If you could have a power related to one of the four elements (fire, water, earth and air) which one would you like to have?
I love water, but I love plants even more, so I think I would personally choose earth but because of the plants and flowers side of it instead. I would also love to have healing powers and they are usually linked to the earth element.

Genuinely in hindsight it's so funny that the mcu added the lore of thor receiving prophetic visions and dreams on the regular just to awkwardly tease the next avengers movie and then literally never mentioned it again. Truly unparalleled lack of planning on marvel studios part there

#okay random story time i don't know why im narrating this or how i even stumbled upon this memory rn#but i generally do sad vents in the tags and for a change this is a funny one#so back in highschool (i say highschool but i mean junior college) i used to visit this park near my house a lot#i was an sg kid back then and the thing about parks there is that they're kinda beach-parks and they have the best cycling/running tracks#they're also really massive parks so i used to go often. sometimes bicycling. other times walking. yeah. the park was like my sanctuary#anyway. there are quite a few bike rental areas in the park and there was a cute lil shop next to this one particular rental place#and they sold like biscuits and water and icecreams and stuff and i went there a lot#and on one particular day i went there and there was this guy around my age part timing at that shop#now again this might be culture specific bc i dont see it in india but part timing in uni/pre-uni is pretty common is sg#a lot of shops and restaurants employ teenagers to twenty something ppl for part time jobs... anyway im just adding context#point is that i had walked to the park with my mum that day and she told me to go buy a couple icecreams so i went to the shop#and i saw this guy around my age and like. not to be a simp but this dude was so pretty?#like he saw someone had come to the counter so he looked up and shot a smile and i thought i got slapped by sunlight#i could spend the next several lines going on about his pretty tan skin and his glowing raven eyes but this is pathetic enough so ill stop#anyway he saw me and smiled really wide (customer service smile- i thought to myself) and i smiled back and asked for icecreams or whatever#and then this guy started getting chatty right. so he was all 'you come here (to the park) often right? ive seen you with your bike a lot'#see now. the problem with me is that i always think im bothering people. this poor dude was attempting to make conversation#and i was replying with one word answers#and i wasn't even realizing that he didnt want that. bc he kept asking more questions and i. kept. shutting them down.#then when he gave me the icecream he was all 'are you here alone? icecream alone is no fun... i could keep you company if you want..?'#which. he was being really cute about right. but because im so fucking dense i was all 'oh no i came with my mom actually'#and he went 'aw man' in this really cute but faux sad way which i didnt understand at the time and i left and then#after three full fucking days. i realized this man was tryna hit on me?#and then i went to the park like a week later and he was gone. poof. i even thought of asking the uncle in charge of that place#then i got too embarrassed and chickened out#yeah so turns out my neurodivergence neutralizes any sort of rizz that comes my way#i could've been chilling with a cute boyf rn but no😩 this is my destiny#megumi in the tags

Had a weird Hollow Knight-related dream a couple days ago, so I decided to draw a major scene I remembered from it dgsgshf

#hollow knight#little ghost#hk ghost#the knight#hk hornet#hornet#alright. as of writing these tags it's been a week since the original dream so! let's see what i remember dgsgsgf#i was playing a game. which was a sequel to hollow knight ((Not silksong though))#there was some new sort of divine infection in hallownest and hornet had asked ghost to investigate it. they ended the last one after all!#the red glowy spike gate thingy is what you jumped into to enter the 'infected' areas#though it actually led directly to a hub world type of place. which was kinda like an expanded base for the grimm troupe?#more like an entire lair instead of a camp. also some greek gods were there for some reason lmao. they had their own special rooms too#so sidenote but- new headcanon that there are grimm troupe members named ares athena artemis &... venus lmao. not aphrodite for some reason#also monomon was there?? i think??? except she was cooking????? she had a sidequest to deliver something to someone though i dunno hdgfhdgh#i remember going back to the grimm troupe lair a couple times throughout my 'playthrough'#anyway. the 'infection' this time around was more of a glitchy physical corruption thing? rather than a mind corruption.#though there were still aggressive enemies to fight. but i remember getting a map from cornifer early on and he was. probably infected#i think part of his body was covered in electricity or something? so he wasn't fully visible? but he was still acting normally#there was also a moth who was the seer but then later wasn't the seer (but was still the same moth) dghgdhf. i delivered stuff to her#that glowing white wall thing in the drawing was like a one-way gate. you could only cross it from the other side and ghost came from there#i guess things looped back up somehow i dunno ghdgfhgf#anyway. ghost's red eyes. those are significant! those happened while i was walking through a corridor. it had pools of shallow water#(shallow enough to just walk through) and also creatures that were lightseeds but red.the implication was that they were full of Blood lmao#and as i went along killing them--as one does--as i walked through the hall. they started turning the water red too#there was also narration about this as it was happening ashdgsf. specifically the narrator said the water turned red before it actually did#ghost's eyes slowly turned red too. but aside from that they were fine! since. they're the player character and the player is perfectly fin#BUT. when they encountered hornet again. she thought they were infected. and that she lost the only family she had left </3#she didn't attack though. instead she just jumped into the red spike gate without a word. decided to try to fix everything herself#but eventually you'd encounter her again down below and she'd fight you. didn't actually get to that in the dream though#aand i'm out of tags </3 i wanted to talk about what i'd do to make this make more sense as an au or something now that i'm awake but. :c

#i can’t express how safe i have felt here versus the US over the past several years specifically#no guns… good healthcare… clean environment… good childcare benefits… good food…#no strong religious chokehold permeating society#vaccines and masking aren’t a moral conundrum#functioning public transportation system#functioning postal system#don’t have to worry about people randomly yelling at you#many convenience stores open 24/7#focus on seasonal eating so produce tastes better and you appreciate it more#i can walk the streets at night#in my city all childcare costs and child medical costs are waived up to 3 years old#cost of childbirth fully covered including a week long stay in the hospital after#you can drink the water#early public education has a focus on community and natural science#credit cards are automatically set up to autopay out of your bank account#my company does my taxes for me#did i mention no guns?#i could go on#like i have my philosophical issues with the country for sure but my base needs are covered and that means a lot as a parent

I'm supposed to be getting in shape for fire season but it's currently swooping season so the birds want to kill me so therefore the walking routes are compromised.
Also I won't be able to walk at the wetlands soon because the snakes will be coming out of hibernation and I had 3 close snake run ins in the past year.
Two Eastern Browns and one Tiger snake. One Eastern Brown I nearly stepped on, my foot was hovering over it before I realised it was there. Fortunately the snake didn't feel threatened enough to strike me and we both escaped unharmed.
The tiger snake actually tried to strike and was only a couple of inches from my crotch. I never legged it faster.
Don't get me wrong, I love snakes but both of those snakes are among the deadliest on the planet and I choose life.
#i always tell people that Australia isnt that bad or dangerous#then i say stuff like this and maybe this country is dangerous#then again im someone who always goes on dumb impulsive adventures#i woke up one morning and drove 9 hours so i could see snow as a day trip#i also drove 16 hours in one day into the outback and then home just so i could spend half an hour at the mad max museum#and the only reason i came face to face with a tiger snake was because i was catching yabbies in flood waters#both brown snakes were on my walking trail tho

When you have to take off your socks to change into clean socks and your bare feet touch the floor for exactly fifteen seconds and the dry, smooth sensation makes you want to chop your toes off
#It’s awful#I used to think short carpet was bad but vinyl flooring is the literal WORST#They should make socks that are lined with a rubbery nubby texture for people with sensory issues and/or allodynia#who find light or sliding contact painful and need deep pressure to function#This is why my grandma always wore her penny loafers— even in the hospital bed#I know what you were grandma#I KNOW you#She knew the lyrics to every song ever from 1890–1980 and would spontaneously burst into song if something you said reminded her of a song#And her mother used to sit down and read the dictionary for fun and was essentially a walking encyclopedia#despite dropping out of school at a young age because she just absorbed everything she could find#My aunt talks really really fast and for a really long time and constantly crochets to keep her hands busy#and according to my mom would rock in a rocking chair for hours and hours#All of my uncles and my mom are slightly socially awkward and take LOONG pauses between words sometimes#and something about their neutral facial expressions is “off” and guess who else looks “off” when I’m not purposefully grandiose#Moi [frames face with hands]#me#I can’t quite put my finger on it but I look a little too “dreamy” and like a fish out of water simultaneously#Like “the lights are off but someone is definitely in there watching and it’s kind of creeping me out”#And I will also read the dictionary for fun and I also happen to be a walking encyclopedia#Right now I’m into herbalism and mushrooms and psychotropic substances so I will recite paragraphs of information unsolicited#about any of those things#I guess it’s a branch off my main interest in psychology and human biology

I really do love being outside.
#i kinda wish i could go out past my yard again but i don't think I'll be able to handle that anytime soon#i miss going to the lake. i don't do well with water but i like watching the mayflys there and collecting pretty rocks.#i miss going to 'that damn (Dam) festival' down in the park. and walking around the zoo to draw the animals.#oh well. at least my yard is nice enough‚ i suppose.#we have some really pretty pink flowers that finally bloomed. i can hear the frogs‚ and the owl that lives nextdoor. sometimes bats too.#and our grape vine is looking very pretty‚ though i don't think we'll get anything edible from it (we never do)#occasionally i can hear the train go by. and it's thunderstorm season. my favorite time of year. we should be getting fireflies soon.#I'm sad i can't leave my house. but at least what i have can be beautiful‚ while it's here.#vent#a little bit. I'm trying to see the good of being housebound.

#when i called her from the other side and had a squeaky toy she came very enthusiastically#definitely worth the hour drive i think#everyone was so nice! and she was big about stopping before it got too exhausting/unfun#and making sure misty was as comfortable as she could be#and not rushing her too quickly to the water. we walked around the pool a couple times first and checked out the toys and such#the instructor was so great about keeping it a positive experience even though misty was a bit unsure/unhappy at times#i would strongly recommend this place to anyone. such a good experience#next time we're going to work on being excited/motivated for a toy instead of treats...#going to have to find something extra special that floats and only bring it out for this#she likes to play but she's really not toy driven... may be difficult#the instructor thought maybe her flirt pole would work so tbd#whippet#misdemeanor#dogblr#petblr#swimming

I need people to understand that my hyperfixation ships are limited to one thing: a man who is usually in full control of himself meeting 1 woman and losing complete and utter control over absolutely everything he does.
