When love finds you again, I wish for you that is kind, gentle, loving, peaceful and tranquil. May it make you smile again, laugh often, dance like no one’s watching, and support your true self without condition.

Anyway happy Pride Month to my favorite type of character which I call "might be asexual, aromantic, gay, or a combination thereoff, but it doesn't really matter, because it is very clear that he does NOT like women and his life partner is a man, so clearly One Of Us."

big fan of characters who understand each other so well that they are able to use each other’s weaknesses against each other. characters who have been inseparable for so long (whether they like it or not) that they’ve witnessed each other’s crest and fall and studied each other’s dispositions like specimens beneath glass. as a result they’ve crawled into the cracks in each other’s skin & mapped out the soft underbelly hidden beneath all that confidence and pride. so now they’re calling out the other person’s most shameful flaws, sniping at the most sensitive bits of scar tissue they try so desperately to hide, digging out their most humiliating memories or those filled with grief.
if you’re lovers or close friends, then you’re forced to realize that yes, to be loved is to be known, but to be known is also to flay yourself open. you cannot declare yourself above the risk of having someone take advantage of your wounds & you cannot transcend the vulnerability that comes as love’s collateral damage
if you’re enemies… then all i can say is that the sweet respite of enduring coexistence for so long is that you know precisely how to take each other apart. you know how to play the other like putty beneath your fingertips by tugging at their pain points, and that in itself is a glorious thing—but equally so, the knowledge that they can enact the exact same thing on you is inordinately terrifying

Ok so while yes the loumand d/s dynamic is overall not healthy for Louis, and yeah the Louis womanposting is for the most part funny or legitimately thematically interesting but.... I've been seeing takes lately that are basically saying that Louis misses being or ideally wants to be a 'housewife' in a relationship and like ???? it was a pretty significant part of s1 that he did not enjoy being boxed into that role by Lestat and he used that term to describe himself only when he was in the depths of depression. Some of the happiest moments early in the Loustat relationship were when he was succeeding in his career and being perceived as masculine/powerful by the men around him while also being romanced and spoiled by Lestat at home. She's a girlboss who wants to have the career, kid (singular), and hot trophy husband who fucks her like crazy is that too much to ask?

I just want to gently remind people that if Herlock Sholmes WAS pretending to get all of his deductions wrong to train Ryunosuke, you have to accept the fact that he was willing to let 5 people get blown up by an active bomb so he could have someone tell him it's not an anti-gravity device.

I wish men actually liked women... a lot of them say that they do but they don't realize that they're usually just talking about our bodies.. or how we can serve them.. I want men to look at women and say wow, they're so smart and have so many cool intrests and I love it when a girl is super talented or talks a lot about her passions I want men to want to learn from us and look at our souls instead all I ever see is how much they love our bodies. I don't actually hate men, I think lots of men are great, but I'm always hit with the painful reminder sooner or later that even though they SAY they like women, I know what they mean. They may not realize it, but from mine, and a lot of girls perspectives, it's obvious. And it hurts. It sucks.

it's actually kind of hard to make a single concrete statement abt wwx's character beaides the very basic stuff like 'he loves his siblings' and oh fuck I've already run into issues. his relationship with at least one of his siblings is COMPLICATED. anyway he contains multitudes and if you delve into his perspective you'll probably have to come to terms with it and YES it's nuance it's NOT inconsistent writing due to changes from the source material it's NOT
