Hey so like, maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I was looking at the fragments that we get of Gwen's statement in ep 21, and

Gwen's story sounds mundane, even without any skeptic goggles on. A little girl opens the door to a long-abandoned shed, and finds a dead fox covered in maggots. Open and shut, gross, but not supernatural

Except for the fact that it comes out like a statement. That it's being compelled out of her. That it's recorded on a tape recorder

And then I remembered how Sam and Alice found worm tracks on the floor of the Archivist's office, so I went to check the episode 10 transcript, which proved me right. But then I scrolled down further, right to the end of the episode, and:

I didn't think about it at the time. But why does Sam reference a dead fox specifically? That seems... Very odd??

And in light of Gwen's statement, probably deliberate??

i posted abt this on my tiktok story but i need to rant more so im putting it here 😭😭 the way a lot of mikosai shippers (on tiktok, pinterest, reddit, etc) are is such a big reminder to me of why i hate the strictly romantic soulmates trope with every fiber of my being 😭😭😭 people who interpret soulmates as "that means theyre canonically together" regardless of how the characters actually feel about each other and if they ACTUALLY get together is so fucking gross to me oh my god its so fucking gross i hate forced romance so bad 😭😭 someone cant just say "hey, we're soulmates so you HAVE to date me and its literally weird and impossible for you to like anyone else because i said so!!" and also aiura WOULDNT do that anyway ???? Haha hey gang you ever think about the fact that both of Juanaflippas original lives were lost in an unfair way :D

Her first life was technically lost due to neglect, but heres the thing. When q slime checked her tasks they were all green, so he assumed that mariana mustve done them, and then when he checked the next day. They were still green. Thus he freaked out, and learned that no one had been taking care of her (or at least hadnt taken care of her the day before).

Then the beds breaking counting towards the egg death. q Mariana quite literally made a mistake idk what to tell ya man. And the fact that they broke instantly was just. Yeah. Though, iirc the beds don’t break instantly anymore. I think. But even then its so.

But now we see that the eggs can. Survive a nuclear bomb.

I know it was the beginning of the server i get that. But at the same time. We all know the federation just picks and chooses right? Like the 2, 3 times that the eggs have gone missing?
