OKAY SO now that it’s released, I wanna talk about the process of the Ulysses Ambient ASMR video cause I put way too much effort into it lmao-

Over the course of the one hour video, there is a total of 25 individual sound layers, plus the video layer. Within those layers is literally hundreds of individual sounds and clips, but for the most part things can be broken up into what I’ve been calling “ambience levels”!

Level 1: Environmental

The smallest of the levels (3 audio layers) is the first, the “environmental layer”. This includes the crashing waves, the wind outside (since Ulysses study is upstairs I wanted a very attic-on-the-beach vibe with the howling wind) and the occasional seagulls!

Level 2: The Experiments

This is one of the bigger levels, and had a total of 6 layers. There is a consistent bubbling/simmering water sound throughout the video, but on occasion, there is slightly different, more active boiling/bubbling sound layered in to vary it. There is also a handful of sounds like jars being opened, liquid being poured, things being mixed/stirred, and glass vials being clinked together!

Level 3: Writing

This level has about 5 layers all up, between both writing and drawing sound effects (they’re subtly different, one is broader and the other more scratchy), several variations of books being opened and flipped through, and things being taken on and off bookshelves!

Level 4: Kelpie!

I really wanted something to make it feel more tailored to Ulysses than just a standard ASMR vibe, so I thought including the pets was a cute idea! Kelpie had one of the smaller levels, at only 3 sound layers. At about the 17 minute mark, you can hear Kelpie whining, howling and finally panting happily outside!

Level 6: Victor the Skeleton Cat:

Honestly? This might be my favourite of how the layers turned out. Victor had a total of 7 sound layers (the largest of the levels), and appears around the 37 minute mark!! There was so much going on that I wanted to make sound the way I picture it. Anytime Victor moves, the sound of his footsteps can be heard (either as claws on the wood/desks, or as little pads on the carpet), AND you can hear the rattling of bones layered over it too, since they click together when he walks! Eventually he meows a little bit (I like to think Ulysses doesn’t give him as much attention as he wants and he wanders over to the listener) before curling up and beginning to purr beside the listener for a while! Then, laced on top of the purring is a slight clicking, breathing noise, since he doesn’t need to breath, but I like to think that his purrs and meows do have a sort of hollow, clicking resonance, since he is just like… all bone-

ANYWAY I hope people enjoyed reading me talk about that I adore audio editing and soundscaping and this was super fun to work on! Who knows maybe I’ll do something like this for Virgil, Leopold, or even other Fable characters at some point, if there’s liked,,, demand for it lol. But I hope people enjoyed both the ambience video and the behind the scenes explanation!

Ok so the saga with my old PC continues and is only fueling my desire to get back into fanfiction lol because I found all of the files from my attempt at making a legend of spyro fan-game! I honestly thought they were lost, I'm so excited to see all this stuff again! This was the "logo" for the game (I know its nearly unreadable lol, so it says "The Legend of Cynder, Shadows of The Past". 14/15 year old me didn't seem to care much for readability, I think I'd just discovered photoshop's layer effects lol)

Here's a bunch of random stuff I found.

I'm defiantly going to do a redraw of that last one at some point. That was like, THE thing I remember being super proud of when I first did it. I think it was going to be part of the trailer my now-partner was putting together for the game lol.

Actually, a lot of these were actually just frames from animations, but either the files are either just corrupted, or high school me didn't know how to set fps and resolution properly in the output so I got a headache trying to watch them lol. It's probably the second one honestly. Also I remember my old laptop wasn't able to play back the animation because it would lag so much, so I just had to kind of...guess at timing, and that went about as well as you'd expect. It didn't help that blender used to have this bug where your audio would move around your timeline so it really was just random guessing. I'm amazed anything got done at all, let alone how far we actually got (that is to say, not far at all but we had something playable at least).

I also found the demo files and footage of the "game" running (running at 12fps but running)! I'm curious if they still work, I'll have to download an older version of blender to test them out!

There's actually a lot more but actually finding it is proving to be quite a challenge since this laptop seems to be the digital equivalent of an ADHD "doom box" - meaning nothing is sorted into folders that make even a remote lick of sense to me, it's all just kind of thrown in together lmao.

I wanted to post these though because even though I don't really do 3D stuff anymore, It still made me really happy to see how much progress I've made over the years and how far I've come. Also a few folks who worked on this project with me back on Deviantart have started finding me lol, so in case there's anyone else out there, hello! I'm not dead, I'm still around, I'm just a lot more (openly) queer now lmao.

ok i'm gonna layout the events post-sunny's totem pop because i was watching it back and the details of it actually confused me a little. when i saw it live, i assumed tallulah was calling leo a cheater for hitting sunny after the totem popped, but watching back blurred that a little for me and i'm wondering if other people have any thoughts on it?? it's now unclear to me who tallulah was calling a cheater since she seems to be like firmly cheering on leo the whole time and didn't really look at sunny at all. sunny and tallulah's relationship has been in a weird spot for a while ago (and this adds a whole 'nother layer to it even tho i think from her perspective tallulah could just be supporting her sister leo who is often left out and not really thinking about sunny at all) and i could write a whole essay about what i think is going on there. but like who is tallulah calling a cheater? leo for hitting after the fight ended? sunny for breaking leo's totem? why is what leo did okay then? did she see who started it? so many unanswered questions anyway this is long and unnecessary so i'll put it under a read more, i got half way through doing this before deciding it was pointless but i figured i might as well post it anyway so everyone has the play by play and can see what i mean lmao

ok so the totem pops. sunny and leo both hit each other once immediately afterwards (still in the momentum of the fight) then sunny backs away and turn to leave. it's worth noting here that tallulah is on leo's "side" of the arena cheering. she moved basically immediately when leo enters the arena (unlike every other match where she stayed with the group in the centre/centre-left) and stays there the whole match. it could be her wanting a different angle but i'm not sure.

leo follows sunny, swinging her stick, and hits her as sunny is leaving (note: sunny is unarmed here but she switched to the bread to eat like the same second leo hits her so i don't think leo wasn't purposefully hitting her unarmed but she could tell sunny was leaving) (also note: pepito's been on the floor since before the floor ended, poor baby does not like watching the sisters fight, also got told off by guard at the beginning for opening door like pepito wanted to follow pepito's sisters in 🥺🥺)

leo then spams hits sunny back (~4 times) as she switches to a stick. ramon starts rushing forward. sunny starts hitting back (~3 times) and pops leo's totem. she then turns and leaves just as ramon comes between them. he switches to an enchanted axe briefly facing leo but quickly swaps back to stick, seeming to realize the fight's over for real now. leo starts victory dancing as sunny exits the room entirely. ramon exits quickly after (and stands to the side thereafter). cucurucho laughs and says good like the drama-loving asshole he is.

tallulah puts down her sign after sunny exits the room (she's just behind empanada here), but sunny doesn't read it since she's facing away the whole time. it's worth noting as far as i can tell (from audio and a brief frame with the maraca in it) that tallulah only moves towards the centre after the leo's totem breaks. pepito goes in towards leo. empanada comes and throws bread at sunny (it is empanada not tallulah i checked). sunny starts writing a sign

after her sign's down, tallulah then rushes into and jumps excitedly at leo and throws bread at her. she then comes out and breaks her 'CHEATER' sign (which neither sunny nor leo read) before returning back to leo. em asks if sunny's okay and sunny finally finishes her sign she started typing when she first exited. she leaves it up about 5 secs (we never see it RIP)

leo puts down a sign saying 'SLAAAAAAAY SOPORTA' and tallulah follows up also saying 'SOPORTAAA'. I'm not great at Spanish but soporta usually means like 'support' but i think (and i'm also not super familiar with mexican slang) this is also another way of saying like la queso which is drag slang for 'like it or not' (kinda idk how to translate it)?? i'm not sure tho. if someone knows better please tell me.

anyway so that's that. all the other eggs basically just watch the aftermath or aren't paying attention. ramon's intereference and pepito cheering for both but congratulating leo on her win after and empanada supporting sunny after all make sense to me as reactions. but tallulah confuses me a bit. it seems like she is pretty supporting leo during the fight and after. she doesn't act like she thinks leo did something BM afterwards (which i think she'd at least admonish her if she did even if she was still excited leo won). neither sunny nor leo sees the cheater sign and she breaks it fairly quickly. did she regret it? did she think sunny got to read it? did she not want leo to see it? it's such a small thing but that cheater sign baffles me.

there are so many intricacies to the sunny's relationships with tallulah and leo that i think were all made worse by this fight lmao. the little girl drama i live for it @.@ can't wait for qsmp to return so i can have more to do than analyze a 3 min fight for 2 hours

Podfeels Adapt8ion Notes: Episode 4

hello, dare again! just as a reminder for how these posts work, stagelights will be covering the notes as a whole, and if i ever have to pitch in it will be with purple text like this! with that said, lets get back into it!

this episode was sort of the first one we ever did, as the original demo for the project way back when (i think it was like 3 years ago now? how time flies) (yeah... its so crazy to look back on) was this episode. we did however make a few new adaptational changes, as well as re-recorded everything, as basically all of us have grown as actors since then. so before we get into the episode proper, we have an adaptational addition already!

at the beginning of each episode, we hear jess (as Narration and then june) saying the quote from the description of godfeels on ao3

these fuckers.

but since june has come out, we can’t just use the godfeels 2.1 one, and the godfeels 2.2 doesn’t necessarily fit. so we (actually i got sarah to do it!) wrote our own specifically for this episode. “My name is June Eg8ert, and now I know I’m human… but will my friends see it the same way?”

ok time for the actual episode

some fairly minor changes. i’m pretty sure the ellipses were meant to be there to help with direction for the actors but we kept them in in the scriptlog because i think they help add to the vibe of roses skepticism

this change was added to help sort of bring this in line with the epilogues. giving off the vibes she’s experiencing the symptoms she talks about in there. this part of the story takes place several months before the epilogues would have happened, so obviously it’s not as severe but its still present. 

line cut for pacing. id say less PACING and more just... sometimes narration things like this, her snapping her head, can be more cleanly conveyed in audio by just having it be incorporated into the performance. the narration described terse body language, so we nix that and deliver a terse performance!

more cut narration. at this point its kind of just routine lol

not necessarily a change but a very fun thing where junes voice and vriskas voice are layered for this line. this was actually also done with the call during the previous episode but i forgot to mention it.

more narration cuts. honestly though i have listened to this episode more than i’ve read the original version so i honestly didn’t even parse the “honestly rose” bit as a change until literally just now lmao. it flows so well that i genuinely thought it was there in the original

self explanatory. im running out of things to say.

the narration is replaced by door slam and party horn sound effects. champagne was specifically mentioned in the notes in the original google doc to be pronounced “sham-pag-in” which is probably a reference to a thing i dont get. YOU HAVENT WATCHED FUTURAMA!?!?!?

lotta cut narration. u kno the deal by now

another not-a-change but a line that gains a completely new context when combined with the actor swap. she quite literally does sound different. i think thats fun. according to sarah, that line was written back in the day with direct plans on it being in reference to her her, having played both john and june, taking a different performance when playing june. its just also taken on an even more stark meaning with having them be different actors, which i think is goddamn beautiful

just more instances of turning narration into stage directions and sound and emoticons into words and vocalizations

why pran singing the unfinished version of "our song" is one of my top 5 fav bbs scenes

EXT. PRASERTSILP HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS — DAY

adding a layer to highschool!patpran by introducing us to their juniors specifically in their music club is cute and clever.

this show has a great habit of establishing things early on (pran starts writing the song in EP2 shortly after applying in EP1) and paying it off before the show ends. the Chekhov's Gun Principle approves.

we get confirmation from p'aof (?) that pran's guitar is a metaphor for pat and his relationship with him.

forbidding to play it, it being kept for years and returned (= university reunion), then at EP12 dissaya getting it herself and laying it for her son to play... yeah.

pat also being smart because he knows exactly how to get to pran, by making a deal.

this scene is so easy breezy. that even though they're in public now, there are no more pretenses. they get to be comfortable.

also wait! cute goof up. they decided to keep that in because it's natural. i think his forehead got hit by the guitar, haha.

speaking of natural, thank you that pran did some testing and tuning because no one immediately remembers the chords and plays it. lol

and then, when pran actually starts playing, the lighting changes. he looks more angel-like.

p'aof said that the windy effect wasn't on purpose. sir i'm glad you shot this scene like this, even though it must've been hard to pick up audio, because it looks so good.

again, natural. pran sing so slowly because he's trying to remember the lyrics.

i kind of bashed episode 3's guitar hallway scene because the background music didn't make way for pran playing the guitar. there was music on top of music it was kind of annoying lmao but

they made it up with this scene. they let only the sound of the wind, the strings, and nanon's voice take over quietly.

hats off to Pat's multitasking and attention though?? deciphering the lyrics and then stopping to admire Pran. brooo. you're so down bad.

but seriously, the simplicity in their looks. we see in the show's first half how and why pran fell in love with pat, so now we see here the vice versa. (pun not intended)

i have a feeling the song draft actually ends at the previous line, about the sky, sea, or other kind of splendor.

but pran improvises the beginning of the refrain right here. because when he can serenade to pat like this, he can finally answer the question in the first verse.

because see how he stops and looks up before and after he sings this line: it felt like he wasn't recalling, but rather making up one on the spot.

this scene was simply a masterclass of the simplicity of romantic chemistry. the fondness in the eyes. the succeeding revelation of pat's memory.

remember when tumblr user absolutebl said nanon emotes with his eyes? because yes. god yes.

look at him. pran is very surprised. but what is more on the surface are warmth and affection once he learns of this fact and that hears it from pat himself.

i love how nanon chooses to fall into a trance-like state while looking at pat, so much that pran has to visibly shake himself off of it by blinking and looking away to continue the sincere conversation playfully. he's so INFJ for this.

we end with pran learning that pat has liked him back just as long as him, which makes both him and i happy.

the lack of awareness pat has with the nature of feelings he has for pran doesn't invalidate its existence: that it's romantic in nature.

I saw someone say that “Boston has done nothing wrong!”

And I’m like. He sexually harassed/assaulted Top MULTIPLE times??? It could not be more black and white. Top said. I do not want to have sex with you. I am not interested. LIKE YOU CANT GET CLEARER THAN THAT.

But Boston continued. Even though he KNEW Top was dating someone else and not interested in him. Which ended in him coercing Top, under false pretenses, to have sex with him. Boston knew he was lying about Ray and Mew sleeping together. There’s no way he didn’t know Mew has never been into Ray.

Oh does it not count because you don’t find Top likable? Sorry. I wasn’t aware that assault doesn’t count if the person isn’t nice enough.

And that’s not even getting into how he knowingly played with Nick’s feelings and led him on even though he had no intention of seriously dating him. Like that is text in the show. Boston says. Maybe in the future we’ll date. Even though, at that point he doesn’t intend to date Nick. He just likes hooking up with him.

Like. None of this makes the terrible things that have happened to Boston okay. But like. Those terrible things also don’t excuse what he has done. Like. It’s unacceptable that he was recorded without his consent while having sex. And then it was shown to so many people. That’s horrific. And that is a crime. But it doesn’t mean that anything he’s done before or after is absolved.

Like it absolutely enrages me that even if you think the car sex was completely consensual. Boston still groped and harassed Top multiple times. Like. That is sexual assault. That is sexual harassment.

Boston is certainly and interesting character. And Neo is really showing his range as an actor in making me sometimes feel sorry for a character who has done horrible things. Like he’s shown that Boston has many layers.

But he still hasn’t even had to apologize for what he did to Top. And the fact that I see people act like Boston is somehow completely innocent in all this makes my blood boil. I’m sorry for ranting but my god.

don't apologize, you're completely right, anon! the other day i got in an argument with someone who kept bringing up stuff that they just... disliked about top? and when i told them that was all irrelevant, that all that matters is that boston was told to stop and didn't, they called me a jerk!!! it's fucking unreal the lengths this fandom will go to justify sexual assault.

this is kind of the thing with this fandom, they don't really understand what it means to be "morally gray" or even morality in general. they think that what is "immoral" about boston is his promiscuity (something that, if you don't subscribe to an abrahamic religion/puritanical society, is in fact morally neutral - if we go by the "sex is immoral" doctrine taught in those contexts then gay sex is never moral - which, you know, based on how homophobic BL fandom can be, AND PARTICULARLY THIS FANDOM I SEE YOU TIKTOKERS ACCUSING TOPCHEUM OF FUCKING I SEE YOU, it wouldn't surprise me if that's a part of it), when it's the ASSAULT, it's the NOT TAKING NO FOR AN ANSWER.

boston is a bad person, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have, like you said, layers. not everything about someone has to be bad for them to be a bad person - and you can still feel sorry for them when undeserved shit happens to them. but this fandom can't seem to wrap their heads around that. for some reason, despite this show being "messy," when someone actually messes up they're evil and when someone does something deliberately hurtful to another human being it's either ERASED FROM THEIR MEMORIES or justified in a way that makes them completely blameless or even something good (and not story-good like how i feel about sand LOSING HIS SHIT and destroying his phone to steal the audio and fuck with ray's head/ruin top's life; i mean, people thinking that ray exposed top AT MEW'S BIRTHDAY PARTY out of the goodness of his heart lmao).

I LOVED Madeline Charlemagne as Eurydice when I saw the show, and I am so happy there are recordings of her role, but the character that drove me absolutely BATSHIT was Hermes?? When my friend and I saw the play, Waylon Jacobs understudied and was PHENOMENAL. SO natural in the role, the charm was insane, and Hermes' was easily the best costume in the entire show!! Overall Hadestown UK was such a transcendental experience I struggle to even put it into words, and whenever I try to, I just end up replaying your recording of If It's True bc that just sums it up ❤️

I remember him and Lauren looking towards each other when Hermes said Hades would let Orphydice go during Wait For Me II 😭 Honestly I tell everyone I know that watching Hadestown was truly a life changing experience HAHA I could really wax poetic about Donal's If It's True (and his Orpheus!!) all day, I was just comparing all the audios the other day and he really has improved loads in terms of maintaining his stamina to carry the emotion through and god he really shakes the theatre down in that number for me. it has not been asked before :] and his voice does not stay consistent, his voice is naturally really deep, and this just gets rly amplified in his big eel form (though for reference, its nowhere near as incomprehensible sounding as the world serpent from GOW)

Graves on the other hand, keeps her voice register but when she's in her leviathn form her voice comes through with a filter kinda. Like when you apply the echo effect backwards on an audio clip

Midas for example becomes almost unable to speak when he transforms. Since he's already naturally unable to speak (his head is gone), all his words come through a radio speaker he stuck in his helmet and that the mold has grown over. When he transforms this speaker is just too small to make sounds through the mass, and even if it could the signal would be extremely distorted.

Adri on the other hand is a special case because his voice is fake just like everything else about him. If he's choosing to sound like a normal person, then he can choose to sound like a normal person even when dialing up the monstrous appearance to 1000. This doesnt apply to voices either he can just, make any noise he wants to as a mimic. Other people's voices, creaking floors, distant howling, all of that. Whatever he chooses usually hinges on it being the most unsettling choice

Whenever I draw his black speech bubbles he's definitely not speaking with a human sounding voice x) Though I can't really describe what it sounds like in my head. I, too, try to avoid horror that "could" happen to me bc like hey, IM me, i dont want that! but the exorcist is like 'whoaaghg this dude brings back an amulet from the desert and the devil posesses a child and also there is a ouija board!!!' and its like ok well that wont happen to me, for i do not have any amulets from the desert, nor do i fuck w ouija boards.

i think theres an inherant and unavoidable change in how it's recieved by the audience bc 50 literal years have happened since it was made, also! i can 10000% see why it fucked people up real bad in the 70s bc there was nothing like it before, but sooo much more different horror has been made since (and been influenced by!) the exorcist.

all in all it was great imo and recommend watching even beyond it being a horror classic. the lil girls performance is crazy good, the slowburn rules, its very 70s, and also the ♥︎ sfx ♥︎

an investigative journalist and the head of a magazine named millennium is convicted of publishing a fradulent article defaming some billionaire guy and decides to step down from his position. he's then hired by an elderly former CEO of a powerful family enterprise to travel to some tiny ass town in the middle of nowhere to investigate what happened to this old man's great niece who disappeared 40 years ago. mikael the journalist accepts the assignment, not expecting to find anything new at this point, but is drawn in deep into the vanger family's troubling history and broken relationships with each other. his research is eventually joined by a very weird young woman named lisbeth who turns out to be one hell of a hacker, and together they not only solve the lost niece's case but also reveal how that billionaire that mikael originally wrote about is even shadier than expected.

➕ this is really three stories in one: the story of mikael and millennium and the wennerström guy he wrote the article about; the story of the vanger family and the mystery of harriet's disappearance; and the story of lisbeth, her past and present, a total deep dive into what made her the kind of person she now is and how she operates. and i looove that, i really enjoy layered storytelling. when you go in, you don't know what to expect and there's the intrigue about mikael's sentencing, then you're thrown a curveball about this really complicated family, all while lisbeth's story kinda plays in the background seemingly unrelated. this captured my attention wholly and completely.

➕ i adore lisbeth's character. she's implied to be neurodivergent, a total bad bitch who doesn't take shit from anyone, defies all expectations, is independent and resourceful despite nobody having any faith in her. she gets back at her tormentors in the most satisfying way.

➕ the vanger family deserves its own plus point because i just love stories about weird families with internal conflict and tons of skeletons in the closet and the protag has to kind of dig it all out because nobody is willing to speak but it's obvious there's something very wrong about these people. though the truth about them turned out to be so gross instead of just weird, it's really off-putting but

➕ i liked that this was a mystery solved by a journalist and a… well whatever lisbeth is, because i'm not really a fan of police or detective novels. i mean i've read some good ones but i dunno, i always prefer stories about laypeople solving mysteries and crime.

➕ this is soooo swedish.

➖ could have been a bit shorter, some parts kinda dragged on. although i liked the ending, there were like 3 hours left of the audiobook by the time the harriet mystery had been solved which made me kinda… okay time to speed the audio up to 1.25x because this is gonna drag the fuck oooon.

➖ content-wise this gets really really gruesome. it was almost a bit much even for me.

➖ not a minus about the book itself but i find it in such poor taste that the english translation is titled "the girl with the dragon tattoo" which is a reference to a very minor detail about lisbeth and it just does nothing for this novel or anything in general. i can understand maybe they didn't want to call this "men who hate women" (which is the literal translation they kept for the finnish title) for international marketing purposes because it would deter so much of the male target audience lmao (i don't think it does in sweden and finland??? just saying). but the original title packs way more of a punch because that's exactly what this book is about, it's about misogynism. and that title is so self aware. but no, instead you make it "the girl with the dragon tattoo" and lisbeth isn't even the main character. she's a secondary one, a sidekick to mikael. this book isn't about her per se and most definitely not about her tattoos. what a stupid choice. i don't want to watch the film versions because i worry they made this way more about her than it should be.

⭐ score: 4- -- one of the better mysteries i've read in a long time for sure. i don't think i'll go for the sequels though, i had my share of mikael and lisbeth already. the audiobook was like 18 hours long.

Let him into a grungy movie!!!! This isn't really a genre but Lazarus NEEDS to be a Lost Boys vampire he would thrive SO MUCH. On that note, urban fantasy or perhaps something that's more pure horror than Barovia (He would thrive as a monster, but like, for the WORST reasons bc he probably wouldn't have the morality chain he has now)

What genre would your OC do badly in but it would be hilarious or interesting to watch?

G-dddddd it would be so funny to throw him in a dating sim/slice of life, or more light hearted fantasy/slapstick because any type of focus on feelings would knock him WAY off balance and the "rules" of the genre would prevent him from physically injuring anyone else lmao

If your OC wrote fanfiction (or if they already do), what type? (fix fic, ship, crossovers, AUs, smut, etc.)

Hmmmmm... He's a VERY serious little guy, but going off of "drow like playing intense and days long strategy board games" type hc, I think if he wrote fic, it would be really heavy on the politics and really crunchy world building, with the characters as more of a vehicle for that. He'd be VERY intense about the lore but any fic would have to have like 800000 layers of separation from the rest of his life because NO ONE CAN KNOW HE DOES THAT.

How would your OC do in the last book/movie/tv show/game/etc. you read/watched/played?

LMFAO NOT HASR'THAL ON GAME CHANGERRRRRR,,, He'd 100% get way too worked up and competitive about it- absolutely the type to have Brennan level unhinged rants, for SURE (but he's 4'7 so it's far more comical)

In a murder mystery, what role would your OC play? (e.g. detective, sidekick, wacky suspect, rival investigator who gets in thew way, red herring, true culprit)

....Can he be the victim~? (I kid, I kid- Bo don't beat me up,,,) He’s a smart cookie! Resourceful and quick minded, but he doesn't really enjoy the spotlight, so I think he would fall into a sidekick roll. Keev is good for tagging along and observing, then bouncing ideas off of others, but he doesn't have a lot of faith in his ability to read people, so I don't think he would want to be the main detective accusing anyone of anything.

Ardezo:

What media does your character enjoy? (For characters in settings that aren’t modern Earth, could be media from their home setting or what they’d like in a modern Earth AU)

He likes reading in his main setting (ayyyyy Faerun)- lots of books and scrolls and music (Not too much exciting stuff when you live in a dragon death temple, though there's lots of access and contact with the Underdark, so maybe drow parties lol). In a more modern earth type setting, he'd probably be REALLY into things like Lockpicking Lawyer, Fascinating Horror, REALLY love audio books so he can listen to books while he works on stuff (different poisons or toxins, maybe histories of how to use that). He'd be REALLY into practical special effects and honesty probably be fascinated by fursuiters. (He's not ashamed by any stretch, about his scales, but he's a little annoyed he can't display or hide them with easy like his siblings can, so sfx transformations would be his sh-t lol)

Not particularly for Edelweiss! My main influence for him was making the cutest, most pastel and fluffy looking murderb-bard~ (who's going to suspect the airhead who dresses in pinks and gold of being a hag-blooded college of whispers bard~?)

What type of Avatar The Last Airbender-type bender (or non-bender) would your OC be? Any bending specialties?

So lesse.... Ironically for my dumb drow and vampire, I think Hasr'Thal and Lazarus are probably fire benders. They're both aggressive and driven (to different degrees) and while Hasr'Thal prefers to use his spells to assist the others in his party more than directly fight, his personal beliefs are rooted in passion and ruthless motion forward. Lazarus is more straightforward- he's a monk, he's fast, violent, and gives into his base instincts probably too much, and he is GARBAGE at defense.

Keev and Edelweiss (despite being a direct blood descendant of an ICE hag) are probably air benders- Keev tries SO hard to be a pacifist and focuses his spell choices on things like slow or haste, with abjuration thrown in, he hits hard WHEN he does, but he focuses far more on evasion. Edelweiss is a bit more bombastic, but he's been flighty and nomadic almost his whole life, blowing in and out of town on a whim. His spells (outside of his innate ice abilities) are mainly focused on causing fear, listening to things unseen, and spying. An argument could be made for waterbending but tbh that's a bit clichéd?

Who WOULD be a waterbender would be Fion (boy's probably a little TOO into bloodbending, honestly- he's dancing way too close to taboo spirit work right now and then there's all the murder...) Ardezo is also probably a waterbender- tempted to say he might be a non-bender, with his complex about ONLY being a draconic sorcerer when his siblings are half dragons, but he IS still very magic and his style is very "hang back, don't be seen, poison or strike when they're distracted" and he worships a dual God of death and undeath, so fluidity in all things are his motto

What would be your OC’s My Little Pony cutie mark?

I was never really into MLP so these might be funky.... Hasr'Thal has an ouroboros (He's mad about it but that's what you get when you want to end the cycle of violence with an act of incredible violence) Lazarus might not HAVE one yet, or it just recently showed up, as a red vine climbing into stars. Keev has maybe a pie, or a simple hearth (bc despite being an adventurer, all he wants is to be a baker). Edelweiss also probably had a late.... branding?? But it's a storm cloud ;3c Ardezo just wants to have stronger dragon blood so baaaaaad that his is probably just a shadow dragon silhouette lol

LMAO almost all of them are! BUT we've done games inside games or thought about it before so I can answer what class they would PLAY in addition to what they are lol

Keev- He's a shadow sorcerer (with a few levels in abjuration wizard) and also a forever DM when he ran it IC, but if he were to make an idealized version of himself, he would be a Paladin of Devotion - though he wouldn't draw his power from a God, just faith in other people

Lazarus- Shadow monk! We did a one-shot where I DM'd as Laz but he would make an assassin rogue (because he's a cool edgy boy~)

Hasr'Thal- Warlock, mainly pacted with an archfey but he kinda maybe made a second pact with the Void that desires the heat death of the universe oops??? If he made a character it would be an INSUFFERABLE wizard because he's definitely not bitter at ALL about not getting to finish schooling to become one himself.

Edelweiss is, as listed above, a College of Whispers bard, and would probably play the same in a game, though he might play a "nicer" college (and maybe not use a fey type race)

Ardezo- draconic sorcerer~ (shadow dragon lineage- NOT a black dragon thank you very much) He might play around with rolling up a rogue, but he'd multiclass bc I think he would miss the magic lol
