Shoto had ben invited home again to stay the weekend while Endeavor was out of town. He had only arrived an hour ago and was laying on one of the couches as his brother and sister went to put a store bought pizza in the oven for convenience sake.

The bored boy was flicking through channels on the tv, looking for something to watch as he waited. But then he heard Fuyumi yell something, followed by something metal clattering to the floor along with a little, “Fuyumi, noho!” From Natsuo.

Shoto sat up halfway, looking into the kitchen to see Fuyumi scribbling at Natsuo’s side’s as they both stumbled around the kitchen like small children as Natsuo looked like he was trying to keep his arms up. Shoto found his curiosity getting the better of him, he set the remote on the coffee table and stood up to go peak around the doorway into the kitchen.

He watched for a moment until Fuyumi noticed, “Oh! Hello, Shoto!” She said and received a light, playful shove from Natsuo.

“Hello, uhm- what was all that sound a second ago?” Shoto asked, suddenly shy because he did see what happened, and knew that he wanted included in whatever just happened. Fuyumi smiled a little.

“Just playing a little game we’ve been doing for a while, before you were born actually.” She explained, picking up a pizza pan from the floor. Shoto understood the metal clang now.

Shoto nodded, his shyness only rising as he rehearsed what he was about to say in his head, “Thats cool. Can- ..can I play too then? The game, thing?” He stuttered out as he wrung his hands.

Fuyumi and Natsuo shared a look then smiled softly at Shoto. “Yeah, of course little bro. Pizza can wait a minute” Natsuo said, coaxing Shoto out of the doorway and back towards the living room with Fuyumi following behind.

“Here, lay down.” Fuyumi said, sitting on the floor and placing a pillow on it near her for Shoto to lay his head on. Shoto was confused but listened, fiddling with his hands a bit. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t nervous laying between his two siblings knowing that whatever this game was involved tickling.

“Now, there’s only one rule to this game. You gotta keep your arms up.” Natsuo explained, poking Shoto’s arm a few times before he slowly lifted his arms up above his head.

He fought back a giddy smile as they both held their hands up above him. That was enough to make Shoto want to cover up his sides and roll away. But he wanted to be a part of this game.

“Nooho.” Shoto softly giggled as they ever so slowly brought their hands down and began poking and lightly tickling along his sides and belly. The vulnerable and exposed position combined with surprisingly gentle tickles was doing a good job of driving Shoto up the wall.

Natsuo tickled just below one of Shoto’s underarms and chuckled slightly as he barely put his arm down for a moment before forcing them back up, “Nohohohot thehehehere! Noho fahahair!”

“Not here? Well then how about here?” Natsuo asked and dug his fingers into Shoto’s belly and was perfectly happy with the little scream of laughter he briefly got before Shoto dissolved back into giggles.

“Nohohoho! Thahats wohohohorse! NahaHAHAT!” Shoto’s giggles turned into actual laughter when Fuyumi began pinching around his knees and lower thighs.

“Oh, did I find a bad spot, Shoto?” Fuyumi asked, skittering her nails along the side of Shoto’s knee. He lightly kicked his leg out.

“NOHOhohoHOHO. Ihit- MeheHEHEhean!” Shoto’s giggles were all over the place and he was slowly bringing his arms down without thinking.

Natsuo gave Shoto a look, “Didn’t you want us to do this?” He asked, giving Shoto’s stomach a small pinch. Shoto just squeaked, nearly completely limp now as he gradually moved his arms down to his sides.

“Nohohohope! Dehefinitely nohohot!” Shoto giggled as small laughter induced tears started to prick at the corners of his eyes.

Shoto made it another minute before completely bringing his arms down to hug his stomach and he turned onto his side. Actual laughter was replaced by breathy giggles as Fuyumi and Natsuo stopped tickling him, Natsuo getting up to grab Shoto some water.

“Are you alright, Shoto?” Fuyumi asked, gently rubbing his back to help him calm down. Shoto just nodded and appreciated the comfort.

“Yeheah. Ihihit wahas fun soho.” Shoto spoke, the rest of his leftover giggles wearing off as Natsuo came back with a glass of water. They helped him sit up.

“We’re glad then. We’ll be sure to include you in more things.” Natsuo spoke and patted Shoto’s back a little. Shoto just gave a small shy chuckle as he sipped his water.

“I look forward to that then.” Shoto nodded and after a moment, he was left in the living room again as his siblings resumed making dinner in the kitchen.

“W-Wahahahahahahait – plehehehehehehease, guys!”

Natsuso smirked playfully down at his little brother who – thanks to his and Fuyumi’s efforts – was currently half-curled in on himself, giggling crazily as they scribbled and scratched across his torso and waist.

“Wait for what? Huh?” he teased, deftly catching Todoroki’s wrist when it came down protectively, gently wiggling into his underarm. “Weren’t you practically begging us to tickle you just a minute ago?”

Even lit by only a flashlight, Todoroki’s face clearly turned pink at the insinuation. “I dihihihihid nohohohohohohot!”

“Hmm…Fuyumi, wouldn’t you say that Shoto acting all cute and leaving himself wide open was invitation enough for us to play around a little bit?”

“I believe it was,” their sister replied, giggling along with Todoroki as she pinched his sides. “After all, if he kept his arms above his head and kept looking at us like that, how could we not want to tickle him?”

Todoroki whined, squirming to the side when his sister tickled his ribs, then trying to pull his arm down when his brother scribbled in his armpit. He blushed furiously, but couldn’t bring himself to protest any of this. He hadn’t exactly been trying to tempt them into tickling him by laying in the grass with his arms behind his head, but…he hadn’t exactly not been trying to, either.

“Ehehehehehehehe plehehehehehehehease!” he begged, heart racing in anticipation when both of his older siblings suddenly grabbed an arm and lay it flat on the ground so he was almost in a T pose. They lay gently on top of his limbs, pinning him, and shot him mischievous smiles. Todoroki gasped, giggling helplessly even though they weren’t touching him yet. “Ah! W-Wahahahait, wait!”

“For what, Shoto?” Fuyumi cooed, dragging a single fingertip down the short length of his underarm, making him jerk and cackle briefly. “Would it really help you if we waited?”

“Or would you rather just get on with it, little bro?” Natsuo asked, repeating the gesture on his other side.

Todoroki shivered, glancing at each of them in turn, his giddiness nearly overwhelming. He lifted his gaze to the stars they’d all been observing and chatting about together beforehand, then squeezed his eyes shut and murmured, “Just do it already.”

Needing no further invitation, Natsuo and Fuyumi each began to scribble into his armpits with purpose, and Todoroki pressed his lips together defiantly for all of three seconds before he couldn’t help himself and the first waves of laughter spilled out, followed by useless squirming and pleading.

“Nohohohohohohohoooo! Plehehehehehehehehease, it’s so bahahahahahahahahad!”

His siblings merely exchanged grins.

“And yet, you’re not asking us to stop~” Natsuo teased.

“So we’ll just have to keep going, little brother~” Fuyumi added.

Todoroki lay giggling and laughing beneath the stars for a while after that, but he hadn’t felt so content and loved in a long time. It was worth it.

Amnesia!Dabi & AtLA Todorokis

My tablet has decided to be finicky, so submitting this all in a big chunk-

1) AtLa Todorokis

(Assuming CC!Canon)

Toya just looking at Princess “I Must Please My Dad And Be The Best!” Azula, and going “oh, you’re in for a bad time.” Somehow, he and Azula end up sparring, and then screaming and sobbing all over each other. 

Fuyumi and Rei being “dismissed” is less “Woman” and more that the Fire Nation is a very militaristic and power centred society, so the demure housewives get ignored. Jokes on them, by the end of the first week Rei has blackmail on every member of Ozai’s cabinet, and Fuyumi has the undying loyalty of most of his staff.

Natsuo is less “God, how primitive” and more “Ok, I get that you don’t have access to the same technology, but here’s how to make a very simple freezer so these medicines last longer”. Also “ok, I’m like … 80% sure that this plant is the same one where I’m from, in which case you should stop using it, and use this one instead, it’s less addictive”. Or, alternately, “Oh, so this plant does all this cool stuff, isn’t addictive, and grows like mad? Neat, how many seeds can I buy?”

Shoto takes one look at Zuko, decides “Ah, yes. This must be another version of me from an alternate reality.” Zuko … doesn’t really know what to do with that, but the kid seems alright, all things considered. Shoto also kind of … smacks Zuko in the face (metaphorically) cause part of the problem is that Zuko is surrounded by politicians and manipulative power-mongers. Everybody keeps talking around problems, or making Zuko second-guess himself, meanwhile Shoto “What Is A Filter?” Todoroki is like, “I get where you’re coming from, but that was a dick move.”

Enji is gritting his teeth the entire time, cause like. They’re in a strange place, they have to play by the rules until they figure out how to get home. But the more time he spends with Ozai, the more he wants to punt this smug bastard into the sun, and he has to keep reminding himself why that might be a bad idea.

Finally, Ozai decides to have Enji assassinated, cause the Fire Spirit and his family are causing all kinds of political problems. Only, of course, it fails pretty spectacularly, and since it involved using Azula as bait, she’s firmly against him now. Somehow, it ends with Zuko, Azula, Ty Lee, Mai, Shoto, Toya, Fuyumi, and Natsuo going on the run, while Enji and Rei team up with an escaping Iroh to wreck havoc and cover their retreat. The group run into the Gaang, and Zuko has to be like “So, firstly, Sorry for all the times I tried to kill you, secondly-”

At some point, Aang uses his “Spirit Medium” powers to try and connect with someone from the MHA world, ends up contacting Fumikage. 

2) Amnesia!Dabi

I think I sent this ask already, but I am becoming increasingly attached to the idea that Amnesia!Dabi as an AU is one where, for whatever reason, escaping AfO is actually not that hard. Like, in order:

Dabi - literally walked out of the sketchy clinic he woke up in. He was coming out of a coma, covered in half-healed burns, and still fighting off some lingering sedation. Took 15 hours before anyone found out he dipped. He proceeded to “evade” AfO for the next 3 years, to the point the guy thought he was dead, and only knew otherwise when Dabi walked into the bar to join the LoV. Finds out Dabi was basically two streets over the whole time.

Himiko (and Dabi again) - during the smack down involved with Katsuki’s Great Escape, AfO somehow misses Dabi covering Kats’ retreat, and then fleeing with an injured Himiko. When they don’t show up again, everyone assumes they got caught or went to ground, and only manage to piece together any kind of idea what happened when a news story breaks about the Togas suing UA over Himiko. Then the news Dabi=Toya, and his memory loss. Given the publicity involved on both Himiko and Dabi, unless AfO wants to really blow the fact that him being in prison doesn’t mean much, he “decides” they aren’t worth it.

Magne - left shortly before the Toya=Dabi story broke, but after the Himiko court case got announced. Just … left. Decided this clearly wasn’t the kind of group she thought it was, told everyone goodbye, good luck, and left. Jin, Compress and Spinner still have her number. AfO is unaware she left at all until sometime after the League joins up with Overhaul.

Jin - managed to escape a facility that was SUPPOSED to be secure, while severely injured from a procedure that stole his Quirk. Managed to escape, get help, and lead a bunch of heroes to said facility, forcing AfO to abandon it. Is now under the protection of both Enji, and U.A., and when the HPSC try to get at him, Nezu “reveals” Jin’s the pioneer patient for a new program about “rehabbing” villains or something. Hero support skyrockets. HPSC support continues to down-swerve.

Compress - Undermines a fairly important operation to nab a powerful Quirk user, saves several heroes and adjacent from losing their Quirks, and even rescue the current holder of OfA. The resulting de-aging, turning Compress from 32 to 16, somehow ends up with “Mr. Compress” being “dead”, as teen him doesn’t remember being an adult! (I mean, my idea is he … kind of does? Like, general impressions, or big moments, he does remember. He knows he WAS an adult, and why he did what he did. But Eri’s Quirk went a little haywire, so for all intents and purposes, Compress is, indeed, 16 now.) Somehow, ends up adopted by Aizawa & Mic, cause Eri sees him as a big brother figure.

Kurogiri - K, so like. Originally, he got nabbed during some big operation, right? However, so much is different here, that AfO is just trying to get these guys to lay low. So, instead - bear with me - Kurogiri gets sighted during an outing for groceries, and during a scuffle, suffers a head injury that abruptly causes him to remember his time as Oboro, and forget/muddle much of his time as Kurogiri. Disoriented, he accidentally portals himself into Aizawa and Mic’s living room. Shenanigans ensue. Tomura and Spinner figure he got caught. However, they decide to tell AfO he straight up died. AfO, for some reason, decides “yeah, that checks out”.

Tomura & Spinner - so, my general idea for this is. AfO has decided that “if you want something done right, do it yourself”, and has used a combination of Overhauls’ Quirk plus some others to reconstruct his own body, and then with Jin’s Quirk, is going to make an army of himself. He also decides he’s going to yoink Tomura’s Quirk, cause Decay is pretty powerful, and then he’ll kill Tomura on live TV, telling the whole story about Nana & Yagi, and OfA, really hammer in the message that he’s awesome and all is lost. While this mostly goes to plan, he also ends up broadcasting Spinner decking him in the face, grabbing the de-Quirked Tenko, and escaping while calling him a “bitchass knock-off Palpatine wannabe motherfucker” on the way out. The boys get an unexpected assist from a nearby Hawks & Miruko, proceed to tell everyone everything they know about AfO’s plans.

Much later, after everything is settled, if this ends the way CC will, it takes a few weeks for Yoichi and AfO to have a proper conversation, because Yoichi just. Can’t stop laughing.

The starless sea by Erin Morgenstern- absolutely no plot just vibes, a story about stories. Our MC discovers an ancient underground library, some people want to destroy it, but its mostly plotless, it reminds me a bit of the raven boys series tbh. LGBTQ+

Babel by RF Kuang- i would sell my left tit to read it for the first time again, kuang is now one of my top writers. We follow a group of POC oxford language students during victorian times that have the power to sort of do magic through translated words but the catch is they have to do it in service of the british empire, this is a story about rebelling against imperialism, racism, inequality, etc i just love it. LGBTQ+ but subtext (romance isnt a central theme)

Jade city trilogy by Fonda Lee- absolutely urban fantasy masterpiece if you like martial arts (Lee is a black belt), politics, strong family bonds, amazing characters etc. We follow the Kaul family who is the leader of the No Peak Clan and is at war with the Mountain Clan. One of my favorite aspects of this series is that its set in about 30 years so you see the effects that actions and political decision have on the long run. LGBTQ+

Out by Natsuo Kirino- the BEST murder book, we follow a group of four middle aged women working night shifts in a factory, one of the women murders her husband in a rage and the others help her to get rid of the body, suddenly they find themselves trying to both escape the police and some yakuza men who want their help getting rid of other bodies. Ultimately its a book about mysoginy imo, the struggles of poverty and modern life, etc. Search tws because it has some very graphic rape and pedophilia scenes.

Our share of night/nuestra parte de noche by Mariana Enríquez- if you can read in spanish DO IT!! Amazing magical realism-horror tales, i LOVE the south american subtropical settings, the history, the culture, legends and folklore of northern Argentina is shown, its about a father trying to save his son from the rich ppl cult that took away everything from him, its about dark magic and necromancy, and so much more. TWs of course, especially bc it touches upon the dictatorship. LGBTQ+ themes.

Mistborn Era 2 by Brandon Sanderson- i just love the cosmere, but era 2 is so fucking funny, its just a wild west comedy. Predictable ending for me, but that last chapter sill crushed my soul. If you want to dive into the cosmere and dont know where to start, pick up mistborn era 1, but leave era 2 for after youve read the stormlight archive bc the last book will be impossible to understand

The stormlight archive by Brandon Sanderson- simply masterworks of fantasy, a little slow at the beginnning but so worth it, amazing characters and magic systems. You will need to dedicate like one or two months for that first read of one of the tomes, and leave them for after youve read the rest of the cosmere or you wont enjoy them as much. The roshar system is such a diverse and expansive world.

Wolfsong by TJ Klune- i lost all my money bc i bought the entire series. If you need a cozy romance series about werewolves and found families, this is for you. Everyone is gay in this series thats it. LGBTQ+

The Poppy war trilogy by RF Kuang- the 1st book was already in my last years top 10 but HOLY SHIT THIS SERIES!!?? Fucking amazing, its a retelling/reimagination of chinese historical events (although with other countries names) but with chamans and ancient gods who take over warriors, basically its about our MC Rin descent into darkness and madness, its about colonialism, empires, etc. Its explicit and violent so search tws. The characters are amazing, i think rf kuangs strenght is definitely her characters they make you feel everything.

The inheritance trilogy by NK Jemisin- i only read the first book but its amazing, if you like dark fantasy with all powerful gods, read it. Im so excited to see how it ends.

Sure, here's a quick one.

It started as just another day of big bro Natsu putting the fear of god into Todoroki, which he calls "brotherly bonding". He voices his delight that Todoroki doesn't even try to fight back when Natsuo tickles him, he just tries to escape, fails, and takes it.

Todoroki is actually surprised that he's allowed to fight back. Natsuo jokes that it's actually his big brother prerogative to wreck him whenever he feels like it.

Little does he know that Todoroki is an extremely vindictive, methodical ler once he gets permission; the only ones who know are probably Deku, Kiri, and possibly Kami.

Todoroki gives it a couple of days. Maybe even weeks. He doesn't want Natsuo to suspect anything, and he doesn't want anyone in the house who can stop him.

The two of them play some dumb sport Natsuo loves. Then, when he plops down on a bench to have a drink, Todoroki makes his move.

He creates an ice column that encases Natsuo's legs and arms, so now he's not going anywhere. Then, he drags a chair behind Natsuo, who can't get his ass off the bench and can't see Todoroki.

Natsuo realizes what's going on and begins bargaining, but Todoroki has entered his "scary literal unflinching" mindset and there's just no way to stop him.

Todoroki starts at Natsuo's sides, since they're one of the most ticklish spots on Todoroki, and he's not playing around, his hands are already under Natsuo's shirt, squeezing and kneading his flanks.

Natsuo isn't fooling anyone, it's immediately obvious he's ticklish, but he's not laughing hard enough for Todoroki, so he begins scribbling at Natsuo's stomach, and his brother goes from giggling to laughing in 5 seconds flat (horny author's note: as flat as Natsuo's stomach).

Todoroki is just relentless: he isn't just turning the tables on his brother, he's taking revenge for every single time Natsuo has subjected him to big bro tickles all at the same time.

Mid-laughter, Natsuo complains that it's unfair that he can't fight back, so Todoroki... coats his fingers in ice, which doesn't hurt Natsuo due to his Quirk, but they glide even more easily so Natsuo's laughter rises an octave, especially when Todoroki dives in his bellybutton as well.

Natsuo apologizes, it tickles a lot and also it's kind of humiliating, which is Todoroki's cue to change spots and go after his ribs and pits next, which aren't any less sensitive.

Natsuo has never seen that side of his brother, on the one hand it's kind of sweet that he is learning to accept and give physical contact, on the other he is absolutely terrifying and ruthless!! Like he doesn't quite understand what the social norms around it are, so he has no qualms about tickling his brother to tears.

And when he finds that spot at either sid eof Natsuo's chest and digs in there, that is exactly what happens. Except tears won't stop Todoroki, his brother is strong, he can take so much more (eager lee Kirishima has definitely skewed his perception there).

When Todoroki finally frees Natsuo, his brother just crumples to the ground in a pool of sweat despite the ice. He's worked him over good.

A month or so later, Todoroki notices that Natsuo hasn't really tickled him since and confronts him about it. Natsuo is too embarrassed to say that he's afraid of Todoroki's payback, but Todo guesses as much and tells him he can still do it, and he apologizes if he went overboard. Natsuo tells him not to restrain him again, Todo promises, and Natsuo pounces, keen on reestablishing his role as the big brother!

There's an answer to this one here (Dangerous Women, an anthology) but I'm adding another one here because I finished it today:

In These Hallowed Halls: A Dark Academia Anthology edited by Marie O'Regan and Paul Kane. Anthologies in general will be really hit or miss, I've found, and I mostly read this to find inspo for ASMLP... there were a couple of real winners in here ("Phobos" by Tori Bovalino, "The Ravages" by Layne Fargo) and I'm interested in those authors to follow their work further (M. L. Rio was in this too and I LOVED If We Were Villains but idk "Weekend At Bertie's" just wasn't my fav?)... that said, a lot of these shorts were a letdown. There was a... interesting one about a professor attending the funerals of four of his students killed in a school shooting he is directly responsible for, and another short where the MC gets really weirdly obsessive over a gay romance between her professor and a fellow classmate, for example. Others had plotlines that were fine but had other issues like the pacing being all over the place or just not being very interesting, or (to me) kinda lacking in substance.

Like I said, anthologies tend to be a mixed bag, this was just... one of the more disappointing I've read imo.

One thing that did kinda tickle me: the last three shorts had an interesting tether. The first had a character named Phoebe. The second was the aforementioned "Phobos", and the final short of the anthology was wrote by a Phoebe Wynne. I just thought it was interesting.

13. What were your least favorite books of the year?

I have a couple of answers, one of which I shared here... but another book that I didn't get along with was Medusa by Rosie Hewlett. Honestly, I figured I wouldn't get along with it from the get go, but I gave it a shot anyway. The basic premise is a retelling of Medusa's myth from "how it really happened" and hot take but this work, like a LOT of retellings, would have been a LOT better as a standalone work. But it relied a lot on the mythos and it annoyed me. It also makes some really weird choices, like making Perseus the One Good Man of the entire book... which is. A choice.

17. Did any books surprise you with how good they were?

I'm going with The Genesis of Misery by Neon Yang for this one. I gave their The Black Tides of Heaven books a shot, and it was fine but nothing that really,,, gripped me and made me want to finish the series tbh, so I never did. I saw Misery in the library, though, and decided to give them a second chance. I do have a couple of Big Issues with the book as a whole, but I had a lot of fun reading it in general and it went far in redeeming this author for me so. Yeah I liked this one all things considered.

Sibling Bonding

Hey, so, this actually isn’t my first fic. :D I actually posted that Seroroki tickle fic a few days ago but thought it didn’t post when I indeed did post it. So in a moment of panic I made a completely new account. But nope, it posted, and people are enjoying it, I just have a brain too small to use Tumblr. But on with that, I hope you enjoy! 🌻 p.s my favorite thing to write is 100% Shoto fluff and I’m not ashamed.

It was a Friday about as average for Shoto as it could be. Wake up, go to school, go back to the dorms. He had a date with Sero immediately after school but that was it.

Shoto sat in his dorm room, the now eventless Friday nearly boring him to death now that he really had nothing to do.

That was until he got a text message from his sister, Fuyumi. Shoto opened it, being surprised to hear from her at almost 9:00 PM.

‘Hello, Shoto! I know it’s short notice but Nat and I wanted to see if you’d like to stay over tonight. Dad is at of town so we could actually do something’

Shoto found himself smiling and being excited over the thought of getting to spend time with his siblings for once without interruption. He sent a text back faster than he ever had before, his excitement nowhere near properly conveyed in the small message.

Shoto quickly threw some pajamas and an outfit for tomorrow into a spare backpack. Along with normal hygiene things, like toothpaste and a toothbrush, shampoo, those kinds of things.

After getting permission from Aizawa to leave, he was on his way. He had never felt so happy to go home, or see his siblings for that matter. Theres always been a distance between him and his brother and sister. But he hoped to fill that gap tonight.

Fuyumi must have been watching from the window for him because the door opened before he even reached the front step. “Shoto! Hey, you made it!” Fuyumi greeted as her brother walked inside.

“Hello.” Shoto said in his usual monotone voice, but with a small smile nonetheless. The door was shut behind him and Shoto dropped his bag beside the couch. He looked around, the house felt different without Endeavor there, calmer, more relaxed.

Natsuo waved from the couch and Fuyumi grabbed one of his shoulders excitedly, “Alright, what should we do?”

They had all worked together to make a snack, talked for a little about school and Fuyumi’s teaching job and eventually settled on watching a movie.

Much to Shoto’s disliking, it was a horror movie, and he had agreed to watching it. He did fine out in the real world with real life villains. But horror movies? He hated the cheap thrill, jump scare crap.

Shoto was nestled between Natsuo and Fuyumi as he cowered under a blanket, his curiosity still keeping his eyes at the tv. He got scared of every little thing. The background music building for anticipation? Hide behind the blanket. Main character calling out into the dark? A barely audible, nervous whimper. Jump scare? Well he nearly fell out of his seat whenever there was one of those.

“Shoto, if you’re scared we can put something else on?” Fuyumi offered after the third time Shoto bumped one of them with his startled jumping.

“No! I- I’m not scared, I love this.” Shoto denied, a clear nervous shake in his voice. Fuyumi just smiled sympathetically, “We’ll keep it on. Only if you let us try something to help you if you keep getting scared.” She said, looking back at the tv. Shoto just nodded, suddenly shy and embarrassed.

Natsuo gave their sister a confused look, Fuyumi just winked at him and he caught on. He nodded with a smirk as he too turned back to the movie.

Shoto eventually forgot about the conversation as he was preoccupied with the movie. He began to cower under his blanket at another moment of anticipation building up. Natsuo and Fuyumi looked at each other, then just before the jump scare that they knew would happen, they both poked Shoto in his side.

“Hehehey!” Shoto giggled and twisted in his spot on the couch, not noticing he completely missed the jump scare. “You said we could help you!” Fuyumi explained excitedly as her and Natsuo kept poking their now very giggly little brother.

“I- I dihidn’t think you meheheant thihis.” Shoto giggled and put his head down to cover up his smile. “Oh, we did.” Natsuo said bluntly and wiggled his hand underneath Shoto’s arm, surprised by the small squeal he let out.

“Wow, I thought you’d be ticklish but we’re barely doing anything.” Natsuo pointed out, happy with the small blush that started spreading across Shoto’s face.

“Nohoho! Dohon’t sahay thahahat!” Shoto said as he giggled. Natsuo and Fuyumi smiled at each other, who knew their normally grumpy little brother could be so cute?

“Don’t say what? Tickle? Do you not like the word ‘tickle’ , Shoto?” Natsuo teased. Shoto shook his head quickly and sank into the back of the couch, “Nahahahahat!” His face was flushed a light pink.

“Oh, yup thats it” Natsuo nodded. “Shoto, you have such a nice smile! You should do it more often.” Fuyumi cooed, only succeeding in making Shoto more flustered.

“Well, this seems to be working in making sure you don’t get scared so.” Natsuo spoke, just wanting to point out his giggly brother. He and Fuyumi both gently grabbed either of Shoto’s wrists, surprised by just how easily they brought his arms up above his head.

Shoto’s giggles stayed the same as he got a break from the light tickles, he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t excited about his siblings doing this. He wanted to be close with his siblings and recently learned that he very much craved affection. Shoto was receiving both of these so why fight it off?

Shoto sat there in giggly anticipation for a couple seconds until he felt gentle tracing and scratching down both of his arms that started at his wrists. “Nohohoho!” Shoto giggled, his legs gently kicking out in front of him, making no real struggle to get away.

Shoto sat there for a couple minutes, happily giggling as his siblings tickled him with the forgotten horror movie playing in the background.

Eventually though, Shoto did bring his arms down to hug his stomach and sides and his siblings took the hint that he was really done. Natsuo patted his back and Fuyumi ruffled his now already messy hair. “Feeling better? I think the movies over too so, nothing to get scared of” Natsuo spoke up as Shoto still recovered from his little giggle fit.

“Yehaha. I’m fihine, thank you both.” Shoto nodded, very grateful for his siblings. They both squished him into a hug and he didn’t complain, he just simply relaxed and sighed contentedly.

They all stayed in the little group hug as they watched different movies and tv shows until Shoto fell asleep, cuddled up in a blanket and with a small smile on his face.

About Me

I've had this blog for about two years and only just realized I never like actually introduced myself.

So hi! I go by Issy or Iutb and use any/all pronouns!

I've been posting fanfiction to Ao3 for over four years, though I like to think I'm a better writer now than I was back in high school. I draw on occasion, and I've been trying lately to get into oil painting and watercolor. I like to listen to music (folk, rock, and classical) and play minecraft (I've logged 60+hours just in the last two weeks).
