason, but few things turn me off faster.

Also, because I feel like I probably complain about that too much lol, I get bored quick by scenes that feel like they're following a safe sex guide. Kinda refers back to my desire for more smut scenes that feel IC and unique rather than generic. There are no actual hard and fast rules for sex beyond 'communicate enough to be on the same page' and 'don't kill or permanently maim anyone.'

And especially on that note my biggest smut safe sex pet peeve is characters using safewords during vanilla or mildly kinky sex, because that's just pure 'read a guide on safe sex and didn't actually understand it.' 'Stop,' is your safeword if you're not doing edgeplay or rape roleplay, and it's not only weird to suggest that 'stop' is somehow inadequate during regular old sex and you need a special codeword instead, it's kinda bad? Like, the reason people use safewords during edgeplay is because 'stop' or 'no' is too easy to say automatically and you need an additional mental barrier so you're actively making the choice to stop a scene, rather than it slipping out because of the intensity of what's happening. But you don't need or want an additional mental barrier between you and your ability to communicate your desire to stop during most sex.

(Also constantly checking for consent stops being considerate and starts looking kinda coercive and/or painfully insecure at a point lol. Why all the checks? Does the sub's body language seem reluctant? Why is the dom not beginning a real conversation in that case, but simply pressing for yesses over and over? That's the vibe I get. Okay now I'm done complaining about "safe sex" in fic lol.)

28. On average, how much writing do you get done in a day?

On average, like 10 words lol, I don't write every day and often the little writing I do manage is like a paragraph in a notebook by my pillow. If I'm writing a new idea and I'm on a roll, I can maybe manage 1.5-2k? But that dries up quick. If I'm actively working on something ongoing, I'll probably manage like 500-1k words per dedicated session, but that's def not every day.

16. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Share one of them?

I'm thinking about 9ish? I mentioned one here, but I'll share another: a Henry/Johnny undercover as gay The Sting fic where the twist is that it's not Henry and Johnny playing lovers for a con, it's Henry and an old lover while Johnny plays third wheel and lowkey seethes with jealousy.

I don't ship Grilo either but yk what? As long as you tag thinks properly it's fine. I see nothing wrong with for exaple shipping a much older Shilo with Graves. I prefer to think of them as friends or having a brother/sister bond but I also believe people can ship whatever they want as long as it's properly tagged. Same reason why we love Luigi for example. He's a murderous asshole. He stabs people 24/7. Does that mean I accept or condone that irl? No! Do I support stabbing people irl? Hell no. It's wrong. But it's fiction so it's okay to like Luigi.

Warnings for mildly disturbing content, but if you saw Hey, Melissa you already know what you’re in for. & if not, then I guess warnings for kidnapping, torture, dub-con, & pet play (yeah this is one of the weirder nightmare time episodes)

So yeah, just so y’all know what you’re getting into

So when Melissa sees that Paul’s not really interested in her, she sets her sights on an easier target: Ted. She plays along with his flirting & invites him over with plans of keeping him

He takes her to dinner & while he’s in the bathroom, she drugs him to make things easier on herself. She strips him like we see in the episode & I feel like for the first time that he wakes up, he’s just tied up with a leash instead of in the cage. At first he thinks this is just some very kinky & abrupt foreplay, but the way she’s talking so sternly & seriously lets him know that it’s more serious than he thought. He starts apologizing for everything he’s said & done to her & she just keeps shushing him & telling him to “stop barking”

Replace the taser with a shock collar to keep him in line. & instead of, um, that fucked up shit she did to his fingers, she took a sharpie or some paint & drew on the paw beans. She was especially cruel when she got to his feet, ignoring his begging & cooing at him like the “cute puppy he is” & just kept asking if he had ticklish paws

If she catches him walking around, trying to use his hands, or other “human stuff” she uses the shock collar

From there, it’s a lot of the same stuff with keeping him locked up & feeding him dog food

Melissa finally manages to trick Paul into coming over & she manages to knock him out & put a collar on him & everything. Paul still remembers that she likes cats & meows trying to be set free, but really it doesn’t change too much. He still gets the bean treatment because this version isn’t painful. Since he’s a cat, I feel like she’d also draw whiskers

It took a few days for Ted to find where she hid his phone, but he had a ton of missed calls & texts from Peter asking where the fuck he is & he’s already got a missing person case for him (not that they give a shit, this is Hatchetfield, people go missing every day!) but he calls him & tries to explain what happened. Peter is freaking out & says he’s gonna call the police & Ted tells him not to because then it’ll end up in the papers & all over the news & “he’d rather be dead in some chick’s apartment than the laughing stalk of Hatchetfield” & says he’ll make it out on his own “when the time is right” whatever the hell that means

Peter is worrying himself to death & his friends are just laughing it up making jokes & memes at every opportunity

It’s all fun & games until Richie’s uncle goes missing SHUT UP GUYS IT’S NOT FUNNY!

Melissa still invites her friends over to play with her new “pets” & this time they tie them up to make sure they can’t get away (they have plans & they know they’ll get too squirmy)

& yeah Ted’s Ted so he kinda wants to see where this is going because hey, this many girls have never wanted him at once! But on the other hand paw, Melissa is fucking crazy & he wants to escape with Paul, he just wants these girls to have some fun first

The girls are so fucking teasy it’s unreal, & they brought some tools to help them like those fluffy cat toys, (keeping with the theme I see) makeup brushes, feathers, electric toothbrushes, etc. to keep the fun going!

It starts out slow & simple enough with the girls cooing & stroking them. Paul is scrunching up & trying hard not to giggle, but Ted doesn’t have the same luck because of course where do they fucking go first? His belly

Ted holds out for as long as he can, but their touches are light & they have long nails & it’s just so much harder than it looks! & once they get one laughing the others wanna hear Paul break down & they get him to crack when they bring out the feathers

When Paul giggles they’re like “awww listen to the kitty purr!” & while they tickle Ted’s stomach & he undoubtedly thrashes around, they tease him like he’s a dog shaking his leg & just ask repeatedly “aww you poor thing, does that tickle? Did we find your tickle spot?”

They play around with the different tools they brought & all the while just baby them like they’re cute little sensitive pets. & trust me, they take their time & they make sure to make their teases as flustering as possible. Melissa even has “muzzles” gags for when they get “too loud”

The girls eventually get bored & watch a movie or something & end up falling asleep. In their earlier excitement, Melissa didn’t latch the ton of locks on the front door, & they managed to escape

When they finally get back to work, they’re both SO jumpy around Melissa is hilarious. & they’re both trying to warn Bill & he doesn’t believe them at all because she just seems like such a sweet, normal, innocent girl!

& like I said, I’m a paulkins truther, so in my version Paul doesn’t come crawling back to be her poor little meow meow. Ted might tho, he’s gotta think it over first
