So I try to not talk about it much, but I struggle with the effects of depression periodically and the last few weeks haven't been great to me in the meals department. I found out about 'The Sad Bastard Cookbook' today though and it's been so useful. (Free to download too!) Lots of ideas for no-spoons meals.

saw a post with an airship going 'why don't our cities look like this' and im like hey buddy have you ever heard of this thing called the hindenburg disaster

why are so many people on reddit legitimately upset that the arknights x capcom collab isn't with dmc. the collab operator is literally 3 cats stacked on top of eachother. how can you ever be upset at this

There is a special uniquely bad place in hell for employers that say "remote" on their job listings only to tell you that it's in person when they offer you the job.

Like it's one thing to not have remote job openings but to bait and switch people who are most likely disabled and can't work in in-person settings is just the epitome of disgusting ableism.

Or that jobs that only offer remote work to "senior positions" because you know working from home is such a goddamn privilege and disabled people who can't work in physical settings just don't exist and don't need jobs (sarcasm)

i think some people are setting their expectations wayyyy too high for what shadow will be written like now. "the mandates are COMPLETELY gone shadow is fixed now guys!!" no theyre not literally all they said is that the rules have changed a little. like dont get me wrong thats good news too but a lot of people are exaggerating and setting themselves up for disappointment in my opinion

#also i dont really like how people talk about The Mandates tm as if theyre this evil force looming over the comics #thats only affecting how shadow is written and literally nothing else so we need to lift all of them now to fix the sonic franchise #when in reality its a set of rules and restrictions that sega has for how people should handle their characters #which isnt inherently unreasonable. especially considering the reason they started getting more strict with this stuff #and why theyre monitoring idw sonic so closely #(hint its because of archie sonic. go read every single issue ken penders wrote #and come back and tell me if you still think its a good idea for sega to allow complete creative freedom with no rules at all)#likes YES some of the rules are stupid especially the ones about shadow but sega having rules for their characters isnt inherently bad #and undoing all of them isnt the perfect solution here.#again pre reboot archie sonic shows perfectly what can happen when people can do whatever they want with the characters #with no input from sega #also some of the rules arent even like. bad?#like the no romance rule is awesome. love that. and the rule that game characters cant be killed off makes perfect sense to me #idk

For the first time ever, I am in a place where I do not hate my self…as much..I had horrid body dysmorphia and I still do and was SOOO hesitant to look at this video my little sister took of me today but 🙂 I am happy. I was laughing too so ignore my posture…… LMAO IF I GET CALLED SOMETHING PLS I JUST WANTED YO SHARE YHIS AS A MEMORY FOR LATER AND I CAN COMPARE ETC ETC NSNSK I was headed out with my bf too and he told me that my face got slimmer.. which I did notice today but he noticed too and said my waist is slimmer (I haven’t gone out with him for awhile except when I’m going to work covered in uniform sweater)

I’ve just been happy sometimes with the way I look finally for the first time in years…. 😞 (keep in mind, I do lift heavy weights)
