The fun part of my brain playing with language the way a parakeet plays with sound is I get to have some wild rides.

For some reason I like to start with the Steven Universe song "Giant Woman". Then I break and badger and genre swap and mashup until I... well, y'know, "play with them like dolls."

Giant Woman but it's got a dubstep drop right in the titular phrase and it's like "G-g-g-g-g-... GIANT WOMAN!"

Sometimes we wind up at "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody" from that Gatsby remake. But this time we're going to veer into "B-b-... Barbarian!" from Dave the Barbarian.

Heh. Barbarians. Raging. Yelling. Screaming.

Scream. Cream? Why are we at cream? Scream for ice cream?

Oh! Barbarian. Bavarian.

Bavarian Cream.

I often feel like even though English (USA) is my native language, it feels more like a second language bc of how hard it is for me to formulate sentences, especially sentences that are not scripted. I have a lot of thoughts about a lot of things, I just don't know how to communicate that to the people around me often times.

And even if I can think the sentences alright, actually getting them out of my mouth while also considering things like tone, facial expressions, body language, etc, its a lot more difficult.

I can usually play it off as a silly quirk, or a 'brain fart' but emotionally I feel different about it.

Another of my friend K's suggestions - when she found out I'd never watched twilight she suggested we do so together, but she keeps insisting she won't tell me what happens in the last ones in advance because then I'll 'never agree to watch them'. i am afraid.

We all know at this point that the name Astarion is connected to the word "star" (starry or little star).

But Larian decided that they wanted to go all in with the details and they delivered!

The flower you can place on his tomb in the final romance scene (which I think is such a cute and tender gesture and I love his reaction to it), seems to be an Ornithogalum umbellatum, a star-shaped white flower with six petals. Among the plant's many common names, there are summer snowflake, starflower, and star-of-Bethlehem.

Moreover, in the language of flowers, its meanings are related to trauma, mourning, and welcoming pain without repressing it.

According to Doctor Edward Bach (1886 – 1936), these flowers are "For those who find themselves in a state of great anguish due to situations that, in a given period, have caused so much unhappiness", and can be used to help with the aftermath of a trauma, the alleviation of pain and the mourning process.

ngl i get that people hype up hating writing for the bit but like. idk. yall i Do actually really like writing. it is so satisfying and fun and rewarding and i get to look back what i made over and over again and get joy every single time.

yes writing is hard but if you hate it more than you love it im kinda like. idk. find another hobby?
