INTERVIEW WITH A WRITEBLR — @bookworm-center

Who You Are:

Izzy || She/her

I love Marvel and the Grishaverse. I'm obsessed with the anime Dr. Stone which is severely underrated, and I live in the gorgeous islands of Hawaii (though which I won't say).

What You Write:

What genres do you write in? What age ranges do you write for?

Fanfic and fantasy. Middle grade.

What genre would you write in for the rest of your life, if you could? What about that genre appeals to you?

Fantasy because I love making another world with different systems and the idea of creating a new place just seems fun.

What genre/s will you not write unless you HAVE to? What about that genre turns you off?

Historical fiction. I grew up reading I Survived and that was enough to stop me from liking the genre (though I do like some of those books). I just can't stand writing about events that already happened but with not real people for some reason.

Who is your target audience? Do you think anyone outside of that would get anything out of your works?

My target audience is middle grade, though I think it's possible for older audiences to get into my works because I do talk about some deep topics that aren't often discussed in middle grade books.

What kind of themes do you tend to focus on? What kinds of tropes? What about them appeals to you?

I mostly focus on strong female characters, or broken, not quite perfect characters. I love enemies to lovers and rivals to lovers, mainly because I love the idea that you don't have to be perfect to be loved and grow into a different person.

What themes or tropes can you not stand? What about them turn you off?

Honestly, I hate cheating and miscommunication tropes. They just annoy me, because I can't stand that they wouldn't hear the other person out for miscommunication and they always go back to them anyways. I also can't stand when toxic relationships are portrayed as romantic, for obvious reasons.

What are you currently working on? How long have you been working on it?

I'm currently working on a fantasy novel (which needs a new name) about a princess who locked away her magic and lost her memories, but now they are returning and causing her corruption. I've been working on the for a little over a year and I've just finished my second draft, though I have much more to go.

Why do you write? What keeps you writing?

I think I write because I know that whatever's in my head needs to come out somehow. There's too much crowding my head but it's nice to know that there's a whole world waiting to get out, and that kind of what keeps me writing: to let the stories in my head be told.

How long have you been writing? What do you think first drew you to it?

I've been writing for about ten years (which isn't that long as I'm much younger than you'd think). I've always been a big bookworm so I think that sort of drew me towards writing because I was like "oh! I can write too!" and that's how I got started.

Where do you get your inspiration from? Is that how you got your inspiration for your current project? If not, where did the inspiration come from?

I'm not sure where I get my inspiration. I have some weird dreams and some of those become book blurbs, or things I like in shows get added to a story. I get ideas from lots of things, I suppose. The inspiration for my current project has been in my head for a long time, the main character has always been an alternate me made to comfort me, so I guess I finally wanted to tell her story.

What work of yours are you most proud of? Why?

Either my current work or another story I've started about teens who get superpowers from boba tea. I'm most proud of them because I love the idea and the scenes in them.

Have you published anything? Do you want to?

No not yet, though I do want to publish my current project.

What part of the publishing process most appeals to you? What part least appeals to you?

Actually seeing my book published and other people reading it is kind of what keeps me going sometimes. Though I really hate thinking of editing. Too much pressure!

What part of the writing process most appeals to you? What part is least appealing?

I really like planning, to be honest. I like to do sketches and maps and write my plot down which is so fun to me. Again, I hate editing. That's what I'm currently doing and it's such a pain.

Do you have a writing process? Do you have an ideal setup? Do you write in pure chaos? Talk about your process a bit.

I don't have an ideal setup because I'm still in school so I write when I get a chance. I work best when I have music playing (I love the Epic: the musical soundtrack!) or watching musicals in the background. So yeah, I guess you could say my process is just a little chaotic but I get a lot of work done.

Your Thoughts on Writeblr:

How long have you been a writeblr? What inspired you to join the community?

I haven't been a writeblr long, I'm mostly a booklr but maybe a month? I saw a lot of really cool writing prompts and I wanted to do that, but alas, I don't have many writing related posts.

Shout out some of your favorite writeblrs. How did you find them and what made you want to follow them?

Ooh I can't think of any specific ones right now, but I love the ones that post prompts cause they get me in a writing moods and the ones that analyze others books because it's fun to see the skill behind some masterpieces.

What is your favorite part about writeblr?

I love the writing memes to be honest. They always make me laugh at the worst times but they're so relatable.

What do you think writeblr could improve on? How do you think we can go about doing so?

I don't know, I think our community's nice as it is. I wish we did more collabs, though maybe I just haven't seen any of the ones that exist.

How do you contribute to the writeblr community? Do you think you could be doing more?

Well, I've released some random prompts but I know there's a lot more that I can do I just haven't had the chance to yet.

What kinds of posts do you most like to interact with?

I mostly interact with booklr posts; love all the ones about the Grishaverse.

What kind of posts do you most like to make?

I make Grishaverse posts as of now but I'd like to start doing more writeblr stuff and book reviews.

Finally, anywhere else online we may be able to find you?

I don't have it set up yet but I'm planning to start a booktube channel called "b00kworm_c3nt3r" (without the numbers was taken) so check on my posts for updates on that!

Questions For Fun:

Which author would you say has impacted you the most? Why?

Currently I feel like the author that has impacted me the most is Leigh Bardugo. She is an absolute inspiration for fantasy writing and worldbuilding; I want to create worlds like hers someday. However, I'm sure there are other authors, I just cannot remember any of them at the minute.

Top five favorite books? What about them makes them your favorite

That is a really hard question! I change favorite books so often! I think that Six of Crows and the final Renegades book are definitely up there because I adore those characters. I really liked the book "Stranger Than Fanfiction" by Chris Colfer. That was one of the only books to ever make me sob. I also have a deep love for "The Princess and the Fangirl" by Ashley Poston because of the geekiness of that book. For the final favorite, I'm going to go with Rule of Wolves, again by Leigh Bardugo. I can't rank those books though, but those are probably my top five.

Do you have an ideal reading setup? A little nook? Curling up on the couch? Etc.

I don't really have an ideal reading setup since I mainly read in school after finishing work. I do really like to read curled up in my bed or on the beach when we visit one.

Bull - Season 5 - Review/Recap and Breakdown.

*********** Spoilers Ahead, Read This Review At Your Risk ***********

Hello and Welcome Back Bull Fans and Long-time readers of my content. I hope you are safe and well wherever you are in the world. I am so sorry again for being absent for most of The Bull coverage for 2021. that I suffer from serious mental health issues that i have only have started seeking help for again. Also i had a lack of motivation towards Bull. . Because I felt I was not connecting to the material that the show was producing. so i stopped watching it all together. Nevertheless, I re- watched the whole season of Bull recently and I thought that I would give my recent thoughts and opinions on the show and I will be ready for what i believe to be the last season of the show. Season 6, when that comes back in 47 days time. . And I have come back better and hopefully stronger than ever. When I last posted to this website and social media, it gave me some critical feedback about my work. In every review I post to my website or on this platform. I make note to my viewers of my content that it’s okay to give constructive feedback. Because I enjoy getting that type of feedback. Because it gives me the opportunity to improve and explore my mistakes that I have made.

The Character Development of Season 5 for Bull

Dr. Jason Bull (Bull)

During Season 5 of the show, we get to see more of the softer side of Bull and what he would do for his clients and his family. Which, over I think, was great to see MW play aside to the role that we have seen since his last days on NCIS. Which allowed for the moments that are small but remembered for the character. At the moment, I am currently satisfied with how Bull is developing, but I feel like there is something missing at the moment. I don’t know. Let me know what you think.

Benny

S5 of the show was the Best for Freddy. As it gave Benny more overall development. But it was a bitter note, as FR is leaving the show for good. As I could see more of this character in the terms of the personal and professional relationships and the overall development of Benny, breaking away from TAC and creating his own identity. I also kind of had this notion that FR was leaving the show or fashion. Because of how the character was being written and also some media interviews that some of the cast members did in preview for S5 of the show. I just hope that the Bull writer’s room give Benny a storyline that would suit the character from leaving the show. And I wish FR all my best for what to his next projects are going to be in the future.

Isabella (Izzy) Colon (Bull).

Issy has been a breath of fresh air in the show for S5 because it gave Bull and the TAC team more of a family-style feeling of what the actors and the writers are trying to create on-screen. This Season to me feels like a re-introduction of Issy, as we have seen this character, as a high-powered businesswoman to a mother and a partner to Bull. So I hope that in season 6, we get to see more of the softer side of her and get to see more of her as a new woman to work with or exploring a new aspect of her character.

Chunk

S5 for Chunk was to establish the character more in the show's canon, As FR is leaving the show, I believe that the writers of the show we’re working towards making Chunk the principal attorney at TAC or creating aversion that could step into that role overall. But from what the writers are creating, I believe we may see a new character come into the Business. I just hope that we get to see more of Chuck in the courtroom with Bull as a lawyer.

Marissa

S5 for Marissa, to me, was a mixed bag for me, as we got to see some closure on her former marriage and what other problems that are she faced in terms of her personal life. But in her professional life that we can see that is she on the top of her game. I just hope that we get to see more of Marissa and her high-school crush on a coffee date. Because I think they would be the second-best couple on the show, after Bull and Issy.

Taylor

Taylor’s Season 5 for Me was lukewarm in terms of character development because we only see glimpses of her personal life and but there was not much else that I would consider being developed. It is sad to they underrated this character in terms of character development. I feel like she has become the Chuck of earlier seasons of the show.

Danny

S5 for Danny, we finally got to see more of her in action in the professional work at TAC and in her personal life as we got to see more of her background come to life in the storyline about her dad. But I think I need to see more in terms of the background of this character because I believe she is one of the most even I would go as far as to say that is she is one of the most under-used characters on the show. I just hope that S6 gives her the best send-off or storylines for her actor.

As we move through the character development of this show’s 5th season, the audience gets to see where the characters that we have fallen for in terms of the relationships that they have or the people that play those characters. I just hope all the behind-the-scenes drama and in media can handle it in a way that still creates the show that we know and has loved since 2016. So with that, let’s move on to my next major section of this review, it’s that romance and relationship side to the show that the audience tunes in for.

The Relationship Development of Season 5 of Bull

Through the show’s run over the last 5 to 6 years, we have seen some great and solid relationships and we have seen some of not the best and in this section we are going to be having a look at those relationships in more detail and what I would like to see happen in the future season that is coming for this cast of relationships

Dr. Jason Bull and Isabella Colon (Bull).

Well, well, here we are again with my favorite couple again on this show. During S5 of the show, we got to see more personal side to this relationship that we have not seen in the past, as they got and were divorced. But we get to see a proposal and a wedding during the show’s 5th season. So I hope we get to see more of these moments of the couple and the little family moments. Because they have become the heart of the show, that MW was promoting in a TV insider interview for the preview of S5 of the show.

Bull and Benny,

Throughout Season 5 of the show, we get to see more of Benny breaking out from Bull’s Shadow and creating a new identity and name for himself by running for a job that he has been wanting to do for several years and their personal relationship has plated out with the crappy season 4 and Baby Bull. Now Bull is focusing more on the family side of his life. As much as I have been a fan of this friendship on - screen, I think there was more to be explored of how the two met and what lead to the downfall of the relationship.

As FR is leaving the show, we will not see more of that great friendship that they had, because of how the writers of the show, creating more of a separation between the two. But overall I have enjoyed this relationship and I look forward to seeing what they can do in S6 with the actor ultimately leaving the show.

Bull and Chunk

As word has gotten the news about FR’s departure from the show early this month. So the development of this relationship has been critical role in the relationship side to the TAC team to be handled in a good way for the show. Now this friendship/mentorship develops further into Season 6 of the show.

Bull and the TAC Team

Throughout the 5th season of the show, I believe that there was a change in the dynamics of the team. This leads to I believe the most significant development of some characters since season 3. with the likes of Taylor and Danny. I hope in S6 of the show that they continue these dynamics and create more relationships within. Because I think we can bring a new character into the fold of the show. Which would allow for a new way of thinking on the show’s principles cast, maybe.

Overall, the relationship development of Season 5 has been significant from the heart of the show, Bull and Isabella, and the relationship bombshells for Benny and Bull. Plus, the closure of some relationships that we have seen in the past comes to an untimely end. But I think that the Bull’s writers’ room of the show, continues to develop these relationships on the show.

I believe we are going to see more of a different type of show that we have not seen in a long time; I believe. On to the next and final section of this review. It is my overall thoughts on the season and what were my best, worst, and most cringe moments of the show.

My Final Thoughts and Opinions of Season 5 of Bull.

Season 5 of Bull, in my humble opinion, is one of the better seasons of the show in terms of relationship and character development. As well as the brief moments of drama and emotions that were thrown in there for a delightful mixture. But I think there was something missing from the show. Maybe it’s the chemistry of some actors or it was the external factors of the show that created a greater impact than needed. But

I also believe that we got to see one of the most internally developed seasons over the years, which I think that the show needed to bring back more of those small and little minor details. Overall was a very good solid addition to the canon of the overall story. And with that, I would like to talk about my moments of best and worst and mostly the very cringe parts of the show’s 5th season.

Best Moments of Bull Season 5

The little family moments that Bull and Issy have throughout the show’s 5th season.

Some performances that were developed and created by FR on the show were the best that we have seen in a long time from him. I just wish that we could have seen more of those in the future season to come

The relationship development was a critical aspect of the survival of the show for me. As help to see more of a change in the show's dynamics and created more of a universe in the cast of characters on the show.

I want to see more of Marisa’s high school crush and her relationship with Dave. Because I think it would well suit them for the show overall dynamics of the relationships that the writers are creating

The performances of the Show’s minor characters I have enjoyed this season are the following

Marisa in Season 5 Episode 4, going through her divorce episode and how that played out for her

Chunk in the courtroom in most of the episodes were some of the better performances that the actor have given over the years

Danny’s storyline of the death of her dad and how that ties into her overall character development going forward.

The Worst Moments for Me in the 5th Season of Bull

The moments of Bull S5 were the worst on the show. That some episodes had a case - base written into the storyline. It doesn’t match the overall story of the show. As I feel like they could have been written differently. Plus, the jump cuts are back and give me flashbacks to when I was watching Law and Order SVU over the past couple of months. I think that sometimes in a context that they can be well written but sometimes they can be off-putting.

The cringe moments of S5

These moments for me were the whole of episode 1. I don’t know why it is a cringe moment for me. I know some of my readers will disagree with me and say it is one of the better episodes of the show. Overall, there have been better premiere episodes of the show. I think this episode gave the audience of the show a sign of what the characters and the relationships were going to think and what the writers want to achieve overall in the show. if I ever go back and watch S5 again from the start, that is one episode I will not miss in seeing.

Overall, The 5th Season of Bull was critical and successfully added to the canon in the overall story of the show. There were some moments that were the best and some should have stayed in the writers’ room. I hope we continue to see this trend going forward in S6 and beyond. If the show has any more stories to tell.

Digimon Adventure Shipping Masterpost - Part 1

Digimon is the first fandom I ever got into where I started actively shipping characters, and Digimon is a treasure trove for multi-shippers since it features a large group of friends being forced together for long periods of time and being emotionally vulnerable while fighting for their lives and relying on one another.

Now for this reason, I maintain that there’s a good basis for nearly every possible ship out there and I’ll be talking about most of them within the Adventure continuity. Just giving the lowdown about them, fairly listing their pros and cons, and explaining why someone might like them while others might not. Afterwards giving my personal thoughts on each.

Now a few ground rules before we start. First off I’m only covering the adventure seasons and movies, minus the reboot and the newest anniversary film as I haven’t seen those yet. Secondly I’ll only be covering the main human characters of those films/seasons. Last off, I won't be covering crack and OT3s, just because this list is too damn long as it is. Characters must have interacted on screen before, be no more than five years apart, and this probably can go without saying, but they can’t be related to each other.

Oh, and any antis starting shit will be blocked!

So without further ado, LET THE SHIPPING BEGIN

Tai x Matt (Taito)

Pros: If you like rivals to lovers, boy do I have a ship for you. Taito is like the typifier of this trope. They constantly fight, but are best friends, and when they do argue it’s usually over deeper things than just their rivalry/jealousy. Once the fighting is over, they tend to become stronger people with a firmmer relationship. They also hold a lot of respect for each other that only grows as they get older. While not a ‘canon’ ship, (most of these aren’t) there’s a lot of gay subtext between them, especially towards the end of Tri. Now how much of that is the writers throwing the fans a bone and how much of it is just anime being anime, who knows.

Cons: If you’re not a fan of the rivals to lovers trope than this ship may not be for you. You may prefer them as friends only, and hey that’s valid since they indeed are friends first and foremost. Also if you’re looking for a more officially canon gay ship/rep you may be disappointed with how they are portrayed.

Personal Ranking (6/10) I’m one of those people who doesn’t typically like ‘rivals to lovers’. Just not my thing. However I’ve warmed to this ship over the years due to fanworks and the fact that Tri is indeed very, very gay.

Tai x Sora (Taiora)

Pros: I don't know if this is the most popular pairing in the show, but it’s high up there. All throughout the first season and the second movie these two were heavily hinted at. Especially in the dubs. Sadly it came to nothing, but for a lot of people this was the first thing they shipped in the fandom. But beyond just the hints, these two have that ‘childhood best friends to lovers’ dynamic that resonates with a lot of people. They’ve known each other the longest out of the group and were friends before getting stuck in the digital world. Now add in how they they compliment each other so well, Sora’s level headedness getting through to Tai stubbornness, Tai’s optimism and can do attitude encouraging the more doubt ridden Sora, and their shared interests in sports and kicking butt, and you can see how this pairing took off.

Cons: The writers tried their damndest to sink this ship in season two by pairing off Sora with Matt. Much to everyone’s frustration. Even Sorato fans agree that it was handled poorly. Since then, the writers of the fourth film and Tri have tried to keep things more open ended between the three of them, but for some it’s not enough and the bad writing can indeed kill this ship. There’s also the usual reasons of simply not gelling with their dynamic or preferring them with other characters. Some may even like the unusual subversion of the lead guy not getting the girl but remaining good friends.

Paronal Ranking (8/10) - Count me with those that first shipped them in season one when it first aired. That said, they were never my absolute favorites so season two’s reveal didn't hurt me as much as it did for some others. It’s still my preferred ship for the two of them, but I’m flexible and open to others.

Tai x Izzy (Taishirou)

Pros: While not as popular as the previous ships, Taishirou is really cute. Izzy and Tai interact with each other a lot. In fact Tai might be the character Izzy is on screen with the most besides his digimon. They’re very much a comedy duo, but with enough underlining heart to heart moments to sell the idea that they have a working basis for something deeper. Also Izzy isn’t afraid to call Tai out on his bullshit, which is good, but it’s not like Tai ever actually listens.

Cons: They are primarily a comedy team. Tai is very much a foil for Izzy’s more serious nature, but play for laughs rather than angst like it is with Taito. If that doesn’t jive with you then this ship isn’t going to appeal to you as much as some others.

Personal Ranking (7/10) - I more drawn to this dynamic then say the aggressive sexual tension of Taito, so this was always going to rank higher than that one for me.

Tai x Mimi (Michi)

Pros: Mimi is one of the more popular characters to ship with. She gets paired with nearly everyone in the group routinely. Now this isn’t the most popular ship featuring her, but it has its share of hardcore supporters. I think it’s cause both she and Tai are the most outgoing and optimistic of the group. So it’s a case of two very upbeat people pumping each other up while also being forward enough to call out each others bull.

Cons: If you prefer Mimi with someone else this is obviously not going to appeal to you. There’s also the issue of her not being with the main group in season two and therefore doesn’t have as strong a relationship with the others as she should.

Personal Ranking (7/10) - I really like just about all of the Mimi ships and this is no exception.

Tai x Joe (Taijyou)

Pros: If Mimi is over-shipped then Joe is under-shipped. All the Joe ships are underrated, imho. Heck Joe himself is underrated. He plays off most of the characters really well, including Tai. If you like ‘opposites attract’ then you can’t get more opposite than Joe and Tai and they’re really entertaining for it. Plus there also those more serious moments to suggest that they are good friends and have that basis to build off of.

Cons: They’re again a comedy duo, and that might not be your thing. More than that though, they have the same arc. They’re opposites but they grow and develop in much the same way. As such, they don’t team up as much as say Tai and Izzy do.

Personal Ranking (6/10) - I really like Joe, he’s one of my favs, but this isn’t the best ship with him. Though it still can be cute on occasion.

Tai x T.K. (Taikeru)

Pros: This pairing only works if we’re talking about season two or later, and that is where they have less interaction. But I won’t act like there’s zero basis here. They were stuck together in S1 same as all the others and did have lots of friendly interactions there, they do team up now and then in 02, and they are there with the rest of the group in Tri. As far as dynamics go, both older Tai and older T.K. are very chill and laid back people. They’re more level headed, but always up for fun when they aren’t busy saving the world, so it’s easy see them getting along well with one another. There’s also the unrequited crush route if you wanna go that way with T.K.

Cons: There is an age gap here. Now it doesn’t matter as much in later seasons or post series, but it can be enough to put people off initially. Especially since it’s the time period when that age gap would actually get in the way is also when they have most of their interactions with one another. I call this a good for fanfiction but not so good for AMVs pairing.

Personal Ranking (4/10) - Yeah not enough of them interacting when they’re both older to really sell this one for me. I’ve read the occasional fanfic with them, but I don't actively ship it myself.

Tai x Davis (Taisuke)

Pros: Davis and Tai are two peas in a pod. In fact they are so alike that the series comments on this several times and Tai even appoints him as the new leader. As such they get to bond over a lot of things on the occasions they do interact. Also, while Davis is the same age as T.K., he and Tai only ever interact in season 02 when they’re both already young teens. So things are a little less awkward on that front. There’s also the unrequited crush route, or post series fanfic, as always.

Cons: They only ever interact in 02 where Tai’s role is greatly reduced, so limited screen time. Hopefully the upcoming anniversary movie will give us some more interaction between all of the 02 gang and the original group, regardless of shipping. There’s also the fact that age gap will be a hurdle for some people no matter what point in their timeline you have them hook up. Three or four years don’t matter when their both adults in their twenties, but it can make a difference in high school, so context is key with a ship like this. It helps that the show covers several years and all the characters age, but it’s up to you if that’s enough or not. Then there’s people who just don’t like their dynamic and think they’re too similar to each other.

Personal Ranking (5/10) I like it more than Taikeru, if only because Davis is my favorite character in 02 and like the rest of the new digidestined, he really doesn’t get enough love from the fandom. That said it’s still not that great of ship for all of the previously stated cons. I’ll give the occasion fan fiction or AMV a shot, but it’s all about context and how it’s presented.

Tai x Yolie (Taiyako)

Pros: She is the oldest of the 02 gang, and like Davis she only ever interacts with Tai in S2, so it’s a little less awkward to ship them than some. Also she’s really assertive and outgoing and not one to put up with bull from anybody; so she she can balance out Tai’s impulsiveness in theory. Likewise he can calm her down enough to think, if we’re talking post Tri.

Cons: They barely interact even in 02. They’re together in group scenes and there’s the potential they’ve interacted off screen, but there’s no ‘one on one’ screen time for them. Because of that, plus the small age gap between them, no one really ships these two. They’re the ultimate rare pair, and once again I hope the new movie will provide some genuine interaction between the 02 gang and the original group. Cause at the moment, dynamic wise, they’re kind of just a watered down Michi.

Personal Ranking (4/10) - Yeah I’d just sooner just read about Michi, but the rarity of them does pique my interest just a little bit. I’m now genuinely curious how they would play out post Tri.

Tai x Cody (Taiori)

Pros: Does anyone ship this? Ok, well in the interest of fairness, I did say the cut off was five years and that they had to interact at some point and they do fit the bill, so... Here I go. If you wanted to, you could do a post series route with these two. One is a lawyer for digimon rights and the other is an UN ambassador for the Digital World, so they would work together often. So there’s some grounds there for a childhood friends become co-workers to lovers plot. You can also pull a one sided school boy crush if you go for a pre-Tri route instead.

Cons: Like with Yolie, Tai only interacts with Cody in group settings during 02 and never one on one. There’s the potential that they hung out more off screen, but unlike Yolie, the age gap between them is wide enough that that seems improbable. Maybe, The Last Evolution will give us something more to go off with, just for their friendship sake if nothing else. After all these two will be working closely together someday according to the epilogue.

Personal Ranking (2/10) There’s just not enough there. I might be interested in that future based story I pitched, but even then it’s a stretch.

Tai x Ken (Kenchi)

Pros: Ken is unique in the fact that he’s a former villain, and in Tri it seemed as if he had reverted back to his old ways. This ultimately proved not to be the case, but since Tai is the main hero of Tri, you had the basis for a hero/villain ship for a while.

Cons: Like with all of the 02 cast, Tai doesn’t interact with Ken much. They appear in group scenes during 02 and that’s it. Even in Tri, it turns out that wasn’t the real Ken all along. Though his VA there is going to be his VA in final movie, which is cool I guess. There’s better ships with theses two, and if you want a villian/hero thing there’s more options for Ken. Plus there’s the awkward age gap, tho it’s no worse then than say Taisuke. Also Ken does have a canon partner in Yolie, if canon matters to you.

Personal Ranking (3/10) Not enough one on one scenes to get a feel for their dynamic imo.

Tai x Jun (Taijun)

Pros: What do you mean Jun isn’t a main character? Yeah, I don’t care. She should have been given a bigger role in 02, but that’s a rant for another time. The appeal of Taijun is a pairing of the spares essentially. He’s Sora’s ex, and she’s Matt’s ex. (well sort of) But that leaves you with a tantalizing ‘let's pretend hook up to make our exes jealous only to fall in love for real’ plot. There’s other routes you can go with obviously, but that one in particular makes the pairing more unique than other ships.

Cons: Obviously if you don't like Jun as a character, then your not going to like this ship. She’s pretty decisive within fandom.

Personal Ranking (7/10) - Yeah, I really, really like Jun y’all. Plus anything thing that sees her treated better than how Matt did in 02 is a win in my book.

Tai x Catherine ( Taicat )

Pros: It’s cannon that Tai has a crush on her and her openly flirts with her. He also has an amusing rivalry with TK for her affections. It’s harmless cute fluff and interferes with the love triangle

Cons: Catherine is a pretty bland character. She’s pretty and French and that’s all there is to remember of her.

Personal Ranking (3/10) I suppose there’s a certain appeal to having a semi-cannon ship that is so barely explored that you could do anything you wanted with it and it wouldn’t be out of character, but beyond that I can’t see anything else to recommend it.

Tai x Meiko (Meichi)

Pros: They have some cute moments together in Tri, though they are subtle. It does feel at times like the writers introduced her character as a means of resolving the Tai/Sora/Matt love triangle. Though they never follow through with that completely. In terms of the dynamics Meiko is a complete woobie. A ‘moe’ is what I believe to be the term in Japanese. Shy, quite, cute, and in need of protection. So you get plenty of instances of Tai being the big hero and saving her. Tai himself is also much more subdued in Tri and therefore less impulsive and reckless, so he’s very considerate of Meiko’s emotional needs, much than he would have been had they met earlier. In a way she just shows off how much he has grown as a character. So basically lots of hurt/comfort angst going on.

Cons: If you’re not a fan of Meiko, then you wouldn’t be a fan of this ship. She’s not as well developed as the rest of the cast due to only appearing in Tri, and she relies more heavily on her archetype to carry her interactions with the mains. So how much you’re predisposed to that archetype factors heavily in shipping her with anyone.

Personal Ranking (5/10) I’m lukewarm to Meiko as a character. Her interactions with Tai can be cute, but she just doesn’t grab my interests the same as Jun does.

Matt x Sora (Sorato)

I just realized that this very official screenshot from the fifth movie, has a poster advertising a band with the words ‘fucking night’ on it. This is suppose to be a kids show. Lol. Never change Japan.

Pros: The ship is about as close to canon as you can get. They’re confirmed dating in season two and it’s movie, and there are hints that they wound up together in the epilogue. Also there is a basis for the relationship given their interactions in the first season and Tri. They communicate well and trust each other. Sora comes to rely on Matt in ways she just doesn’t with Tai. He’s an outlet for her to let her guard down and share things, while she helps him come out of his shell sometimes.

Cons: The writing for them in 02 wasn’t good. They got together with zero build up and it came across as very forced. Since then, both in the fifth movie and in Tri, the writers have been pushing a subtle love triangle between them and Tai. Leaving things more open ended to appease the fans who were angry over how Taiora ended. Also, dynamic wise, they can be kind of boring on their own. Without Tai there, there’s no drama between them, and that can be a pro or a con depending on your tastes.

Personal Ranking (6/10) It’s not a bad ship, but the writing in 02 lets it down and, I still prefer Taiora over all.

Matt x Izzy (Yamashirou)

Pros: It’s the ‘cool dude’ who tries way to hard to be edgy being paired with the nerd who sees through his bullshit, but they’re both level headed enough to work together if need be, and they do indeed work together as a team quite well.

Cons: Izzy and Matt don't interact one on one often. Usually when they do, Izzy is sandwiched between Matt and Tai as they work on some problem or other. People who do even ship it, often just go all the way and make it an OT3 with Matt/Izzy/Tai.

Personal Ranking (5/10) There’s a basis for something there if you want to explore it, but both characters have better options.

Matt x Mimi (Mimato)

Pros: Well for one, it’s Mimi. She’s one of the few people who can get under Matt’s aloof exterior. It’s also a case of hyperactive girl paired with quite and closed off guy, if you like that dynamic.

Cons: It has all the same cons as Michi. Mimi is absent in 02, she and Matt usually interact within a group setting, and there’s more popular pairings out there for both of them. So if you ship either one with someone else, you may not be inclined to ship this.

Personal Ranking (7/10) I like Mimi, so I’ll always like this pairing to some degree, but it’s about the same level as Michi for me.

Matt x Joe (Jyouato)

Pros: If Izzy is Tai’s foil, than Joe is Matt’s foil. They get a lot of one on one scenes and come to depend on one another more so than then they do with most of the group. Plus it’s the geeky nerd paired with the cool kid. Joe isn’t confident but he holds a secret inner strength. While Matt appears calm on the surface but has a lot of issues underneath. So if you like ‘opposites attract’ then this could be for you.

Cons: It’s a comedy duo, just like with Tai and Izzy. Though they do have their more serious moments and deeper conversations. Also Joe is pretty decisive in fandom. If you’re not a fan of his you’ll probably want to ship Matt with someone else. Or you can make the argument that Matt is too mean to Joe at times, though he always apologizes for it and tries not do it again.

Personal Ranking (7/10) They’re two of my favorite characters in Digimon. While this isn’t my favorite ship for them, I’m all down for indulging myself every once in a while.

Matt x Kari (Yamakari)

Pros: The few people who ship this, do so because of the above scene where Matt has to protect her from Myotismon. Also if Taikeru exists, than it’s only fair if it’s counterpart does as well. You can do the same for this as you can do for that and either go a post season one ruote, or a one sided school girl crush.

Cons: Outside of that one previously mentioned interaction, Matt and Kari get very little one on one screen time. Especially in 02 and Tri, where the age gap wouldn’t matter anymore.

Personal Ranking (3/10) I rank this lower than Taikeru because there’s even less to go off of and I struggle to see how they’re supposed to work together.

Matt x Davis (Yamasuke)

Pros: Same as with Taisuke, Matt is something of a mentor figure who grows to be a friend. And if you disliked Taisuke cause you found Davis and Tai to be too similar, then Matt has that shifting dynamic but with a different personality.

Cons: It also has all the same cons as Taisuke tho. They don’t interact outside of 02, and there’s a bit of an age gap. So make of that what you will.

Personal Ranking (4/10) I do genuinely like Davis and I think he gets along well with most people, but this feels too much like a watered down Taito to really care about it.

Matt x Yolei (Yamayako)

Pros: Yolei does mention in 02, that she helps out Matt and his band sometimes with their audio equipment. Therefore we know for sure that they hang out together as friends even when not on screen. Dynamic wise, its a case of nerdy girl gets the cool guy.

Cons: Near zero on screen interaction save for group scenes in 02, a small age gap,(tho smaller than most 02/Adventure ships), and its similarities to Mimato, is enough to put people off the ship.

Personal Ranking (5/10) I like the ‘nerdy girl gets the cool guy’ trope, but beyond that there’s not much to them.

Matt x Cody (Imato)

Pros: In fairness this about as plausible/implausible as Taiori, I guess. If you like a post series story about two hot dads hooking up or something, then this might appeal to you. Who knows.

Cons: Unlike, Taiori, Cody and Matt don’t even have that coworker angle going for them. Matt’s a fucking astronaut! Which is stupid, but it is what it is. I can’t see any reason why they would wind up together outside of them being in the same social group. Cody is TK’s best friend, and he might hang out with Matt that way, but it’s a long shot. Also the age gap is right on the cut off, so that limits their relationship to only being post Tri.

Parsonal Ranking (1/10) I don’t know why anyone would ship this, and I honestly don't think anybody does. If someone out there does, I’ll give it a look out of sheer curiosity but that’s it.

Matt x Ken (Kenato)

Pros: It’s the two broody boys together. That’s it. They’re both sad and cute, with some anger issues that they’re both trying to work past. So on that point they can connect. So basically soft hurt/comfort fics galore. They also get a teamup episode in 02, so we see them interact one on one.

Cons: They’re a bit too similar dynamic wise. If you don't like both of your characters in a ship to be moody and angst ridden then this might not work for you. They also don’t interact much outside of their one team up episode, and like with Yamasuke there is an age gap.

Parsonal Ranking (4/10) Count me in the ‘too much broodiness for me’ camp.

Matt x Jun (Junato)

Pros: It’s Jun. Also she clearly likes Matt in 02, and he seemingly likes her back their first episode together. They free up Tai and Sora to be together. Oh and if you like the hyperactive optimistic girl with broody cool guy, then this has you cover. If you also a fan of the ‘assertive girl chases after her hopeless crush’ trope, like with Sonic/Amy, Kermit/Miss Piggy, or Bugs/Lola. This also covers that.

Cons: If you don’t like that trope, or dislike Jun altogether then this of course isn’t going to appeal to you. There’s also the added problem of Matt suddenly acting like a douche to her for no reason after their first episode together. It’s like the writers set them up, but then when ‘oh shit!’ when they decided to go with Sorato at the last minute and had to work to shut this pairing down. It’s dumb, and makes both of the characters look bad.

Personal Ranking (7/10) I like it more for what it could have been, rather than for what it became.

Matt x Meiko (Meimato)

Pros: I swear the Tri writers tried to throw in ship folder for Meiko with all of the OG cast. As if she was the potential solution to all of the love triangles in the show or something. Just like with Meichi, this ship is all about the hero protecting the woobie.

Cons: Once again, if you like this ship it’s going to come down to how much you like Meiko as a character and the archetype she represents.

Personal Ranking (5/10) Same score as Meichi for the same reasons.

What shows with good LGBT characters do you recommend?

I haven't watched a lot of them but here are some that I have watched and liked (in no particular order):

1. Sex Education: Okay, I know I said these weren't in order of preference but Sex Education does have the top spot in my heart. EVERYONE needs to watch this show. There is gay, bi, pan, and even asexual, queer, NB representation, and not the stereotypical queer characters you find in every movie and show. There are queer POC. They address several issues including the shame attached to masturbating and in general being in touch with your sexual side, harrassment, single mom guilt and issues, adoptive parent guilt and issue. I LOVE AND ADORE THIS SHOW.

2. One Day at a Time: It's not the most perfect show, but it has some really perfect moments. I think every queer person for at least a brief period of time has been or wants to be Elena. She's a bit over the top, but you gotta love that energy (does get a bit annoying at times, NGL)

3. Shameless: watched it a looong time ago, but it's pretty good. (I can't really talk about it a lot because honestly I don't remember much)

4. Orange is the New Black: only adding this because everyone I know really likes it. I like the show, but I did not particularly anjoy the LGBT representation. Except for Poussey, and Nicky. Those two have my heart.

5. The 100: I watched this show because I love dystopian shit, and well what can I say team CLEXA for life. Clarke is great and all, but it's Lexa and Lincoln (not queer, but still) will forever have my heart.

6. Degrassi: Next Class: Most of the people in this show are pretty fucked up but then so are most people in real life. I like it because it really shows the growth of some characters from being ignorant teenagers to wanting to learn and be more aware for their friends or for someone they hurt. The motives aren't always positive, but hey whatever gets the point across, right? You will really despise some of the characters though. At least I did.

7. The L Word: Again, only including this because it's apparantly THE LESBIAN show. I watched the first 2 seasons. I only like the first one, which is precisely why I stopped after season 2.

8. Atypical: I FREAKING LOVE THIS SHOW. Casey and Izzie legit give me life. I could talk about how amazing this one is for hours but I'm not going to, y'all just need to go and watch this if you haven't already.

9. Grey's Anatomy: I know some people love it, some hate it and everyone is cheating on everyone but there are some great LGBT arcs, especially in the latest season.

10. Trinkets: super cute, it's on Netflix, there is just one season. Very underrated. Go binge watch it!

11. Brooklyn Nine Nine: I mean is there anything even slightly off-putting about this one? No, the only acceptable answer is no, there isn't. It's freaking perfect. Also, 12. The Good Place: if you haven't watched it and don't know the plot, please don't Google it, just start watching it.

13. Easy: It's sort of an anthology series, but it also isn't. The episodes are all stand alone episodes but the characters are recurring. Jo and Chase's arc is what you're looking for.

14. Shortland Street: found this one on Tumblr. Someone suggested it because it was an ace character. The ace arc is there on YouTube and that's all I have watched. But it's worth a try.

Ok let’s talk about your ultimate top 10 malec scenes 🥰

Oof this is a hard question. These are in no particular order lol.

1. Alec ending up on Magnus’ fire escape after he’d been possessed and killed Jocelyn. This moment is so underrated, in my opinion. He and Magnus hadn’t been on a date yet, they were barely anything to each other, but Alec went to him when he was distressed. He didn’t go inside or seek out Magnus, but he wanted to be at the loft, be near Magnus. And the short conversation they have, shows how much they already see of each other, and how similar they actually are underneath it all.

2. The 2x06 kiss + relationships take effort, I’m all for effort. I think this is a pretty common one haha. Their first kiss just for themselves. The way Alec hesitates a second before leaning down and how Magnus’ eyes stay closed a moment longer when they pull away. This is the moment they really choose each other and decide to fight for this, and in my opinion the real start of their beautiful love story.

3. The drinks scene in 1x06. I ADORE this scene. It’s what made me fall in love with Malec. Magnus is quietly flirting here, and Alec looks so completely confused by it, but he LIKES it. And he smiles and STAYS and it’s the moment Magnus sees him as more than just a pretty face. It’s just perfect.

4. The fatty tuna + omamori scene. I always go back to rewatch this one when I need a pick me up. It shows how comfortable they’ve gotten with each other and Alec getting Magnus a present to keep him safe is just the most Alec thing in the world. Plus Magnus’ small “for me?” will never not get me.

5. The first time scene. I’ve said this before, but I genuinely believe this scene is one of the best first time scenes I’ve seen on TV. It’s just so joyful, which is not shown enough on TV. They’re legit giggling into each other’s mouths and stumbling around like idiots and I ADORE it. Plus we basically get to see the moment Magnus realizes he’s in love with Alec.

6. The I love you in 2x10, but more specifically, the hug where Alec fucking buries his whole face into Magnus’ shoulder and looks like he’s two seconds away from crying in relief.

7. Malec breaking into Lorenzo’s mansion. This gives me the boyfriends who are also best friends who make fun of each other all the time vibes and it just makes me smile. This whole episode makes me smile tbh.

8. Alec talking to an unconscious Magnus in 3x16 because I love the pain. Alec sounds so young and lost here and fucking hell I just love me a good holding your hand at your bedside praying you’re gonna be okay scene.

9. The proposal (or wedding. I personally think they got married here) that occurred while the world was burning around them. I love mid battle declarations so a mid battle PROPOSAL had me dead. Alec in tears before Magnus has even finished his sentence, exchanging rings, Alec breathing I love you so fucking genuinely, Magnus trying to make Alec smile so that it can be the last thing he sees. ALEC FALLING TO HIS KNEES AND IZZY, JACE, AND CLARY COMING UP BEHIND HIM AS THEY WATCH MAGNUS SAVE THEM ALL (this is my favorite scene in the show, okay?)

10. The Edom reunion hug. I’m a sucker for hugs and Magnus fucking throws himself into Alec’s arms here and they don’t stop touching each other until Clary walks in several moments later. The way Magnus looks like he can’t believe Alec is real and how Alec says he won’t leave him without hesitation, with so much certainty. I may have died.

I could talk about these scenes for ages and I probably missed some good ones but for the time being this is my list. If anyone wants to send me theirs, I’d love to see what y’all think.

I love Stevie, they’d be nowhere without him, but its factual– he could not pull off the speed drumming that was required for the Illusions albums, and those are my favorite albums of all time. So. Sorry, Stevie.

But if you’re more specific and you ask me which of the trilogy I prefer, it’s Estranged.

8. Which GNR band member do you think you could get along with the best?

Realistically? Probably Duff. Maybe even Izzy, since he seems to suffer from severe introvertism. I don’t think Axl and I wouldn’t get along, I would just hate for it to be a bad day for both of us and us to end up going head-to-head, because I could see it happening.

10. Which GNR member do you think is the most underrated?

I mean, technically it’ll always be Stevie, no matter what, because of everything. But I kind of have to say Duff, again. All he cared about when it came to the Hall of Fame induction was the fans– I’d even say it’s why he agreed to reunite. (I know he was ready to before Axl was prepared to make up with Slash, anyway.) He’s such an honest, genuine dude, and frankly if it’d just been Axl and Slash reuniting, I wouldn’t have cared as much. Duff McKagan is the glue, my friends.

11. Which GNR song do you think is the most underrated?

COMA. Lmao, I mean yes to that, but literally any of them that aren’t WTTJ, SCOM, Paradise City, November Rain, or their fucking cover of Bob Dylan or Paul McCartney. Like. Two covers they’re known for. Go listen to the Illusion albums. Start with the red/orange album, then move onto the blue/purple one. Oh, and skip the last track on the blue/purple. You’re welcome.

12. Which song needs a movie made based about it?

Literally just go watch the trilogy music videos, its practically a movie already.

13. Whose hair would you most want to have?

Axl’s early nineties hair.

14. Rocket Queen live or the original?

Live. I love the original, too, but when they improvise between the bridge and the coda? When they do It Tastes Good, Don’t It? Amazing. Incredible. Showstopping.

Estranged. Everyone said it was a bad idea for Axl to show his house in that music video, but I thought it was really cool. Swimming with the dolphins, ignoring Gilby and Duff trying to save him– love it.

What was your first ship, what ship do you hate most, and please rant about the Doctor Who ship of your choice!

what was your first ship, and what fandom is it from?

I’m pretty sure it was Han/Leia. My parents showed me Star Wars when I was quite young (I wanna say like, 7 or 8?) and I remember briefly having some nightmares about Darth Vader, but I got over it pretty quick, then watching the old trilogy fairly obsessively. I started writing my own novelizations of the movies, got extremely obsessed with Return of the Jedi, and Han and Leia’s various romantic moments.

I don’t think I consciously “shipped” anything until I read Order of the Phoenix when it came out, and I decided Neville and Luna would be really great together - then shortly discovered fanfiction, Fiction Alley, and allll the HP ships I could possibly think of and more. XD

what ship do you hate most?

DISCLAIMER: shippers gonna ship, and I mean zero offense to anyone who enjoys ships I do not. Please skip if you ship because I have Feelings.

I have a very specific, long term hatred of Alex/Izzie from Grey’s Anatomy, and a big part of it honestly comes out of the fandom I was involved in at the time I was obsessed with Grey’s (circa season 4-5 airing). But I just reallllly have a lot of problems with the “romance” that was written for them in those seasons. And more so, the fact that Alex was consistently a horrible human but also consistently forgiven automatically by the fandom at large (and seemingly the writers) simply because Alex had a tough childhood/tragic past. News flash: having a horrible childhood does not excuse you for being a horrible person, and several of the characters had rough lives yet were either not horrible or not excused for their horrible moments, as Alex very, very often was.

I can understand why he is the way he is, but I cannot and will not excuse it, nor get behind him marrying a dying girl because he has the hots for her again (probably definitely because of his own personal issues and coming off a relationship where his previous girl went crazy and tried to commit suicide, because you know, LET’S MAKE IT AS TRAGIC AS POSSIBLE SO WE FEEL BAD or something). I cannot and will not get behind him then yelling at his current new wife all the time because she’s struggling with CANCER, and claiming she basically trapped him into marriage. And this isn’t even getting into him cheating on her when they first dated, nor her treating him poorly and pretty much using him when they went for it a second time, nor him ignoring her very obvious and very problematic symptoms that ultimately revealed her cancer, even though they were technically dating. Like it wasn’t a problem she was clearly acting crazy and claiming to be having sex with a ghost?! Like, that’s not a concern!?

Anyways, they wrote her horrifically by that point anyways, they killed the character I loved the most, everything was an over dramatic soap opera, and I had to quit watching for my mental health. XD

rant about [pairing]

I had to think about this for a bit, because I couldn’t really think of any pairing I passionately dislike enough to rant about. But: I super don’t get shipping Twelve and Clara. Or Twelve and anyone except River and maybe Missy, only because with Peter Capaldi’s age, it feels really squicky to me to ship him with anyone else. I realize that the Doctor is like 900 or 1200 years old, so really, shipping him with anyone is technically an incredible age gap. XD But even so, I just really don’t feel like they had that kind of chemistry, at all. Which is great and fine! Twelve didn’t have “that kind” of chemistry with Bill either, and they were an awesome pair. (I feel like Twelve and Clara’s episodes suffered in the writing department on the whole, which is no fault to them, and also an entirely different semi-rant. XD) I just cannot picture Twelve and Clara at all romantically, nor do I want to. XD

My other semi-rant is that I think a lot of people don’t have enough feels about Nine/Rose on the whole. Understandable when we had content like Doomsday and her ending up with TenTwo, to think of her as one unit/pair with Ten. But like her Nine tho! TALK ABOUT CHEMISTRY?! The entire Empty Child/Doctor Dances episodes are brimming with it, as well as of course the Bad Wolf finale. But like, consider that Nine came out of the War Doctor - he is fresh off the destruction of his entire race at that point. He is, in many ways, quite broken, but then this bubbly little shop girl shows up and I think the reason why Nine became Ten is because of him falling deeply in love with Rose. So ya, Nine/Rose is super, duper underrated!!

The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical Tour Review

This past Saturday I had the privilege of seeing the national tour of The Lighting Thief musical at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas. From the set design to the actors to the engagement with the audience, I would certainly suggest seeing this musical if you have the chance. Now, for my experience seeing the musical.

The set design for the musical was phenomenal; the low-budget, thown-together stage production look they were going for worked. Some of the set pieces even got a few laughs from the audience with how awkward they appeared. Instead of this appearing lazy, this design looked as if Percy Jackson himself were telling his story on a stage, which is how the original book is narrated. The stage appeared charming throughout and while I took a picture of the stage beforehand, I kind of regret not getting a picture during intermission as well. The rafters on the sides held the band up, which helped to maintain the overall creative design put forward in this production.

At the Winspear, there is a giant chandelier (shown above) that is risen up into the ceiling before the start of a show. Before the show, it was blinking blue and white the the sounds of creepy birds and wind; I have been to several shows and the Winspear and I have never seen them change the lights on the chandelier to fit a show. Also, when the chandelier was raised, it depicted the shape of a lightning bolt (the logo) in blue and yellow, and later on in the show when Percy was claimed by his godly parent, they showed the shape of his parent’s symbol in blue and white. This was very creative and I thought it gave a nice touch to the production as a whole. However, I do wonder how they do it at other theatres. If you have seen this show somewhere else, feel free to message me about how they did it there.

Chris McCarrell’s performance was amazing and I would definitely go see this musical again just to see his comical execution at Percy again. From his over-the-top reaction to Smelly Gabe to his smart aleck comments about the gods, McCarrell certainly portrayed a 12-year-old Percy Jackson. One of the most memorable moment was during the opening song when he slide out onto the stage into a “Draw me like one of your French girls”-type pose. It was really a great moment for the audience and really amusing overall.

While I did particularly love George Salazar’s original performance as Grover/Mr.D, I am kind of biased toward Texas State graduates. Jorrel Javier is a great replacement for Salazar and did an amazing job at making the character(s) his own. Sadly, however, Javier left during the intermission and Izzy Figueroa had to fill in for him. Figueroa kept up the amp of the characters for the audience and did a great job at helping the show go on. Overall, all three actors do a great job at portraying the characters; the casting for this musical is great all the way through.

While McCarrell and Javier are certainly showstoppers when it comes to this production, the surprising talent comes from Ryan Knowles’ performance as Hades. I was certainly thrown off-guard when Knowles absolutely stole the show in a single scene. His over-the-top portrayal of an often looked-over god was hysterical, and I kind of wish more people were talking about it. His performance is definitely underrated.

The musical as a whole did a great job at engaging with an audience that has either been reading Rick Riordan’s books for years or may have never heard of Percy Jackson at all. With a plethora of adult humor mixed with the middle grade level jokes the Percy Jackson series is known for, this musical is definitely for all ages. I saw a mixture of families with young kids, teenagers, and elderly seeing this musical, and all walked out with a smile on their faces.

My only complaint about this musical (which is very minor, mind you) is the choreography could have been done a lot better. It was all kind of awkward and I really wish it were a bit bigger, yet simpler to fit with the musical. Otherwise, every bit and piece creative-wise was perfect.

If you have the chance to, I would certainly suggest seeing this musical. Tickets are fairly cheap and last until July, which isn’t much more time. Here’s the website to check it out: X.

Then I looked again and I remembered the places where I had the greatest memories and met the greatest people. Despite the extensive amount of bad in the world these places still shown through. It made me love these memories twice as more.
