p.s. this is the first time I write about kpop on this blog, I hope you like it! You never thought you would be in a serious relationship with a K-pop artist. Of course, you've been a fan of Korean culture since you were 13 and a friend introduced you to the concept of K-pop, dramas and all the rest.

You were lucky enough to have well-off parents who let you study Korean from the age of 13 because you had become completely obsessed with everything about Korea.

But obviously your life didn't revolve around just that, of course you went to shows whenever you could, once you even got a trip to South Korea as a gift to go to a fan meeting.

But one thing that the idol life showed you was that you also wanted to be an artist, you were in doubt between acting and music. After all, you were good at both. In school plays you always got the lead.

Your mother played the piano and from a very early age taught you everything she knew about music, so one of your hobbies, and also a form of therapy, was writing songs.

When you were 18, a family friend who worked for Netflix knew he had a casting call that was a perfect fit for you. You took the test, with zero faith that you would pass.

But it ended up happening, the series was about a fantasy world, four wizard friends fighting an evil entity, you had a lot of fun recording the first season, you made incredible friends, but you never thought the series would be successful.

Until it exploded. And it became the number 1 series on Netflix, with everyone talking about it. And obviously you and your co-stars started doing press tours.

- Hey guys! Welcome back to the Tonight Show! Today we have a very special guest, a talented young man who is having great success with the new Netflix series: Witchbound Chronicles. Let's welcome the amazing Y/N! How are you, Y/N?

- Hi Jimmy! I'm great, thanks for having me here.

- It's a pleasure to have you. Firstly, congratulations on the success of your series! What has the experience been like seeing your face everywhere?

- It's surreal, Jimmy. I never imagined things would happen so quickly. I'm just enjoying every moment.

- This is amazing! Tell us a little about the series. What can fans expect?

- Well, the series is called "Witchbound Chronicles" and it takes place in a completely new world full of magic, fantastic creatures and lots of exciting twists. I play one of the main characters, a young man named Ethan, who discovers he has incredible magical abilities.

- This looks amazing! And what was the audition process like to get the role?

- It was a little crazy, actually. I auditioned without much expectation, and when I got the call that I had gotten the role, I couldn't believe it. It was a dream come true.

- And what was it like working with the cast and crew?

- Everyone was incredible. The cast is very talented, and the team behind the cameras did an incredible job bringing this magical world to life. I learned a lot from all of them.

- I'm sure fans would love to know if there are any funny or interesting behind-the-scenes stories you can share.

- Oh, definitely! One day, we were filming a scene with intense special effects, and one of the animatronics that plays the magical creatures ended up going out of control. It was hilarious to see everyone running for cover, but in the end, everything worked out, and the scene was incredible.

- And what can we expect from the future, Y/N? More projects on the small screen or maybe even the big screen?

- Absolutely, Jimmy! I love acting, and I hope to continue exploring different roles and challenges. Who knows what the future holds, right?

- Hey Y/N, our research team made some interesting discoveries on your social media. It seems like you're a big K-pop fan, is that right?

- Oh yes, Jimmy! I'm completely obsessed with K-pop, it's one of my passions.

- This is amazing! Any specific groups or artists that you really admire?

- For sure! I'm a big fan of Stray Kids.

- Oh, and our team also noticed that you have a certain “bias” as they say in K-pop at Felix! You've been expressing your crush on Felix a lot on social media. Any funny stories or embarrassing moments related to this?

- Well, now that you mention that this is public I would say that all my posts about Felix are kind of funny and embarrassing, actually. I try to keep it light and humorous, but of course, my friends always tease me a little about it.

- That is great! And if Felix or any of the Stray Kids were watching right now, what would you say to them?

- Wow, that's a tough question. I guess I would say how much they mean to me as an artist and as a person. Their work really inspires me, and I really admire their talent.

- I hope Felix sees this and who knows, maybe you can meet one day!

Some time later, on a live that Felix was doing, a fan asked if he had seen this interview.

Chat: Felix, did you see Jimmy Fallon's interview with Y/N, the actor from the series "Witchbound Chronicles"?

- Oh yeah! I saw! It was amazing. I couldn't stop smiling throughout the entire interview.

Months later, with the end of recording the first season of the series, and the end of the press conferences, you feel that it is time to return to music. You had loved that whole period of recording and promoting the series but you felt the urge to write about it all, to put it all in the form of music, and deep in your heart, you wanted to write about something, something that you thought was really silly. actually, but your mother always told you that music was made to express all your feelings.

Okay, you thought: now he's going to say that what I did was horrible, that it could cause gossip and horrible repercussions for his career. And so you will have ruined the mere chance of having a friendship with someone you admire.

But his response was very different from what you imagined.

- Yeah… I wanted to ask… if you want to go out with me, do you know after the awards?

The initial perplexity is replaced by a mixture of relief and surprise. You expected the worst, but here Felix is, not mentioning anything about the intense stares, but rather extending an invitation to hang out.

- Wow, of course, I would love to! It would be amazing. - You smile trying to hide your surprise.

Felix seems to relax a little, like he's relieved by his answer.

- Great so! Will be cool. The awards are going to be incredible, but I think after that we can relax a little, what do you think?

- I will love it!

He turns to leave the dressing room, and you stay there, processing the unexpected turn of events. What seemed like a potential uncomfortable situation turned into an invitation to hang out. Perhaps the intense looks were perceived differently by Felix.

Pairing: Liam Gallagher x fem!bassist reader

Plot: Liam's hatred for Blur runs deep. However, no matter how much he hates them and their stupid music - he cannot seem to hate their bassist.

Last Part

„Why now?“, Jimmy Fallon asks leaning back in his seat, his eyes on the two brothers. „The money.“, Noel jokes, while Liam can’t stop staring at the host in a mix of revulsion and annoyance. He was never the type to pretend to like someone. „It‘s not about the money, is it.”, Liam speaks up:” I missed sharing a stage with me brother, short and simple.”

After a few more minutes, Jimmy Fallon (now visibly intimidated) thanked them for stopping by and added a quick “Good luck on the tour.” But Liam continues his staring. It's something that Noel catches out of the corner of his eye. Some things never change, he reckons.

“This does feel like the old times.”, Noel scoffs softly as they walk down the hallway to their dressing rooms. “Don’t be such a buzzkill, will ya.”, Liam grins, throwing his arm around his brother's shoulders:” Ya love having me back.”

Noel wants to respond when suddenly a voice comes from around the corner that makes Liam stop dead in his tracks. “I don’t know, Damon.” Noel who also halts turns to look at him in confusion:” What’s wrong?”

It's like the world slows down when Blur comes into sight, chatting and laughing. And as if it’s the natural way of all things Liam and Y/N immediately make eye contact. She subconsciously grips Damon’s upper arm for support while a wave of emotions crashes over her. She nearly drowns.

“Well, well, well… look who it is.”, Liam’s voice is icy and distant. There’s a bitterness forming in the pit of his stomach… over how Y/N holds onto the blonde man, over the way she appears almost miserable to see him after all this time, and (it's probably the worst part) over the way she still looks so unbelievably beautiful. He scoffs and watches how she rolls her eyes.

“Let us through, Gallagher.”, Damon lets out, as he glances between the two brothers with a hint of exhaustion in his eyes. Liam’s face hardens further:” Oh yeah, yeah… you still just- just friends?” His index finger moves between Damon and Y/N. “Excuse me?!”, she asks letting go of the front singer. However, Liam just makes a mockery face at her:” Excuse me?! You know exactly what I am talking about.”

A heavy and dense silence falls over the hallway and Y/N tilts her head at Liam, as she studies his facial features. When suddenly the realization hits her like a truck:” Oh my god, you’ve got to be joking.” Noel and the others only stare at her in perplexity. “You still think Damon and I are a thing?! After all those fucking years?! Are you mental?!”

If Liam wasn't feeling as irritated as he already did, he might have felt a little more upset about her words, or perhaps he could have been more rational.

“Damon is still married to his wife! Stop acting like a dickhead!”, she takes an angry step towards him:” Do I have to remind you that he’s our fucking lead singer?!”

“Dickhead?! Oh excuse me that I never liked seeing you on stage with another man!”, Liam mirrors her, while rolling his shoulders back:” I just can’t help but wonder what actually goes on between the two of you.”

As soon as the words leave his lips, the fury on Y/N’s face turns into pure hurt. She blinks a few tears away:” Fuck you, Liam.”

And with that, she walks straight past him.

Liam doesn’t turn around to watch her, instead, he shuts his eyes for a second and murmurs something under his breath. “Damn, mate.”, Damon whispers and scoffs, although there’s a hint of disappointment in his eyes:” You still haven’t changed.”

The crowd cheered as you walked out to the live band’s music. You smiled at Jimmy and gave him a quick hug before sitting down in the chair across from his desk.

“Welcome back!” Jimmy said.

“Thank you! It’s good to be back. This is my first talk show in a while.”

“Since the birth of your daughter?”

You nodded with a smile on your face as the audience cheered again. “Since before she was born actually. I stopped when I was roughly seven months pregnant so that I could focus on the pregnancy and surviving the last few months.”

“And how is she doing?”

“She’s good! She’s a very happy baby. She rarely cries or fusses. She mostly sleeps through the night now which is a blessing.”

“And new dad is doing well?”

“Oh, he’s doing more than okay. He’s done this before so it’s nothing new for him at all.”

“It’s so crazy because no one even knew you two were together until you announced you were pregnant. Then you were suddenly married for like a year and you were about to have a baby. How did that happen?”

You smiled to yourself as you remembered back when you met Marshall for the first time.

It was the early 2000s and you were still struggling to break into the music industry. You had written, produced, and recorded a short EP in hopes of finding a record label to sign you, or that the EP would sell enough that you could be an independent artist.

Neither happened, and you were left discouraged and broke.

You couldn’t remember how exactly you came to meet Marshall. It was a party in LA with a bunch of prominent musicians and producers. Realistically, there was no reason for you to be there, but you were. It was probably another attempt at getting yourself signed to a real record label. You couldn’t remember for sure, but you could remember the handsome, bleach blonde stranger who approached you.

“Want to get some fresh air?”

You were speechless by his good looks, so all you could do was nod.

You followed him out the doors into the front garden of the place where the party was held. You took a deep breath, grateful for the cold air. It was a stark juxtaposition to the warm, stuffy feeling you felt inside the party.

The handsome stranger chuckled. “You looked like you needed that.”

“I did,” you said. “All these producers in there, I felt like I was going to pass out if any of them even spoke to me.”

“You looked a little out of place there. No offense.”

You shook your head. “None taken. I am very out of place here. I don’t even know why I’m here.”

“I’d assume you’re here for the same reason the rest of us are: to kiss ass so our music is released and our careers are successful.”

The two of you laughed together. The weight of the night felt like it had been lifted from your shoulders. After spending most of the night on your own, you were glad to talk to someone who didn’t seem like a stuck up, big time musician.

“My name is Marshall, by the way,” he said.

“(Y/N). It’s nice to meet you.”

The both of you talked for a while about what brought you to the party. Marshall told you that he was a rapper who had recently been signed with Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine. He was there that night mainly to make an appearance leading up to his first album coming out, although he wanted to be home with his daughter instead of at a “stuck up Hollywood party” (his words).

The mention of his daughter sparked your interest, and caused you to feel a tug in your chest for some reason. “You have a daughter?”

His face let up as he pulled his wallet from his pocket. “Yeah, her name is Hailie.”

He showed you the picture he kept of the little girl in his wallet. It was a picture of him holding a toddle that looked like a mirror image of him. You smiled at it, but still felt a little sad at seeing it.

Why am I upset that this man I literally just met is likely a family man?

“What about you?” he asked as he pocketed his wallet again. “What brings you to a big Hollywood music party?”

“Desperation,” you admitted. “I’m trying to get myself signed, to very little avail.”

“It’s not easy to get yourself signed and out there. It’s a lot of hard work and a lot of rejection.”

“You’re telling me. I spent so much of my savings to make this stupid demo EP and no one will even listen to it.”

“Wait, you made a whole EP on your own?”

“Yeah. I’ve been writing songs since I was a freshman, so when it came to pick one to record a demo with I had trouble. I ended up just making all of them into an EP. I was hoping I could sell it independently if I couldn’t get signed.”

“Do you have any copies with you?”

“Not tonight.”

Marshall pulled a pen from his pocket and grabbed your hand. You watched in confusion as he wrote something on it.

“That’s my address in Detroit,” he said. “Mail me a copy when you can. I want to hear it.”

You were so shocked that you weren’t sure what to say. You just nodded in response.

You spent the rest of the night with Marshall, just talking and enjoying his company. When you noticed the other guests were beginning to leave, you felt a little down. You didn’t want the night to end. You wanted to stay here and spend more time with Marshall. The more you got to know him, the more you found yourself growing close to him. You hoped he was feeling the same way about you.

“I guess we should get going before they kick us out of here,” he said.

You tried not to let your disappointment show. “Yeah, I guess you’re right.”

“Do you have a way out of here?”

You nodded. “I drove myself here, so my car is parked somewhere among that chaos. What about you?”

“Dre has a ride for me.”

Your shoulders slumped a little, but if Marshall noticed he didn’t say anything. “Well, it was nice to meet you. Thanks for keeping me company during this. If you hadn’t approached me, I probably would’ve gone home hours ago in a much worse mood than I’m currently in.”

“I’m glad I talked to you, too. You’re really cool, (Y/N).”

You smiled and put a hand out towards him, a lame attempt to stall having to part ways. You were shocked when Marshall ignored your handshake and instead brought you into a hug. You took in his warmth and the sweet scent that was coming off of him. It was so inviting that you wished this moment would last forever.

When Marshall pulled away, you both started to walk off in your own directions. Before you could get too far away, Marshall called over his shoulder, “Don’t forget to send me that EP!”

“I won’t!” you called back.

When Marshall was mostly out of sight, you excitedly raced back to your car. You checked your hand to make sure you hadn’t smudged the address he had given you before turning on your car and heading back to your apartment.

You were extremely glad you hadn’t discarded all the extra discs of your EP that hadn’t sold like you originally planned. You dug the box full of them out of your closet and took one to send to Marshall. You decided to include a little note with it as a way of hinting at him that you wanted to keep in touch beyond your moment at the party.

“I hope you enjoy the product of many weekends staying home to write songs and the majority of the money I had been saving since I was 16 years old. If you have any notes, or you just want to talk in general, here’s my number (xxx) xxx-xxxx”

You stuck the note onto the album case before packaging it and writing the address Marshall had given to you. You made sure it write it very clearly so that it wouldn’t get lost in the mail. The next morning, you got up and mailed the package, excitement running through you at the anticipation of Marshall calling you once he got it.

But he never did. You waited weeks and weeks, and soon those weeks became months and months. No calls, no messages, no nothing.

You would’ve been disappointed if you hadn’t finally gotten signed to a record label and finally broke out onto the music scene. And if you hadn’t met your first husband in that time.

Years passed and your career was thriving. You were one of the top pop artists, the most desired to collaborate with or to go see in concert. It was the type of success you had never even dreamed of when you were sat in your bedroom writing songs as a teenager.

You didn’t cross paths with Marshall again for a very long time. For the most part, you had managed to forget all about him. Of course you were constantly seeing his name in the media or hearing his voice on the radio. He had become one of the most successful rappers of all time since the night you two had met all those years ago, so it was hard to completely avoid him. But you had pushed that night out of your mind for the most part. You figured if it meant so little to him that he didn’t even call you or anything, that it didn’t need to mean that much to you either.

It wasn’t until the beginning of the 2010s that you ran into Marshall again. You were on the way to a photoshoot when you decided to stop into a near by fast food place and grab something to eat. It was mostly empty due to it being so early in the morning, but you still kept your head down in hopes of not being recognized and swarmed.

You were just receiving your order when a familiar voice asked, “(Y/N)?”

You turned around and nearly dropped your bag of food on the floor.

Marshall.

He was much different than the man you had met all those years ago. His bleach blonde hair was grown out into his natural brown color, his face had aged slightly but not by much, and he had considerably more tattoos than he had that night you met. But, at the same time, he still looked the same somehow.

“Hey,” you said. “It’s...uh...it’s nice to see you.”

“Yeah. Yeah, you too.”

The tension could be cut with a knife. It lingered in the air for a long time before one of the workers asked you to step aside so they could serve another customer that was waiting.

“Do you...do you want to sit for a while, maybe?” Marshall asked. “Maybe catch up?”

You debated on telling him no, that you were running late for an important photoshoot, but neither of those things were true. You still had plenty of time to get to your photoshoot, and it was just for a magazine article that was being written about you. You’d also be lying if you said you weren’t curious as to why he hadn’t called you before now.

So, you both found an empty table tucked away from the rest of the restaurant and sat down. You opened your bag and started to eat the food you had ordered, an attempt to stall having to talk to him as long as you could.

“I’m glad your career took off after,” Marshall said, breaking the silence first. “Your music is really good. You deserve all the hype you’re getting.”

“Thanks,” you responded. “You’re not doing too bad yourself.”

He shrugged. “I feel like I’m given maybe too much praise, but I’ll take it while I still can. Not everyone is lucky to have a continuously great career that spans as long as mine has so far.”

You wanted to ask him so bad why he hadn’t called. You wanted to ask if he ever even listened to the EP, or if it had gotten lost in the mail and he didn’t receive it. You wanted to know why it took so long for the two of you to get back in touch.

He answered one of your unasked questions for you when he said, “I did listen to that demo EP after.”

“Ah, so it did make it to you,” you said.

“Yeah it did. It was really good, especially for something that you put together on your own.”

“Thanks.” There was a brief pause before you forced yourself to ask, “Did you ever read the note I sent with it?”

“I did.”

“Then why didn’t you ever call?”

The question was out there, but you wished desperately to take it back. Marshall sat back in his chair and let out a sigh and you had a feeling you may not like the answer he was about to give you.

“I should’ve,” he finally said after a while. “You didn’t deserve to be left waiting like that. I really wanted to call you, I swear. But I was...I was really fucked up (Y/N). I had so many issues, so much that I had to work through. I was in a shitty relationship with Hailie’s mom, I was legally fighting my own mother, I lost my best friend, I developed a really bad addiction that almost killed me. It was so much, but all I wanted was to call you and to talk to you because that one night that we had together made me feel the most normal that I had ever felt since getting signed with Dre. But I couldn’t bring you into the life I was living. It wouldn’t be fair to you. You deserved better than what I was at that point in time.”

You sat in silence, taking in what Marshall had told you. You had heard he had gone to rehab after nearly dying from a drug overdose, but you hadn’t known just how bad things were at the time. It made sense why Marshall didn’t call you. There was no way you could’ve known all of this, but now you felt bad for being so upset over him not getting in touch with you. It seemed like such a trivial thing now considering what Marshall had gone through.

“And it seems like you got that better person,” Marshall added. “I heard you got married a few years back.”

You let out a humorless laugh. “Yeah, no that definitely was not better. The fucker cheated on me a year into our marriage. I served him the divorce papers immediately after I found out. Apparently he’s still with the bitch though, so good for them I guess.”

“I’m so sorry, (Y/N).”

You shook your head. “It’s fine. It’s in the past. I wrote an incredibly well received album about it.”

Marshall chuckled at your joke and you smiled at him. All the tension had eased off between you and now it felt like no time had passed between that first night that you met. You felt like you were falling back into those conversations, into that playfulness, into that moment of happiness you had experienced with him.

“What about you and Kim?” you asked. “How are things there?”

Marshall waved away your comment. “Long over. We’re working on being more civil with one another for the girls’ sake, but there’s nothing romantic there anymore. There hasn’t been for a long time.”

You felt your heart flutter. So, we’re both single at the same time.

No, wait, I can’t be thinking like that. We’re only just reconnecting. It’s way too soon to be trying to jump his bones again. Besides, I don’t even know if he’d like me like that.

As if reading your thoughts, Marshall asked, “Are you busy tonight?”

You shook your head in response, but then stopped. “Wait, I mean I do have a photoshoot in about an hour, but I don’t think it’ll last too long into the night.”

“Do you want to - I don’t know - see a movie or something?”

“I-I’d love to.”

Marshall took his phone from his pocket and passed it to you. “Here, program your number in.”

You did as he asked and passed the phone back to him. “Do you promise to actually call me this time?”

He chuckled and nodded his head.

You were reluctant to part away again, but you eventually had to in order to get to your photoshoot on time. You bid farewell to Marshall and left the restaurant, a new bounce in your step.

“And that’s the story,” you said to Jimmy. “We went on a couple of dates, made things official. He proposed about two years ago and we got married in secret shortly after. We wanted to keep things lowkey because Marshall is such a private person, but it’s hard to keep a pregnancy quiet when I found out just as my next album was in the works meaning I’d be doing interviews and potentially a tour with a developing baby bump.”

“Yeah, I think if you came out here with a bump out of nowhere after seemingly being single for so long, we’d all have many questions,” Jimmy said. “But that’s such a cute story.”

“It’s a tale as old as time. Girl meets boy, girl likes boy, girl and boy lose touch as their careers take off, girl and boy reconnect and start a romance.”

“There’s some incredibly specific parts in there, but yeah overall it’s basically a classic love story.”

Song Review: Norah Jones - “Running” (Fallon)

One has to believe the producers of “the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” were flashing the applause sign as Norah Jones performed “Running” for the studio audience and the folks at home in TV Land.

How else to explain why the audience would interrupt an unimaginative pop song with bursts of cheers not once, not twice, but thrice in less than four minutes?

It wasn’t for the solo flourishes. There aren’t any in the lead single from Visions, which comes out March 8.

It wasn’t for deep lyrics. There aren’t any in the song so obviously and desperately seeking radio play.

Sure, Jones’ voice is a rare gem of an instrument. But she doesn’t do anything particularly different on this one and certainly not anything that would cause an audience to spontaneously combust.

Jones is undoubtedly a special artist. But there’s nothing special about “Running” - live or in studio - or the also-previously released “Staring at the Wall.”

Therefore, Sound Bites believes the applause was for the sign rather than the singer.

Ian Adelaide Mason Pearce - This beauty is actually Langston’s older sibling (only by 2 years) and is the first to be ousted out for their…uniqueness. Lord Albert Pearce has had three sons, none of which he’s been able to deal with much to the dismay and annoyance of many of those around them. Adelaide or Adela, uses Mason as their last name after they were forced to drop Pearce when their father cut them off and stripped them of any title related to the family. Apparently the name Adelaide is actually their great grandmother’s name from their mother side, “She was as elegant as Audrey Hepburn and deserves to be honored”

They are 36, and actually live in the same small village Deacon does, around the corner from his home. Apparently they had come for tea when he had been getting settled, fell in love with the area and had a home built as well, on the other side of the village though, oddly closer to the parish. Guy Buchanan had a tongue in cheek sign made for the yard that says Here There be Faeries Adela introduces themselves to Ali by baking a lavender lemon loaf and comes to visit the first time Deacon brings her (before the yacht incident

Gender fluid, they express their gender as whatever they please, whenever they please. They are bisexual, and prefer women though they have been with both, including Niall a few years ago. Very friendly and genuinely sweet, Adela works primarily as a professional photographer for the royal family, as well as working with Charlotte Moore in Black Moon Cosmetics, I think they do the photos for it though I’m not entirely sure.

Joseph Skinner - While I know Skinner is not his real last name (at least I don’t think so) he takes on the moniker when he joins the Suicide Kings as the lead guitarist, taking over when Wolf steps back into being the lead singer and I’m not entirely sure what happens to Scott. I think he stays in the band as a secondary guitar player but I’m not sure.

Arthur Noble - Formerly a professor at Brown university he takes a significant pay decrease when he becomes Vice Principal of O Fallon East in Illinois. He does this after seeing how hollow the college age kids are and wants to find a way to help them actually succeed in their future rather than just be another cog in the wheel. Arthur has studied Sociology, Psychology and English Literature, the last was his specialty at Brown. He is kind and genuinely cares about the kids he’s taking care of, similar to Casper he wants to see people succeed and actually have some kind of passion going forward in their lives. He’s recently divorced but still wears his wedding ring, so I don’t think he’s quite ready to let that go.

Casper Barnes - eldest brother to Elias (who uses their mothers last name, Sharpe, rather than their father’s name) and Cornelius. Casper has a very big heart and seeks to make schools safe for the kids under his care, he feels responsible for each and every one of them and considers what happened with the former vice principal a personal slight in his judgement. He has set O Fallon up to be a test school for new education practices and tries to make sure everyone is getting the best they can possibly get. After his middle brother’s passing he took over as guardian for Lilly though she does better on her own, so he’s there if she needs him for anything but doesn’t force her to live with him.

Christopher Reigns - Christopher has been around for a while, a former sex addict turned psychiatrist and therapist for the same issues, he currently lives and works in New York City close to the rest of his degenerate family. After the drama with his younger brother Ethan, Christopher takes over taking care of Ethan’s son Tanner and picks up where he left off with Hannah Lee as well. He seems to be one of the few Reigns that has their head on correctly, he went through his trauma and addictions and managed to come out on top of them.

Eirondyr Thalasane - one of the elves of the Woodland Realm of Murkwood (formerly Brightwood) and also one of Valenduil’s closer friends. He is actually older than Val, formerly being one of those closer to Legolas’ age. When Legolas chose to take his human wife with him to the undying realm, leaving their half-blood son behind in the care of his grandfather, Eirondyr (sometimes called Raine due to one of his spells) promised to keep an eye on him. While older, he acts as though he is still young and doesn’t work so much as a mentor as he does just a comrade. Eirondyr is an arcanist, practicing arcane magic and a magister of glamour, he will occasionally make his ears disappear so he can travel amongst the world of men. He’s also been known to change the size of certain items, more often than not as a prank. He chooses, when Thranduil makes the proclamation that someone should pick up the quest to help Sara and her group, to go with them and Val, to help them traverse the destruction that is Middle Earth. He has connections to the Hobbits and the world of men as well, in Bard and a mysterious boatsman called The Blackwald (Halfdan)

Gage Robards - Gage’s real name is Gabriel Toussaint, he is the “lost” brother of the Toussaint sisters and has, for the last 10 years or so, been somewhat trapped inside his own mind. I don’t remember exactly what happened to Gage, he was put into a mental hospital by a member of their family and locked away there for something he saw and while there he had electro-shock therapy performed, which caused him to lose his ability to speak. Over the years, he came into the care of Sylvia Summers and is currently living in NYC with her. He has also learned sign language and does some speech therapy but he chooses most times not to speak because his vocal cords have been damaged as well. Gage has some memories of his sisters, and does still want to get back in touch with them. (he was sitting in my head the other day feeding the birds from a loaf of bread in Central Park)

This creature doesn’t have a name yet, or at least hasn’t given me one yet but he is where the “super soldier serum” behind Project Wildfire comes from. He is actually a Hunter that was captured by the CIA by a former member of the early Section who shared with them what is going on behind the scenes, and told them that taking control of the darkness would mean better survival in the future. The Hunter’s blood has been used to alter and create the soldiers and failed experiments including Drayton and the rest of the hitmen as well as the pyromancer Badger and a handful of others. When Drayton calls on Kristy for her final job with them, they apparently find the ragged creature in a room, spitting all manner of obscenities at them. It’s against Kristy’s warning that they let him go, something that will come back to haunt later, as he makes a bee-line for Cirian wanting to punish humans for what they’ve done to him.

Adrian Wilde - Professor at Harvard when he meets Crystal Townsend and against his better judgment strikes up an affair with her, he can’t really explain how it happens but he falls for her hard. When she expresses to him her fear in falling in love with him, he cradles her in his arms, combing his fingers through her hair and tells her to fall, he’ll always be there to catch her. Adrian originally wanted to be an author but never managed to make his stories translate into full blown books, instead he teaches creative writing, jokingly saying ‘those who can’t, teach’ but the reality is he is still writing and working on finishing his first book as his and Crystal’s relationship continues. While slightly concerned for the safety of his job while she’s a student, when she turns fully into her music he feels safer being more open about their relationship.

Aryn Hobb - Aryn is an alien, first and foremost, having been on Earth since the late 90s, or somewhere there abouts, they were recruited into the very earliest form of Section and worked as a scientist for them after being brought in from NASA where they had originally worked as an astrophysicist. Aryn is a sebacean like Maxwell later on and actually is able to help with his assimilation into human culture a bit better (though it helps that Maxwell has actually been on Earth once before, even if it was back in the 1880s) Working for Section has helped Aryn blend in a bit more with the human race, feeling absolutely no desire to return to their people, as they were deemed less than by a tribunal of Commandants. Exile is one of the worst things for their people, as it separates them from their own, and being alone is unhealthy for them. Aryn stole a ship, rather than be cast out from their people and used wormhole technology to warp to this version of Earth C-139 (our earth, it’s apparently not one of the more popular Earths to travel to as it’s technologically inferior to most of the others in the alter-verse) Assuming correctly that they could hide there and because humans and Sebaceans are so closely related to one another, with only internal differences (and lifespan, they can typically live for about 700 years) most people wouldn’t pick up on without getting too intimate.

When Aryn comes to work for the original Section they are figured out by the medical tech Avery and they come clean out of concern of being used and abused by these humans. Instead they find friends there and take a special interest in both Avery and later Justice. Aryn uses their knowledge of weaponry to create a brand new arsenal of weapons and “toys” used by Justice and the rest of the teams. In particular the holo-training lab and more recently some very interesting explosives. Outside of Section, Aryn has a very normal life, they have an apartment with a cat given to them by Justice’s friend Adriana, and spend their downtime with a small handful of friends. Generally they identify as non-binary, as it’s easier to explain their appearance, though their voice is incredibly deep.
