I've made too many (four!!) non-fandom, real-world-problems-related original posts/additions today. 😬 To even things out a little, here are some silly Hualian headcanons:

Hua Cheng collects Xie Lian's toenail clippings. Xie Lian thinks this is normal, reasonable, and actually quite cute, so he makes sure to clip his toenails where the clippings can be easily collected.

Hua Cheng wishes he had to breathe so he could suffocate to death via Xie Lian sitting on his face.

Xie Lian is unhinged about Hua Cheng, too. Aside from the pain thing from the birthday extra, he also knows things like exactly how many eyelashes Hua Cheng has. (The number doesn't change, for ghost reasons.)

Hua Cheng's calligraphy never improves. Xie Lian actually loves Hua Cheng's cursed handwriting, and Hua Cheng knows this, and Xie Lian knows he knows. They keep doing lessons anyway.

Hua Cheng is jealous of Xie Lian's stray cats. Sometimes he shapeshifts into a cat and tries to blend in with them. This is not successful in the sense that he actually manages to blend in, but it is successful in the sense that he gets lots of gege attention and chin scritches.

Slowly, as Xie Lian adjusts to married life, he becomes a blanket hog. Hua Cheng is delighted by this development. It's not like he needs a blanket. And even if he did, His Highness should feel so comfortable, and value his own needs/wants enough, that he demands things even in his sleep!

Xie Lian also relearns his sense for when textures, tastes, etc. are Not Right, and his urge to complain about them until they are Fixed. Hua Cheng loves this, too! A picky Xie Lian is a mentally healthy Xie Lian, and being ordered around by his god is like, the sexiest thing ever.

Both of them get sad if the other closes the bathroom door to pee :(

Got brain rot over the idea of cod but just….mix in a little magic. You being a cat familiar and part of the 141 or the Vaqueros, sent into Valeria’s base of operations. The plan was just to hide under her desk and leave after her but by some force of god she found you. But instead of just tossing you out or killing you, she seems to take a liking to you, holding you in her lap and giving you the most delightful scratches behind the ears and under your chin. Cuddles with you in her bed at night. They end up having to send Soap in just to get information cause they think you got caught and died but really you’re just living the pampered life.

Peasant

A huge grey-and-white she-cat with distinctive long, pale tabby fur on her chest, paws, and tail. She has folded ears and red eyes.

Unlike canon, she holds a special kind of hate for the Clans and what they stand for. When happily reunited with "Rusty", he lied about being a stray, which did fool her for some time. During this time, her Twolegs adopted a white kit named Cloud, Peasant growing fond of him quickly. She let Cloud visit "Uncle Rusty" but grew concerned when he stopped coming back as often, until he stopped showing up completely.

Upon learning that "Rusty" was actually FireHeart of Thunderclan, and that Cloud had been made a member of the Clan under the name CloudKit/Paw, Peasant was furious. After failing a solo rescue mission, she turned to Bloodclan for help, prompting a raid on the Clan. Cloud wasn't found, and later it was learnt that he had been taken by Twolegs; It was to the dismay of Thunderclan & relief of Peasant. She became a spy for Bloodclan up until Scourge's death. When the Clans fled the forest, she felt a surge of joy, but her heart ached. She wished for Cloud's safety, where ever he was, and wondered what became of the cat she used to call brother
