I saw you love red, white, and royal blue and I've just gotta ask you: have you heard of Burn the House Down by Kenna Jenkins? It's an alternate history novel abt the 1st woman president and her secret sapphic relationship/bearded marriage with her mlm best friend. It also includes a subplot about arson at the White House, ft. An entirely queer main cast and really fleshed out characters, and has a really satisfying ending!

oh i actually haven’t, but it sounds exciting! one of the biggest twists that get me started on a book is it being an alternate history novel. it’s always intriguing (and fun ngl) to see the author’s vision of what could have happened (as what has actually happened) and secret relationships??? entirely queer mains??? and arson in the white house???? She's surprised by how good of a time she has, though she suspects it has more to do with the company than the activity. A few hours later, Steve, returning home from his shift, finds the two of them higher than clouds and arguing with each other about how "you're the best person in the world and Steve absolutely loves you the most!" "no! YOU'RE amazing and Steve loves YOU the most!"

Steve is baffled but also pretty flattered that, out of all the people they know, they're using his love as the barometer.

I know that a scare like this happens every year or so so I want to express that I'm NOT panicking, but I do think it's smart to at least prepare for the worst case scenario just in case. so that being said would anyone be interested in an artist community discord server where artists could share art, writing, gifs, etc with each other regardless of fandom and also just. hang out? idk reply or reblog if that would be something ur interested in and maybe I'll put one together. even if tumblr continues to be the cockroach site maybe it'll still be fun to have a server like that idk

ummmm. wip wed…… I don’t have actual writing but I did start making a buncha bullet points for more ideas for the kalisil jamiazu fic…. And I have decided one thing lol - since I have masquerade event on the brain… if I get around to writing this fic I’m keeping the timeline vague HOWEVER it would take place sometime after masquerade bc I want that event to be when jamiazu had gotten together in backstory bc they #danced together in the little rythm minigame (and the duo THE DUO ATTACK-)
