Levanter anon: sounds like SM Entertainment is having a chaotic time once again.
On a more lighthearted note, if you look at the graph of SM stock prices going down, it looks like a cat now. 'Tis the EXO-dus cat!
But jokes aside: what will happen to EXO now? How many group members would be left in the company (assuming the don't also leave after the first group of members)? Where will the leaving members go?
Also, will this affect other SM groups? I am not the most familiar with them, but I hear SM groups are very interconnected, with NCT and Superm and everything. So will other groups have members leaving?
Hello!! they sure are hahahhaha
omg we love<3 jfjfdj exo's legacy :')
So there currently Chanyeol, Sehun, Kai, Kyungsoo, Suho and Lay are still contracted with SM. Chen, Baekhyun, and Minseok are still in exo of the moment - they've left the company not the group and so unless there's official word after all the legal stuff that they've left the group - they are still in the group! the contracts will be them individually contracted as SM artists, not as members of EXO so they don't lose that when the contracts gone until SM declare it. Sehun... is unpredicatable so i can't say anything for sure 😭 but he is basically sitting back atm with popcorn watching it go down so i imagine that whatever the outcome he will step up and try something himself hahah the others i truly don't know! Kai fucked off to the military right as the drama's happening so we won't get his news for a while 😭 the contracts are kinda frozen/extended over military enlistment periods i've noticed so he won't be doing anything until it's over. The leaving members are very likely going to go get signed to other labels/ set up their own ! i can imagine they have a plan, and considering they're suing together at once i can imagine they have a plan together! it would be great for us fans to have them sign to the same company but you gotta remember this is their first free decision about their career they've prob ever gotten so they should go with what they want individually and find companies that will suit them and work well with them<3
oki so I think there's a lot that could happen if u compare it to other groups! they could definitely do a got7 where they are in different companies focusing on solo stuff but manage to do a full-member comeback by organising it themselves between all their companies (if only once or twice </3). Or you could look at snsd. snsd came back through SM but 3 (?) of the members aren't under SM anymore - it was just something arranged between all companies involved and i can imagine that the non-SM girls got well compensated 😭 but yeah - something like that could happen if there's some relationship between the members and SM... which doesn't seem particularly likely considering the lawsuits but anyways it's a possibility hahaha!
about other SM groups! it will be affecting poor taeyong trying to promote his solo atm thru all this drama 😭 and as you said about the stock prices - that does inhibit the other groups. However, if they win the lawsuit, one can only hope that would encourage better artist treatment and fairer payout around the whole company!! and if SM don't do it themselves, the other artists would have tonnes of info on how to beat SM in a lawsuit 😭 so we can hope they use it well<3 but yeah - the icky thing about companies is that although they are all artists with similar contracts, the treatment and payout could be extremely different between all the groups :(( and within the same group (read: luhan and tao lol). and good old misogyny when it comes to rv<3 so each SM artist could have a different experience and some could have it much worse than others.
okay so i just read some articles and it's so funny djfgjjdfgj what i'm understanding is.. cbx were like 'yo can u provide us with the info on how we've been paid for 12-13 years' and sm are like 'no. i don't want to.' and sm are CONVINCED that some other evil company leaders have been talking to exo and getting them to sign with them and illegally go against their SM contracts. which very much could be true but it's not illegal to have discussions with other employers jgjdfg and SM are still like 'we have your best interests at heart, not those evil outsiders!'. ... they r so funny fkgkd. also their contracts were literally 12-13 years long... not the usual 7 recommended by the government.... and the contracts they r terminating were written in nov/dec 2022 and were extending them another 5/6 years...and SM's current defence is "no ur lawyer doesn't know the law properly we aren't in the wrong".. so .... unless some miracle is pulled I don't see SM coming out of this well since they're not rly cooperating at all.
but yeah.. i don't see a swarm of artists leaving SM happening, mostly because a lot of them won't have the luxury as EXO have to do that. And especially if they're also stuck in 13 year contracts... which is ridiculous. so yeah :(( but we can hope they get better treament!! and soz to any superm fans if there are any of you 😭 superm is a done thing i'm afraid</3 lucas flopped, baekhyun's suing and then it'd just be taemin in an Nct unit KJFGKFJGK. so yeah no more superm. but nct will prob truck on - they are SM's priority there's no denying it so they'll prob be fine. tho they are tragically suffering with the loss of sungtaro so like... </3 rip to them but infinite Nct flopped to me the second sungtaro left, like no one else matters</3

I just want to know what historical EVIDENCE there is of the Bible being factual, other than 'well this one guy said so'. Like, have we found temples or tombs or graves dating to that era? Skeletons? Literally any proof at all that the Bible's more than just a pack of lies used to exert social control on a populace that largely couldn't read?
acquire some comprehensive reading skills
develop some historical literacy
don't come back you're boring and don't know what the fuck you're even talking about lmao

What is up with the trend of short songs tho?? Title track being under 3mins is criminal. Absolute banger tho. Thoughts on the rest of the tracks?
yeah i definitely hate the trend of shorter and shorter songs. kendrick proved that a 6-7 minute hate-filled banger is the way to go, yknow? 🤫
mountains, jjam, twilight are fine, all of them didn't jump out at me.
title track is right on the money, very fun and catchy. i really liked the song, even though i didn't like the mv at all.
stray kids is sweet, i like it is a bop.
runners is my favorite! it's the closest to their older music 🫡
altogether though! success!

A9. Does your OC make a lot of excuses? For themselves? Others?  B14. Do they have people they are genuinely honest with about themselves? C5. Do your OC’s morals and rules of common decency go out the window when it comes to those they don’t like, or when it’s inconvenient? Aka, are their morals situational? G6. Do they have any favorite childhood memories? L1. How have your characters changed since you created them?
(( This got really long. Everything's under the cut. ))
A9. Does your OC make a lot of excuses? For themselves? Others?
Levant rarely makes excuses when it comes to herself. If it's her fault, it's her fault. And no amount of denial or excuses is going to change that. To make excuses would mean she's being a coward - and she's no coward.
For others though, Levant is willing to look over a lot of other people's shortcomings to the point of making excuses for them. Part of it is her loneliness - she's always felt that no one truly knows her aside from a few people - three particular people happen to be the ones that those excuses are for.
Sasha's nearly killed her on one occasion - after the disastrous trip into Kunlun's Treasure Grotto, and she's never told the other girl that. Just chalked it up to her being drunk and emotional and left it be. It's not like she doesn't get into some life-threatening situation every couple months anyway.
Lenore would probably be considered neglectful as a mother, to the point where Levant had switched to using Big Sis / Elder Sis without fully realizing she's made that transition. She's seen what motherly figures should be like, and Lenore's not it. Then again, Lenore has never claimed to be a mother, just someone who understands Levant very well - and what she needs to grow as a person.
Chi is the main person she's been making excuses for in her head, even as the evidence becomes crushingly obvious as to whose existence is likely causing a lot of problems in this world. However, what can she do?
Get rid of the one person who's supported her no matter what?
No. A hundred times no.
And so she ignores the elephant in the room for the sake of her sanity, even knowing that the more she does so, the more screwed up this world will likely become.
She's not sure what she'd do if there ever comes a time where she has to choose between this world and Chi.
B14. Do they have people they are genuinely honest with about themselves?
Ironically, the people she's most honest and upfront with are total strangers. She doesn't care about their opinion, and thus she acts in accordance with her mercurial, often aggressive nature. Sato's also in this category ironically enough, but that's because she doesn't feel like she needs to pretend in front of Sato - she already feels like the other girl has a very good grasp of her from the start, and Sato actually likes the way she is - which isn't too surprising how Sato just likes to watch the world burn.
Tumblr folk are probably who she fronts more with. To her, the people on Tumblr are her peers, some even her seniors, when compared to her similar-aged acquaintances in school. They're all well versed with the supernatural, and...well she likes them. So she tries to put up her best side, though she sometimes slips given how much she likes to exposit.
She probably puts up the biggest front with Chi, and she knows Chi knows that. But she feels like she has to set a good example for her as "her boss" in this two-person gang of theirs. Makes sure Chi knows what's right from wrong - if you're going to steal from people, you should take from people who could afford to lose it - or just practical life things - like not eating from the garbage can when there's actual food available - just leave it as compost to grow better food.
C5. Do your OC’s morals and rules of common decency go out the window when it comes to those they don’t like, or when it’s inconvenient? Aka, are their morals situational?
Levant has never been particularly lawful, though what she does follow, she is strict about. Particularly her version of the Golden Rule. "Those who are kind to her, she'll repay it double. Those who are cruel to her, she'll repay it tenfold."
Given that people she doesn't like are usually those who are unkind to her in the first place, there's rarely an instance where her morals are incongruent. As for her disproportionate retribution, that's also built in to her version of the Golden Rule too.
G6. Do they have any favorite childhood memories?
She has a couple of the orphanage.
Lenore teaching her the basics of Parkour and how they regularly goaded each other into greater and greater heights.
Lenore teaching her Wing Chun after her "adoption" under the excuse of "you are going to get yourself killed with all the trouble you raise."
The times where Chi and her took up chore duty after the matron got too old and found it too exhausting to do it herself. And the looks of admiration she got - that no amount of fighting would ever get her - from the other kids.
The trouble Chi and her got into when it came to pranking others, her mostly doing the pranking and Chi playing looking out.
None of her favorite memories included the Dream.
L1. How have your characters changed since you created them?
Ohhh boy. I'll just limit it to the sisters. Because Euridice and Mirielle have quite a bit of history, Euri especially.
Chi hasn't really changed from the beginning, which really is as intended. She's always supposed to be the monolith, reflecting her nature as Malkuth / Lilith - a reflection of the physical world. Even if everything else changes, she will still be here, waiting and watching. I guess one change is that she draws far less now than before, but that may be more because of my lack of time than anything else ahah.
Levant of this blog is pretty much the sequel of the Levant of lastcompact. She's changed significantly, not just in age but also in demeanor. She used to be a lot more asocial for one, mostly seeing others in how she could use or how she'll get rewarded by them - a Dreamer's / Gamer's mindset. She's improved significantly on that front after being kicked out from the Dream and realizing how badly she's been treating people.
Her sisters, Tumblr and the Nameless Cult are probably the best things that happened to her - though she doesn't consciously realize it, knowing that there's someone who would miss her has curbed quite a bit of her reckless nature more than she realizes. The Levant of lastcompact had recently lost what was pretty much her adoptive mother that year, and though she doesn't remember the events of lastcompact (yet), it had made her reluctant to get close to others, though her friends and acquaintances have managed to bring her out of her shell.

one thing id like to know:: food and snacks you live off on?
for food i truly do live off on tabbouleh, halloumi salad and fattoush (or any type of mediterranean salad for that matter)
as well as any traditional dishes from Palestine or any other country from the Levant region because they never fail to impress me with how delicious they are (such as Kibbeh, Mujaddara, shish barak, grape leaves, Maqloubeh, Musakhan and the list goes on…)
and i love to snack on any type of fruits! i really am not picky at all with fruits or food in general (except for kiwis though, because even though they’re delicious they sometimes give me a slight stomach ache)

hey hi i just liked your takes on kingdom hearts, but apparently since i have the audacity to believe that hamas is bad, islamism is bad, jews should have sovereignty in the levant, and palestinian society needs to unlearn a ton of genocidal rhetoric which is ruining the lives of palestinian children by making them martyrs, you have blocked me. why did you even use anon. i followed you two minutes ago. and also i feel like you're proud of having blocked me so idk why you would wanna hide. you are missing out, when it comes to ventus we share the same brain, we could've had it all

on your marks - get set - go. enzo vogrincic x fem!reader
Tumblr media
fem!reader, enzo vogrincic x reader, fluff.
ignorou completamente o comentário fofo. permaneceu firme.
"ficou parecendo outra coisa?"
você riu junto com enzo, absolutamente incrédula. bom, parecia que seu primeiro dia em montevideo já tinha sido bom o suficiente pra te dar um namorado.

hey, so im Palestinian and a strong activist for my people's liberation. i wanted to ask for some info/advice on avoiding antisemitism in my activism for Palestine. im on anon bc i don't want to be called a racefaker for caring about Jewish ppl. i know antisemitism is on the rise right now (and generally over the past few years) and i want to make sure i'm not unintentionally contributing to it.
Hey there! I wanted to start by genuinely thanking you for asking this question. Partially because I don't actually get any well-intentioned or helpful questions in my inbox anymore, but also because I understand the amount of bravery it takes to reach out with a question like that at a time like this.
Next, I want to apologize to all my followers who hate long posts. Judaism is a very complicated ethnoreligious group, antisemitism is a very complicated form of bigotry, and the Israeli/Palestinian conflict is arguably the most complicated international issue that has ever existed. I'm going to try to go through everything as succinctly as possible below the cut-- I am also going to ask other Jews to contribute to and make edits to this list as needed.
And finally-- I'm writing this as though I were speaking to someone with very little knowledge of the subject. I understand that as a Palestinian, you probably know a lot about what's going on here. But I want to make sure that I'm covering bases for anybody else who might need to use this post. So if you're like, Yeah, Obviously I Knew That. Please remember that a fuckton of people on tumblr are engaging in Israeli criticism without obviously knowing that.
There are two primary forms of antisemitism in anti-Zionist spaces-- antisemitic conspiracy theory, and criticism of Israel that no other country receives. The first kind is the easiest kind to pick out, and it makes a nice bulleted list, so we'll start there.
Dual Loyalty. A global stereotype that has skyrocketed since the establishment of Israel, but it's been around for a lot longer than that. Simply put, it's the idea that Jews are more loyal to Israel (or some global secret kabal) than we are to the countries we currently reside in. With I/P, it manifests as the idea that All Jews are directly responsible for Israel or the idea that All Jews secretly support Israel. If you see a Jew who isn't directly engaging in I/P topics, don't ask them what their stance is. Plenty of us have never even been to Israel, and it's fucked up to assume that we're all experts in geopolitics.
The Holocaust was a Fabrication or a Lesson. The idea that Jews made up the Shoah has been around since the Shoah was still happening, and it's always been ridiculous. Today, you'll see three primary lines about this. Either it's that Jews made up the Shoah as an excuse to establish Israel, that the Jews deserved the Shoah because of what's happening in Israel today, or that the Jews "should have learned their lesson from the Holocaust" because now Jews are "the new Nazis". Frankly, I wish goyim would stop treating the deaths of millions of Jews like a TV show. Palestinian deaths are genuinely horrible, but this isn't some kind of "narrative parallel" to the Shoah.
The Kazars Theory, or All Jews are White. This is the DNA test nonsense. The idea is that Israel (or Jews at large) are only pretending to be indigenous to the Levant and that secretly Jews as a whole are actually indigenous to Eastern Europe. It's a lie, started by a German professor of Russian history in the early 1800s. Meanwhile, the vast majority of genetic, historical, and archaeological evidence points to Jewish origins in the Israeli/Palestinian region. There have been literal hundreds of genetic studies on this. Most of them suggest that Jews, even "white" Ashkenazim, are nearly genetically identical to Palestinians.
World Domination. The idea that Jews control the world began with the Protocols of the Elders of Zion in 1903. If you're encountering criticism of Israel that suggests that world governments, particularly European or American ones, are being controlled by Jews, you've got yourself antisemitism. White supremacists like to use the term "Zionist Occupied Government" or "ZOG" as shorthand for this conspiracy. The next two points are born out of this same ideology.
Controlling the Media. The idea that Jews are in charge of Hollywood and/or major news organizations around the world. Regarding I/P, I've seen a bunch of people say something like "Western media outlets won't cover this! (Because you know who controls them!)" only to look online and see... Western media outlets covering it. See also: "My source is tiktok! I don't trust the news!" While it's obviously a fair criticism to say that some Western news outlets certainly have a pro-Israel and anti-Palestinian bias, it's certainly not every single one of them. Reuters and the AP are once again my go-to's here.
Controlling the Financial World. I haven't actually seen this come up regarding I/P, but considering how things have been going, it's only a matter of time. We don't control the banks. We don't control the stock market. We're not in charge of American aid being sent to Israel. HaShem knows that if we controlled all the money, I'd certainly be living larger than I am now...
Those Bloodthirsty Jews. This one arguably started with Blood Libel in the 1100s, when Christians started accusing us of stealing and eating their babies. Straight up, I have met Christians who still believe this in 2023. You see this a lot with I/P-- the Al Ahli Hospital is the biggest example. More than a month later, most reliable intelligence organizations agree that a misfired Hamas rocket landed in a parking lot, killing about 100 people. But a ton of people are still saying that Those Bloodthirsty Jews intentionally bombed the hospital dead on, killing 470 people. I want to be clear-- Israel is killing a lot of civilians. But if you see a bandwagon of people focusing on the one group of deaths that Israel probably actually didn't cause? Consider why.
Causing wars, revolutions, and calamities. Hamas has straight-up got this one in their founding charter. No, the Jews are not responsible for any major global conflicts, revolutions, or counter-revolutions that don't directly involve Israel. We didn't do WWII. We didn't do the October Revolution. See above-- we're not secretly plotting massacres on Shabbat. A lot of people are saying that Netanyahu and Likud let Hamas in to justify the invasion of Gaza... I'd be shocked if that was the case. All evidence points to a classic intelligence failure. We're not orchestrating bloodbaths.
Section 2: Criticisms only levelled at Israel
It's important to recognise that Israeli civilians are no more collectively responsible for the actions of the Likud coalition than Palestinians are collectively responsible for the actions of Hamas. No Palestinian deserves to be stripped of their rights to self-determination in their ancestral lands because of the October 7th attack. Likewise, no Chinese person deserves to be displaced from China because of the CCP's human rights violations in Tibet, Uyghur and Hong Kong. No Russian person deserves to be ethnically cleansed from Russia because of the Kremlin's invasion of Ukraine. But plenty of people do believe that Jews should be stripped of their rights to self-determination in historically Jewish indigenous lands because of the actions of the Israeli government.
After October 7th, I've seen people argue that Israeli babies deserved to be kidnapped because of their national origin. I've seen people argue that Israeli women deserved to be sexually abused because of their nation of origin. I've seen people argue that the seven million Jews living in their ancestral homeland deserve death or displacement because of their nation of origin. Justifying or allowing brutal harm against people because of their national origin is hateful.
I want to make this part very clear-- I do not have an issue with calling out Israeli war crimes or crimes against humanity. But I do have an issue with treating Jewish civilians differently than civilians of other nations responsible for similar horrors. Amplifying bias against a particular group because of that group's nation of origin is called bigotry. Taking a stand against Israeli settlements in the West Bank is anti-Zionism. Collectivizing the label of "white colonialism", and forcing that label upon refugees forced to move to Israel, or Mizrahim with uninterrupted 8,000-year histories in Israel, is antisemitism.
Part 3: Moving Forward
So where do we go from here? If advocating for the destruction of Israel is advocating for the elimination of Jewish self-determination in our ancestral lands, but advocating in favour of the Israeli government is advocating for the elimination of Palestinian self-determination in your ancestral lands, then we must find some middle ground. A solution that allows seven million Jews and five-and-a-half-million Arabs to share the same holy land, without fear of persecution, displacement, or death. For me, this means a few things.
First of all, the recognition that most Israelis disagree with Netanyahu's approach to Palestine, and most Palestinians disagree with Hamas's approach to Israel. And that brings up a question-- why are Likud and Hamas in charge of Israel and Gaza respectively if most people disagree with them? Without getting into the complicated intricacies of the Knesset and the PNA on an already very long post (and without explaining your own government to you), the simple answer is international funds.
Israeli crimes against Palestinians are bankrolled by American Evangelical Christians, who believe that when Palestine is gone, all the Jews will go to Israel, and Jesus will come back to kill the world's infidels. They actually fucking believe that. Meanwhile, Hamas is bankrolled by Iran, which believes that the more often Jews and Sunni Muslims kill each other, the easier it will be for Iranian Shiite Jihad to take over the world. They actually fucking believe that.
So what steps can we take during our advocacy? Not for the destruction of Israel nor the destruction of Palestine, but for America and Iran to get their noses out of our damn business. I genuinely believe that a defunded Likud and a defunded Hamas will allow Israelis and Palestinians to work together for a peaceful two-state or joint-rule solution. Something that will keep my Palestinian friends from feeling like they can't safely travel from Jaffa to Tel Aviv. Something that will allow my Jewish family to visit and pray at the Cenotaphs of Isaac and Rebecca and the Temple Mount. Something that will let Israeli children from Kibbutz Nirim and Palestinian children from Khan Yunis play on the same playgrounds together, instead of sheltering from missile fire.
Frankly, we nearly had that when the Supreme Muslim Council and the Assembly of Representatives began collaborating against the British Mandate instead of against each other. Clearly, it's possible, we just need to stop being pitted against each other by foreign powers.

Re my last few posts, may end up pinning this may not.
It's crazy how many times I have said replying to anons and in posts of their own, that I do not want people dying on any side and how I do not support the Israeli government, yet still get people claiming I do.
And to the people who send me asks putting words that I have never said in my mouth who then get mad when I call them antisemitic, tough titties.
If you think jews are secretly genocidal, or that talking about antisemitism makes you want Palestinians dead, you are being antisemitic.
The first option is literal blood libel repackaged for the current day, and has been an antisemitic trope for literal centuries.
The second option is antisemitic as it erases jewish suffering and tells jews to be quiet about jew hate.
It also promotes the idea that jews and Palestinians cannot coexist in the diaspora or in Southern Levant in any capacity (one state solution of either country, two state solution or one state for all solution), by saying that jews have to suffer for palestinians to not suffer and therefore also promotes the inverse of palestinians having to suffer for jews to not suffer. And maybe its just me, but that's a bad idea to promote. Jews and Palestinians should be able to coexist in Southern Levant or in the diaspora.
Maybe have a look through my blog and actually read my posts where I do criticize the Israeli government, instead of assuming that because I'm Jewish and/or talk about antisemitism, that I must be genocidal.

white gentile who has a history of being incredibly racist: oh cool an anon with a link to a post from a jewish guy i’ve been obsessed with for over a year where he’s responding in frustration to someone calling him a fascist!!!! this is definitely proof this guy who has repeatedly said he’s not a zionist is actually a zionist!!!!!! for further proof, here’s a screenshot from a post where he explicitly says he’s not a zionist, but i insinuate that the very idea of jews living in the levant is in and of itself zionism!!!!!! this does not help the zionist cause at all!!!!!! yeah i admit i don’t know much about the israel-palestine situation, but clearly this anon who is sending me a post from several weeks ago intended to stir up harassment that had been dying down is an expert so you should listen to them and continue to spread an antisemitic rumor started by antisemites!!!!!!!!

Requests: To ‘Alexia Jr’: Awesome… possible part 2 with alexia ripping into the team about how they’ve been acting?
can we please have more of Alexia jr 😫
I love alexia jr is it possible to do a part 2? Thanks ❤🦄
Part 1 Alexia Jr
Word count: 2,8k
Since that night on the pitch with your sisters, Alexia paid more attention to the team’s interactions with you, or sometimes the lack of it. Now that she has been cleared to start working with a ball again she is around the team more often and though she still has training separate from you, she’s also a lot closer and can hear how the girls talk to you. To say she’s baffled would be an understatement and it’s only been two days since your admission about the situation.
Although she wants nothing more than to give them an earful when it happens, you had made her promise to handle it in a mature way. You didn’t want to mess up the team dynamics even more.
Barca’s game that following week, your sister watches you play from next to the benched players and the proud smile is hard to miss. However, cameras that were supposed to be on you at this moment as you dive down the length of the field with the ball at your feet, are on Alexia instead who’s wearing that pleased look. It’s wrong of them to focus on her when you’re in the midst of showing exactly why you’re in Barca’s first team.
She cheers loudly with the rest of the girls as the ball is chipped over the goalkeeper and you nod towards the fans, your hand above your eyes as if you were shielding them from the sun, almost like you were saluting the crowd. Your signature celebration.
That prideful glint in Alexia’s eyes turns into disappointment when she notices that none of your teammates celebrate with you or congratulate you. She does however feel a slight sense of relief when she sees Mapi clapping in her position, far back on your side of the field. The brunette’s jaw clenches at the lack of support you’re receiving from your team after each and every good pass or chance on goal, she is beyond saddened.
It’s only moments later when just as you receive the ball from Patri the defender on the other team comes in fast and takes your legs out. The air time you get before harshly landing on your side is something Alba would joke about but when you don’t immediately get up your sister realizes this could be serious. While you lay there for a bit, gripping the grass for a second to take your mind off the searing pain in your ankle, the defender gets her yellow card.
Still, Mapi is the only one coming to check on you near the left side of the pitch.
Once again, Alexia is grateful that her best friend is looking out for her little sister but she feels like the rest of the girls have let you and her down at the same time, she expected more of them. She shot up to her feet the instant you were tackled and she had leant forward wanting to see more and make sure you were okay. You slowly get up though, thankfully, assuring Mapi and the referee that you’re good to continue playing. Your sister plops back in her seat with a long exhale of worry and Marta, who’s sat next to her sends her a reassuring smile.
Eventually the match comes to an end and you wander off the field with a 5-1 victory, shaking the hands of the opposition as you do. Most of the girls have already ran off towards the bench, no doubt wanting to see your sister and your thoughts are proved to be true when you look in the direction. Alexia’s eyes connect with your own and though she holds a bright expression, happy for the team, there’s a look in her eyes that you don’t quite recognize.
Paula swings an arm over your shoulders, the Levante player a good friend of yours from the national team. You look over at her, noticing the way she purses her lips in thought and you nudge her to start talking.
“Do they always just leave you like that?” she voices her thoughts as she watches your teammates interact with your sister. Not one of them had clapped your back after the final whistle was blown even though they’ve done it to each other. You shrug at her.
“Most of them.” the sympathetic look she gives you is one that makes you regret answering the question and you bid her goodbye as your team starts their way towards the changing room.
You’re rather surprised to find Alexia waiting for you in front of the door and you give her a questioning look before she pulls you into a hug.
“You were so good out there hermana, I’m so proud of you” she tells you sincerely as she rubs a hand over your back and you sink further into her embrace.
“Gracias Ale” your voice is muffled by her shoulder but she presses a kiss to your forehead nonetheless. “Are we gonna go in or..?”
“Sí, but I’m going to talk to them and-”
“Ale, no” you plead with her, shaking your head rapidly. “Not now please, we just won I don’t want them to be upset because of me”
She stares at you for a second, her eyebrows furrowing and her signature frown on her face, but she gives in with a sigh. Even in times like this when you were so deeply hurt you put others’ feelings above your own.
“Vale, not today, but I will and you won’t get to stop me then” she holds the back of your head as she explains, bringing you into another quick hug. “They need to know what they’re doing is cruel”
You roll your eyes at her wording, but nod along as you open the door and walk in with your sister behind you.
“Good game chicas” you clap your hands only to be met with silence until one of them looks up and squeals at Alexia’s arrival.
You thought most of them already had their fair share of time with her outside but even now they surround her, turning a blind eye to your presence.
With another huff you get changed quickly and shove the last of your things into your backpack. Alexia tries but fails at hiding her annoyance at the team’s behavior and when she sees you about to exit she shrugs off the rest of the girls lingering around and with a half-sincere apology she’s out the door.
Patri stares at the now closed door in confusion. “What just happened?”
“I don’t know, but nice goal you scored today” Aitana shrugs as she praises the brunette. Patri looks at her.
“I didn’t score a goal.”
“Yes you did.” Some of the girls turn to the two as they continue.
“No I didn’t.”
“Yes you did, the 40th minute! Don’t you remember?” Aitana looks to the others for confirmation but they shrug.
“That wasn’t Patri, it was Y/N’s goal” Mapi corrects the two, angrily gritting through her teeth.
“Oh”
“Yeah, oh” the blonde bites back.
“Mapi-” Ingrid tries but is cut off by Nuria.
“What about the one after half time?”
“That was also Y/N” Irene joins, wondering just how blind the girls have been. Nothing more is said as the girls go back to changing, sensing the obvious tension in the air.
The next day you have recovery day with the team and as you finish up the last of it you enter the locker room to find most of the team there already. They pay you no mind as you take a seat, though as the minutes tick by Pina finally looks up from her phone.
“Y/N!” you’d be stupid to think she’s happy because she’s noticed you. “Alexia is coming today, right?”
“Yeah, she said she would!” Bruna adds excitedly and more of the girls turn to you, waiting for an answer.
“Yep, a bit later though” you confirm, not meeting any of their eyes as you change your socks.
“She must be here already then, no?” you glance up at that, sighing at the eager expressions you’re met with. “Could you get her? You know she will come in earlier if it’s her sister asking.” Jana’s words are accompanied with nods from around the room and as you stand with an annoyed huff you only hear one voice thanking you.
You wander down the corridors towards where your sister was just finishing her rehab session but as you walk the hallways you can’t help but get lost in your thoughts again.
You didn’t understand what more you had to prove to the team to be accepted by them, to not be as transparent. It seemed that no matter what you did they were only interested in you when it was about your sister. Alexia this, Alexia that. Will we get to see Alexia today? Is Alexia going to be at the game? It’s never, hey Y/N how are you? Or a simple bon dia. Nothing.
You did worry less about your performance however.
Before, you had compared your every touch of the ball to the way your sister would have done it, wondering if the way you were playing would be even close to her excellence. But the number of times your name has appeared on the scoresheets assures you that you were definitely doing something right, you weren’t only here because of who your sister is.
You patiently wait outside the gray door after knocking and soon one of the physios greets you with a smile.
“Hola, is Alexia here?” you ask, politely smiling at him. He nods as he lets you into the room, having recognized you.
“Someone’s genes are strong” he lowly whistles as you approach your sister but the two of you only send him another nod, eyebrows raised.
“Estás bien, pequeña? Why are you looking for me?” the brunette looks down at you with a tilt of her head.
“The girls told me to come get you, they wanna see you” you inform her as you lean into her side, needing some comfort from your older sister. Her nails graze the skin of your arm as she lightly moves her hand up and down.
“But I would’ve come anyway” she furrows her eyebrows, sighing at the way her team was behaving. You shrug at her, not saying more. Thankfully her session did just end and so the two of you walk back the way you’ve come and you tell her about how recovery has been before you get to the entrance of the locker room. Alexia abruptly stops in front of the door, effectively stopping you from reaching for the handle as she holds onto your shoulders.
“Why don’t you get that ankle of yours checked out, have it strapped.” she gestures to the ankle you’ve hurt during yesterday’s game. You study her for a second before agreeing and with a kiss on her cheek you leave towards the physios. She didn’t want you hearing what she would come next. Alexia exhales as you round the corner and disappear out of her sight before pushing the door in and entering.
Enthusiastic yells are soon silenced by the look on her face. She’s wearing a hard scowl, her jaw set and fists clenched. Her eyes are sharp as she looks over the people in front of her, Mapi watching her with her own arms crossed over her chest. She has been waiting for this moment, wondering just how long your sister would wait before going off on the team.
The team holds their breath as Alexia takes a ragged breath, they’ve never seen her so angry.
“What the fuck is wrong with all of you!” she explodes, and suddenly she’s forgotten all about you asking her to handle it maturely, but how could she do that when they’ve been hurting her baby sister?  Her pent up aggression comes out as she starts, many of the girls’ eyes widening at her tone.
“What you’ve been doing to my sister is unacceptable! The way you’ve been behaving makes me question if we are a team!” She rages on, making sure to hold eye contact with each and every person as she catches her breath. A second later multiple voices ring out as they try to argue her words but she’s having none of it.
“Enough!” she shouts, a slap echoing throughout the room as she smacks the surface of the door with a spare shirt. They stand, like soldiers waiting for what would come next, beyond frightened by their captain’s rage. “I have seen enough. I have heard enough. You guys, all of you treat Y/N like she’s nothing! Not an ounce of respect in you for her, any of you!” her eyes connect with Mapi, assuring her that she’s not included in this. She had, after all, been the only one to treat you like a person.
“What does someone have to do to prove their worth? To be included? You all throw her away like she’s some useless rag and I will not have that, especially not when it’s my little sister.” she takes a breath to calm down, her head pounding from all the frustration she just let out and the remaining still in her. The girls cower back into their seats as they realize how they’ve been acting towards you.
“I am beyond disappointed in this team for making a teammate, you hear that? A teammate feels worthless, because you’ve neglected her even when she’s doing everything in her power to satisfy you all.”
“I agree, she’s done nothing but show how good she is on the field.” Irene adds that though Alexia is not looking for anyone’s approval, far beyond the point of caring, nevertheless, she does give the woman a nod for backing her up.
“She is insanely talented, without question better than I was at her age. She’s got the passing accuracy down to the millimeters, she shoots goals like no one else on this team and dios mío, she can dribble past all ten players and then finish perfectly!” Alexia throws her hands up in exasperation.
“She does get us a lot of goals.” Claudia admits quietly.
“And she’s super good at outsmarting defenders” Jana agrees, having experienced your skills firsthand.
“Yes she's a great player, but she's also a person with feelings and all of you have been ignoring that part.” Your sister concludes as the girls look down shamefully.
“That part too.” Mapi nods, angrily chewing on a piece of gum. The team stays quiet, each of them replaying their interactions with you and chastising themselves for how harsh they’ve been, how uncaring they were.
“We’re really sorry” a chorus of voices say and Alexia nods at that in understanding, finally unclenching her fists.
“I’m not the one you need to apologize to” she shakes her head, flashing the team another disappointed look. “Tomorrow, one by one -I'll make sure, you will all apologize to her. I want actual sorrys not half-assed ones because I asked you to.” she points through the girls who eagerly nod at her, many of them already thinking of ways to show you how much they regret their behavior.
The midfielder does not say goodbye as she slams the door behind her to punctuate all she’s said, though she did make sure to let Mapi know she doesn’t blame her too.
By the time Alexia gets to the physios room you’re already putting your shoe back on, animatedly conversing with the physio who’s sharing his own stories just as enthusiastically. She smiles at the interaction, happy to see you content even after a day of people ignoring you, people who were supposed to be your friends.
You jump in your seat in surprise when her hand squeezes your shoulder, but you hop off the table with another beaming smile. You wave goodbye to the physio before holding onto Alexia’s waist as you exit the training facility, herself pressing a kiss into your hair.
“Alba and I are taking you out for sushi tonight.” she informs you with a smile as you sit in the driver’s seat of her car. You were still adamant on not letting her drive, you didn’t want her to hurt her knee in any way.
“How come?”
“We’ve just missed you and besides, sushi is always good” she chuckles when you nod.
“Yeah and I’m always hungry” you cast a glance her way as you pull out of the parking lot of the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
“And I’ve missed you guys too” you admit, a confession that warms your sister's heart. Of course the three of you have seen each other almost everyday, especially you and Alexia, but you missed hanging out with them. You missed how peaceful your mind was when you were with your family.
Alexia stares ahead at the road as you drive the two of you home, forever grateful to have sisters like you and Alba. And you’re forever grateful for your big sisters, both who’d protect and love you no matter what.
It was now only your team’s job to recognize just how much they’ve hurt you and try to rebuild their relationships with you. No one was going to cross you again, not if Alexia could have a say in it.

I kind of hate that anon where they're like "oh you focus on US and Europe too much to claim to talk about international stuff". Besides relying on your volunteers to dig up stuff when they can, the policies of the US and Europe translate to affecting the international world. Tech capitalism from the West is fueling the genocide in the Congo in Africa. Military imperialism from the West is fueling genocide in the Levant area of West Asia. The West often ends up being an unremovable part of international problems either directly or indirectly, so the West is international by force.
Good points all!
