Okay but I've been trying to make sketches of various Cybertronian optic formations and afflictions. Especially since we usually see bots either lose a single optic or both, and lose it as in it's physically removed somehow.
Now I have drastically low vision, pretty intense myopia that gets worse every year. Funny story that's caused by your eyeballs being unable to focus longer distances because it has grown physically too long, changing how light bounces inside it. Kinda like a camera lense that can't open wide enough.
I want to explore the fuzzy areas of vision that fall between 20/20 vision and 100% blindness. For instance, bots being too close to an explosion and thusly getting permanent flash blindness. The iris in their optics having issues opening and closing. The glass being too thin and being prone to scratches and damage, or the glass having malformations causing weird reflections. The glow of the optic seems to have something to do with how they see, so there could be issues with dark spots or unusual flashing. What if a mechanism that is meant to spin gets stuck or damaged? This doesn't even mention visors and how their issues may be similar/different.

Prompt 261
“So is no one going to talk about the eldritch space child or…”
“I mean, do you want to get between a child and Batman? I think the only one who could even get close right now is Superman…”
“No you’re right, I think- oh my god the eldritch space child is playing with batman’s bat-ears and he’s not doing anything about it what the fuck I thought only Robins could get away with that-”

I love Raph and haven’t said that enough so to be more specific I love that Raph is a soft boy who loves bear plushies, a gross boy who eats an assortment of things that are definitely better left alone, a smart boy who is more than capable of taking down villains through planning and fortitude alike, a strong boy who is dedicated to training his muscles and fighting prowess, a teenage boy who loves his brothers but is more than happy to tease and roughhouse with them, an angry boy who sometimes lets his anger take a hold of him to cover the fear, a gentle boy who is generous with hugs and affirmations to those he loves, a capable boy who takes on more than should ever be expected of a teenager, a good boy who just wants to be a hero and slowly comes to realize the cost of that duty, a good boy who has no reservations about putting himself in the way of harm coming to his family, a good boy who’s a great brother and son and person and deserves only the best the world has to offer.

The cutest reminder ever that the way family works in TSAMS canon is that two parties have to be in mutual agreement that they are family. If one party doesn't agree then they aren't family. Parties can revoke familial ties whenever they want and that means they are no longer family.
"Code Relation" theory is stupid because you're then implying that Eclipse is Sun and Moon's child. Which he isn't. Or that Killcode is somehow Moon's child and his brother at the same time that he's Eclipse, Lunar and Bloodmoon's "father" at the same time that they're Sun and Moon's grand children. Like, we're seeing the issue here, right?
Don't make things more complicated than it has to be. Just accept the fact that family is literally determined by a verbal agreement between two animatronics and nothing else because none of them were born from wombs. That means respecting canon when characters in canon decide that they aren't comfortable being family (like Eclipse) or just straight-up disown everyone (like Bloodmoon). It's okay to have headcanons, but don't try to push them onto canon.

in the very first episode fly, after dev mocks hazel and we're in the lunchroom scene, the piece of food he takes out of her lunch tray is a french fry, which she stated was her favorite food.
it's also noteworthy that in dev's first scene, he stuffs a kid into a locker. this kid is blocking his view of hazel, so he stuffs him into a locker so he can get a better look at her.
before he talks to hazel in the classroom, he has a worried expression on his face. i imagine this is because he wants to leave an impression on her.
