Headcanon #500:

Mind is afraid that when he distances himself from or above the others, that he will be too far gone to come back down. That when his paranoia gets the best of him, he'll shut everyone else out and then be completely alone with no way back to where he was before.

Heart is afraid that if Mind is right, with the idea that what he does isn't genuine, that he's being manipulative without realizing it. Then therefore being Whole without himself there is the better option. That he'd be thrown out because his ideas would then be "not worth it" or even "vile"

Soul is afraid that no matter what he does or how good things will be, they'll always eventually split up again or even end up worse. Even then he has no clue what he's supposed to do or be during everything, and so because of that he'll never be whole. Or worse that he'll never really "feel" whole.

Once the chapters are on AO3, and someone on Patreon/Ream requests them directly, sure!

The only rules for something to have a writer's commentary are that it needs to be on AO3, and it needs to be original writing of mine! :D

I really appreciate people speculating on what 3GS and Mephone will do now that they're leaving the contestants and presumably(?) the island behind, but I really can't get behind the idea of them going back to Meeple HQ. I feel like the whole point of Mephone leaving the island is. Getting away from a place of immense trauma for himself (and obviously the people he hurt) and leaving to start a new life and to heal. Going back to the childhood home where he was horribly abused isn't going to be good for him. I think 3GS might have an easier time with adjusting to Meeple HQ but I honestly don't think he'd want to stay there either. They both seem pretty done with Meeple in general and I think thats awesome!!!!! Good for them!! Get away from Meeple!

The only way I could see them going back to Meeple is if they needed to grab Mecintosh (Who 3GS probably has some knowledge of? Assuming they were in the same closet together and the timeline works out...) Or maybe to rob Meeple which is also acceptable and I think would be really cool. Rob that place, fuck it up, then run away. But for gods sake them becoming CEO's of Meeple would go horribly Mephone JUST got away from the whole 'having immense power over the world/his contestants' he does NOT need to be put in that position again.

Jaskier's longest standing love is that which he holds for Geralt because it is not frivolous, but rather ingrained into his very soul, penned in his words, sung in his lyrics, hidden in his actions. It permeates all he does for the man he calls friend and so it remains. It is not a romantic love nor does he intend to make it so because he does not believe that is what Geralt needs from him. His friendship is what was needed, a man to look at a Witcher and feel no fear nor sense of chasing something exotic, but a keen ear to listen to stories and a chattering comfort of a voice to fill the long silences. A companion for the road and a friend to pen missives to across the continent when their paths diverge.
