No but actually... Bakugo’s parents who are SO nice to you? Know your own family isn’t in Japan so they take you in as their child-in-law almost immediately? Even after only a few months of dating their son???
They all probably say it’s because Bakugo was such a bad child they need you to make up for it... but just like your boyfriend, they have very keen senses regarding who’s going to last in a relationship with him and for whatever reason, they know it’s you.
Then every other weekend you’re going grocery shopping arm-in-arm, in sun hats with Mitsuki and being bought fancy lotion and clothes... while Masaru is coming over all the time to pull weeds in your garden and give you nice meal prep.
Funny, because the both of them remind you so much of Bakugo... and because you have two new parents before you even know what’s happening.

I'm in A Mood™ (stressed) so im going back to my roots of melting two character together into one person. So bruce wayne!danny fenton. Danny Fenton who, for eight years, grew up in a beautiful gothic manor with his mom and dad under the name "Bruce Wayne". Playing piano with his mother, running around the manor with his father.
Then when he's eight it's ripped away from him. There's blood on his hands and pearls pooling at his feet, and both his parents are dead in front of him.
And he gets shipped off to distant relatives "the Fentons" shortly after, Alfred close on his heels because someone needs to take care of him, someone that knows him. Bruce goes to the Fentons for the safety of anonymity. Gotham's press wants to sink its teeth into him.
Danny misses his city even if it took everything from him. There are shadows in his eyes and he's pale as a sheet even beside his distant cousins, and they change his name to "Danny Fenton' because nobody should know that their newest child was illustrious orphan Bruce Wayne.
They call him Bruce behind closed doors. Danny prefers it that way, he clings onto the name -- the one his parents gave him -- like a lifeline. He makes friends with Sam and Tucker. Tucker takes one look at the willowy, morbid little boy standing in the corner like a shade, ghosts in his eyes, and drags him out into the sunlight, and takes him over to Sam.
When Danny is twelve, he's still not over it -- and he's a little obsessed with the Fentons' research, with the morbid. He has books upon books on death, murder, detective work. Anything he can get his hands on. And stars. He loves stars.
Alfred owns the apartment next to them and comes over regularly. Danny clings to him.
When Danny is twelve, he's still quiet, meek, a shy little thing prone to being bullied. Freaky little Fenton with the night in his eyes and too-cold skin even before he put one foot in the grave. in a sleepover in his room with Sam and Tucker, he tells them the truth. They're his friends, he trusts them.
"My name is Bruce." he murmurs, voice quiet as the breeze, always quiet. he's staring at his star-covered sheets.
"Like Bruce Wayne?" Tucker asks, a joking tone in his voice.
Danny smiles a little, lamb-like with insecurity. "I am Bruce Wayne." And he takes them down to the lab, disrupting Maddie and Jack, to prove it. Sam tells them of her own wealth then shortly after. They start calling Danny "Bruce" in private too -- its trust. Thats what it is. It's trust.
Sam goes to media functions and comes back with aching feet and complaints on her tongue -- and Danny soaks it up all like a sponge, splayed across a beanbag chair with Tucker in her room. He's not envious of her, he used to go to events with his parents and they kept him safe from the ugly of Gotham's Elite. For the most part. He's had comments made at him, he doesn't miss them.
Alfred returns to the manor semi-regularly, Danny goes with him. he wanders the hallways and helps Alfred clean, the last thing either of them want is for their home to fall into disrepair. He brings Jazz with him next time, then Tucker, then Sam. They all help him clean, and he shows them his room. The one across from his parents', it feels strange.
When Danny dies when he's fourteen, the first adult he tells is Alfred. He and Jazz go over to his house more often than they stay in the Fentonworks building. At least at Alfred's, the food doesn't come to life. Alfred sits at the kitchen table and weeps when Danny tells him, Jazz is upstairs, and its just the two of them.
Danny's ghost form wears pearls around his wrist and the gloves look stained with some kind of black substance. He looks like a child who died in a lab accident, but he also looks like a child who has shadows dripping off his shoulders, curling at his feet, hanging from his eyes.
because amorphous blob batman has my heart always and danny/bruce will not escape it even in death even if that IS the only reason im giving him Mild BatBlob Vibes...so far
when they go to the manor, alfred helps danny make a pile of stones between Martha and Thomas' graves, nobody but the two of them (and sam and tucker) will know what it means. (not even bruce's children later down the line, not for a long, long time)
danny dives into ghost fighting on shaky feet and not half as witty as he once was in one world. he's skittish, skittering between blasts from shadow to shadow and clumsily making his way through each battle. but helping people lights a fire in him. he still has shadows dripping off his feet but there's a purpose in his eyes.
and god help him, he's going to help people.

Soukoku is always ever going to be about Chuuya. It’s not for Dazai, not meant for Dazai or his character or feelings. It’s a ship that is only about chuuya and always will be. It explains why all skk fans are chuuya fans only and couldn’t care less about dazai. Even the ones who do “stan” Dazai apparently, actually don’t. They just for some reason can’t admit to it. Dazai is grossly mischaracterized and reduced down to a “pathetic simp” and his mental health issues are again, made only about Chuuya. All the “shippers” even think they’re dazai because they “simp for chuuya” implying that’s all his character is about. Tells you a lot about how much skk shippers “understand” dazai. So the self projection makes dazai’s characterization worse. This ship exists only for chuuya. It has nothing to do with dazai and it never was about dazai.
haven't thought about them in a hot minute but i wanted to take some time to read through this. i agree that both parties are grossly mischaracterized within the ship itself with chuuya getting forcibly feminized and dazai being reduced to horny obsessive twink BUT that's what happens to mainstream ships unfortunately as they're forced to fit the already existent "enemies to lovers" mold even though it doesn't accurately characterize their dynamic at all. sad but true

Been talkin on my discord server with some friends about a DC A/B/O au.
But like, Gotham just says fuck gender.
Like they just straight up are mixtures of dynamics or change, depending on their mood, because there's so much chemicals everywhere along with so many curses in Gotham. Like they are straight up messed up down to a biological state.
There is a reason that no one wants to go to Gotham and why they leave them alone for the most part. Like people even moving there eventually start to lose their dynamic or starts shifting as well, and it freaks people out.
Not to mention that Gotham horrifies those that believe they should still follow 'traditional' norms. Omegas are often far more violent and larger than the alphas, bettas egg on others instead of calming them. Or at least that's what Outsiders always see.

OK VERY VERY UNPOPULAR OPINION
Look, I LOVE KOKO (from the Ninjago movie) I REALLY DO
but I feel like Misako haters who in the same breath adore Koko forget the fact that Koko literally dated and LAYED THE evil warlord that destroys everything and harms innocent lives - all while you know, being Lady Iron Dragon….a warrior who’s supposed to protect the innocent and what not….
AND THEN when she’s raising Lloyd, according to her, she would always tell him to not be ashamed of who his father is…..?
LIKE GIRL LMAO IM SORRY BUT THIS WOMANS MORALS WENT ALL THE WAY OUT THE WINDOW 😭😭😭😭 LIKE WDYM YOU FELL IN LOVE AND DID THE DEVILS TANGO W THE MAN WHO DECIMATES CIVILIZATION AND DESTROYS FAMILIES?!() SHE REALLY THOUGHT SHE COULD FIX HIM?!?) GIRL WHERE ARE YOUR MORLAS THIS MAN IS EVIIILLL😭😭😭 AND THEENNN WHEN THIS MAN CINTINUES TO BE A TERRIBLE FATHER AND CONTINUES TO TERRORIZE AND DESTROY THE CITY- ACTIVELY PUTTING HER AND LLOYD IN DANGER- SHE STILL TELLS LLOYD TO NOT BE ASHAMED?!??
KOKO. YOU CANNOT BE FR RN 😭😭😭😭 WHY TF WOULD SHE WANT HIM TO NOT BE ASHAMED OF HIS AWFUL FATHER- JUST TELL HIM “YEAH YOUR DAD SUCKS NEVER BE LIKE HIM-“ LIKE LMAOO
And where I’m going w this is that yall despise misako for leaving Lloyd at Darkleys and paint her as a terrible mother and what not - but then turn around and praise and adore Koko like yalll Koko is NOT perfect either 😭 this woman also did awful mistakes and acted dumb by tellling Lloyd to not be ashamed of who his EVIL FUCKING father is 😭😭😭
And Ik like maybe shes saying that to comfort him and make him feel like Garmadon being evil isn’t his fault, cuz if you say “YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF WHO YOUR FATHER IS” sounds very harsh and makes it sound like Lloyd has fault in that. But the way Koko phrases it sounds like she spent her life trying to convince Lloyd to not hate his father or smth and only then snapped at Garmadon when he took over the city. Like if my husband is some evil warlord taht constantly puts my city and friends in danger I wouldn’t try to convince my son to not hate his father bruh 😭 I will not defend that man just because he’s my sons dad 💀 a bad person is a bad person Koko you should have been mad from the start bruh 😭😭
So again- my point is- I love both missko and Koko but the amount of hate misako gets compared to Koko is super annoying and I feel like I need to remind yall that Koko isn’t the perfect angel yall act like she is 😨
so stop contradicting yourselves!!!

common misconception i see about claudia is that she's a grown woman trapped inside a child's body. while this isn't technically incorrect, it leaves out a major aspect of her character that isn't often addressed and serves to make her all the more tragic. see claudia is less a woman who's been forced into a child's body and more a child who is and will always be a child no matter how long she lives. don't misunderstand, she's blindingly intelligent, she certainly has the intellect of a grown adult, but she does not and never will possess the wisdom and maturity of an actual adult. all of the vampires in the series, claudia included, essentially exist in a state of limbo as though frozen in time, their organs petrified and unable to grown or age. in claudia's case specifically her brain ceased to finish developing at 14. her frontal lobe will never come in, because its development got cut off while she was still a child. it's why she often makes choices that aren't always rational, or why she might be blind to the intentions of others, namely the parisian coven. its part of why she can't see that she's being toyed with, and why she has such a desire for community, a desire to fit in and be seen as mature. that's the thing that makes her so tragic to me, she wants nothing more than to be seen as an adult, even though, in the eyes of both mortals and her immortal peers, she is not and never will be one. if anything, her attempts to do so will always and forever be seen as childish, like a little girl trying on her mother's oversized high heels for the first time.

The fandom loves to take Levin and Malachi from Aph and give them to other characters (usually Garroth and Laurance) in their rewrites, and it makes me uncomfortable.
It reminds me of early Owl House discourse where people were convinced Camila was an abusive mom and wanted Eda to adopt Luz. That was tied up in a lot of white favoritism, and I feel similar vibes with Aph. Can we just let one of the only canon poc characters keep her children please?
Like I get it, it’s clear from the original series that the kids are close with Garroth and Laurance, but that doesn’t mean they need to actually literally adopt them, because reminder they already have two moms! That’s regardless of if you ship Zoeymau or not, because it’s clear in the original series that they see both Aph and Zoey as parental figures. Focusing on their lack of father figures honesty feels sexist to me. Aph and Zoey are doing fine raising Levin and Malachi during season 1, they don’t need any help.
