thinking about lee! minho and ler!changbin where changbin sets a trap. 

knowing minho would never let him get close enough to wreck him to oblivion, changbin devises a strategy. tire him out, and then the good ‘ol tickle hug. 

minho yelped when he felt a heavy weight behind him, though he softened the second he saw a cute hand (adorned with bin’s many rings) snake around his waist and pull him into a very warm body. 

“look at you, big spooning as if you’re the taller one.” minho jokes, arching his back forward when binnieplaces a kiss to his neck; it tickled. 

minho screeched when his arms were suddenly yanked up. “changbin…” he warned. “YAH!! DON’T!” He squealed when a hand rested near his side. 

“wait wait wahait—” minho was a babbling mess immediately, knowing he wouldn’t be able to escape the grip of the buff rapper. 

“too late!” changbin chirped, holding minho’s arms up with one hand and wrecking the dancer to absolute oblivion with the other. 

binnie slipped his hand under min’s pajama shirt to wiggle at his stomach, count his ribs, massage his sides, and wreck his armpits, leaving minho cackling, howling with laughter and begging for mercy. 

let’s just say that by the time binnie was done with him, minho was so thoroughly exhausted, tear stained cheeks and red face to match it all, practically boneless as binnie slumped on top of him, ready to sleep. 

minho would never question changbin’s ruthlessness to this day. <3

Seungmin - They fought a lot in the past. The reason they're so gentle nowadays is because they fought so much in the past. That's how they found the middle ground in their personalities.

Hyunjin - They don't bicker when they fight, they fight for real. But that's way back in the past.

Minbin have been ON ONE LATELY AND I AM LOVING IT.

Cause we all know Changbin loves being the center of MInho's affections, and Minho isn't usually very openly affectionate in general, so it's just like, a dream come true.

Did you see the stage where changbin was sick and Minho couldn't do this part of the choreo with him?? IT WAS SO SAD THEY NEED EACH OTHER

Minho hated Changbinnie when you first brought him home. Hate … might be a strong word, but your Lino certainly didn't like the other cat. Went so far as to hiss at him whenever he sat in the wrong spot on the couch. It took a while, and several long, tough conversations where Minho was being exceptionally stubborn before they warmed up to each other.

(To his credit, Changbin seemed ecstatic at having an older friend. Wanted to be attached to Minho’s hip despite the other cat's best efforts.)

Looking at the two of them now, though, you'd never know that they used to not get along.

When you walk in after work, your job which you hate, Lino has Changbin pinned to the couch, licking his face while Binnie fusses underneath him.

“Yah!” It comes out as more of a yowl than a yell, “Let go!”

“Changbinnie,” Minho's voice is cloying and sweet, “stop wiggling or hyung will accidentally bite you.”

“I'm not- stop it- I'm not dirty! You don't need to clean me!” Changbin says, and Minho pulls back to stare at him with a frown, tail twitching behind him.

“I don't need to do anything. I'm doing this because I want to.” Changbin’s ears turn pink. “Or does Binniecat not want me to?” Minho pouts, fake and even though his back is turned to you, you can see the way his cute lips turn down.

“Ohhhh,” Minho flops over onto his back, trapping Changbin beneath him and giving the other a mouthful of hair, “Our Changbinnie doesn't like me anymore! Jagi,” he reaches out to you, “Changbinnie hates me.”

You snort. “I'm sure that's not true, Lino.”

“It is,” Minho yowls, rolling around on top of Changbin and causing him to groan in discomfort. “Changbinnie hates me and doesn't love me.”

“And why do you say that?”

“Because he won't let me-”

“Because I told him to stop licking my face.” You coo at how put upon your Binnie sounds, walking around to kneel on the ground next to the two of them to pinch at one of his full cheeks.

“Aigoo, is our Binnie sick of Lino’s grooming?” Your voice is high and pitched and you can see out of the corner of your eye how Minho’s ears have pinned themselves to his head in annoyance and you can feel when he flaps his tail hard against your arm.

“I just wanted to watch my shows.” Changbin is pouting at you, reaching out with his little hands to grab you in a bid for more affection. It works.

You are notoriously weak for displays of cuteness, willing to let anything slide if one of your kitties apologizes sweetly enough, and the two of them take advantage of this at any opportunity.

“Jagiiii!” Minho's drawn out whine sounds alarmingly close to your ear and when you turn your head to look at him, you're met with more of a Minho-shaped blur than anything else. You reach out to scratch between his ears.

“Yes, kitty cat?”

“Pay attention to me!” You giggle.

“And what about Binnie-bug?” Changbin headbutts your shoulder at the mention of his name.

“He doesn't love me anymore. Put him outside and let him become a stray.” Minho turns his head away, eyes closed and chin raised in the perfect image of distaste. The way he has one leg resting overtop of Changbin's gives his nonchalance away.

“Yah! Why don't we put you outside and let you become a stray?!” Changbin is leaving his post at your side to start wrestling with Minho.

“I lived here first!”

“I lived here second!!”

You laugh as their fighting takes them off the couch onto the floor, and you move from your spot next to the couch to take Changbin's now empty seat.

It's funny watching them wrestle, watching the way Minho's tail poofs up and the way Changbin’s ears disappear into his curly hair. If they were any closer to you you'd be able to see the way their pupils are blown wide from the fight.

Changbin gets a particularly good hit in and Minho lets out a high pitched meow, they're just playing, and you know now to only step in if hissing gets involved. That hasn't happened in a long time though, so you aren't worried.

Minho steps back and wiggles a little before pouncing on Changbin and you coo loud enough that they both turn their heads towards you.

“Oh, don't stop on my account, cuties.” Minho lets out a huff of air through his nose in that catty way of his before he goes back to wrestling Changbin to the ground.

Changbin usually lets Minho win. Something about cat hierarchy that you don't understand despite their attempts to explain it to you.

“It's the same reason we let you win, jagi.” Minho had said to you once.

“You don't let me do anything. I win based on my own merit and strength.” You said, crossing your arms over your chest. Changbin snorted.

“Yeah, sure. You're very strong.” He’d said, kissing your cheek.

“I know I am! Thank you!” Minho had said something about feeding delusions and then the three of you had gone to sleep. Or, you went to sleep and the two of them started wrestling on top of your body in the middle of the night.

Either way, Changbin usually lets Minho win, but today he doesn't. He pins the older cat to the ground and grabs the scruff of his neck between his teeth. Minho struggles, tail thrashing wildly and growl building in his throat. Changbin answers with his own growl and Minho flops uselessly underneath him.

“You cheated.” Minho says, faced smushed into your rug.

“You're a sore loser.” Changbin replies, letting Minho turn over so he can straddle him.

You smile at the two of them and laugh, bright and joyful, when Changbin starts grooming Minho's face.

“Hey! Knock that off!” Minho says.

“Not so fun, is it?” Changbin says, pinning Minho's arms down when he tries to shove him off.

Changbin slumped against the couch lazily, right onto his Hyung's stomach. They both had just been through ridiculous schedules once more, the rapper having little to no rest akin to the rest of 3RACHA. Eyebags started to become prominent under his eyes, his posture getting worse and worse over time. With comeback season and production of songs weighing heavy, none of the producer trio got any rest at all, now Chan being forced to rest with a cuddle hungry Lix while Jisung busied himself with Jeongin's company.

Minho barely batted an eye at the sleepy Dwaekki resting on his tummy, immersed in catching up on the K-drama that he held still on his phone above the younger's head. He felt incredibly bad, not knowing what to do besides let the rapper rest comfortably after all they've been through. He wanted to help, give back to Changbin who was their support during tough times, Changbin who was their happy pill when schedules suffocated them tight in restraints, now completely sucked of energy without anyone to lean on.

The cool breeze of the aircon blew over the bunnies, Lee Know trying to keep a calm face that increasingly worn down to an obvious frown of concern when Changbin shuffled awkwardly on his comfortable 'pillow', evident that his horrible sleep schedule was finally hitting him in the face with karma. Slowly but surely, a hesitant hand reached down to the younger, holding it gently in a warm embrace.

The dwaekki's eyes twinkled as he stared up at the older, who didn't look in his direction once, keeping his usual stern but calm expression with his eyes fixated onto his show. Changbin's fingers intertwined with Minho's slowly, the older holding his delicately as if he was a fragile piece of glass. The older eventually released his fingers from Changbin's, making him pout and whine pitifully under his breath. Fear not to the rapper though, eventually the fingers returned to him, this time on his forearm. He held his forearm, gently scratching the skin that connected the forearm and wrist area.

To Changbin's dismay, it tickled. It tickled a lot. The gentle scratches meant to lull him to sleep only kept him more awake, biting down on his lip to prevent himself from squirming or giggling. Unfortunately, Minho was all too oblivious, lightening up on the sensations to just barely grazing his inner forearm with light strokes. The rapper trembled in his grasp, throwing his head back onto the tummy, eliciting a choked gasp from the older. He glanced down to the squirming rapper, eyes glued to how the younger didn't try to pull his arm away from the soft tickles.

A smirk made its way to the bunny's face, before it was pushed down to a neutral expression, hiding his absolute joy of being the one to wash away the younger's worries. His heart swelled into a ball of affection for the rapper, watching his eyes crinkle with the cutest dimple ever, wanting to fawn over how adorable Changbin looked trying to bite back his giggles. Changbin eventually pulled away after a few minutes, afraid to cause a disturbance by ruining the silence with his laughter.

Unlucky for him, the fingers didn't stop, just landing onto his tummy to stroke his fingertips gently along the area instead, making Bin squeal and snicker away under his breath. This tempted the older all the more to start cooing over his reaction, but he wanted to be nonchalant about it until Changbin was ready to admit he needed more of these soft tickles.

"Hyuhuhung! Quit it! P-Plehehease!" Bin whined softly through his giggles, tugging gently at the fingers that made his tummy swarm with butterflies, his cheeks heating up like a sauna despite being in an aircon room as of late.

"Quit what my bunny? I'm just watching my show." Lee Know feigned ignorance and innocence, relishing in the giggles that bounced around the walls, grabbing his arm that pulled at his to gently scratch along his inner forearm again, making Binnie shake his head with more squeaky laughs.

"Stahahahap! Noho tickles!" He begs weakly for mercy, the tips of his ears burning red from the show of affection that piled onto him, melting into a puddle of tired, blushing giggles. God forbid he tried to hide his face in his hands, brought down gently by the older before his torture resumed. Eventually, he felt himself being worn down, eyes lidding while his vision clouded, his giggles wearing down.

Minho let the arm go, running a hand through the rapper's hand that elicited a purr from Changbin. Quietly, Lee Know might've turned down the volume of his exciting show, the snores of a finally resting Changbin smiling softly under the affection that rained down upon him.

He definitely didn't do that to hear the snoring, definitely not.

I feel like minbin is so underrated

I was watching their 2 kids room and they were talking about being chan’s left and right hands and THAT IS SO FOUND FAMILY CODED NO ONE CAN TELL ME OTHERWISE.

I also love how Minho is the type to love really hard but really quiet and Changbin is the type to love really hard but really chill (?) . Like, for a person who can’t take compliments and emotions well like Lee know, Changbin is a really good friend to have because he can talk about silly stuff and tease, but he can also like tell you how he admires certain things about you and what he worries about. Changbin is also super people smart which is a reason I love him so much. plus Minho’s love language is cooking and doing things for people and Changbin likes food so 🤷

This is all my opinion and what I take away from their relationship, but they are criminally underrated and I saw that you asked lol

Minbin!! I definitely see the appeal! I love whenever they tease each other on stage, they're so bold with it haha. I still remember the concert where lee know pretended he was about to kiss changbin and the staff deadass cut the cameras to black 😭😭😭

I think you're right they definitely can have a lot of fun in a way lee know's comfortable in while also being able to have deeper conversations if needed due to how great changbin is at them. Like changbin's presence in 2kr is so so valued by me because God this guy's got his thinking cap on all the time! The details he says about the members are so specific and special, it must feel like an honor for someone to pay attention to you so deeply. I also like when they fulfil their hyung and dongsaeng dynamic because I like seeing Minho be soft with members and binnie can often be the serious one in other areas like producing and directing so seeing him relax and act like fake maknae is fun as fuck!

I hope their next 2kr they tell us they went out to eat or something because I think I remember changbin saying he wanted to go eat with lee know because he wants him to cook the meat lmfao.

“I am not interested in marrying,” Prince Lee Minho says when he is eighteen years old.

He says the same thing at twenty and at twenty-two. 

He says it again at twenty-four.

Then, for the first time, he is told in no uncertain terms that he cannot continue to delay. The King and Queen have decided that he is to be wed by the end of the year. A committee of officials has been assembled to search the kingdom for eligible souls according to Minho’s desires, in the hopes of facilitating a happy match. Minho needs only to tell them what his criteria are.

“Fine,” Minho says. He crosses his arms, ever the picture of the petulant and cantankerous prince that his parents have made him out to be. Then he thinks. He uncrosses his arms and holds up a finger. “I have just one criterion.”

“Just one?” says an official. “My prince, we have never known you to be… unchoosy.”

“Okay, then. Two.” Minho adds another finger. There’s a murmur among the assembly of officials, almost certainly to warn each other off of questioning the prince lest he become even more difficult. Minho pays them no mind.

“First,” Minho says. “I want the man I am to wed to be a year younger than I am.” The murmuring from the officials turns approving and demure, to show that they find this requirement to be perfectly reasonable. “And second,” Minho continues, “I want him to be fat. Very fat. Bring me the fattest twenty-three year old man you can find in the entire kingdom. And if he isn’t very fat then make him fatter before presenting him to me. He should weigh…”—Minho takes a moment to think— “no less than six hundred pounds.”

The officials are silent. Shocked. Finally one of them dares to speak. “My prince, are you… sure? You’re sure that that’s what you really want?”

“Yes, I am absolutely sure,” Minho says. “Because then I will be able to test the loyalty of the man who is to be wed to me. On our wedding day, he will be faced with a rather long walk down the aisle of our grandest church. If he truly loves me and wants to be my husband, then he will be determined to reach me at the altar. He will not give up, even though his prodigious size will make the task extremely difficult.”

“And if he does give up?”

“Then I will not be wed, and I will seek another suitor in the new year.”

“Yes, your highness.”

Minho turns, satisfied, and drops into his ornate chair. He applies his attention to a book instead, and ignores the officials as they filter out of his royal study.

Then he hears one of the officials mumble that no man of such a size could walk so far, and another who responds by saying that that must be what the prince is counting on. No man can complete the task that Minho has set, so no man will marry Minho.

Minho could call them back, ask for the names of the officials who dare to question his prudence. Any punishment he proposed would be agreed to by his parents. But it isn’t worth it, Minho decides. Let them take as many men as they can into the kingdom to find him the deliciously fat man he’s always dreamed of.

Stray Kids Survival Show Reaction:

I'm currently watching the Stray Kids survival show for the first time and I've been noting down my thoughts while watching, so I decided I might as well share my live commentary on here as well:

Episode 1:

- Chaeryeong my love, my humble queen, skz fangirling for her was so cute

- Yeji and Ryujin already being heartthrobs before debut

- interesting how they only showcased the Itzy girlies individually of the girls team

- obviously grateful that skz got to debut through this show, but also grateful the girls team didn't debut bc I would've missed Lia

- Changbin and Seungmin were already such solid performers predebut it's insane

- OMG Jeongin was tiny, I 100% get the baby bread thing now

- Jisung somehow looked older predebut than he does now

- Hyunjin's predebut visuals!!! sir?!! leave some of those good looks for the rest of us

- wtf how does Felix look like he's 12 years old but has the same voice he has now??? my brain can't match his voice to his face, this is crazy

- videos of Chan as a teen are so cute, I can't-

- I do admire Chan's leader qualities which already show themselves really strongly here. He was 20, I believe, which isn't super crazy, he obviously will have had lots of experience by nature of having been a trainee for 7 years, but it's still an insane amount pressure

- Chan with Twice is so cute, my heart!!! Sana teasing him!! OMG!!

- Lily??!! OMG!! I love how instantly recognizable she is from her voice colour

- the girl team slayed, holy shit, my queen Chaeryeong loml

- from the showcase alone, I'd say 3racha + Seungmin were really their pillars they could rely on for live vocals/rap, apart from maybe Chan and Hyunjin they're all lacking in stage presence still tho

- Ryujin's resting pouty face, I love her

- Jeongin is so baby!!!

- Changbin 100% deserved that shoutout from JYP, I mean you wouldn't have guessed he's a trainee from how he looked on that stage, damn

- lmao not Minho keeping his clothes in bundles, what is wrong with this man

- the entire maknae line were such cuties back then omg

Episode 2:

- Chan being really harsh in dance practice bc it's important they get this right, and Minho stepping in to show Jeongin the dance in detail; it's like he observed the scene and saw that Jeongin felt a bit intimidated so he gave him some confidence by going through it with him

- Minho cheering everyone on before their performance, he's like the heart of the group atp, he keeps the cool for everyone, while Chan handles all the outward responsibilities, they really are like mom and dad

- 3racha + Seungmin again with their insane predebut live vocals

- Hyunjin's flow was a bit sloppy and Minho, Woojin and Jeongin sounded a bit out of breath (honestly didn't expect that from Minho)

- Han Jisung the ace of aces

- I sometimes see people make fun of Hellevator for its line distribution but it made sense for that context, Jisung was their most solid live performer and he could hit the high notes, so he should get the most lines

Episode 3:

- NOOOOO leave Minho to singing, don't make him rap, he's a singer and he has a beautiful voice, he's just not as stable yet

- Jisung holding Minho's hand while Changbin is supporting him during his rap is beautiful

- Minbin are truly the cutest, like for the song they chose, Changbin was like "this would suit Minho" and then later said "this song is mine, I'll do it with you" and an unsaid "I'll get you through this evaluation"

- the "there's no vocal" in relation to Minho, Changbin and Felix hurt my heart, let Minho sing!!!

- Seungmin's voice!! I am deceased

- the way Changbin is teaching Minho to rap, my heart

- Minho, Changbin and Felix are such a fun trio

- the Changlix kiss was too cute

Episode 4:

- apart from Chan everyone is super awkward at giving feedback which is so valid, but I'm impressed by Jisung who wasn't as harsh as Chan but at least tried even though he is one of the younger members

- my heart is bleeding for Minho who's like "I'm one of the older members, I should be helping the younger members, but instead they've helped me a lot" and Changbin who immediately takes the blame when Minho isn't rapping well enough and the fact that their entire performance is a mess bc the rap members are singing and the vocal member is rapping (although Changbin sings well enough tbf)

- leader Chan! the way he's serious and not afraid to tell the others off is honestly very impressive

- Minho's softspoken voice is just so nice to listen to

- Seungmin is so insane, I could listen to this man sing all day

- Felix is on the verge of tears, nooo :((

- when Minho cries, I cry, I'm so sad, and Changbin blaming himself again makes it worse

- Jisung has such a big heart, the way he talks about Jeongin and talks to Jeongin

- Han Jisung, the man you are

- it's really unfair, Minho's a dancer!! which he never got to show off at this point (which is their own fault for sure, but he was way too focused on the fact that JYP wanted him to rap)

- if anything, JYP's evaluation that Minho would hold them back is just wrong, he's no Changbin or Jisung who were already well-rounded performers at this point, but he is a solid dancer, he led the dance practice in episode 1 really well and he is the heart of the group. while Chan is responsible for making sure they debut and they're all doing good work, Minho is responsible for everyone's emotional well-being. it's honestly super interesting to me that Woojin, who is actually the oldest, doesn't take on any real older member role

- something I realized as well this episode is the leader qualities all of 3racha possess, they really took charge for these subunit performances

- as much as I love Changbin, I feel like Minho would've benefitted more from a collaboration with Chan for this evaluation. it would've removed this barrier that Minho built between him and Changbin because Changbin is younger and he felt like guilty having to rely on someone younger than him and Chan's tough love teaching style might've also spoken to Minho more than Changbin's much nicer method.

1: “Alright,” he says eventually, and Minho knows he understands. “It can just be ours.” i promise you this HITS in context. it's about loving someone so much you don't know how to separate yourself from them anymore. it's about chan feeling minho's feeling and minho refusing to admit that they're his. they're being unhealthy <3

3: with the vampire au, very sad that the first draft is almost done! i've had so much genuine fun writing something so bloody and obsessive and weird, and as sad as i am that it's ending, i'm looking forward to refining it and making it bloodier and more obsessive and weirder. with the red thread au, i feel honestly like i'm solving a puzzle box to make it make sense.

4: i was thinking again about the jeongchan steampunk au today, and the fact that i never got around to writing it! chan is a professor at a clockwork academy and jeongin is a pupil he takes on in secret (jeongin can't afford the fees but he has talent) and ends up falling in love with. it was inspired by taylor swift's illicit affairs and i keep meaning to revisit it.

12: i'm really into tragedy right now? not necessarily writing or reading it but just... vibing with it. things could never have been different, you know? no matter how the story was told, things could never have been different. there's a bit of that in the minchanjin that's next on my list. no matter what, all three of them would always make the choices that they make.

24: i watch cool shows/read cool books to recharge, and try to travel to spend time with my friends! sometimes all i need is inspiration from a story someone else wrote, a change of scenery, or good company.

30: i'm incredibly proud of protect me from the dark outside (despite what hides within), my southern gothic minbin fic! i absolutely loved how the vibe of it turned out and how the relationship developed alongside the plot. it was worth all the time i spent on it.
