random modern au thoughts that have nothing to do with anything
Kaeya had a myspace , hasn't forgiven the fact that it died
surprisingly Diluc is the one that understands how to use makeup better than Kaeya
I would find it so funny if Rosaria had a myspace and Kaeya and her were like always shit talking eachother and they didn't make the connection later in life that they were that Kaeya and Rosaria until like they were hanging out Kaeya was talking about how he still hates that myspace died
Kaeya had a scale for when people cry, specifically drunk crying, that's based off like how people cry in the bachelor
Somebody gifted Klee a piggy bank that is painted to look like a clown. Nobody has confessed to gifting it to her and she likes it too much to throw it away. Everyone but Klee hates that thing.
Venti is not allowed to drive. He has had his license revoked because he crashed his car. So he just left his very broken down car in like some mall parking lot in the middle of nowhere cause what's the point of keeping it.
Kaeya uses Ventis license revoked status in arguments with Diluc to say "hey at least my license has only been suspended" and he sounds too proud of that for some reason. Kaeya still claims that the cop that pulled him over refused to believe the breathalyzer was wrong cause he was sick and took cold medicine.

[ @scareqrowbranwen | qrow // for summer ]
“I picked up dumplings,” Summer announces without preamble as she breezes in through the front door. Is it locked? Could be. She hadn’t bothered to check. Or… knock. “What kind? Don’t know, didn’t ask, they smelled good and I’m starving so–”
Best thing about downtown Vale is the food trucks swarming all over the place; and by ‘best thing’ what she really means is ‘sole redeeming feature of what is otherwise an overcrowded and overpriced urban hive.’ Summer rocks into the kitchenette and slams her hard-earned prize triumphantly down on the counter.
“—you in?” she calls out belatedly. He might not be. He more often isn’t, though with how busy Ozpin’s kept him these last couple weeks she’d wager on Qrow being here if he’s not out chasing shadows in the sticks. Snorting, she tears open the paper sack and starts scooping foil-wrapped dumplings onto the counter. “I’ve had a day. Been at the guildhouse in suspension hearing purgatory since ten. Ten! Had, like, a pastry for lunch. Better be quick if you want to eat any of this before I do.”

that awful stupid glass onion post that goes "uMm actually the mona lisa is painted on wood they gave him a fake!!" and the way it's been quickly taken up as canonical fact is actually going to make me scream. the entire catharsis of the end sequence hinges on the fact that it was the real mona lisa what the fuck are you people talking about.

How to Steer Clear of a Driver’s License Suspension
How to Steer Clear of a Driver's License Suspension
Like most people, you probably use your driver’s license daily, from going to work to running errands to traveling through your state and country. An active driving license authorizes you to operate a motor vehicle as you please!
No one enjoys a dreadful visit to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or dealing with law enforcement. Nonetheless, if you are on the brink of receiving a suspended license, you might be jeopardizing your freedom to drive again. In this circumstance, you may need to fight your license suspension to avoid significant fines. Though each situation is unique, you may increase your chances of avoiding your suspension.
Tumblr media
First, Become familiar with the point system:
In the United States, the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) may suspend or permanently revoke your license if they have probable cause. Law enforcement officers must have a valid reason to take you off the road. Some of the most common reasons are as follows:
Dangerous, reckless, careless, or unauthorized driving
Excessive speeding
Being Impaired or intoxicated while driving
Recurring ticketing or carrying high points on file
The point-based system gauges the validity of your current driving license and displays your record history. Driving infractions over time causes you to accumulate points. Depending on your state, if you collect enough points in a certain amount of time, authorities may suspend your driver’s license. After the first-time suspension, just a few more violations added to your record would trigger another subsequent suspension.
Secondly, Be aware of your license status:
An expired license simply means your current driver's license is outdated and is required to get renewed. If you get pulled over by a law enforcement officer, they will typically issue you a non-criminal traffic citation.
A suspended license means that the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has decided to take your driving privileges. Mainly because of financial reasons, such as failing to pay a traffic citation.
If you decide to continue driving after receiving a suspension, you are taking a considerable risk. Long story short, if you do not respect the violations, you make your case much worse. The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) can further limit your driving privileges, which could even lead to arrest and end up in jail.
Lastly, Consider a Defense Strategy to Avoid Suspension
If you drive your vehicle daily, let alone do it for a living, you should have a defensive approach to avoid further suspensions. Services are out there to help you keep up to date with your driver's license status.
It’s simple, visit avoidsuspension.com and sign up with any subscription option that fits you best. Then simply fill out basic information, enter your driver’s license info, and then you're all set! Hey Alvin, I was just wondering if you're still going to be starting university this year? Sorry if something ended up getting in the way of it - at least uni is something that is never too late to start, imo! Anyway, hope you're starting to feel slightly better from the flu <3
Hey my dude! Thanks for asking! My flu is pretty much over now, all that lingers is a beautiful asthmatic cough <3
I wish I was starting this year. See, instead of being grounded and rational like all the other kiddos my age, I decided to uproot again and move overseas because I simply just cannot deal with Australia anymore (y'all should check out the rental and economic/groceries crisis we're going through right now, we're apparently taking notes from America and are on the uprise of being a totally shit country. Like, no offense to America of course <3 The 90's were y'all's peak tho)
Ain't got enough money to fund school immediately upon moving to the next country (which actually has a better course that I wanna do and have wanted to do since childhood and is higher ranked than all of Australia's universities anyways), so I'll have my last summer of fun on the beach this year working before attending school next year in February
I feel like if I leave it any later than that it'll never happen since I'm 21 now, so it's a must for me to go ASAP now that I have a clear projectile of what I want to do
Thanks for checking in!

FLORIDA BANS GENDER MARKER CHANGES ON DRIVERS LICENSES
From Esqueer_ on Twitter:
"BREAKING: Florida has taken unilateral administrative action and banned gender marker changes on drivers licenses. Any trans person who has had theirs changed is potentially subject to suspension. Anyone attempting to change it after could be criminally prosecuted for "fraud."
If the language used in this directive is taken at face value, any trans person driving with a changed gender marker on their drivers license could be criminally charged with fraud.
This interpretation could potentially apply to anyone driving in the state, including tourists.
Any out trans person could have their license revoked or suspended at any time under this policy and unlikely to be able to be renewed with the current gender marker.
This is a massive and intrusive change erasing legal recognition and criminalizing trans people in the state."
Source:
Tumblr media
-------
It should be clear by now that those of us who are currently in "legal" limbo waiting for our birth certificate ammendments are SOL.
Trans Floridians and trans folks driving through Florida, please be very, very careful. Trans Floridians about to change your gender marker - unfortunately, I suggest cancelling your DMV appointment, in the event an overzealous clerk wants to charge you with fraud. Don't even bother with the birth certificate -- it will be a waste of time and money and potentially put you on some sort of List. :/
Again, I urge all trans Americans, regardless of state of residency, to get their passports asap. Not only to flee the country in an emergency, but as a form of ID that still has your proper gender on it.
