Canon tanthamore moments people don’t talk about enough because the show is not dead yet.

In almost every shot where something happens that’s cool or new they look at each other first. Every time. Sometimes it’s a judgemental “are you seeing this shit?” A worried “are you okay?” Or “what have we gotten into.” Sometimes it’s a happy “how fucking cool is it we’re finally having adventures together” neeedless to say on your next rewatch look for it. It’s so cute

The fact that Jade let kit win not because she thought kit wasn’t capable, but because she sees herself as kits protector and she wanted to shoulder that burden for her princess

Boorman saying I ship it at any given moment

Graydon being COMPLETELY oblivious to the obvious sexual tension between kit and Jade. I’m convinced when we get a season two that they’d save Graydon and he’d see them kiss and be like wait what??

That when they thought they had to kill Graydon Jade was completely ready to do it so Kit wouldn’t have to

Are we just gonna gloss over the fact that Kit Tanthalos getting hit with a throwing star and reacting by screaming and falling over was the funniest part of season 1?

Willow (2022) is a live-action game of D&D

- Willow is the learned old wizard, always giving valuable life lessons and yelling at the others for being too impulsive

- Elora Danan is a true sorcerer, born with her powers

- Thraxus Boorman is a treasure-hunting, sweet-talking rogue-barian who any man, woman, or enby would swoon for (you can tell me to “thraxus relaxus” any day)

- Kit Tanthalos is a noble fighter that basically switches to a paladin with an oath to protect Elora Danan. also she’s gay as hell

- Jade Claymore (c’mon, the name alone) is a paladin with an oath to protect Kit. also she’s gay as hell

- Graydon is the party’s bard, always saying an encouraging word and building their spirits with his magic flute

- the Crone is the first story arc’s BBEG with the Wyrm as the campaign’s overarching BBEG

Things I need to see in Willow season 2 (were manifesting it bitches)

I need to see Jade get hurt protecting kit, And then a role reversal where kit has to be soft and take CARE of her (AUGH I’m such a slut for hurt/comfort)

I need kit struggling to figure out how to take off the cuirass, freak out, give up and then Jade figuring out how to close it immediately.

I need to meet Boorman’s mother. They mentioned it twice. It feels like foreshadowing

I’d like to see kit and Eloras friendship still be a little rocky but continue to develop. I don’t want them to so starkly go from hating each other to being besties.

I really wanna see more of the twins relationship because honestly I really didn’t buy Airks character in season 1. I completely forgot the quest was about saving him. So I think if they move away from a romance arc with Elora and instead develop kit and his relationship it’ll make him a much more compelling character to me.

I’d also like to see jade and Airk interact, because I feel like jade has been important enough to kits life that at this point he sees her as another sister. I also feel like their relationship is combative as hell and it’ll be so funny.

I’d kinda like to see kit come out to Airk or Sorsha or both. With Airk it would be a funny moment because he’d be like “yeah no shit. You and Jade are not subtle.” then with Sorsha I really need a moment where Sorsha finally sees kit for who she is and acknowledges it not in a hallucination.

Just the whole dark Graydon arch. I think it’s gonna be so good, but they need to save him because him and Elora are end game. I will be upset if Elora ends up with Airk. Also it sets up a possible redemption arc if they save him and I’m a slut for redemption arc’s.

I need to know if Mims is okay. Because I feel like their foreshadowing a burning of the shire situation but That might be too dark for Disney. it could have also been willows doubt and the crone trying to make him afraid. I do think the burning of the shire is more narratively significant tho.

I need to know what the fuck is up with Grayson’s dad because he’s shady

It would defo be cool to see madmartigan, but I look forward to it specifically for kits reaction. It’s gonna be a gut punch in the best way possible.

BABY JADE FLASHBACK!! I cannot stop thinking about her little red curls 🥺. And maybe more baby kit and Airk on the side.

Moral of the story is I need a season 2. Please Disney. PLEASE!! 🙏
