Raj(pushes Shubman): Stay away from him for now.

Shubman: Bhaiya?

Raj: I said stay away.

Shubman: but why? Did I do something wrong?

Raj: Shubman..listen..

Shubman(interrupts): I get it, you don't accept us. Don't you? Bhaiya I..

Raj(interrupts): SHUT UP..I am speaking you know. Its not that I don't support you both. I have always supported my Ishan's happiness. And you are his happiness I get it. If I wouldn't have accepted you, then why would I go around liking those romantic reels.

Shubman: Then? Why are you doing this.

Raj: You really don't listen. Do you?

Shubman: go on

Raj: First of all, don't show that attitude and second of all, I want you to answer my questions.

Shubman: Can we do this later. I want to meet him rn. Bhaiya I promise I will be up for this interrogation any other time.

Raj: I might look calm but I can punch you in the face, drag you to somewhere secluded and get answers in my way.

Shubman(shocked): Are you into mafia or something?

Raj: I am a surgeon, so I very well know how to use my knives.

Raj: Are you going to answer my questions or not. Or you are banned from Ishu's life and I mean it.

Raj: Then what is this 'Sara' mess?

Shubman: What mess?

Raj: The whole caption drama on 14th Feb? You meet him on 13th and then suddenly on 14th this happens? Who are u fooling?

Shubman: Bhaiya, my social media is not controlled by me. My sister controls it along with a whole managing team.

Raj: Shubman, I am telling you I never poke my nose in Ishan's matter. But if he gets hurt because of your team or your sister. I am telling you I will enter this war too. And you wouldn't like that?

Shubman: chill bhaiya..it's nothing. Ishan understands that.

Raj: And I understand him. He might not show it but he does get affected by all this drama.

Elsie sees to him last, at his insistence. Rajan has never been overly fond of doctors (with one notable exception), and whatever she had done in the tunnels below Greyslate has kept him from death's door for now.

"I'll be back," she says, once he's settled on the sofa, assurance and threat in one. He won't be weaseling his way out of this one.

He regards the crumbling ruin of his torso and thinks that is probably for the best.

Rajan settles in to wait for Elsie to return, knowing it may take a while, given the extent of Cosmo's injuries alone. He closes his eyes, tilts his head back, relaxes into the cushions of the sofa, and...does not sleep. It is not the pain in his chest that keeps him awake, rather the yawning ache of emptiness. Stillness and quiet where there is usually a low drone of activity.

It reminds him far too much of their his house that sits abandoned in Briar Green. The only difference being that he knows the swarm will eventually return.

Soft footsteps draw him out of thoughts that are spiraling into maudlin. "Raj?"

He cracks an eye open, takes a moment to focus through the kaleidoscoping fractals. Elsie stands in the doorway, her black bag in one hand, still covered in dirt and blood, her hair falling from its pins. Beautiful.

"Elsie." He gives her a half smile, sitting up straighter, wincing as the movement pulls, close to tearing.

She brings a stool over to sit in front of him, sets her bag on the sofa beside him. "How are you feeling?" she asks, tracing cool fingers over the scars above his eye. He leans into the touch for just a moment.

"I've been worse," he tells her. That gets him a raised eyebrow and an annoyed twist of her lips.

"Right, of course." He can see the muscle working in her jaw as she turns away from him. Her hands clench and unclench in her lap. "You promised that you wouldn't make this difficult."

He hadn't really, not in so many words, and certainly not with any degree of sincerity at the time. But he knows when to swallow his pride, and so he takes one of her hands in his, strokes his thumb gently over her knuckles, his touch lingering on the indent where a ring used to sit.

"What do you need from me, darling?"

Elsie turns back to him with a sigh, pulling her hand back. She steels herself before pulling open the tattered remains of his shirt and jacket, exposing the gaping wound on his chest.

"Tell me how I can help you," she pleads. "How do I-" Her hands flutter nervously for a second. "Is there anything I can do to fix...this?"

Whatever Rajan may have been expecting, nothing could have possibly prepared him for Elsie reaching her hand into his chest and stroking along the torn edges of the hive. All of the breath leaves his lungs on a gasp, and something hot races down his spine. He meets Elsie's wide eyes, and realizes belatedly that his hand is clamped, vice-like, around her wrist.

"I'll take that as a 'no'," she says breathlessly, withdrawing her hand.

"The swarm will return," he says after a moment, his extremities still tingling, "and they will take care of...internal repairs." And expansion, but she needn't worry about that. "The most you can do for me is close the wound."

"Okay." She nods, reaching for her bag, all business. "Lie back."

She works in silence for several minutes, cleaning the edges of torn skin, numbing the area as best she can, and starting to stitch him up. The sensation is uncomfortable, but never painful. He allows himself to relax into it; her hands delicate and precise, her gaze intent.

"I-I didn't realize-" She starts and stops tentatively. "How long has this been a part of you?"

He doesn't answer right away. "Since the night I lost my sister."

"Raj," she breathes. He has to look away from the pity in her eyes. "Why did you never tell me?"

He hums. "I suspect for the same reason you never told me about your illness," he says. She freezes, and he reaches up to tuck an errant curl behind her ear. "It was my burden to bear, Little Bird."

She is nearly finished before she speaks again, working on the last few stitches. "I never wanted to hurt you, Raj," she whispers, loose strands of her hair tickling his bare chest.

"Nor I, you," he says. "And, yet, here we are."

"Where do we go from here?" she asks, once he is stitched and bandaged, his shirt mostly back in place.

Rajan sighs. "To sleep, Elsie."

"Be serious."

"I am," he insists. "It's been a long day, we're both exhausted. Anything else can be left for the morning."

He watches her shoulders slump, the stubborn set of her jaw relax. "Fine." She finds a blanket for him and turns off the lamps. Then he watches as she frees the rest of her hair from the pins, removes her shoes, and curls up like a cat on the opposite side of the sofa.

"What are you doing?" he asks, incredulous.

Elsie huffs. "All of the guest rooms are occupied," she says, adding in a softer voice, "and I don't have the energy to climb the stairs to my room tonight."

He hums, can feel sleep finally coming to claim him. "Sleep well, Elsie," he murmurs, running his thumb over her ankle; once, twice. "May your dreams be free from shadows."

She pokes him in the hip with her toe. "And may the morning come swiftly."

Rajan wakes just a few hours later, as the sky is starting to lighten in the pre-dawn. There is a warm weight pressed against his side, and he finds that he and Elsie have migrated towards each other in the night. Her head is on his shoulder, her arm flung across his waist, and he barely has to move his head to be able to smell the traces of jasmine and honey on her skin.

She mumbles something unintelligible and snuggles closer. He inhales deep, catching the underlying scent of petrichor and bleed, closes his eyes again, allowing them both a moment of comfort before they have to face a new day and whatever lies ahead.

When I created this blog, I was in my "Jeantonio era", Jeantonio hyperfixation, if you were a CS fan in late 2022 most likely I was in your screen yapping about them and what not. Literally that was all my blog was good for, for that reason alone.

Yea, no more of that. I'm guessing the light switch turned off. I don't know what happened genuinely speaking they just aren't like..you can say I've gotten mature, when I look back at my posts I want to cry, bawl and curl up into a ball fetus position by the pure cringe of it. I don't know.

Not all only Jeantonio, it's just CS in general, sure I'm in a discord server (hi @tiredguyswag) about La Femme Rouge but I really just don't feel the same way about the show I used to. Blame it on personal life I guess.

now that I say that all I say on discord is how I stopped having a Jeantonio hyperfixation 🙃

I made an au! Alr? Here:

Arjuni was the youngest princess of Hastinapur. She was the loveliest, yet the quietest. She had many names, which she obtained through hard work and talents.

Arjuni was loved by everyone, except for her own mother, the Raaj Maata of Hastinapur and Gandhar Raj. Kunti never loved her daughter, always looking down upon her and abusing her. Kunti blamed Arjuni for anything and everything, be it her fault or not. In her eyes, her daughter was the biggest mistake she ever made.

Arjuni was the age of sixteen now. She was the youngest to go to Dronacharya's hermitage to learn. Her other younger cousins and her two younger brothers were receiving training in the palace itself. The Kauravas, the so called enemies of the Pandavas, never hated on her. They always brought her flowers, toys, clothes, jewelleries and trinkets whenever she was present in the palace Arjuni was Duryodhan's favourite, always carrying his little sister on his back whenever he could and would run through the whole palace, enjoying her squeals of joy.

Believe it or not, her life was never the easiest till her mid-teens. In fact, it was the hardest. The Tritiyaa Pandava always had scars and bruises on her body due to her mother. And the Kauravas didn't like the Pandavas only because they were not able to protect their own sister.

As for Gandhar Raj, he never liked the Rajkumari as she was the bridge linking the Kauravas and Pandavas, becoming nothing but the sharpest thorn in his way. He had went as far to poison the girl's food and always faulting with the chandeliers and many other 'accidents' who knows how many times. He didn't know that the girl was immune to poison, so when his plan didn't work he added more poisonous content the next time.

But he was discovered later by Bheem and Duryodhan, who were finally getting along. The two boys were walking together and talking about maces and food when thev discovered Shakuni walking suspiciously with a vile in his hand, partially visible under his robes.

Duryodhan, suspicious of his maternal uncle, whispered to Bheem to follow Shakuni quietly, and when they did, they saw him putting the contents of the vile, a sickly poisonous green in colour, into Arjuni's food. They both, horrified at Gandhar Raj's intentions, entered the room quietly, and Bheem grabbed his arms behind his back. The deceitful gambler was startled. He eldest nephew walked in front of him with the scariest glare he had ever seen.

"I-it is not what it looks it, mere bachche!"

Shakuni tried to free himself but he was shorter and weaker than the VayuPutra so it was of no use. "Oh, I know perfectly, Mamashree. Bhrata Bheem, drag him to the Sabha!" Bheem nodded and nearly broke Shakuni's arms as he dragged that worthless piece of flesh and bones into the Sabha and threw him in front of everyone.

Gasps were heard. Shakuni tried to say something but Duryodhan shouted first. "Pitamah! Pitashree! Gandhar Raj here tried to poison Arjuni's food! Both me and Bhrata Bheem were eye witnesses!"

"T-that is not true, Maharaj!" Shakuni protested.

"It IS true, Pitamah! And if both me and Duryodhan, who were previously enemies, say something of the same incident, we definitely could not have planned it beforehand. I even have the vile, and this seems like poison from Gandhar."

Gandhari was called down from the balcony to inspect the said vile, and Shakuni tensed. The Maharani gasped. "It is...a poison from Gandhar..." She could not believe her brother. How could he!?

Shakuni tried ask help from his sister but she denied, and instead said. "I am disappointed to have you as my brother! How could you? What has that young girl ever done to you! Go rot in hell! It was you who faulted with the chandeliers and everything in her room, weren't you?"

Shakuni said nothing but looked down, giving the answer unintentionally.

All the Pandava and Kaurava brothers would have pounced on that lying piece of shit right then and there had it not for being Arjuni. She had to literally hold them back.

With Bheeshma's orders, Arjuni stayed behind his figure as the cousins tortured Shakuni to death, at last Duryodhan beheading him. And guess what, Kunti blamed Arjuni for his death for who knows what reason, when the one at fault was Shakuni himself.

Finally, one day, she had had enough with the abuse. As Kunti was shouting and screaming as usual, she said something which shocked everyone. "I hope you die or leave from here and never come back!" Dhritarashtra tried to say something in defense of his niece, but Arjuni had only smiled sadly. "Well, your wish is going to become true today, Mother. I do hope you all have a very good life ahead." Dronacharya's best student could have argued or gone against her mother's abuse but she left...she left with only a sad smile....

The Kauravas started to hate their aunt because of her incompetence and her being. The Pandavas also didn't talk much with her, as they lost their beloved person...again.

The palace was less lively, as if all of the life had been sucked out of the Kuruvansh. Everything became gloomy.

But meanwhile, Arjuni was living calmly in a beautiful hut she had built on her own, pleased finally that she wouldn't have to live in argumentative environments for now. She lived happily here, with simple lehengas or sarees, jewelleries and anklets, dhotis and cholis, the plants and trees, the rivers and waterfalls, and the birds and animals, which seemed to love her a lot. She lived in a lovely, and the calmest part of the Khandavavan. Though she still practiced her fighting skills and archery, Arjuni would dance and roam in the forest collecting flowers. That was practically her routine as she had nothing to do.

Arjuni was not alone. She had taken her horse Vikram with her here. They were best friends, and were always together, be it the peaceful times or the times of battles and wars.

One day, when Gudhakeshaa was collecting water at night, she heard flute sounds, and felt a pull along with those melodious tunes. She held her pot beside her waist and let the imaginary pull take her to somewhere she didn't know. As Arjuni continued following the magnetic force, she saw a boy, maybe a year older than her, sitting on a tree, a golden flute in his beautiful hands and adorned near his pink lips, yellow robes and a peacock feather adorned in his shoulder-length curls. He was dusky complexioned, just like her.

I personally love headcanoning the idea that Leonard actually does have a relationship with his nephews.

I mean, I would’ve loved it if we had gotten to learn more or been introduced to Leonard siblings and maybe see that they themselves certainly dealt with their own hurdles with having Beverly as a mom. There’s no way anyone can convince me that she didn’t do damage to all 3 of her kids and I’m sure Leonard’s big sister (I hc her name is Katherine) and their little brother Michael both had their own unhealthy relationships with their “Scientist Always, Mother Never” parent.

We know from what Leonard has said that his little brother was a bit of a dick to him so maybe any reconnect between the two would take longer, but Leonard doesn’t say anything negative about his big sister so what if they actually reconnected and started to mend that bridge? Getting closure now that they’re both adults - I think I remember his big sister is supposed to be like six or seven years older than him?

So picture this: It’s pre-Penny moving into the building, Leonard has been Sheldon’s established roommate for a while, and maybe he gets a surprised call from Katherine - she’s shocked too at having made the call - cuz she’s gonna be in the LA area for a medical conference thing and she’s been battling with herself to get in touch with Leonard to catch up… Cue them meeting up, some initial awkwardness thanks to being estranged siblings, but eventually they put the cards on the table and fuss up about their fucked up childhoods - maybe Katherine having felt guilt for not protecting her brothers from their mom but she was a kid too - and things start to mend between the two of them.

Things move along with the continued mending of their relationship with emails and phone calls - Leonard gets to know his brother-in-law better and gets to spend more time with his nephews outside of just occasional family holidays. It’s a little slice of healing pie in the Hofstadter books.

Penny eventually moves in and gets to see a normally shy Leonard - imagine this happening early on in the show when they are still getting to know each other - act loud and silly with his little nephews when his sister drops them off to visit while she and her hubby have work stuff and they know the boys would be bored to tears at these events. I know that apparently Leonard sister ends up having five boys in total but maybe at the start it was just 3 under the age of 11.

Sheldon barely tolerates these visits despite the boys being very polite and not leaving messes, but Raj and Howard have a blast monkeying around with them.

I guess I just want Leonard to have a little bit of happiness when it comes to his family and I would like to think that if he did get a chance to interact with his nephews and niece (apparently Michael has a baby girl with his wife) that he would follow his Uncle Floyd’s influence and maybe be an even better uncle. I just doubt that either one of his siblings would put their kids through the same shit they went through so they definitely wouldn’t follow Beverly’s parenting styles.

Krishna is still on the side of Pandavas

"Arju." Yudhishthir called out to his sister. "Can you get the two scrolls about our formations from my tent?"

"Of course, Jyesht." Said Arjunaa, and she walked out of the common tent.

When Arjunaa got there, she found the scrolls of their formations on the table...but there was another scroll with the...seal of the KURUS!? Arjunaa tensed and rushed towards the common tent, with all the scrolls.

She barged in loudly. "JYESHT! WHY DO YOU HAVE A SCROLL OF THE KURUS?" She exclaimed while holding up the Kuru scroll in her left hand. Everyone either gasped or looked in confusion. Yudhishthir got up from his seat and took the Kuru scroll. "I..i don't know about this. I swear i only had our two scrolls in my tent!" Yudhishthir answered.

The others now HAD to believe Dharmaraj because, he had never lied in his entire lifetime.

A few of the others crowded around to see. Krishna stuck his tongue in his cheek. He glanced at Arjunaa, who was still standing at the entrance. Their eyes met. Krishna swallowed. He knew what this meant, and what would happen now.

"Oh ho! I see you have gotten winds of our plans already.." Arjunaa felt creeped as she heard a voice behind her and she turned around and jumped backwards, unsheathing her dagger in reflex. Everyone stared in shock, except Krishna, who narrowed his eyes at the short, disgusting man.

Shakuni strode into the room. "How marvellous, Samrat." He addressed Yudhishthir. "We were looking for the scroll on which we had mapped out our upcoming military plans." He snatched it out of Virat’s hand, nearly giving the king a paper cut. "I'll have that, thank you."

"Gandhar Raj, what were your papers doing in my tent?" said Yudhishthir, bewildered.

Shakuni clutched his chest in faux-shock. "I should be asking you that! First you steal from us and then question us back?"

"We did no such thing!" snapped Dhrishtadyumna. "Rajkumari Arjunaa went to get our plans from the Samrat's room and found this kept there!"

Shakuni cackled. "What a believable story, General! Please do better!"

Virat came over. "Listen, Gandhar Raj. You have my word for it, we truly have not stolen anything from your camp. Stealing from the enemy camp is adharma and we could and we would never do that."

"Oh, I know it's adharma all too well." he snapped, stroking his beard and eyeing Virat in a rather maddening way. Arjunaa looked from him to Krishna to Yudhishthir and back to him. What even was happening?

"Samrat Yudhishthir never lies or cheats!" continued Virat. "You have his word as well!"

"Aah! Yes! The same man who accused me of attempted murder on them, especially his sister, and betted on and got his said sister disrobed...!" Shakuni grinned like a maniac. Loud gasps were heard. Arjunaa boiled in anger and clenched her fists, while Draupadi held her shoulders as if saying to calm down.

"Don't dare mention dharma when you have the aid of this man." He pointed at Krishna, who was still looking at him strangely. "People accuse me of cheating but if there is a more treacherous person than I...it is him!"

"We are telling you we!-" Krishna interrupted. "Tell me, Gandhar Raj. Where did you last see your plan scroll?"

Shakuni hesitated. "Well…I remember seeing it yesterday evening in my room. We were busy with war and cremating our warriors, hence didn’t pay our documents any mind. A few hours ago, when I went to retrieve it, it was gone!"

“Interesting." Said Krishna, placing his hands on his hips. "And what made you suspect us?"

"Intuition, Vasudev! Intuition!" He snapped his fingers. "My intuitions are rarely incorrect!" Said Shakuni as he eyed both Arjunaa and Krishna. He had heard that they were a couple without being married and he WAS going to use it to blackmail them.

"Also...Rajkumari...! I have heard about you and this cowherd being...together even though he has two wives already! How would devi Rukmini and devi Satyabhama react to...this information..?"

Arjunaa startled up. What was he on about?- "and how would the whole of Aryavarta react if they found out that Gandivdhari is having an affair with the Dwarkadheesh behind everyone's backs...eh?" Arjunaa gazed in shock, while Krishna stood still, monotonous.

"Everyone would be devastated and feeling betrayed.. about their favourite persons' doings and them committing adharma in war aswell... i take my leave now. Pranipat." Shakuni limped away, smirking like the maniac he is.

Krishna stared at his Parthavi. He had to do this now, or else...both of them would always be targeted, by the Kurus due to their on-going affair. Arjunaa inhaled and exhaled deeply, as she went towards her tent, without saying a word. She knew that Rukmini Jiji and Satyabhama Jiji would accept her without a word, but what about the world? The people? They wouldn't...at all...

Krishna wanted to scream and behead Shakuni right then and there with his Sudarshan, but this was required. Required to win the war, and for that...

it was required to...break...his Parthavi.

As everyone went to their respective room after cooling their heads down, Krishna went into Arjunaa's tent.

"Madhav? What are you doing here?" Arjunaa got up from her sitting position, from the edge of the bed.

"I have come to talk about something important..." The accusation and blackmailing still had Arjunaa nervous, and this gave her a bad feeling. "A-about today's incident..?"

"No. About...us."

"About....us..? What is it about us-?"

"We need to stop our on-going affair."

Krishna stared at Arjunaa silently, who had slumped down on the bed once again, but in utter disbelief, shock and melancholy. Tears had rimmed her eyes, that were shaped like a swan's, not even a moment after. But they refused to fall.

"We n-need to s-separate..?"

"Well, yes...but i will still drive your chariot and help you in war. But...we can't be together...like that...anymore...." Arjunaa's naturally big eyes now widened even more, as the tears that refused to fall before, did fall after his statement, as she clenched her teeth and gripped the edge of the bed with both her hands tightly.

Krishna's heart clenched tightly. Oh how he wanted to take this all back and wipe her tears, and hug her close and kiss her to sleep. But alas! That wouldn't be possible now. He couldn't bear the sight in front of him. Oh how he cursed himself for being the God of the Universe now..

Krishna then took his leave, and as soon as he left, Arjunaa got up too and looked at her now- tear strained face in the body length mirror. She stared angrily and sadly at her own face as she punched the mirror hard.

The big shards of the mirror got in her delicate skin and her fist, and they started bleeding heavily. But the Rajkumari didn't care. More and more tears cascaded down her beautiful face as she finally broke the mirror completely and slid down on the floor.

Drops of both blood and tears dripped down, as the young girl kept crying her heart out.

Unbeknownst to her, her Madhav was still standing outside her tent, and as he heard her heartbreaking sobs, he couldn't take it anymore and he broke into his own tears.

Oh how even the gods were upset at the separation of the lovers and their heartbreaking states.

Krishna had to get control over his mind and heart, like he always had to, unfortunately. He didn't want to..yet he had to...

Arjunaa had fainted on the floor due to blood loss and crying, as her body wanted to give up on life. The only one who she had loved and belived in in her whole lifetime till now had separated from her, what did she have now?

As she fainted, her mind and heart refused to accept this and still, like her body always did when she missed her Madhav, resonated with his name...

"Madhav..Madhav...Madhav...Madhav...."

That night was the first time Krishna had cried so heavily in his life...as he felt her pain and her body resonating her given name for him yet again...

"You know, Raj, once I've saved enough for a vessel, we should have a drink. Invite all our friends to the shores by Akyaali and toast to freedom"

1. You should definitely check out the story of Samudra Manthan. It ll be in one of Shivas short stories but if it's not, you should google it.

2. Did you know Ganesha had a brother and two wives...you should check out that story too. Again there was a cartoon about Ganesha's tales that used to come on Disney maybe? I used to love it.

OH it's not exactly mythology but you should see the movie Oh My Friend Ganesha!

3. Krishna had a sister too.... you can check out the story of the Jagannath temple!

4. You should read about Vishnu and Parvatis Avatars!Such good stories.

5. Try to find stories of Shatrughan- youngest brother of Ram, Nakul and Sahadev- youngest twins brothers of the Pandavas. It's so interesting that there's hardly any stories of them. Google helps!

6. Characters that I think are vastly underrated are

Hanuman- I think he was the og best friend/soldier anyone could have. He redefined loyalty.

Naarad Muni- such a great character. I have sadly not come across any stories dedicate solely to him but he pops in everywhere and I just love his characterisation and personality.

The Sheshnag- another creature who deserves the credit... do check out his story

Mushak Raj- Ganeshas friend and ride/vahaan...there is definitely stories related to the mischief they used to have..adorable stuff

What a roller coaster. My thoughts on KaySun in episode 61. 🖤 (semi-rant, read at your own risk).

But here’s the gist—the show may excel in writing certain characters properly, but writing for other characters is inconsistent for the sake of the plot. I’m framing it from the perspective of psychology and writing. I wish the writing in the show would better explain Suna’s actions because it shows unnatural character behavior written under the guise of supposed mental instability that only conveniently appears when it furthers the plot (much like Ferit’s on-and-off again diabetes).

1. I personally think Kaya has been written very consistently thus far, he has just been framed badly. He was never going to hit Suna; Ferit just stopped him, but if Ferit hadn’t stopped him, Kaya would hit the wall. I just hate how they made Suna flinch because she’s never done that. Love how he apologized and reaffirmed his love for Suna, so when she implodes (and I fear it is coming soon), she will have him to turn to.

2. I personally disagree with people saying Suna is not being OOC. I still think she is being OOC. I never expected Suna to be mentally well; she definitely is not over her wedding rejection with F, and she has trauma and anxiety and a whole lot of insecurities. However, her being brain dead and acting like a zombie intent on getting Ferit due to a fortune teller is crazy. She is not THAT crazy, and it is so OOC for the girl who loves her sister and supported SeyFer (to the point of scalping Ferit’s mistresses) will be so weird about this. Mind you, she was looking at Kaya with heart-eyes in that one ep before becoming crazy due to Ferit.

The fact that Suna was able to point out 1) the fact that her father Kazım did not change, but just changed tactics and 2) lead Kaya to believe what she was doing with Ferit was due to Seyran and hide aspects from him (because she knows it’s WRONG) screams clearly logical and sane to me. Now if old Suna from S1 pulled crazy stunts like this, it would’ve been understandable. But I don’t believe she can regress this quickly after so much character development, so I really think they are making Suna OOC and dumb for the plot. She is way too inconsistent, and not in an impulsive way. You cannot switch insanity on and off, so I choose to believe she is just badly written and OOC.

3. A moot of mine, Raj, pointed out that it is possible that Gunger has ego problems and is trying to undo everything Leyla did. He hates women anyway so I believe this, lol.

4. I do think the FT plot will be revealed soon to Kaya and he will confront Suna about it. However, I also feel like Suna is bound to implode soon. There is a reason why there was a public KaySun fight where Suna vehemently denies anything and Kaya is made to look paranoid. That way, when Suna implodes (they better not make her cross that line, and no I will not write what I think will happen) in front of the mansion and gets humiliated and punished, the audience will not blame the people living in the yalı for what has happened to her. In fact, they’ll think she lied and went against her own words, and that she deserves it.

5. This parallels a lot of Gunger’s writing. He always makes women say sht and do the opposite. For example, Seyran and Gulgun used to say they’ll never return to the mansion and their husbands, but they do it anyway and look like clowns. Imagine if Suna publicly denies something and then crosses a line with Ferit? 💀

6. I just like how they made Kaya consistently in love with Suna so he won’t abandon her, and if she implodes he will take it back. Ngl I wanted Suna to beg and confess and even get jealous—but whatever, I’ll take what we can get for KaySun endgame.

7. No one come for me, but I would prefer Pelin and Pırıl back so long as the former will mess with SeyFer. The way I see it now, there are no obstacles for SeyFer except for Suna, which is OOC af. Pelin or Akın can be the villain in their story, just leave my girl Suna out of this and let her be happy together with Kaya.

Hello.

My sister's friend had gone to the USA because her dad got transferred from India. She was there for, I think, 2 years before coming back home and you WILL not believe the kind of discrimination that 9 year old kid faced in that stupid American school.

She could not make any friends. She was left alone in the playground because her class mates were of the opinion that Indians are liars. And get this- the teachers did NOTHING about it, on the grounds that she would ' eventually make friends'.

For a country that considers itself the epitome of equality and whatever crap it calls freedom, American schools do little to promote cultural equality and erase assumptions of kids based on nationality. The television shows potray brown people as idiots who won't eat cows. In a nickelodian TV series- the creators openly call out Indians for what they deem as 'silly'- auspicious days and occasions that are celebrated by wearing ethnic clothing. This was in the show 'Jessie'. In the Big Bang Theory, a woman cooks chicken, she lays it on the table, and asks Raj, 'Oh, is that something you don't eat?' Everybody laughs, because, of course, the stupid Indians. We'll excuse school shootings and political transphobia and homophobia but, oh no, he's vegetarian?!

I would like to add that India wasn't homophobic before the British arrived. Homosexuality and being transgender was normalized, until the British criminalized homosexuality and began punishing transgenders by execution or imprisonment. Transgenders were, in fact, termed as 'godly' and 'magical' people- even during the Mughal era. Women now demand their rights, rape is an offence punishable by execution (as it should be). Dowry is banned and you can get arrested for it. Is there misogyny? Yes, there is. But we women are combatting it.

Get this straight- Not all Indians are straight, or Hindu. That country has a booming Muslim and Christian population, a growing queer population, communities that are growing woke. Queer communities are still facing oppression- but they're getting over it, they're crushing it. I'm not saying you shouldn't potray India with problems. India is violent. But stop radicalizing your views. India isn't evil. The country is changing. It has the same problems as any other country. The faults of country shouldn't be talked of as the faults of the people. If anything, it's the politics, and the way they brainwash people. If you're going for 'equality' and 'representation' show the good parts as well, or don't try at all because television and media have a huge impact on people. Incomplete pictures just poison other communities against each other and it's the children who are affected.

He is the pastor at the church that a few other characters go to and he is married to his "lovely" wife, Sunflower. Sunflower, originally a demon, won over his heart with persistence and willingness to compromise on her own instincts in order to be with him. Eventually, as it was hard for them to touch, she asked him to purify her, turning her into an angel so that she'd still be immortal with him.

But eventually, she tired of this, as it went against her nature. So now she is simply a crude human who censors herself around her husband. And they live happily married to this day, sometimes being asked to assist with purifications within the family.

C is also for Celeste!

Buckle up, Celeste is one of my older characters.

Celestialite Jacelyn, maiden name Candit, is 100s of years old, first being born of a one night stand between her mother, Rubia Candit, and her other mother, Harmony, daughter of the archangel Gabriel (some of the other characters can change other people's genders, just stay with me here). When she was 5 years old, she was given an artifact by the oldest being on earth, the dragon king Uriah Jacelyn. This artifact, an amulet, had the ability to keep powers within it until the user needed it. Although she was born an angel, she accidentally shoved these powers into the amulet and ended up burying it to keep it safe. Then immediately forgot where she buried it.

She was raised by Rubia and Esmerelda, her sister Ruby's mothers, along with her sisters Ruby and Rose. During this time, their grandmother, Garnet Candit, would take them at random times and "train" them. She'd force them to develop new powers and become stronger, or they'd be punished, either by being sent to a room to be killed and hurt, then brought back to life, or by hurting another of the sisters. Celeste and Rose were both hated by her, for different reasons. Rose for being exactly like her mother, and Celeste for being incredibly weak, as she had no magic, only aura, which only emitted a calming or happy feeling to others or if she made the calm really strong, she could make people fall asleep.

Celeste was a very sweet child, against cussing and hated violence, as she wasn't good at fighting either. She was complacent, she had a habit of saying yes to the boys in the village who would ask her out, no matter what. She just had a hard time saying no, though she didn't mind any of the things she ended up doing unless it was mean spirited. Eventually, after some time, their mom ended up having two children with the man she'd been married to, Paul. Raj and Sapphire.

When Celeste was the age of 40, Rose had a meltdown, causing her powers to go haywire and absorb all of her family's power, making them all end up in their gems. There Celeste sat for hundreds of years, sometimes being picked up by the odd traveler for her calming energy, leading to the discovery that Celestialites can absorb negative energy.

At some point, she lost track of how much time had passed, as time is off in gem form, Celeste was picked up by Nero Dorenmorphercarger. The Dorenmorphercarger family, later to be renamed the Sly family due to their tradition of letting the youngest child pick their family name when they become a certain age, was a family of assassins, trained to kill, torture, or do anything they needed to by any means necessary. Another one of their traditions, was to find an artifact to assist in gaining more power, attaching said artifact to their body. Celeste was considered one of those artifacts, along with Ruby, who would a little bit later be found by Nero's younger brother Polo, just joining them in their bodies and assisting them when needed.

Nero ended up leaving the family, not fond of the family business and how they didn't discriminate when killing others for profit. He refused to kill innocents. This led to him meeting up with and joining Rose, who had started a rebellion years before to stop the oppression, discrimination and harm of magical creatures and those with magic. Nero quickly fell in love with Rose, adoring her attitude, spontaneity and thirst for justice. Not to mention her love of children.

Speaking of their love for children, Nero ended up in a lone cabin by himself for a while, while Rose scoped out the next area they'd go to. And during this time, he ran into three children. Ivory, Steele and Solcrates Jacelyn. He took them in, although Ivory, the oldest, was skeptical of him, and they all quickly took a liking to each other, no matter how many times Solcrates tried to eat the table. Or the floor. Or the baking pan. Or his leg. He loved those kids like they were his own and felt something special about them. Something he couldn't put his finger on and Celeste agreed.

Until one day, their mother found them. Lotus Jacelyn had been trying to kill them since they were young, disappointed in all of them, especially Steele, the only one who had gotten their father's angel genes. And just like that, Nero was killed, trying to protect Ivory. And Celeste was alone again. She had been taught a technique years before by her mother to be able to create her own body by absorbing her host, but had hoped to never have to use it. But Nero asked her to use him for that, begged her to, so that she would be able to live herself again. His closest friend.

TOTAL DRAMA REVIVAL TIERLIST + THOUGHTS

After binging all of the new season, I've updated my initial tierlist! Priya stays winning, no surprise there. Thoughts about the ENTIRETY of the new cast (with spoilers) under the cut!

Let's just start off by saying that the over the top toilet humor and intro aside, this was a great season. While Pakhitew Island was rancid with blatant obvious character tropes, this season managed to make most of their characters relatable while parodying at it.

But as for Caleb, Scary Girl and Ripper... Those were on the nose too much for my liking. Caleb got the season 1 Justin treatment, Scary Girl is literally Jinx from League of Legends, and Ripper is nothing but a shoehorned character for fart jokes. It sucks because I thought Ripper was going to be great. His personality is pretty solid and reminds me loads of McArthur.

Now that I've got the slog out of the way, time to dissect the more intriguing parts of this show!

Nichelle, Damien and Axel were tremendously robbed this season, and you know it.

Axel's dexterity and agility would have no doubt gotten her far. Unfortunately, her prickly attitude got her booted very early, akin to Eva's elimination back in the original TDI. She's definitely the Shawn of this generation though. And hey, which begs the question — is she his kid? It's been 15 years after all...

Nichelle was nothing like the mean girl label everyone pegged her for. Just a typical rich, famous celebrity that's never been out of her comfort zone. Rude and vicious? No, she had the team spirit and was always ready to pump up her team. I love Dakota, so I am definitely a fan of Nichelle, the two being so alike. In her elimination episode, she had a breakdown where she realized that she wasn't "all that". It was honestly pretty sad to see.

Damien was the person with the most common sense on that show. It's funny how he's just wants the million bucks and never seen the show before. But when he sees what there's up against? He's totally done. FINALLY, A CHARACTER THAT GETS IT. He's a whole vibe. In the end, he decided he wanted to stay after he did some awesome heroics, but his team voted him off like he wanted... Better luck next time.

Speaking of next time, apparently these three do have another shot. They've all been invited back for another season, which means that we can explore these characters far more! Let's hope that the writers do not miss this opportunity.

As for someone that I don't think overstayed their welcome, MK definitely takes the cake. She was honestly a great character with witty comebacks and superior intellect. I think she got just the right amount of screen time. We got to see her in action while making room for other character's developments to shine. Nice.

Wayne and Raj are what happens when you combine Katie and Sadie with Geoff and Brody. I found their bromance pretty sweet actually. I don't think they had much time to grow more distinctively from each other though. And I know how everyone was betting their money on them or Caleb/Bowie as the gay couple, but I'm so so glad that they weren't.

Instead we got a delightfully surprising pair — Bowie and Raj. While I did want to see more build up, with 13 twenty minute episodes, you can't really do much. But no matter, I still thought they were plenty cute! I needed to see them smooch in the finale though. It would've been loads better than...

Chase and Emma.

How this pair irks me to no end. Chase is an incel and Emma is stupid for going back to him. Really hit the nail on the head with the on and off again couples of the world. Seen this way too often.

Speaking of which, I think you all owe RR Emma an apology. Because RR Emma actually had loads more character outside of her boyfriend. We got to see her in action, taking charge, her fiesty attitude, the great dynamic with her sister!

But this Emma? All she did was whine nonstop about how Chase was a horrible boyfriend only to go back to square one. Every second of her on screen was either her wanting to torture him in the best way possible or lusting after him. Girl... After everything Chase's done to you, him granting you immunity in a round does not cut it.

I'll give some points for the Bowie/Emma friendship. Except for the fact that it centered around Chase mostly, UGH. Bowie going "ew straight people" is how I felt about this whole ordeal.

And in case it wasn't obvious enough, Chase deserves to be ejected into sun. He radiates toxic masculinity. He wanted to change Emma's name to "Chase's Girlfriend"? He thought a guy should win the finale? He can't take no for an answer and keeps pursuing his ex? I hope he rots, ew.

Bless Zee's heart for being bros with him. Goodness knows I could not do that. But let's face it, Zee is bros with everyone on this island. He's that stoner friend everyone needs. Just chilling, making some unintentional funny comments, you get the gist. I first pegged him to be the scaredy cat type, but seeing him in the zone instead was hilarious. And he's the amputee! How cool is that?

Now I know I haven't talked about one of the best parts of Total Drama — the villains/antagonists.

Julia was a very fun twist villain. At first, she was just Dawn but if she was a social media brat. I was surprised to see that facade crack and her true colors shine. Instead, she's a two faced teenaged girl, which I see a lot in society. Putting on a show for others only to bash them in private. Watching her let loose was a thrill and I was here for it. Her manipulation, scheming and determination is unmatched.

At least, that's what I would say if Bowie didn't exist.

How Bowie absolutely dominated that competition. He was here to win and he meant it. Seeing him pull the strings was a sight to behold. He convinced the team to vote off Caleb at first glance, outsmarted Julia at her own game, ruined Priya and Millie's friendship, and snagged a pretty cute boyfriend too. If that's not absolute winner things, I don't know what is.

Which brings me to the part I've been waiting for. Last, but certainly not least of all, Priya and Millie.

These two are MY Total Drama inserts, I'm so sure of it. Millie disgusted by her own generation and Priya's obedience to follow her parent's dreams were things I felt in my soul. I know that they weren't popular when the characters were first leaked, but I'm so glad that they beat the early boot allegations.

Millie's character arc is one of the best things of the season. She came here to write a book slandering the people her age and thought of herself as above everyone else's nonsense. But then Priya happened. Priya was nice to her, she was the first real person to ever make Millie feel good about herself. And that was the wake up call Millie needed and the turning point of her life.

Priya also learned something too — self worth. She was too eager to be friends with Millie off the bat and have nothing but good energy all around. Only to realize that maybe she's putting more effort into their friendship than the other person is. And as someone whose been in that position multiple times, it absolutely broke me.

And everything went to hell when Bowie gifted Priya the notepad in which Millie was writing smack about everyone. Of course, Millie had changed her mind and was trying to be a better person, but karma catches up to you. Priya finally let herself be gulfed in anger and Millie truly got hit with the great significance of Priya coming into her life.

In the end, Millie managed to apologize and pour her insecurities out to Priya about everything. It brought both tears to me and Priya and the two of them reconciled. This was the best friendship story I've ever seen written on Total Drama. It's like what Gwen and Courtney could've gone through in All Stars...

Also, Priya wins. How cool is that? I rooted for her at the very start AND SHE WON. I'm loving this so so much. I'm sure there's another alternative ending where it's Bowie but the one I watched was Priya so that's the true happy ending to me :3

Sidenote: Anyone wanna talk about the Priya/Damien ship tease? Honestly I'm glad Priya didn't blush at anything Chase said; I know the fandom thought they were going to be a couple. But the best girl Priya and the best boy Damien had a hint and that's another win for me.

Think about it, a girl who's prepared for Total Drama all her life with someone who's never seen it before? GOLD. They were even paired for the finale! Do you think next season will have them be a couple? Manifesting that so bad with a real Chase/Emma breakup. And more Raj/Bowie while we're at it too, yeah?
