11.🫶 Teasing or sensual touch

“I don't think I've had a bath since I was a kid,” Don said as he lowered himself into the water.  Loki watched with his eyes half closed until Don was submerged up to his chest.  “That's because your bathtub is only suitable for children,” he said, letting his eyes fall closed. 

The bathroom of the presidential suite wasn't as grand as those here in Asgard, but it was far better than the one at Don's house. The more time Loki spent there, the more he noticed how many aspects of the home were in dire need of an upgrade. He didn’t understand how the man was content to live with such shabby surroundings. He heard Don chuckle and then sigh. “It's not like I have a lot of time to be lounging around anyway.” His voice was quiet, as if the heat of the bath was already working its magic. Loki opened his eyes.  Don mirrored Loki, reclining against the far end of the bathtub with his arms resting on the sides. It was deep enough that even though Don bent his knees, they were still fully submerged. Loki had his own legs stretched out, forcing Don to put his feet on either side of Loki’s so that their ankles touched. Don had his eyes closed and his head tipped back. The warmth of the water had brought a pink tinge to his skin that was creeping up from where the water lapped against his chest. Don sighed again, looking completely relaxed, his expression softened like it always was when he'd just woken up.  Loki couldn't resist the temptation. He lifted one foot and dragged the outside of his ankle along the inside of Don's calf. As he slid it back down, he watched Don crack one eye open. Loki held his gaze as he did it again, going up to the inside of Don’s knee.  Loki lowered his foot to the bottom of the bathtub and Don shifted slightly but didn’t draw his legs away.  “I thought you wanted to relax,” he said, looking more amused than surprised.  “I did,” Loki replied and lifted his foot again. He paused there, not touching Don yet, only watching Don’s gaze drop as he swallowed. Then Loki put his foot back down.  Don looked up, saw Loki’s expression, and shook his head with a soft laugh. Loki’s smirk grew. Don had figured out the game.  Don shifted again, sinking a little lower into the water and leaning his head back. When he closed his eyes, he was smiling. “We have different ideas about relaxing,” he said.  Loki let the anticipation build as he watched Don breathe in and out, then trailed his foot up that same path, going a little further past Don’s knee this time.  “I find this very relaxing,” Loki said, repeating the motion. He watched Don grip the sides of the bathtub to hold himself still.  “Of course you do,” Don muttered, but there was humor in his voice.  Loki continued to tease with slow brushes of his foot along Don’s skin, working his way closer and closer to Don’s crotch, his gaze on Don’s face the whole time. He could tell when Don shifted from simply attempting to hold still, to resisting the urge to touch himself. Loki continued until Don’s hands were trembling where they held onto the bathtub.  Only then did Loki pull his foot back completely and sit up, causing the water to slosh against them both. Don opened his eyes, looking confused at first and then relieved when he saw Loki closing in on him. Don reached out as Loki settled in between his legs, tilting his face up for a kiss. “Had enough relaxing?” Don asked against Loki’s lips.  “Simply changing the method,” Loki replied with a grin, and then set about helping Don release all that delicious tension he'd built up.

Okay but the reveal that not only were Ravonna and Mobius BOTH once hunters, but that they were partners????? Adds so so much depth to their relationship makes so much sense why a judge and an analyst would be so close. And that Mobius couldn't kill the child that would grow up to kill thousands so Ravonna made the hard call and did it in his place??? God that adds so much weight to earlier in the season where Ravonna spoke about how she's always made the tough choices so Mobius didn't have to😭

Truly EONS of friendship, being partners trusting each other having each other's backs cleaning up each others messes. A bond that lasted hundreds of years later even after they were professionally separated and Ravonna was promoted to judge and Mobius transferred to analysis. I just. NO FUCKING WONDER Ravonna felt so gd betrayed when Mobius got a new bestie and chose him over her. And no wonder even after Ravonna literally pruned Mobius in S1 he still wanted to try and work things out and mend bridges cause they've been through tough shit together before and after all this time they're basically each other's FAMILY and-

As a Norse mythology nerd, and a Logyn shipper, seeing so many Lokius shipper compare Mobius to Sigyn gives me a headache.

Seeing people compare Mobius to anyone who is not a villain usually gives me a headache.

Mobius has nothing in common with the goddess who most know aspect is staying by Loki side through the worst of it and shielding him from pain.

Ok again I’m not back completely on Tumblr yet but

Since we finally got to the ending of this stupid, horrible book, I can say this:

“I don’t care HOW much creepy, obsessive and violating ‘romantic’ dialogue you give Gullveig/Seidr, I am NOT mourning her death!”

So with the end of this book, we literally still have the plotholes of:

With the Summoner never having explicitly agreed to making a child with Seidr, WHO was the child supposed to be and why even include that in the story? Because clearly it wasn’t Heidr since she wasn’t born in the light of Vanaheimr.

Why does Seidr not remember her time as Kvasir? And no, putting in a “Oh you’ll have to explain it to us!” out of story isn’t cute, it’s lazy and shitty writing.

And plus that “final battle” was SOOOOO anti-climactic. And it felt like there was NO stakes since Seidr just magically pulls Kvasir and Gullveig out of death and into the convenient magical realm outside of time.

This book sucked ass and I’m glad Kvasir and Gullveig are dead. I’m glad this book is over. I just hope the next book isn’t also just some overly smutty-designed characters and low grade writing.

it's so strange seeing people being secretive and shit about reading fanficrion like it's a taboo that you read in the clandestine meetups at 3am in your bed, because I've been reading fanfiction at the ripe age of Way Too Fucking Young (seriously I think I learned my abc's two months prior) and I'm also the very talkative type of autistic so. It is very safe to say everyone I know KNOWS I read fanfiction. If I'm on my phone for more than ten minutes around any given family member they ask if I'm reading fanfiction. They're wrong sometimes. Bc I also write it.

Deadpool 3 or not but we have to watch a scene when Mobius receives Loki’s coordinates and witnesses a terrible, magnificent picture of how heavy, weighty branches bite God’s shoulders and arms until they bleed, and he himself, like a stone cast from gold, sleeps with his eyes closed.

Mobius get upstairs and kneel while crying, pittying his God of Mischief, love, being desperate alone there.

Loki opens his eyes and asks for a proper hug.

I'm blown away by how often I see people saying that Loki and Mobius is queer baiting when imo I don't feel like it's queer baiting at ALL. I don't think close male friendships should be immediately filed off as bait just because one of them is bi.

A hum of acknowledgement resonates across her larynx, an undertone of mischief beneath doll-like features as she purposefully refuses to meet Loki's pointed gaze. Such honesty from the God of Lies and Deceit would take anyone aback, though for a moment the seductress wonders how much she can childishly prod at his mental images of her with suggestive words and flirtatious gestures before she accidentally awakens more amorous instincts within the deity.

A projection of herself materialized beside Loki, sitting on the arm of the love chair in which he sat. Lithe arm reaches out towards the God's face and circles to the back of his head, silken-soft fingers gently stroking his onyx curls of hair in a repetitive motion as Amora herself sat back and picked up her wine glass. She knew he was telling the truth, sensing his love and lust for her like a sweet burning of the skin. She peered into his consciousness and observed all the hand holding, cuddling, embracing of her curvaceous frame, every desperate kiss and every soft exhale of her breath against him. Teasing him with a personification of these fantasies may have seemed cruel, though it offered her a sense of enjoyment.
