Propaganda for Sanji x Luffy:

I don't think anyone is gonna bother denying the fact that WCI is literally just the plot of an otome isekai shoujo manga/manhwa. MC (main character) is treated like trash by family except for the 1 dead mom and 1 nice sympathetic supporter that can't do much of anything to help. MC escapes only to find themselves in an even worse situation somewhat of their own making, only to be swept off their feet by the ML (male lead) and saved, full damsel in distress style. Dramatic love confessions, crying in the rain, betrayal from an arranged marriage, it has it all.

Dude Luffy loves Sanji so so much like WCI is the best example and like you don't even really need to see the love as romantic if that bugs you but dudes. The first words out of the Luffys Shadow Possessed Oars was yelling for Sanji. He just loves Sanji so much and Sanji loves him too

The WCI arc in itself is mega SanLu propaganda. Luffy invaded an emperor’s territory, completely crashed a wedding, went up against Sanji’s evil science family, and got nearly beat to death by Sanji himself all in order to get Sanji back. Sanji offered his life to Kuma at thriller bark so Kuma wouldn’t kill Luffy. He pushed himself for 2 years all in order to get stronger FOR Luffy. Sanji feels sorry when he isn’t useful, the whole reason why he used the raid suit those few times was because he was thinking about getting stronger for Luffy, but realized that he didn’t want to become an emotionless monster like his family. Sanji broke down in tears at WCI when he tried to get Luffy to go away by fighting him. And then broke down in tears again when he ran back to Luffy and told him he wanted to go back home to the Sunny. No matter what Sanji cooks, Luffy always likes it and is proud to have him in his crew. Sanji is also one of Luffy’s “wings”, as stated by Robin! They’re both just so sweet and clearly care very deeply about each other.

Luffy saving Sanji on whole cake island got to me

[Insert everything that happens between them during WCI] how could I see luffy yelling about how he won't eat anything and will starve- LUFFY OF ALL PEOPLE- unless Sanji comes back and not ship them at LEAST a little. "Without you I can't become the pirate king" absolutely devastating cinema. Then Sanji laying out everything, in tears, and Luffy accepting it all and just saying, "well that's who you are" poetic. Final wci thing: luffy hearing judges bs about sanji and going "whyd he start listing all your good point" true love. This seems one sided but Sanji is also just as bad. "Which version of me do you prefer" anyone? They care SO MUCH about each other. Also Luffy loves to eat, Sanji loves to feed people, they're meant to be.

*gestures at the entirety of WCI* I mean that’s Love, they are Ride or Die, Luffy cannot become the pirate king without Sanji, whether that means physically because he needs Sanji’s support or just because being the pirate king means Luffy has everything he wants and what he wants is Sanji or both. And Sanji loves him just as much back! He’s his sun he’s his world…Luffy jump and Sanji’s too busy skywalking to bother asking how high. I just love them sm

First tape: I've actually never used one of these before. Hello, my name is Robert Wenabocker. I'm the lead engineer here at Warren Peace Memorial Nuclear Power Plant. Hey, guys, give me five minutes. I just gotta log it. The time is currently 18:48, and at approximately, um [rustling of paper], 5:17 today, this facility registered a loss of coolant accident in reactor Charlie. Er, at 11:20, all plant personnel were notified via intercom, and, of cou-

Second tape: [an alarm sound can be heard at regular intervals throughout] Hello, this is Dr. Wenabocker. It is 4/21/62 at 8:11. The LOC logged on the 18th has proven difficult. Our structural engineers have noted significant integrity loss surrounding reactor Charlie. Now, this integrity loss may result in repeated incidents of increased severity if left untreated. We are not doing that. We are handling things now with the repair materials on hand, and we should have this remedied within the we-

Third tape: [Alarm blaring in regular intervals throughout, Wenabocker sounding increasingly agitated] I don't care, I want two teams down there right now! Following on the official urgent materials request submitted all signs, [emphatically] all signs, are pointing to sabotage. This is a matter of national security! If we can't fix this w-

Fourth tape: [Wenabocker sounds dejected and tired] It is 2:22, two hours post order of a full evacuation of Peace Plant by Director Simms. [Beat] I stayed behind, since I'd already been um… [Beat] I stayed in hopes we'd get a call from the outside with some idea on how to avoid a full core meltdown. [Small chuckle of disbelief] But the cables on our comms are destroyed [in a tone like 'yeah, I don't believe it either']. Chewed through. [Tone turns sarcastic] You know, earlier this week, my team joked that evil spirits were behind all of this. [With underlying laughter] As a man of science, you know, I- [curious] hello? [Creatures chittering] The facility has been evacuated. You need to-

Fifth tape: [Creatures chittering in the distance throughout, Wenabocker hyperventilating throughout, his voice is panicked] There. Are. Five. Weasels. I don't know how they're doing it. [Indistinct because of Wenabocker's frantic breathing] I'm trapped here. I don't know what's happening. [Glass breaking, creatures chittering now very close by] No! No! [Sounds of a struggle, flesh tearing, Wenabocker wheezing, then sounds of Wenabocker gasping for air a few times, quite probably through a torn out throat, chittering creatures leave] [Increasingly weak] They're… all… so… sneaky… [Tape clicks off with disturbing finality]

Its me Logan, obviously, but I wanted to request a Scar x gn!reader hurt/comfort where the reader is really clingy and Scar is really busy and like shrugs the reader off, maybe calls the reader annoying because hes in a bad mood which hurts the readers feelings and Scar has to think for a bit before he realizes he hurt the reader and looks for the reader so that he can comfort them?

Sleep-deprived anger is not a good combo for your loving partner!

Content warnings (If any): ANGST ANGST ANGST!!!! Scar being sleep-deprived and hurting Y/n by not watching his mouth, its not exactly discussed but it is insinuated they talk out it later and they do, just not in this one-shot, don't be like scar kids

"He hasn't been home since almost a week ago," You said, wringing out your hands as you paced your and Scar's home "I'm getting worried. He at least comes by to check in every other day." 

"Maybe check around his Megabase," Gem suggested "He could be hyperfocused on that. You know it's his pride and joy." 

Gem was your best friend, even if you had barely met almost two years ago when she first joined. She was the one who encouraged you to tell your feelings to Scar. 

"Yeah," Y/n murmured stopped in their tracks "Oh! I can even make him some lunch!" 

"Yeah!" Gem smiled "I'll leave you to it! Have fun!" 

"Darling!" You called out to the man with a smile, petting Jellie on your way into the Scarland Theme park "I have Lunch!" 

When he didn't answer, you were curious. He always answers you, no matter what. You walk around the park looking for the man until you see him balancing precariously on some scaffolding about to fall. You placed the food on a stray bench and when you looked back at him your soft smile turned into a panic when he took a step back and lost his balance when there wasn't anything underneath him. 

"Scar!" You called and rushed forward to catch him 

he landed in your arms and crushed you under his body weight but you could care less. Scar was safe. 

"Thanks," He murmured and got up off of you before he immediately tried to go back to work

Not even a kiss? 

You grabbed his hand and pulled him back and towards the bench. He didn't fight until he realized what was happening. 

"What are you doing?" Scar hissed and ripped his wrist away "I still have some work to do! Plus it's dangerous for you to be around here!" 

"I made you lunch!" You smiled at him despite his harsh tone "I wasn't sure if you've eaten a full meal in a few days so I made it. I'm here because I need to make sure you're eating!" 

"Yes, I'm eating." He groaned and stared at you 

His stare sent chills down your spine. His eyes, usually filled with fondness and love when he looked at you, were now dead, cold, and... angry. 

"Now Please, get out. I'll eat later. I have to finish this building." He muttered and turned around 

Usually, you would have let him leave. Usually, when he gets like this, you let it slide. You knew how much he loved you and you knew he didn't mean it but today? 

Today, for some reason, you couldn't let it slide.

"Scar," You said "Eat. I won't leave if you don't eat in front of me." 

"Oh, void-" He groaned and dragged a hand down his face and through gritted teeth he said "Good void Y/n please shut up! I am trying to work here and you're just distracting me. Please go home. I need to finish this one last thing." 

"We both know it won't be 'this one last thing' Scar!" You exclaim "You will get distracted with another thing once you're done or find another detail to obsess over! Please take a breath to eat and come home! I miss you and I'm worried that you're pushing yourself too hard!" 

"OH MY VOID SHUT UP Y/N!" Scar yelled 

You shrunk back into yourself when he yelled. Scar never yelled, especially not at you. So when he suddenly turned to you, his face and eyes turning bright red and full of rage and vex wings splayed out to appear threatening. 

"BE QUIET! I AM WORKING ON A HUGE PROJECT THAT I ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT! I DONT NEED SOME CLINGY, NEEDY AND ANNOYING PERSON TO BE PESTERING ME EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF MY DAY!" Scar screamed into your face and rose his hand angrily to run them through his hair 

although, when he rose his hands you flinched and blinked back the tears in your eyes

"Fine," You said, you felt your body shake and forced your voice not to wobble "I'll leave you alone. I didn't realize you thought I was that annoying." 

You flinched when he let out a harsh sigh and wanted to sob when you heard him say "Finally" under his breath 

You turn around and walk down the main street before looking back at Scar, who continued his work before you turned back and sprinted off to find somewhere -anywhere- to hide your face from your angry lover

Hours later Scar jolted awake and wiped the drool from his face. On his back was a wool cover and a note attached to his forehead. 

I'm sorry. I'm sorry for bothering you and I'm sorry for being annoying. I found you asleep so I put a cover on top of you and decided not to bother you. I won't be sleeping at the house tonight. There's warm food at the house. - Y/n 

"Stupid, Stupid, Stupid!" Scar groaned at the note and hit his forehead with the palm of his hand as hazy memories of just a few hours ago danced across his mind "Why would you say that to them?! Oh god, they must hate me!" 

With shame and disappointment rising within him, Scar took off to find his partner in hopes of begging for forgiveness

When he got to their shared home the note was correct as you were gone and there was warm food in your place. 

He sighed and looked at the note once again.

Maybe Gem would know! 

Gem knew all too well

She stood at her door, hoove tapping angrily and nose flaring as her green eyes were lit ablaze with fury. 

"What were you thinking?!" She whispered harshly and grabbed Scar by his ear "Are you crazy? Even after you got mad at them, they still brought you a blanket and made food for you!" 

"I know I know!" Scar whined, "I messed up!" 

"You did more than mess up!" Gem rolled her eyes "They think you hate them! How dare you say they were annoying?! They care about you! And have cared about you since season 4! Five seasons isn't anything to sneeze at! That's a long time!" 

"I KNOW!" Scar sobbed and he coved his face with his hands "I messed up! I'm a horrible boyfriend! I was so caught up in trying to make a perfect place for the both of us and I didn't want them to get hurt and I was so sleep deprived and I-" 

"I don't want your excuses!" Gem tugged his ear again, pointy tip turning a bright red "I will let you into the house to apologize only if Y/n wants to see you! If they don't, you will have to wait until they are ready." 

"I will wait for millennia if they want me to," Scar insisted and dropped his hands from his face an earnest expression on it 

Gem only sighed and moved inside only to come back a few minutes later with a furious expression on her face 

"You are so lucky they are head over heels for you." Gem scowled and swung open the door for him "They're in their bedroom." 

Scar rushed inside and while the giant castle wasn't entirely finished, Gem and Y/n had fully made and decorated rooms. He rushed to the door of Y/n's and as he went to knock he hesitated

What if they said yes to make him feel better?

What if they were still mad?

Did Scar really deserve to be forgiven?

Should he give them more time?

What if they decide to break up with him? 

What if-

"Scar?" a familiar and calming voice snapped his mouth of his trance 

"... May I come in my love?" Scar asked, voice weak and shakey

There was a moment of silence before the door creaked open and your eyes, your beautiful eyes, the ones that enchanted Scar were red, puffy, and glossy

... All because of him

Scar swore he could feel and hear his heart crack but it may as well could have been his knees as he dropped to the ground and began to grovel at your feet, begging for forgiveness and crying his apologies. 

Your arms wrapped around the man who was sobbing until he calmed down and burrowed his face in your collarbone and had his hand gripping your hips like his life depended on it 

"Oh my Darling," You whispered and your throat suddenly felt tight "I"m sorry."

"No!" Scar looked up so fast he should have gotten whiplash "I'm sorry! What I said to you was undeserved and I should have never talked to you like that and whatever I say will never make up for it and you don't have to forgive me but-" 

"Oh shut up," You mutter and grab his face before pulling him into a kiss "We need to talk about this but we can talk about it later. When I'm less sleepy from crying." 

"Whatever you want my love." Scar sighed into your lips as he chased another kiss
