Oh to be a little gay detective who speaks in a preposterous accent and occasionally slips out of it to hint at how ridiculously funny he is as a character within the literary imagination.
Oh to be able to stand up for women who have been belittled by the unkind and the privileged, to be a cerebral force that unfailingly outwits the malevolent and the ignorant.
Oh to have Hugh Grant as my dreamboat partner, who stress bakes every now and then, who I had proposed to with some exceedingly goofy pun (like “only you can fill the Blanc in my life”), who answers the door all messy and covered in flour as I am attending a zoom call in my bathtub in my eccentric little Moroccan hat.
Oh to be Benoit Blanc.

Girlie I am TEMPTED by these piercing/tattoo artist thots I keep seeing.
Imagining such a dominant, tatted up fellow being so kind about your first tattoo, jokingly calling you a 'virgin' to the process, flirtatiously looking at you as they clean the needle and rub your skin with alcohol. They ask you to "sit nice and pretty-- I mean still" for them, resting a hand on your thigh while they hold the needle to your arm. Or even if you were coming back to do a cover-up of a previous tattoo, one with your ex's name. They give you such kind sympathy, asking you rather invasively about how the breakup occured, and gleefully smiling as they begin to draw over your past lover's name. You might ask them how many tattoos they have, where they might be-- and they give you such a cocky little grin, calling you naughty and asking "why? do you wanna see?"
When you wince or cry out from the needle hitting a particularly sensitive spot, they give your thigh a tight squeeze, saying how you're being so good, taking it so well. They almost sound perverted in the way they talk-- you wonder if this is how they address ALL their clients. But you can't help to feel butterflies in your stomach when they look up at you from time to time, giving a cheeky smile and licking their lips. They poke out their pierced tongue from between their soft, full lips when they concentrate extra hard on their work, a cute habit you can't help but notice when your gaze once again falls to them. A gaze they seem to keep catching. And as embarrassing as it becomes, they don't stop trying to catch your eyes.
Not to mention, they seem to unconsciously stroke at you-- on your inner arm, your shoulders, your knee- any place they rest their hand during the process. Afterward, they cheer for you for finishing the process, clasping their hands together and saying how you deserve such a good reward for being so calm. Your reward? Why, another decoration of course! A tattoo or piercing of your choosing, this time free of charge. You almost reject the offer, feeling quite worn out from how much they purposely make your heart race. But they plead with you, saying how they hardly have such cute, well-behaved customers.
And so, you comply. After all, how much harm could it be? Little do you know, they'll be putting their personal number in your phone by the end of the session, telling to call anytime you have questions or want a new appointment. It's just their policy regarding regulars! And after two different sessions, you're now considered a regular. Though, it appears someone may end up calling you, more than you calling them.

Knives Out Vs. Glass Onion: Aesthetics in Storytelling
The Beniot Blanc cinematic universe is masterclass in using aesthetic to convey a story and I have so many thoughts! Let's look at all the clever ways Rian Johnson and his production team used aesthetic to enhance these movies. Both Knives Out and Glass Onion rely on aesthetic choices to define their shared universe, round out their characters, and clue us in early on about the mysteries being told.
