my stance on k/k is that the Haruhi Suzumiya novels are a charming, enjoyable genre blend of romance, sci-fi, and magical realism. Koizumi is a sparkling mixer to the heady main story as our main explicator and expositionist. He's a well-spoken narrator who verbalizes the more complex concepts at play in the stories, making them a summer cocktail rather than a stiff shot. Kyon is the trope-defining sardonic narrator who gives shape to the story and is the one to ultimately sell the Haruhi Suzumiya series to us as the reader. Between the two of them, Koizumi and Kyon tell us the story of Haruhi and they are instrumental in what we-the-audience make of events. Their dynamic between the true believer and the sceptic, the fake smile and the fake frown, the obfuscator and the denier, is great just on its own when taken at face value. I'm quite content to just read them as two characters who don't like each other very much and whose relationship is limited to mild antagonism over a girl they both love. I would do just that, if Tanigawa Nagaru wanted it. However in the year of our lord 2020, after closing the Kyon/Yuki subplot, after jossing any Kyon/Mikuru speculation, after committing fully to the Kyon/Haruhi romance in the story, he writes Koizumi having psychic foreknowledge of Kyon's measurements and expects us to make nothing of it. Huh.

I wanna hear your thoughts of "Kyon's Little Sister" who deserved to have a name
she really does deserve a name! why doesn't she have one. was there ever a popular fandom name for her or anything? give her a name!
another one with very few bingos, but i didn't really expect more this time. kyon's sister is very cute, and a fairly average little kid, but what little we see of her is (obviously) heavily filtered by kyon's perspective and just not a lot overall
i like her, but she doesn't occupy a ton of my thought-space. i would like to see her a little more often, though!

REVERSE 01 ↺: hi, i love you
wriothesley x fem!reader smau
now playing: niki — take a chance with me
That's life basically.... although Wriothesley is quite literally the biggest fish in the sea, known as the the biggest catch, the lengths you go through to get him still brings shock to people's faces. It only gives one the hypothesis that your obsession love you have for this man runs deep.
But if only they knew... oh okay tmi!!!
"Interesting..." you see Charlotte peeking through your phone—this gossip! you snatched her notes:
'Wriothesley Craze! Life from an Obsessed Fan's perspective'
You then began tearing it to pieces much to her whining and crying. With that, classes began, you open your notebooks with pictures full of him and his defined biceps.
His big game will be next week and you will make sure, oh you will ABSOLUTELY make sure, you will scream and cheer the loudest. After all, seeing his dangerous smirk and his relaxed glare, you're already giddy and focus gone while imagining as the teacher calls you much to your uninterested sigh. This killjoy.
Just as you were about to sleep, the most important notification posted. Ding!
And just like that another picture to be printed. Your innocent teenage crush on this man was taking quite the toll on your mental health, but he's just... he's so perfect.
You can't seem to describe it, but there was no part in you that don't approve of your actions. And even if every valentines he rejects you, or every christmas he puts aside your gifts. Just being on his side, just knowing his thoughts it was enough for you.
This life was enough for you. He was enough.
Hours passed and you finish all your homeworks quietly in the school library. Many have this stereotype that the duke has your whole heart, but that was not true at all.
At least, now when you're doing homework or with your friends.
After all everyone has their limit to desires, everything breaks once its pivotal point is shattered.
But as you schedule the big game in your calendar, you knew it won't be having anytime soon as you read 'Pride and Prejudice' and imagine him as Darcy who'll beg for forgiveness for his constant ignoring and rejecting!
Maybe one day he'll have to do this constant chase, and you'll be:
"Your selfish disdain for the feeling of others made me realize that you were the last man i could ever be prevailed upon to marry!"
You clench your fist to the sky as you deliver it like an oscar-winning actress with a posh and a british accent. In an embarassing moment you looked around to see if anyone saw you in the act, but only the winds and crickets answered back. Thank God.
With that thought, giggles emitted as you exit the library to your home, day over. But little did you know the oldest saying in the book, the walls... have ears.
———————————[ 01 —↺— 02 ]———————————
the whole campus knows about your 3 year crush on the student body president and basketball captain wriothesley. you were fine with his constant ignoring and rejections until something happened, until you stopped, and a reverse took place... now he won't leave you alone.

EPISODE 9 ✦ PRES? ARE YOU OKAY?
LOVE, MAYBE — A CHILDE SMAU
masterlist / prev ep / next ep / wc: 495.
cw: mentions of parents arguing (nothing too descriptive), reader cries (sorry its for the plot that reader goes through it in this smau erm)
the cold wind kissed your cheeks as you slowly walked in the streets. with nothing but the street lights and a few stray cats accompanying you on your spontaneous night walk, it still felt quite lonely.
you were used to it—the fighting, the raised voices, the hushed cries your mother makes because of the argument that occurred. it was nothing new to you; it was simply something that you had to get used to. it wasn’t like the other cheated; it was more like they just… fell out of love as their marriage went on. they noticed each other’s flaws more in their marriage lives, and they eventually couldn’t find the love that started blooming before. it wilted before it could even reach it’s full bloom.
sometimes you wonder if they would’ve been happy if they didn’t have children. not because you hated your existence—but because having children is a huge responsibility. and it would cost quite a lot too. if neither of you nor nicolette were born, would they be happier? would they still be in love? you probably won’t know the answer to that.
a stray cat approaches you and stops right before your feet. it started nuzzling its head by your feet, the cold feeling of its fur rubbing against your skin. kneeling down to pet it, you sighed. “you probably have it hard too, huh? i wonder how life could be cruel to a cute little guy like you,” you said as you petted it. the cat just meows in response.
sure, you were what they called “a hopeless romantic," but honestly? there are times when you doubt if love is even real. you do accept that love is a wonderful and beautiful thing, because it is! however, maybe it’s not for you. because seeing what could’ve been a precious and everlasting love break with your own two eyes as a child is already enough reason for you to doubt the whole concept of love in itself.
the cat soon leaves you and you continue on with your walk. you didn’t wanna go back just yet. because if you did, you might as well feel suffocated by the bad tension between your parents for the rest of the night.
maybe it’s just the fact that everything feels overwhelming for you at the moment but you didn’t know when you started to cry. you didn’t realize that there were already a few tears rolling down your cheeks as you continued to walk. and the cold weather of the night isn’t helping because it just makes your nose clog up even more.
as you wipe your tears away, you didn’t expect to hear a question you really needed.
“pres? are you okay?”
you stopped in your tracks and looked up. it was none other than tartaglia once again. and you cursed yourself for letting him see you in such a vulnerable state at some hour in the night.
“what are you doing here?”

➡ 𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐊𝐎 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐉𝐈
A man that likes to investigate and nurture himself with the changing culture of the world of the living had discovered what porn is. And hell, what a breakthrough it has been for him.
Headphones and that little device Ichigo’s classmate gave to him, himself resting over his red sofa, believing the many boxes of vinyl discs protect him from the rest of the room. The phone plays the video of a busty red-haired woman moaning, being totally pleasured by a faceless man. He watches such video with great attention as he beats his own meat to the sounds of that girl’s whines.
Shinji’s smile grows wider, but his eyes are closed shut. Total bliss as he keeps jerking off, perhaps imagining the actress is jumping over his sex. And you are watching at a total unaware captain from behind. He didn’t hear you calling, nor he has noticed your presence.
You don’t mind watching, because you are sure he actually would love to know you have been. And just as he finally bursts, and his neck stretches in total pleasure you decide to take his headset off.
“Is that device able to record video?” you ask, hugging him from behind.
Shinji laughs nervously, you have surprised him and even if he tries for his almost yellow locks to cover his blushed cheeks you’ve seen the shame in his eyes.
“I- I think yes” he answers, confused, and still agitated.
“Stay right there, let’s recreate the video…”
➡ 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐎 𝐔𝐊𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄
Does he really masturbate? Surely he does. He is a man with desires too.
But have you ever thought about him doing it? Probably not… even if you did think of him while doing it.
It’s normal to you to hear him grunt and moan in his sleep, but it’s nothing but his difficulty to breathe. You are not supposed to be taking care of him; however, you do. The same way Kyone and Sentaro do, you provide welfare to him.
Jushiro fleeted you to your quarters, but, you decided to stay close to his room. He had been coughing more than usual, and his skin seemed a little more blushed during the times you were around. The last thing you want for him is to run a high fever and have no one to help him. But… what type of fever is the long-haired captain running? Perhaps, it was some kind of internal heat that couldn’t be stopped by any meds…
You hear him cough, and then whine. Like a plead, his last moan sounds. And you are sure he is not just sleeping, Jushiro must feel really bad. And you decide to act.
“Ukitake Taicho! Are you ok??” you move the curtain away to his room to discover he actually was more than ok.
His green eyes widen; he looks at you with his mouth open from the side. He is completely naked in front of you, with his hard shaft in between his slender fingers, he is covered in sweat, with his hair a little dishevelled.
“(Name)-chan! wha- what- what are you doing h-ere?!! I thought I was alone!” he asks scandalized as you turn around to cover your eyes with your hands. You can’t ignore the beautiful image of his almost white skin subtly bathed by the warm flame of a candle, and the fact that his moans were motivated by pleasure.
“I’m sorry… Ukitake Taicho. I stayed here in case you felt bad, you seemed blushed during the day, and I was scared you might be running a fever…”
“I wasn’t sick, (Name)-chan… I’m not used to have you near me for so long” he whispers, as you hear him standing up. His wide frame rises behind you, one of his hands rest now over your shoulder. “It’s just you…” he mumbles, so soft and caring, but so sexy and arousing.
A smirk curls up your lips while you close the curtain and let him pull you, drag you… to sin…
➡ 𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈 𝐙𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐊𝐈
You can’t tell me you simply “caught” him.
There is no way you weren’t abducted by his manly grunts to look.
“You lose no time, huh? Yachiru just left with the other kids” you mock him, bending over the frame of his door.
“Huh? The kid is always around, I have little to no time alone” he protests, never stopping his pumping motions.
You laugh sexily, and bite your lower lip. You are punishing him, nobody can but you. “No sex” you said. And no sex for such a beast is detrimental. “You are so needy, Kenny…” you purr, licking your teeth.
“Are you gonna come and suck my dick or you want a show?”
“I wouldn’t mind you showing me how needy you are”
You are playing with fire, and you love it… almost as much as him. What you just suggested represents a challenge to him. And he will show you, and he is also gonna make you kneel in front of him sooner or later. His strong reiatsu raises like his arousal, growing like his hardness, sprouting, and overflowing.
Your lungs feels like they are being crushed by your ribs, his smirk turning into a devil smile as he pumps harder. Up and down. Precum dripping in between and over his knuckles, his wide chest covered in scars going up and down. His grunts like growls, feral and so hot, making cross your legs and regret your “sex prohibition”
He rips his eye patch; he wants you to finally succumb, and an upcoming orgasm can make his strong spiritual pressure become heavier for sure. So much that, as he wanted, your legs fail you and you end up kneeling on the ground.
“Hah!, you finally decided to suck my dick?” he laughs, standing up and walking towards you.
“You- damn brute… conceal your reiatsu or else I’m gonna die before it” you protest, horny but on the verge of becoming hypoxic.
“Fineee fineee, but only if you stick your tongue out for me”

100 Days of Productivity [Day: 86] || 100 Jours de Productivité [Jour: 86]
the smell of books in the library. hearing the coffee bubbling in the carafe. same thing said in multiple languages – "beautiful," I say.
it's been busy. so busy. but that's nothing new. & I'm certainly not complaining. my 3 month review is in sight & it makes me so nervous. things have been going very well but I still fear anything I may be missing that may have not been brought to my attention.
I've taken to visiting the university library twice a week in order to give myself a place to study. there isn't anything wrong with home, necessarily, but it's always been easier for me to focus in that kind of setting.
academic work:
-review imperfect tense
-start paragraph assignment
freelance work:
-develop film for prints
-apply for tables at summer markets [yikes]
-level book press
office work:
-answer all emails
-finish period end work

I tag: @moonshine-mocha , @vounnasi , @megumi-fm , @halcyonem & anyone else who would like do try! ~ <3 [sorry if I'm re-tagging you ^^"]

have you been reading any fics lately? the ones you recommend are always top tier 😭 specifically any saiou xiaoven or albether! thanks!
hmm i've only been reading other characters for gnshn lately, so i guess this'll just be saiou rec list #4 (out of 1, 2, and 3)!
What's Yours to Have | postgame VR AU | The thought crashes through his head uninvited. This isn't real. | i like VR AUs that tackle the crippling sense of derealization that must follow... saihara's really going through it, but there's comfort to be found, too. soft!
A Dream (Is it Boring if We Walk this Way Again?) | post-canon | Shuichi has been having a recurring dream, lately. Kokichi is in it, and so are many dark and tangled roads. | how about another fic featuring saihara thinking about identities and having a crisis? loving and haunting both, like lots of OP's works :)c
Morally Gray | angel & demon AU, series | the classic angel/devil au with conversations about righteousness and morality suits saiou a lot...! unfinished series, but the first part especially can read as a fun stand-alone. i like the idea of a sort of good omens-esque saiou investigating supernatural incidents...
watch out, i could steal your heart! | phantom thief AU + p5r xover | Ouma Kokichi is a phantom thief. That’s a phantom thief, no capitals, not a Phantom Thief who steals hearts. In fact, he’s quite annoyed at them– they completely stole his spotlight, when they came onto the scene back in April. | phantom thieves squared!! wip saiou + akeshu, but honestly the saihara + akechi frenemies is really doing it for me too lol
moe moe kyon, saihara-chan! | maid cafe AU | Akamatsu called his omajinai a mix of pathetic and off-putting performance art, and Yumeno just said he looks like a freak. None of the patrons complained so far, but surely as a famous idol Ouma would have high standards, right? | this is incredibly self-serving LOL but maayan and i like to cook up the most deranged AUs and she wrote this gem in answer to our insane DMs... saihara would be a terrible maid. lucky that's not all ouma's there for...?!
Sugar | salmon mode | Saihara, in the process of offering gifts, makes some grave miscalculations. | similar framing but a different premise than illusion rod, but with the same layered, insightful and fun writing :)c saihara's interactions with the other classmates are A++ too

In Perfect Synchronicity (Haruhi Suzumiya x Yuki Nagato)
Link to AO3 (Leave a Comment if you liked it!) https://archiveofourown.org/works/52059856
PREVIEW UNDER READ MORE!
The SOS brigade club room was as boring and menial as it ever had been. Kyon was helping Taniguchi today, so he was strangely absent. Koizumi was of course himself and would come and go at rather random intervals. And Mikuru had been seen being signed out of classes by her “Mother”. Haruhi had commented that it was strange that Mikuru’s mom looked nearly identical to her daughter. Though all this comment got was a murmur of agreement from Yuki.
This unfortunately left the SOS brigade's active and energetic leader with its most calm and docile. Yuki Nagato sat in her corner and held one of the books she always had with you. Nagato could have read these books faster than humans could perceive light, But the alien found books were one of the few comforts she was allowed in her mission. Books were worlds in her hands that told stories of normal girls and their normal lives. Yuki wanted to feel a fraction of the emotions or excitement of a normal high schooler.
Haruhi Suzumiya was nearly her opposite, a girl so desperate to get away from normal life she constantly ventured further and further to find them. So, it stood to reason the club as it was today left the High school god more than a little bored. She sighed loudly and leaned back in her chair and let out a loud breath to signify her boredom. Yuki of course did not react at all; her mission was purely observation. And of course, that would never….
“So, Give it to me straight, Yuki. You’re not human right?”
….
Yuki stared blankly at Haruhi, outside looking as calm as one could physically could. But if one placed a hand on Yuki’s body, they would notice it got 10 degrees hotter as she tried desperately to find a suitable reaction to Haruhi’s blunt statement. Haruhi being her usual self steamrolled right past Yuki’s answer or lack of.
“I get it, you don't want to tell Kyon, right? I bet he’d totally freak out.” Haruhi rationalized in her little spinning chair as she spun around casually as if nothing was wrong. “But you can tell me, I mean I kinda already know.” Haruhi put her foot down and stopped her spinning suddenly. Yuki wasn’t sure if she’d ever seen this exact smile on Haruhi’s face. It wasn’t cocky or overconfident like her normal smirk was. Yuki thought it looked strangely calming.

Holy shit, that took a turn.
...and God.
Frustrating as the arc's been up to this point, the emotional confrontation hits. I was not prepared for this sharp turn into solid drama.
I think this is why Sigh ramped up the Mikuru bits. They took too long getting to this point (unsurprising in the same season that gave us Eternal Eight) but I get it now. Haruhi's always been the show's main point of conflict but this arc pushes her into full-blown villainy.
There is a point being made here. Courtesy of the group enabling her behavior, Haruhi is getting worse. She started out a selfish, violent misanthrope and now she's getting worse because her actions don't have consequences.
This is the reason, the exact reason, why she can't be allowed to know that her will governs the universe. Filming this movie allowed Haruhi to play God, and gave everyone a real taste of the kind of God she would be.
(I love how ugly her expressions get to be here. Animation quality through the roof for the sake of thoroughly animating the contortions of her face as she scowls furiously and screams her head off at Kyon. For daring to have a problem with her drugging Mikuru.)
It gets so bad that Kyon almost does it. He almost starts The Fight He Can't Win that he's threatened a few times.
And. They. Stop. Him.
Even Haruhi's victim stops him.
He can't hit her. They have to let her do what she wants. Because she's God.
This has been the ominous reality in the background for the whole show up to this point, but here it's really laid out there. How truly, genuinely horrifying this reality is.
Screw you. Mikuru deserves better friends. You're on the Shit List, Tsuruya.
Yo, Itsuki just posted his latest Anime Theory about what's going on in the show.
New possibility: Maybe Haruhi isn't God, but rather a divinely chosen human tasked with reshaping the world from the shitsack that it is into something more favorable. And we're the ones selfishly blocking her from her duty so we can continue to linger in the world we like better.
I like how the show doesn't conclusively explain Haruhi. She's a time anomaly. She's the key to cosmic evolution. She's God. She's a miraculous prophet. It's all presented as theories and suppositions by various characters, with no concrete answer ever given.
Because "What is she?" ultimately only matters for academic purposes. We would like an answer so we can type it up for her wiki page. But it's not what the story's about.
What she is doesn't matter. That she is, is what matters. The consequences of her choices matter more than where she came from. She doesn't need to be explained. She's a Weird Cosmic Thing that happened one day in a great and unfathomable cosmos that owes you no answers. We can only observe her and try to make our best guesses.
And now she's suffering consequences.
It's not fair that these people have to bend over backwards for her. It's not fair that the fate of the universe rests on the entertainment squad jangling keys in front of her for the rest of her life. Haruhi was born into the ultimate privilege.
But that is what is. And you have to live in the world that is, even as you work to make it better or keep it from getting worse.
I don't think Kyon did anything wrong here. For once. Haruhi's depressed and... that's concerning, of course. Gonna want to cheer her up before she decides she doesn't like this world anymore or that Kyon and his stupid face should go away.
But someone had to speak up. That Haruhi cares what this trash boy thinks means he is uniquely positioned to tell her off when she goes too far. Which he often does but... this time it actually got through. Because it wasn't just a snippy comment; It was a screaming match that nearly became a fistfight. It was friendship destroying.
God. I relate to this so hard. I have been her. She needed to learn that she can be hurt by the consequences of her choices. Even if that hurt was, in this case, more emotional than physical.
She needed to lose something. Even if only for a day.
I like that Kyon doesn't apologize here. Because he isn't wrong. He doesn't offer her forgiveness because that would undo any personal progress she might have made from questioning herself.
Look at the vulnerability in her eyes as she turns to look at him, before her confident mask slips back on. She's been thinking. She's been experiencing the post-eruption regrets and doubts that always sink in after you lose your head.
People who haven't wrestled with anger management might not know what it's like. But this is how it goes. You scream. And you hurt the people you love. And you storm off. And then you break down and cry and ask yourself why you just did that, why you keep doing that. Why does every relationship end like this? That is what a meltdown is like.
She isn't mad. She wants to be mad. She tries to be mad when he walks in. But she isn't mad. She's scared. Scared that her selfishness destroyed a relationship she'd been taking for granted. And that's a good thing for her to feel. That is the feeling that is going to guide her to better behavior.
Haruhi needed this.
So it's good that Kyon doesn't apologize. Instead, he takes a diplomatic approach, not invalidating what just happened between them but conveying to Haruhi that he is still willing to be her friend. He doesn't offer forgiveness. He offers a second chance to be better.
I don't know if the show will stick this, or if she'll be right back to over-the-top abusing Mikuru next episode. But in a vacuum, this episode got really fucking good out of nowhere.

smth i've been noticing in haruhi suzumiya is how much effort kyoani puts into tiny inconsequential details, just for the sake of emphasizing the characters' personalities and relationships with each other
like, i'm watching the disappearance right now, and two parts really stood out to me as great examples of this. for one, when kyon is over at yuki's house and she has to get up to answer asakura, rather than taking the short way around the room she circles around the kotatsu the long way, just to avoid passing next to kyon. and two, when kyon, koizumi, and haruhi are at the cafe, haruhi's sitting by the window next to koizumi, and when she decides to get up, koizumi has to scramble out of the seat so she doesn't bowl him over on her way out
there's so many other examples i could list, i could go on for ages. it's something that's always stood out to me about kyoani shows (lucky star and k-on being two others with a lot of examples of this), there's so many details in the animation that must have taken a lot of time and effort to include, and are overall pointless to the story, but do such an incredible job at enriching all the characters' personalities and quirks and dynamics and make the show as a whole so much better and i just. god i love kyoani

Friend’s sibling is a dynamic that can be fun to explore even if it’s not done that often. You’ve got a high level of familiarity comfort between two characters that can read as family-like without the actual knowing-each-other that comes with family. Two people who see each other all the time but with the added frisson of being…technically strangers

@moose-goosey-2-babey
okay so this is another kind of complicated question, because the answer--as is the answer to a lot of things regarding haruhi--is that it depends.
i would say yes without hesitation, personally, because while the anime is a phenomenal adaptation there are several things that are by necessity lost in translation with the adaption to screen; and some stories have minor or major changes (see: remote island syndrome being very different, due to legal issues preventing a direct adaptation from ever airing on TV).
kyon's narration in particular is something that is very much cut down in the anime, which is an obvious thing to happen when you take a first person book and make it into a TV show. namely the things he says and the fact that you absolutely should not trust him at face value get lost.
so, let me break down each storyline and whether it has major or minor changes; without spoiling what those differences are any more directly than that. if you really want to jump into a new story, this should at least help you know where things will probably be noticeably different and what you could potentially skip over (at least for now).
the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya - minor changes, outside of the aforementioned narration and book-specific quirks (something that will be true of pretty much all the light novels. if any of them contradict this i will note that instead).
the sigh of haruhi suzumiya - minor changes (though i do stand by its light novel order place of 'right after melancholy even though that's not when it takes place at all' is incredibly important and the anime moving it to the end was most definitely a mistake).
the boredom of haruhi suzumiya - minor changes. this one is more visually interesting in the anime anyway, honestly; if you're going to skip some of them, you could probably come back to this later for the couple of funny moments i don't think made it into the anime.
bamboo leaf rhapsody - pretty similar, but also why would you ever skip bamboo leaf rhapsody. it's bamboo leaf rhapsody.
mysterique sign - only minor changes. again, like boredom, this was more interesting to watch in the anime. not required reading if you want to jump ahead.
remote island syndrome - as i mentioned earlier, this one has major changes! definitely read it regardless of what you do otherwise, it's different enough; those changes don't have major effects on anything to date, but things that didn't happen in the anime do occasionally get referenced in later material (most notably in the tempo loss bishop exchange of haruhi suzumiya, the koizumi pov short story by sou sagara--as a bit of a tangent, if you want a new story, i would recommend it; it seems to take place somewhere in the vicinity of disappearance even if its canonicity is somewhat debatable). i like certain aspects of the anime's rendition of remote island better, but i also prefer certain things from the light novel; it's hard to pick a favorite.
disappearance - very minor changes, to my memory. the disappearance of haruhi suzumiya is, for better or for worse, one of the single most faithful adaptations i have ever seen; and it's nothing short of a masterpiece in my mind in either form. it is absolutely worth reading the book (and it's actually the shortest of the long-form light novel stories, which makes its status as the third-longest animated film absolutely absurd to me), but you're not really missing out on anything if you save it for later.
live alive - minor changes. this one's also technically skippable, but i would highly recommend going back to it at some point; if only because it really does function as a much more pleasant epilogue to sigh.
adventures of mikuru asahina episode 00 - minor changes. this is another one where i honestly prefer the anime version, because a visual medium just makes it feel far less tedious.
(if you're wondering why someday in the rain is absent, that's because it was an anime original. it should be probably counted as canon considering it was written by nagaru tanigawa and slots in nicely as a prelude to disappearance and nothing has ever contradicted its events to date, but it's not adapted from the light novels; so it's irrelevant to this conversation.)
in conclusion: the only one i would say is for sure required reading if you want to jump ahead is remote island syndrome, because it has notable variation from the anime adaptation; and the light novel version is, as you might expect, the one considered canon to the light novels. the rest is (for the most part) absolutely worth revisiting, but you won't be missing out on too much jumping in at the new stories in rampage and wavering. the thing they rely most heavily on is disappearance, and that was easily the most direct page-to-screen adaptation.

mikuru and enneagram : a meta.
first things first : the mass consensus as per personalitydatabase for mikuru's enneagram is that she is a 6w5. this is something i reject wholeheartedly. most specifically, they have her pegged as 6w5 sp/so.
i'm going to use the description of self - preservation 6 as described here.
In the Self-Preservation Six personality, fear manifests as insecurity. Self-Preservation Sixes have a fear related to survival-a fear of not being protected that fuels a driving need for protection through friendship and other kinds of alliances with others. This is the most phobic of the three Six subtypes; this is the Six subtype who feels fear the most. These Sixes seek to escape anxiety by seeking the security of protection; therefore, they become dependent on others. They have a passion for compensating for the fear of separation, which manifests as warm and friendly temperament. Their driving need is therefore for something like (neurotic) friendship or warmth, which makes this subtype the warmest of these Sixes. They tend to be in a good mood and have a generally pleasant disposition. They look for a bond of intimacy and trust in their relationships, and they fear disappointing others, especially those who are closest to them. Being warm is their way of getting people to be friendly so they won't be attacked.
call me crazy, but i don't think mikuru to be particularly fearful. hearkening to when she was kidnapped, i'd argue she's not fearful enough. something of significance to me is that mikuru doesn't really want to be protected. she rejects when kyon offers her help ( and is only forced to accept it via issues beyond her control ), and i don't think she necessarily fears disappointing others, nor does she behave warmly so people don't attack her. after all, we see right away in canon that a warm disposition does nothing to stave off haruhi's more initial unkindnesses. furthermore, i don't believe that she seeks a bond of intimacy and trust in her relationships, namely because due to her brainwashing, almost all relationships will be devoid of trust when she cannot properly articulate all that she wishes to.
There is a lot of hesitation, indecision, and uncertainty in the Self-Preservation Six personality. These Sixes ask many questions, but they don't answer any. They doubt themselves, and they doubt their doubt. Feeling uncertain and unable to find a satisfying sense of certainty, Self-Preservation Sixes have a difficult time making decisions. They see the world in terms of ambiguity-as "gray" rather than "black and white." People with this subtype can't dispel their sense of doubt and uncertainty. Because of their fundamental sense of insecurity and their habit of questions and doubting, they never feel ready or able. They also feel a lot of blame and guilt, even assuming or feeling the blame of others.
i don't believe any of what is being described as characteristic of mikuru in the sense that she is uncertain and hesitant and doubtful because of her brainwashing — not out of anxiety and paranoia and a need to question everything. moreover, while i don't want to dismiss her demeanor after the brainwashing ( especially granted that it is all of what we see of her pardoning her older self ), i don't think that it alludes to her internal motivations and otherwise disposition so much as being the only way she can behave.
even if i reject the instinctual variant subtypes and just analyze based upon the meanings of the enneagram types in and of themselves, it's still a reading of mikuru i still massively disagree with. as per the enneagram institute, the basic fear of enneagram six is Of being without support and guidance, and the basic desire of enneagram six is To have security and support. i don't see either of those as being particularly descriptive of mikuru. if anything, i more see mikuru as yearning to be competent enough to not need support.
so ... what do i think ?
my personal view of mikuru's typology is as follows : isfj 9w1 926 sx/so. and let me break down why that is. there's actually not any contention surrounding her mbti type, so i am going to skip over explaining isfj. but, as for 9w1, let me explain why.
referencing the enneagram institute once again, the basic fear of enneagram nine is Of loss and separation, while the basic desire is To have inner stability “peace of mind”. now, something equally important for me to explain is obviously that characters are not three - dimensional, entirely nuanced beings. they are made to fit the narratives of whatever media they are contained within. that being said, i think what would be most akin to mikuru's basic desire is being capable and competent, which is actually the basic desire of enneagram 5. however, i actually think that the basic fears/desires of enneagram 9 are poorly described when displayed alongside further explanation of the type. so, with that being said, let me further explain my reasoning as to why i view mikuru as an enneagram nine. specifically a sexual 9.
Sloth of the 9 when combined with the sexual instinct gives us the sexual 9 character, a character which has a need for the love of another for one’s own identity. The sexual Sloth here loses its instinctive character and becomes an ability to perceive the need of the other. Their own pleasure can be experienced if it is at the service of the loved person’s pleasure, with a feeling of abnegation where the self has no space. These people tend to merge easily with others, losing touch with themselves in the process. Total merging with another is seen by sexual nines to be what they need to be whole. The other becomes the reference, the compass to detect needs or thoughts. Ichazo called the SX9 "Union", they need to love of another for their own identity, it's a symbiotic confluence where the individual lives the desires of others as his own and their true individual desires are often disregarded. Naranjo described it similarly, as someone who postpones pleasure in his excessive pleasing and merging with the other, losing himself.
to break this down into something more comprehensible, it is not really a big surprise that mikuru lacks identity when compared to the other supernaturals. itsuki has his distinctive subjects that interest him and that he's often found mindlessly rambling about, and yuki has her affinity for reading, something she evidently takes pleasure in. to compare, mikuru is immediately made to quit a club revolving around her own interests ( the calligraphy club ). even with the debacle around the literary club, yuki still reads, whereas mikuru isn't depicted as engaging with her former interest. even though she picks up more semblances of interests throughout the course of the series, such as her affinity for flowers, they really come second compared to the identity and self that she has become for the brigade. of course, it is at haruhi's behest / insistence / force that mikuru becomes the perpetually effacing maid, serving everyone tea with a smile on her face, and i'd be a liar if i claimed i don't think mikuru genuinely enjoy serving everyone as she does, but i believe it's because of what is described of the sexual 9. namely how her own pleasure can be experienced if it at the service of the loved person's pleasure. in this circumstance, i'm reading the brigade as a singular entity rather than a social structure — merging with the desires of the brigade ( namely haruhi ) is what calms mikuru.
if we are to compare mikuru when she is first dragged by haruhi to the clubroom versus mikuru when she is serving tea in intuition, she's obviously mellowed out significantly. now, even if her initial trepidation can be answered with her presumable fear that she had made a mistake since haruhi had initiated communication with her, her demeanor remains fearful even further beyond the collection of all the supernaturals. i choose to read this as the individual lives the desires of others as his own and their true individual desires are often disregarded. granted, we aren't privy to mikuru's true individual desires due to the nature of the franchise, but i simultaneously don't believe her demeanor with the brigade to be inauthentic.
"That's why I feel as if I'm useless. It's the truth. I really am useless. I can't do anything to help you. I can't even help you understand. I'm really worthless."
mikuru says this to kyon in wavering, which to me resonates with sexual Sloth here loses its instinctive character and becomes an ability to perceive the need of the other. she completely and wholeheartedly views herself as useless and worthless because she can't be of assistance to kyon ( and, by extension, the brigade as an entity ). in that sense, she has merged with the identity desired by the brigade, and has little self worth or value outside of it.
now i'd like to go over the trait structure that the personalitydatabase article proposes.
Very patient: The sexual E9 is very patient when it comes to tasks, things, or relationships in which he believes. Of a patience that may seem infinite to others, but that for him is normal. With children and animals, his patience is extreme. This patience testifies to the need to maintain energy homeostasis in oneself and with the environment so that there are no frictions that could put you in contact with needs or choices.
not actually a lot to say about this beyond that of i read mikuru as a remarkably patient character, especially when contrasted against haruhi.
Tolerant with others and Severe with themselves: In others, he tolerates everything and finds justification for any act or behavior. (Although inside he has judged first but, from his desire for kindness, "magnanimously understands and forgives.") With himself, on the contrary, he is severe, critical and does not go too far. In private life as well as at work, he does not forgive himself for any mistakes.
ohhhh boy okay. i cannot stress enough how tolerant mikuru is, which is especially showcased in how she regards her mistreatment from haruhi. though she may weakly resist, she never puts up a genuine fight, and furthermore never seems to harbor much resentment towards haruhi for the treatment. additionally, even when her older self visits kyon, she reflects back upon the costumes haruhi forced her to wear in a fond manner. contrarily, mikuru is very hard on herself, showcased even in how she views herself to be useless because she can't be of assistance to kyon.
Mediator and peacemaker: Not only does he not like to be involved in arguments and conflicts, he does not even tolerate witnessing them. He is stronger than it: when there is an argument, he compulsively triggers the need to placate and fix the situation. He gets in the way without even assessing whether he is in a position to sustain the mediation. The imperative is to quickly regain calm and peace. He doesn't take anyone's side but he manages to assert everyone's reasons and, sometimes without even knowing how he does it, he always manages to achieve his goal. The sexual E9 empathetically and exaggeratedly feels the pain present in the conflict. The suffering is unbearable for him, he feels the unresolved internal conflicts resonate and so that these do not take priority (understood as the resolution of his internal conflict), he immediately acts on the external world.
now while it may stand to reason that no one in the brigade particularly cares for conflicts involving haruhi, lest more destruction be unleashed, i think mikuru is particularly averse to them thanks to her feelings of learned helplessness. that she cannot meaningfully interact with her surroundings, therefore she can't even stand to witness them. in sigh, when they are about to act out the love scene with a drunk mikuru, she begs for everyone to stop fighting; she is willing to go along with the kiss and god knows whatever else haruhi would have instructed itsuki to do for the sake of placating the situation. moreover, she doesn't seem to take anyone's side in such a situation, not in the direct sense of itsuki physically restraining kyon from hitting haruhi.
Aversion to change: If there is one thing that triggers a crisis in the sexual E9 and triggers all the alarms, with the corresponding paranoia, it is change. He does not understand why there is a need to change when things are working so well. Fierce supporter of the saying "the best is the enemy of the good," he applies it as much as he can, and to everything. He needs the usual customs, the usual people, the usual places; in short, let no one disturb his quiet, flat little world for which he has worked so hard.
is it cheating if i bring up how mikuru is literally in the past to watch the source of all the future's troubles and changes ?
Accurate in the development of tasks: The word "accurate" may fall short, almost maniacal and especially at work. Whether he performs tasks at the bottom of the organizational pyramid or at the top, the sexual E9 is extremely reliable due to his need to always have everything in its place. If a work program is prepared, it must be fulfilled, and if there are changes it goes into crisis and is not very elastic. It does not support the delays of the others, because they are an “unexpected variable” of the program.
now, though it may not resonate with the extremes described in the prior paragraph, mikuru is absolutely reliable and diligent. as described by kyon in indignation, Still, Asahina-san was a hard worker. With an earnest face, she would read from a mountain of books she had borrowed from the library, stick post-its anywhere and everywhere, and then diligently push her pencil. [...] The all-too sincere Asahina-san, went to the Art Club and attended a lecture on sketching, then continued on to the Manga Club to study how to write four panel comics, showing perseverance without saying anything more. this is the research she conducts to merely write a fairy-tale, which i think goes to show how when she can genuinely contribute to something, she gives it genuine and dedicated effort.
Lover of good food as a shared pleasure: The sexual E9 loves good food and good wine, but only if he can enjoy it and share it with the person he loves or with his closest friends. He doesn't usually care much about what he eats, and he doesn't like to cook for himself either. Food and drink are a pleasure if they are shared and prepared for someone. When he is alone, on the contrary, they can become a way to fill the void caused by loneliness or the discomfort of doing things for himself.
maybe not necessarily good wine, but mikuru's enjoyment of tea seems particularly oriented in tending to her brigade. i'm sure such a sentiment can be extended towards whatever food she conjures up for the brigade, as well, as cho gekkan mikuru specifically describes mikuru as a good cook, as well as an exceptional tea maker.
Difficulty for physical contact: The sexual E9 does not like physical contact, he does not like to be touched. When talking about this, his idea is that everyone should be in their space. In reality, he does not have the experience of safe skin contact with her mother who, on the contrary, has often been invasive and not respectful of even physical limits. He has not learned to measure personal space.
sub in haruhi for mother and this is as accurate as can be — bearing in mind that a lot of haruhi's touching, and furthermore touching on her that haruhi orchestrates, is not only invasive and unwanted in nature, but also sexually violating. however, i think this has set a precedent in general for mikuru having a hard time with physical contact.
Incapable of making decisions: The sexual E9 is not able to decide for himself, because he does not know what he likes and that is why it is impossible for him to know what is better. He lets others decide everything, even the important things. Although he will be angry if the decision does not seem fair to him, he will abide by it without raising the slightest objection.
now, though her inability to make decisions nor decide for herself is mostly because of her inability to stain the past, i still think it continues to resonate with her characterization because she tends to reject her own decision making in favor of the brigade's.
Bad relationship with the body and sexuality: He has a terrible relationship with his body, he does not accept its forms or its aesthetics. He feels awkward, ugly, and thinks that no one will ever be attracted to him. That is why he forgets that he has a body, and the disconnection of desire from him contributes to his total focus on the pleasure and sexuality of the other.
literally the whole reason haruhi parades her around like a mannequin or a scantily clad fashion model, trying to instill even a modicum of confidence within mikuru. because she definitely has poor self - image, and even if i don't think she necessarily views herself as ugly, i think not being able to properly romantically interact with the past has nevertheless damaged her self esteem, as she must be lusted after and without - a - doubt harassed without reaping any of the benefits. amplified when coupled alongside her weak plea to kyon that if she finds herself to be unsuited for the purity that being a bride demands, he would marry her instead / i think it's twofold in a similar manner as described before, that though her confidence goes up, her self - preservation goes down. even further beyond that, i think disconnection of desire from him contributes to his total focus on the pleasure and sexuality of the other is what impels her forward to go along with haruhi's objectification.
Indispensable and docile: The sexual E9 works tirelessly to make himself indispensable to the people around him (relatives, friends, acquaintances). Compulsively, he immediately answers "yes" to any request, even if it has just been outlined, without taking the slightest account of his capacity, his psychophysical availability, the eventual effort to be made or, lastly, his needs. Also in this case it is the price to pay for not being abandoned.
must i paste her crying about not being able to help kyon and therefore being useless here again ? even if not inherently indispensable, i think she wants to be useful so badly that she takes on any request she can without paying any mind to how it would overwhelm her.
Welcoming: Creating a comfortable environment, being open to welcoming the other, being hospitable and affable, using a voice that can be pleasant and friendly, and showing unlimited availability, make the sexual E9 well accepted in his environment. He acts like this because he feels the need to be welcomed by his fellow men and, above all, because he believes that, otherwise, no one would love him. Ultimately, he believes that he is not lovable for himself but for the attention he provides.
a mascot sure is welcoming, isn't she ? mikuru is absolutely a welcoming, kind - hearted, and overall pleasant girl, and i think her yearning to be kind goes hand in hand with the trait described. rather than lovable, it would be useful, and she believes that she needs to be kind and helpful and welcoming because it's the only value she has, and it's all she can offer to the past. kindness really is all she has.
Sense of duty: The sexual E9 has such a strong sense of responsibility that he often takes on what does not belong to him. The motivation is twofold. On the one hand, he feels that all the obligations of the world fall on his shoulders (it is up to him to ensure that everyone fulfills his duty). On the other hand, he thus prevents himself from experiencing excessive pleasure in situations that might even procure it.
regardless of her inexperience and even furthermore her being hindered thanks to the brainwashing, mikuru is very dedicated to her mission as a time traveler. she's very dutiful, even if she can't necessarily take on what does not belong to her. ergo, she's doing what she can despite the circumstances.
that's about everything i can think to add right now.

This is admittedly a very broad question, but you mentioned that online writing has produced some of the best non-fiction the world has seen, and I'm curious, what would you put in that category?
A good question, and the fact that it is hard to answer for me is telling of the problem! We don't preserve them and rank them in relevant ways.
There are some obvious ones - I mentioned Gwern of course, he has some great pieces. Slate Star Codex (nee Astral Codex Ten) will come up a lot as a classic, "Meditations on Moloch" being probably the most famously cited, and its very good. I always loved The Last Psychiatrist, a gonzo-style rage blog using pop culture epiphenomena to set up scathing critiques of modern identity, such a fun blog.
Some of them are just...so niche. That is the struggle of course with these things. I loved Gwern's The Melanochy of Kyon, a headcanon interpretation of the anime Haruhi twisting its plot so that Kyon (instead of Haruhi) is the real unknowing god of that world. Which means nothing to you if you didn't watch Haruhi, and participate in the discussions of the day in like 2006. Pseudoerasmus was the best economic history blogger around when he wrote (he still tweets lol), but unless you care about "Labor Repression & the Indo-Japanese Divergence" in textile productivity its not gonna mean anything to you. You should care though, its fascinating.
And the niche extends to preservation; I learned the ropes of media analysis from Scott Eric Kaufman and his blog Acephelous, he went the distance on analyzing shot composition & editing before YouTubers were making it their bread and butter. But he died, tragically young, in I think 2016. His blog is partially preserved, but not in its original form, its harder to navigate now. And like are you really gonna read editing breakdowns of Buffy The Vampire Slayer episodes today on a shitty typepad blog with broken interfaces? I get why you wouldn't.
Im sure there are more, that is just off the top of my head. I think the niche is key, actually - we are *not* better today at writing "the big thinkpiece", the essay explaining how society is All Wrong or how you can fix your life. Those essays, once you have read a few, you realize they are a bit without purpose, grist for the content mill validating pre-concieved ideas. Instead its detailed accounting of things that would be previously impossible to find, connected to wider ideas & concepts but still about their niche, where the internet shines.

More Kyone - Cuddling
Kyana hugged Ione, the single blanket over them both being not near enough for Kyana to feel warm. Ione giggled, and hugged Kyana in return.
"You know… we could just close the window if you're cold." Ione suggested, receiving a squeeze from Kyana.
Kyana kissed Ione forehead, affection clear in her tone as she spoke.
"No." Kyana answered.
"No?" Ione giggled even more, clearly entertained by this.
"If we close the window, it will get too warm in here to cuddle you." Kyana answered, rather seriously.
Ione's face flushed at Kyana's answer and she immediately gave up. "Okay… We can keep the window open, Kyana." Ione replied softly, pressing her forehead against Kyana's.
"Thank you, Ione." Kyana giggled this time. "I love you."
"I love you too." Ione answered, kissing Kyana's nose.
A gust of wind blew through the window, making them both shiver.
"Maybe we should get another blanket though." Ione suggested.

Finally, victory?
Hello!! So I noticed I made a few grammer mistakes. Also, it's not because english is my second language, buuuut its because I'm too excited to write these, and I just wanted u guys to see them. Anyhow! I'll be careful, OK? Also, this one is for my dear rat baby yuki! I love him from fruits basket, and he needs love and tickles. Also, poor kyon kyon needs to win at least once, right?
Warning spoilers may be there so watch the series and familiarised
Enjoyyy~♡
It's finally going to happen. Hatsuharu, Ayame, Shigure and Tohru watched as the battle continued to take place.
Yuki's delicate features concentrated harder on the chess pieces, waiting for his opponent to make his move. Swiftly lifting his gaze back to Kyo, he patiently stared at the car zodiac.
Kyo's frustrated expressions were hilarious to haru and Shigure who snickered together about this absurd look he had. Yet Kyo disregarded with a grunt. Finally he moved forward but victorious grinning "I got your other Bishop too rat boy! Prepare to die!"
Tohru in the background prayed that no one was going kill anyone. Though it was unheard. Yuki raised an eyebrow, and he sighed coolly. "Baka neko (stupid cat), do you think chess is something you can play without a strategy?"
"Huh???!!" Rage flooded in the ginger's face, Yuki's blank features examined Kyo before speaking."So I guess I'll have to claim your king now,"
"YOU CAN'T-!"
Barely able to finish, Kyo watched as Yuki gracefully eased the rook closer to his king. Panic flushed, he forgot about thar sneaky rook of his. Kyo looked back and forth, realising none of his pawns were active. Not even his Knight was allowed to move when Yuki's pawns pinned him.
Afterwards with a futile attempt to cut off Yuki's Knight, Yuki smirked "Checkmate"
Between a growl and a snarl, Kyo staggered back with defeat.
Haru smiled now seeing how things will never change especially with Kyo and Yuki's rivalry.
However. He wanted to see Yuki falter for once.
"My dear brother! I am so proud of you!" Ayame's expressions sparked with happiness and Yuki stared at him "Who invited him?"
Shigure grinned and that itself answered him. Before anyone could say anything more, Kyo snapped abruptly, startling Yuki a little.
"Fight me again, this time properly! I learned the grappling technique from master! No objections baka nezumi (stupid rat)!"
Yuki felt fatigues mentally, but he sighed instead. Rolling his shoulder to flex himself and prepare for this sparring session, Yuki mentally wished Kyo could give up for once.
"Fine, but remember I'm not paying for your bandages in future,"
"You!" With that Kyo lunged. Tohru squeaked in fear as they began to roughhouse in the middle of the living room "please be careful..."
Her innocence made Haru assure her "relax they aren't trying to murder each other for real"
She nodded hopefully, and Haru continued to observe with her. Meanwhile, Ayame and Shigure lost interest in it and were discussing things to themselves of god-knows-what?
Yuki was gaining the upper hand as usual. He hooked his feet under Kyo's ankles, which sent him stumble backwards, with thst he grabbed on to Yuki's waist for support something unintentional.
Yuki yelped loud, which is so rare for the normally composed student council president.
Kyo noticed it but was wondering if he hurt him. He backed away a little and lowered his attempts to try it again. Haru, on the other hand, had to ask, "What's up, Yuki?"
Yuki's face flushed to a lovely pink colour, which made Kyo suspicious now. "Oi. What's wrong with you?
"What...?" Yuki played dumb, still keeping his defences high. He had his back to Haru when he was distancing himself from Kyo. "I'm fine... why did you stop idiot cat,"
Haru reached to poke his waist, "When Kyo touched you here, you were stiff as a log,"
By this, Yuki cried out, "Oi, stiff cheating!"
Kyo noticed the slight quivering of Yuki's lips and then tackled him rapidly. Before Yuki could turn the tables, Kyo dug his fingers on to the delicate sides of the prince.
Yuki arched his back, squeaking like a mouse, which dragged even Shigure's attention.
"Ohh? Is the little mouse sensitive?" Haru teased first. This made Yuki blush even more, "nohoho! It does nohot!"
It's was Kyo's turn to grin like a maniac. "Well, well, finally, victory?" He added with additional wiggles to his ribs, and that made his laughter kick higher and louder. "OhohoOHOHOI! STOHOHP THAHAHAT! NOHOHO!"
Tohru had no clue how to react, for seem reason, Yuki's giggles are so cute. She felt blushing with endearment. She smiled "Yuki Is adorable..."
"AHhahaha noho fair hohohondahaha sahahan!" He whined now. Suddenly, Kyo just pinned his wrists to the side, letting him catch his breath, knowing the bronchial issue at hand.
"Adorable...? Yeah, right, it's fucking funny how unprincely he is!" Kyo mocked him and now Yuki having recovered glared back at him.
"Well, if cheating makes you triumphed, I dare say go for it! I'm not yielding such a stupid method!"
Kyo narrowed his eyes. "Cheating? I just found a weakness, and you think I'm cheating?"
Shigure joined in out of nowhere now leaning in between haru and ayame "also Yuki, laughter is the best medicine,"
"Shut uhuhup!" A surprised giggle escaped when Kyo hand magically released his wrists now tickling his tummy. He squeaked even more loudly and curled front, then twisted to the side.
This made Kyo shock a little. He was surprisingly cute for some reason, but he couldn't let that stop him "ill tickle you to submission Yuki..."
"NohohoOHOHO! PLEHEHEHEASE MAHAHAHAKE IHIHIT STAHAHAHAHAP!"
"He's begging..." Haru stated amusedly "keep going Kyo you're winning after the seven hundred and-"
"I get it, kid!" Kyo snapped at Haru but didn't stop his assault. He dug into his hips, and Yuki burst into another melody of loud cackles and giggly snorts. Kyo heard him at last.
"YOHOHOHOU WIHIHIN! CUHUHUT IHIHIT OUT NOHOHOW KYOHOHOHO!"
Stopping slowly, Kyo watched those long lashes tear stained, yuki was beautiful, and Kyo blushed a little at thst "you lost... remember?"
He was silent, breathing with giggles, but then they shrilld when Kyo poked his waist. "Ohohokay juhuhust stop! You wihin!"
Kyo cried out in triumph and now danced in enthusiasm. Yuki sighed now, relaxing a little as he watched Kyocelebrating like a child. With a huff, Haru helped him to his feet. "Never thought you'd be ticklish yun yun... huh?"
Fear seized him the moment that nickname arosed, "Please... don't tell Kakeru... that's the last thing I want!"
He smiled and nodded "I won't, I promise,"
Yuki sighed in relief and joind with tohru meanwhile hatsuharu internally began thinking...
Because he's the one who told me you're ticklish.
Grinning excitedly, they all began to tease Yuki's behaviour today, as adorable, funny, and hilarious. Yuki still denied the fact that he squeaked like a mouse and giggled like a girl until Shigure said round two was necessary.
Still, Yuki can't say he's unhappy.
Hope it's good! I just finished this at midnight, so it's sleepy, byeeee!
