Looks a little bare out of context, but eh! That's what you get! A snippet of dialogue from the Fraud Squad Anya/Raina hatemance fic that I fully expect crickets on when I finally post, but at least I'll have made one tiny fic for one tiny fandom!

As he sat down, Finn was drinking from his cup, still watching Hob intently from over the rim. Hob smiled at him as reassuringly as he could, and said, "That's good, sweetheart. That's perfect. Dream, would you like... coffee, or tea or anything?"  Dream's lips parted--Hob could see the polite but inevitable no, thank you, I do not need such things forming on his lips--and then he glanced down toward Finn.  Finn was no longer drinking from his cup, but was still holding it near his mouth, and was watching Dream intently.  "Thank you," Dream said. "I would like a cup of milk, please, and perhaps some bread?"  "Yes, of course," Hob said immediately, catching the notion that Dream wanted to model proper accepting-offered-food behavior for Finn, and sternly shushing the part of him that was all but dancing a jig at finally getting Dream to accept anything from him. 

Now that I'm all done with smol!Dream, time to radically change gears and work on the fic where... Hob and Dream are parenting Finn! Look, you can tell this one is different because there is no cheese on toast!

Got tagged by.... some people. Pretty sure @elismor was the last person I saw in my mentions. Honestly guys, I get on here, spam some stupid shit into my feed and leave, so I'm behind on seeing my mentions.

I actually have been writing, working on getting the WHITE WALE of "And I'll Follow the Light in You" finished. So here, a line or two from a future chapter (i have no idea which, this shit is just getting word vomited onto google docs at this point).

Carlos had harbored a deep, gnawing fear that TK would be overwhelmed by his family, that their sheer size and spirit and casual Spanglish could leave him feeling on the outside looking in. He hadn’t counted on that fear being the very reason TK fit — that growing up the only child of accidental only children might make him crave exactly their kind of chaos.

Killeen approached the altar, her every step weighted with the gravity of what had transpired. She gazed upon Rowan, who lay pale and disheveled, her eyes vacant and haunted. The connection forged by the ritual had been abruptly severed, leaving Rowan's mind in a state of disarray.

The girl's chest rose and fell in uneven breaths, each one a testament to the toll the spell had exacted. Killeen, her hands trembling with residual energy, extended a hesitant touch toward Rowan's shoulder. The contact was tentative, as if unsure whether the remnants of the forbidden ceremony lingered in the very air between them.

The atmosphere remained charged with tension as Killeen sought to understand the consequences of her actions. The room itself seemed to hold its breath, caught in a liminal space between the mystical and the corporeal. The Eldritch symbols etched into the walls still pulsed, feeding on the tension.

Eowyn looks; there indeed is a battered old guitar, perched merrily on a pile of papers behind the front desk, ready to be used for walloping.

I'm in the editing stages of a couple of fics and don't have any drafts atm, so here's a drawing wip for a 212th bingo square. The prompt is 'werewolf' and I plan to write something for it as well, but this is related to an image I did for Waxer*Boil Month.

Don't worry, Waxer is the goodest boy and will get a space!milkbone later or something.

It’s for an au fic im working on where Soap has to take care of Ghost’s nephew Joseph, who he’s been raising the past 2 years after their family were killed:(, while Ghost’s away on a business trip.
