Even though I write more nonfiction than fiction these days, the principle still applies. King even mentions essays here, which is a form of nonfiction writing. This once again reminds me of the necessity for ruthlessness in writing. Anything that detracts from the point is unnecessary, anything that doesn’t further develop the point is unnecessary. King is an advocate of short story writing and calls upon authors not just to gun for a novel, but to consider the shorter formats, too. They force you to be economical with words, using only those which will make a strong lasting impression.

May I ask, what are the super-huge wordcount goals for? I always find them really impressive and inspiring, but I'm curious what it is that you're writing.

Of course! I'm an open book, haha. I'm a freelance writer for a living, so the word count goals are for things that I've been hired to ghost write! The current one is actually due at the end of the day, so I pushed it REAAAALLY close towards the deadline this time around, oops!

I ghostwrite novels, blog articles, YouTube scripts, and short stories. I also have a book outlining service which is pretty popular, and I do copyediting/lineediting though that job's still pretty fresh and not as popular as my others.

Bugün ikinci bölüm olarak belirlediğim Etiket ve Yazı alanları kısmını yazıyorum.

Bu bölüm ile yavaş yavaş oluşturduğumuz pencerelerin içini doldurmaya başlayacağız.

Şimdi penceremizi oluşturmaya başlayalım.

Geçen bölümde gösterdiğim class yapısı ile penceremizi oluşturduk. Şimdi label(etiket) kullanımını öğrenelim.

  setText metoduyla sonradan label isimlerini değiştirebilirsiniz.

  LineEdit

Bu kısımın bir aksiyonu olmadığı için direk kodlarla gösteriyorum. QlineEdit ile rahatçaHtmldeki input benzeri bir alanı oluşturuyoruz.

Eğer derseniz ki şifre korumasını nasıl yaparım diye setEchoMode ile input alanının şifre için ayarlayabilirsiniz.

  Şimdi isterseniz ufak bir giriş alanı oluşturalım. uyarı olarak QtDesigner ile yapacağım için sadece label ve lineEdit alanlarına dikkat etmeniz yeterli.

  Ufak ufak artık kendimizi geliştiriyoruz.  Bir sonraki yazımızda  listeler, combobox alanları ‘nı göreceğiz. Bugün buttonlarla ilgili yazıları yazıp artık daha güzel örneklerle ilerleyeceğiz.
