I AM PROUD TO ANNOUNCE that i sat down today and hammered out all the particulars of Beyond the Fracture

i always had the ending, the beginning, and many scenes from the middle very clearly realized in my head, but the middle (that most accursed middle) was kinda...nebulous i guess? like the scenes were THERE but disjointed and with no transitional material

so today i just forced myself to sit down and put all those scenes in order, and find stuff to bridge 'em, and sort all that material into probably chapters, and now the fic is...well, in great fucking shape, there's no other way to put it!

i have a few other WIPS with some sections like that...new goal is to go in and muscle through all of those accursed middles because it makes buckling down and finishing the story so much easier once i have the outline nearly perfect

Man, Dungeon Meshi is so good. Restarted after putting it off for ages (I kinda put it aside at like chapter 40 ages ago, and never quite picked it back up, but with it wrapping up...)

And man, I for real did not appreciate how good just everything is at the time. The Cleanly Varied Body Types. The on point comedy and drama of it all. How DISTINCT the characters are (which as a dedicated trash diver is uh...Man I appreciate it so much it's unreal)

It's just such a good series man.

ART RAMBLES: as i mentioned on the tags of my last drawing this piece gave me SUCH a headache #i think it's probably cos it was just supposed to be a quick sketch so i used a more stable pencil brush #but then i really liked it so i decided to properly colour it instead of just doing the watercolour thing i usually do for sketches #but with finished pieces i like the lineart to be kinda messy and the sketch to even show through bit #and since i used the more stable brush for the sketch it ended up looking WAY too clean. not like my stuff at all.#so i just started throwing stuff at the wall to see what could make it more interesting. full background! actual lineart! texture layers!#and this here is what i was the happiest with. i don't... love it though. it should be looking way more interesting given the pose #and then i also did the purge girl halfway through this and it looked SO good right out of the bat (pun intended)#so i went a bit into a spiral. did some realistic stuff i'll post soon. and now am trying out a thick black lineart style.#(i'll definitely still use the coloured lines for the sketchy watercolour stuff though. it just looks way too cute)
