I am trying to find this fanfiction which is about making a bet. Harry and his friends say Harry cannot make Draco have a date with him. Harry believes it is just for fun and wont fall in love with Draco. But it happens and Draco heard the bet from Blaise. Harry is miserable and went home. He tells his parents, James and Lily what happened. And Pansy helps at the end. Anyone knows please help me!

1. looking for a fic that came out maybe between 2003-2009 on fanfiction.net. In it, Sirius and Remus are alive and dating, and they are Harry’s gay godfathers. They might give Harry a makeover. Harry and Draco fall in love, and I think that they’re still at school. Lucius and Voldemort are dating at Malfoy Manor and one of them has a thing for purses. Lucius swishes his hair a lot.

2. fic on ao3. It was a pre war drarry. Draco-centric where he befriended harry. I think it was time travel fix it, but im not very sure. Lucius and draco are arguing about Draco’s behavior and lucius smacks draco in the face. his ring cuts dracos cheek and he bleeds. Both him, narcissa, and draco are shocked over this since its not like lucius to hit draco. Narcissa yells at lucius and then tries to talk with draco in his room. Im pretty sure draco ran off to 12 grimmauld place after that and sirius and harry where there when he arrived. I think he arrives at hogwarts train with a bandage in his face. pretty sure draco was the one to get sirius out of Azkaban early

Found! 3. I read this fic a pretty long time ago, at least 5 years and I've been looking everywhere for it but can't find it. I think it was on ao3, eighth year, where Harry gets turned into a kid (around 7years maybe? Definitely under 10) and McGonagle makes Draco take care of him. Harry has big scars on his back from the Dursleys and they cause him to have seizures (? Or something like spasms maybe that are painful) fic is not The Dragon and The Golden Baby by jolly_love

Found! 4. looking for a fic I read in the past couple months on Ao3 where Harry has a menial job at Gringotts as a form of repayment. He knows his goblin co-workers pretty well but he’s not allowed to do any important work. He and Draco are tasked with opening a box that hold’s a witch’s will and the key turns out be a pendant his goblin boss is wearing and it’s revealed that he and the witch had a relationship. It was not part of a larger series and it was probably under 15k words. fic is not Reparations by Lomonaaeren

5. it’s years post war and Harry has been an auror abroad. I think maybe France? But he comes back for a case and is surprised to be working with Draco. Then he learns Draco is friends with all his friends, especially Luna and Neville. There’s a scene where Luna asks him to model for her cuz her model dropped out last min and Harry loses his mind over the photo the next day.

6. slowburn drarry fic! unfortunately all I remember is that Draco had been sorted into a house other than Slytherin, and Hermione often helped him with his anxiety being around crowds

7. Draco asked harry what would happen if the aurors come to take him to Azkaban for the use of his wand, and Harry answers that he would kill them all and them do it with Draco right there, I know that harry was morally grey but not dark harry

Found! 8. It’s an eventual Tom/Draco/Harry story. Good dark side. Harry ends up kidnapped/captive and they realise he is abused and start taking care of him. He is kept in a hotel in France I think. Dumbledore gets him back and uses a ritual to turn him into a puppet. Ginny and hermione support this. Ron eventually regrets and helps Draco let the Death Eaters into Hogwarts. They reverse the ritual on Harry. Dark side wins.

Found! 9. I don’t know which year, but it’s one of the fanfictions where Harry is the Heir to like 8 different families, and Narcissa teaches him etiquette. The thing that is stuck in my head is that he uses a special knot for his tie, which represents all the families. I think he was actually introduced to the Wizengamot and voting on stuff, but I might mix that up with other similar fanfictions. fic is not Birth of the Serpent King by Keira Marcos

10. post-war fic I read on Ao3 probably in 2021 or 2022. All I remember is that Harry accidentally travels through time and wants to again (for Draco obvs) but Hermione says even his small trip caused big changes and now there's this thing called Brexit.

This is SNIP is from my WIP good stuff folder. It's over a decade old, but I keep it because I always felt it had potential. I have about 5K written. It's temp title is Ghost Ship. I've spliced some scenes together here, so you can get the gist.

Scene 1: "Draco, come here, look properly! What do you think?" Harry saw Draco's face up close now, right beside his father's. They were extraordinarily alike, except that while his father looked beside himself with excitement, Draco's expression was full of reluctance, even fear. But then the words came out. "It's him. It's Potter," he said, and he walked away toward the fireplace where his mother stood watching. Lucius pressed his wand to his forearm, calling Voldemort. Bellatrix, Narcissa, and Draco all had their wands pointing towards the trio.  Harry knew at that moment he'd lost. The world seemed to shake on its axis. Everything seemed wrong.

Scene 2: 3 spliced scenes the morning after Hogwarts Battle

Draco gave a wry smile and walked over to the four-poster bed.  Harry kept his wand pointing at Malfoy's chest.  "What do you want, Malfoy?" "I—I need to show you something.  I need you to know and I'm afraid it will be gone soon," Draco said, his hand sliding through his fringe that needed a wash.  "What do you need to show me right now?  Why can't it wait?  I've had a bit of morning." Draco couldn't help but laugh.  "A bit of a morning you say?  I know, Potter, but I think you should know.  It was what Dumbledore left me in his will." ... "Just some words," Draco said.  None of us could figure it out then but eventually its meaning became clear. Harry snorted.  It sounded like the Headmaster. "What did his will say?" "My mercy still awaits," Draco said. ... Draco burst out laughing.  "Potter, this isn't a fairy ring like they taught us in school.  This is one where second chances are given." "What?" Harry asked as he rose so he could see Draco as they talked.  "You mean like a Time-Turner?"  "Almost," Draco responded and then turned towards the white marble....he took a few steps over and then lay his hands on it.  "Time-turners were mainly used to observe and not interfere." Harry coughed.  "Well small changes could be made, and then life carried on absorbing this new course.  Eventually it all blends in. This type of fairy ring, though, only appears when the course of history has been altered. Someone made a wrong decision, and the repercussions were so bad that it couldn't be absorbed. There was no way for things to get back on track.  It had been irrevocable altered.” "What did you use it for? Why didn't you go back to the night Dumbledore died?" Harry asked. That is what he felt he would have done if given the chance. "That might have made a difference, but I doubt it. Dumbledore was going to die anyway. That is what Snape told me once in confidence. No this was worse than that night, Potter." Harry walked over to where Draco stood and placed his hand next to his. The marble was cool and smooth. "What could have been worse?" Draco looked at him. Harry shivered. The last time those grey eyes had stared at him like this had been at Malfoy Manor when Draco said he wasn't sure it was him. Harry knew that Draco had been lying. But why? Then it struck him...the truth. "You confirmed it was me that day in the Manor, didn't you?" The nod was slow but deliberate. "Did I die?" Harry asked without hesitation. "Yeah, you did along with Weasley and Granger. It was over in a few moments and then everything became so much worse."

Hi, can someone pls help me, I cannot for the life of me find this drarry fic I read a while ago.

It’s a post-Hogwarts fic and from what I can remember Harry was building an amusement park with WWW and Draco was a candy/sweets maker (I think) and they asked him to design treats for the park. And there was a whole committee of people trying to build this park. There was something about a water (?) themed ride that wasn’t working properly, and it was like tied to Harry’s magic.

Pls help I can’t stop thinking about it 😭

“Can Mr. Potter please come to the Lost & Found? Mr. Potter to the Lost & Found, thank you.”

The words echoed through the intercoms at the grand IKEA. Without thinking, Draco rushed to the Lost & Found at the entrance, relieve flooding his veins when he saw the little blond head standing next to one of the workers.

“Scorp!” he exclaimed breathlessly. He knelt down and took his son in his arms, squeezing him softly.

“Mr. Potter?” the worker—Anna, according to her name tag—asked, a smile lifting the corners of her mouth.

Draco nodded and stood back up, taking Scorpius’ hand in his own. “Thank you,” he said. “I had been looking for him everywhere.”

Anna chuckled. “Don’t worry about it. I’m glad we found you.”

“Yeah!” Scorpius exclaimed happily. “Now we can get cake!”

Sharing an amused look with the worker, Draco picked Scorpius up and placed him on his hip. “I don’t know, Scorp. We’ll have to ask daddy first.”

Scorpius nodded, excitement already blooming on his round face. He wiggled around in Draco’s arms until he was put back on the ground, taking one of Draco’s hands and pulling him in the direction of the restaurant.

SWIP Snip

I’ve already shared one this week, but my brain’s buzzing something rotten and darling @crazybutgood​ tagged me and just. I’ve been writing this fic since June, keep coming back to it, by far the longest I have (at currently 8 chapters). Featuring thieving Scorpius, grieving Draco and Harry who is... looking. For his way. For them, I guess. 

Harry only remembered it five steps from his door: peppers. He never got peppers. He was going to make goulash for Ron, which meant he spent the last few days telling himself: peppers, peppers, you need a lot of peppers, paprika means pepper in Hungarian, don't forget about the peppers, you always forget something, don’t let it be the peppers. And here, living to see yet another prophecy fulfilled, the boy who blew it. Three cartons of oats milk and not even one pepper to spare.

He stood there for a moment, thinking—no, wallowing—no, beating himself, because really. Really. Really, and just now, with the company thing and Teddy’s eleventh looming, now he had to go and do this. Harry laid the bags on the pavement and rubbed his eyes. Ron and Hermione would be here soon. He still had to take a shower, tidy up a bit. Cook the damn goulash, which he’s promised Ron he would ages ago. Give himself the never-ending pep talk he stole from that TV series, the one about things being not the end of the world, fancy that. And then Ron and Hermione would come over, and it’d be nice, it always is. They’ll say nice things about his food and he’ll remember how much he loves them. It’ll be nice.

So Harry went back with his tail between his legs. Just for the peppers, just because Ron made such a big deal about finally trying his Famous Goulash, just because Harry was a pathetic baby who needed constant coddling. Always such a baby. Which was also why, when he first heard the voice, he ignored it.

It happened, like any major drama, in the produce section. A voice coming from behind a huge bin of potatoes. Something he hasn’t heard in years, and also sort of never heard at all. Still he froze, glued to his spot down by the tomatoes. Felt his heart racing, unreasonable in his chest. And just when he stood there long enough, when he managed to convince himself it was nothing, nothing, actually nothing, the voice spoke again. Even worse, laughed, deep and warm: “Darling! Hey! Come back here!”

On the one hand, it couldn’t be him, because this was Harry’s Tesco’s and a random evening in November and no one’s seen him in years. On the other hand, who would say something like that, darling in that tone, in the middle of a supermarket, if it wasn’t—

The scene unfolded before his eyes, stuck as he was on the spot. Tiny lump of a human, blond-blond in a very telling way, practically all smile, running his way. Following: lean, far taller than he had any right to be. Hair down to his ears, messy, like that made sense. A bit paler than he has been, tighter around the mouth, but his eyes all lit up.

“Darling! Give me the—I’m sorry, Sir. It’s yours if you still want it.” He caught up with the toddler and grabbed what seemed to be a potato, handing it back to an amused-looking old man. “That was terribly rude, love. What would… we don’t steal from other people’s baskets. Apologise to this gentleman.”

“It’s all right,” the man waved a hand, “he can keep it, it’s not really—”

“Please, Sir. Scorpius, come here.”

But he just smiled, with a cheeky chuckle that made Harry remember he was there too. Something like a cough tore through him, a sudden oh, right, and then all the people in the shop turned to him. Or at least: the old man with the potato, the tiny boy, and Malfoy.

The world was silent for a long, thick moment. All four of them seemed stuck in this shared gasp. Then Malfoy blinked, three times in a row, picked up the boy, and turned his back on Harry.

“Awfully sorry,” he said, and left. Harry still stood by the tomatoes, unable to lift a finger.

This is set one year after the war where Draco has been in a cell since awaiting trial, and Harry wants nothing to do with the magical world. Harry is desperate to get away, but finds himself in the other end of a spell with Draco as consequence of political machinations. I loved this! Gorgeous work. Well written characterization and excellent character growth, especially Draco. It’s hard enough to lose a part of yourself that defined you, but pair that up with a new reality that can feel simultaneously overwhelming and ungraspable, it’s easy to feel powerless and dejected. It was refreshing to watch Draco shift from being wary and uninterested to learning and finding interest in life again. I loved the move to France! That was the kind of escape I craved when I was at my lowest point. I thought it was sweet that the villagers took care of Harry and shared stories of their interactions with Draco. It’s always fun to read Draco in the Muggle world. I loved Harry; he’s such a good person, because that’s what Harry is, a fundamentally good person. After reading this fic, I thought how perfectly fitting the title was. It was lovely to see the development of their relationship which started off as the two of them struggling against each other to finding comfort that they’re not alone and caring for each other. I have a tender spot for getting together fics that just feels right and natural. I loved the hopeful ending - it was just the beginning of their new life and love together. @crazybutgood: The Owlpost gift exchange always features incredible, festive works in various forms, and @viventasopales’ submission last year was one such ingenious and heartfelt work I was absolutely charmed by. It includes two of my favourite things—Drarry and poetry—in a really creative way. I’ve always found opal’s writing to be really poetic, so to read poetry and haikus written by them was a treat. They took inspiration from ingredients from a gingerbread recipe for each one, crafting a lovely, domestic and homely atmosphere that will warm your heart. The gorgeous moodboards they’ve made serve to enhance that vibe, lending to a cosy and delightful read.

The Noble and Most Ancient House of Biscuits by @vivantesopales (435 words, rated M)

A Christmas poetry collection inspired by gingerbread recipe (each title is an ingredient)—bon appétit!

@ewpigguts: In Criminal, @the-sinking-ship combines classic tropes (fake relationship, lowkey enemies to friends to lovers) with fresh takes on two iconic characters. The hilarity and cleverness that is Draco combined with the obtuse and caring Harry make for a perfect pair. Don’t forget (my favorite fanfic character of all time) Pansy Parkinson, who’s absolute bitchiness and exquisite fashion sense saves the day approximately five times. Also Blaise Zalbini is uber-rich and into real estate, who knew! Silly and fun but with the this-could-be-a-real-ending-to-the-series quality that I require in fics I read, I could not recommend Criminal (or anything else written by @the-sinking-ship) more highly. If you have a singular ounce of appreciation for quality literature, read this fic.

Things were going just fine for Draco Malfoy. He successfully conned and counted cards across Europe and America, amassing a small fortune, along with a lengthy rap sheet. That was until he made the grave mistake of returning to England for a high stakes card game and got himself caught – by Harry Potter no less. Now, Draco is stuck in England under Auror Potter’s guard with no friends, no distractions, and no escape. How the hell will he pass the time? And since when did Potter get so bloody fit?

@stavromulabetaaa: aideomai is well-known for fics such as Dwelling or Far From the Tree, which are of course phenomenal but I think often overshadow their oldest masterpiece Such Great Heights. I’ve had several people tell me they were put off by the multiple pairings/polyamory tags and that this was the only aideomai fic they hadn’t read yet! When really the heart of this fic is friendship and falling in love (with one person! Don’t get me wrong, I adore poly fics but I would definitely classify this as an epic Drarry love story). Mostly it’s Harry being grabby and obsessive and oblivious and so very flawed, which is always something I find fascinating to read. Draco is witty, endearingly protective, and infuriatingly prideful. It’s one of those fics where each and every character is bursting with personality, and what makes this story so special is the vibrant cast of people we all know and love lying around in piles like puppies and healing and laughing, and partaking in a bit of animal rights activism.

Draco Malfoy, wide-eyed and pale and in a decidedly ragged shirt, was crouched next to the pile of whatever the dragon had been eating.

Harry threw himself to a halt and yelled, “Merlin, how many times do I have to save your life?”

Hi! Im looking for a multi chapter post war fic I read a while ago on Ao3. I remember that Draco had to get married? but definitely live with Harry in Grimmauld Place in order to avoid Azkaban.

I remember one scene where Harry takes Draco to the burrow for Sunday brunch with the Weasleys plus Teddy and Andromeda. I think Harry was talking to someone else and Ron pulls Draco aside and starts threatening him about doing anything suspicious he’ll beat him up and send him straight back to Azkaban. (Something along those lines) This triggers Draco because he was also being abused during the war and caused him to have a panic attack bc it reminded him of the past. Harry meanwhile finally notices Draco is missing and finds him hyperventilating with Ron. He tries to calm him down but Draco faints. He takes him upstairs to rest in a bed and tells everyone that he appreciates their worries but if they do that again they’ll have to face his wrath (something along those lines) and that when Draco wakes up they should be kinder towards him.

Another scene is (80% sure/20% I’m mixing this detail up with another fic) teddy seems to really like Draco and is always happy with him or crawling towards him. There’s a scene where teddy is crying and Draco is looking for someone to help Teddy, but no one is near them, so he does it himself and Teddy immediately calms down with him. After that scene, there’s short snippets of Draco playing or putting his attention towards Teddy, while Harry watches them from afar and it makes him happy they get along.

I'm searching for a fic, it's already finished and I read it through, it was on Ao3. It's a Drarry fic, good writing, I remember the autor has other recognized fics and this is just one of the many. Harry was an auror, and if I remember correctly he was laid of or in a undefined leave, anyway he gets a hold of what Draco is doing, SOME SPOILER he has some sort of shop, in the outside is like a bar, but also sells potions, Harry in disguise buys Felix, turns out what Draco is doing is entering the minds of his clients and helping them relieve moments with their families/loved ones and/or creates a good better reality for them.

I remember Powerful Draco Malfoy to be one of the tags, and if I'm not incorrect also Ambiguous ending, I really want to find this fic, I had it until I got my phone fixed and lost everything.

Need Help Finding Drarry Fics!

Ok so I can't find two Veela Draco dreary fics that used to be on AO3. In the first one Dracos a Veela and approaches Harry asking him to be his mate (Veelas have some agency and can choose their mates in this fic). Harry and Draco are on relatively good speaking terms and Harry is an auror that has done some work to protect Draco in the past. Anyways Harry's super against Dracos request/proposition and its eventually revealed that he had a Veela Boyfriend (L something? )who became super toxic and controlling and then raped Harry during the Blazing season (basically when he went into heat). Harrys super traumatized by this and Draco wants to help Harry overcome the trauma. The second fic was another post Hogwarts Veela Draco fic where Harry unknowingly rejects Draco who gets sick and starts dying due to the rejection. Harry, Hermione and Ron become friends with Draco and worry about him as they notice his illness but Draco doesn't tell them anything. Before he dies Draco decides to do everything that he's ever wanted so he does a ton of crazy adventurous things too and he also takes on a secret identity that does charity work (the fic definitely had a secret identity tag) and Harry falls for Draco's secret identity and they go on dates. Now that I think about it im not sure if this was a Veela or just a soulmates fic...

Hello, I am in need of assistance. I can’t find another drarry fic I read 😭

So it’s post hogwarts and they get together without telling anyone but it’s not like they were *trying* to keep it a secret they just never got the chance to tell their friends, so no one knew and they got married and were living together, but their friends thought they hated each other. They eventually came clean at a wedding (Ginny and Pansy’s ??) cuz of some kinda spell?

Anyways I remember loving that fic and would really like to reread if possible so pls help
