Genuine question to Mahiru fans

Would you be okay with a comic that explores Mahiru's UNREQUITED crush on Peko?

I have two comic ideas but I wonder if I should put them in the vault along with my Chihiro Pronoun comic. I feel like ppl are gonna either be mad or misinterpret it.

The two ideas under the read more if you want more context:

Mahiru tries to get Peko to smile. They go to all the cast members for advice but it's all futile. At the end of the day Mahiru is walking alone to her room. She didn't get Peko to smile but she's glad she spent the whole day with Peko. She stumbles on a secret meeting with Peko and Fuyuhiko. Peko has a soft smile (a smile that Peko herself doesn't realize she has) and Mahiru takes a picture. Mahiru looks at the picture in the camera; clearly mixed feelings.

This takes place after waking up from the NEO World Program. Peko and Nagito woke up after everyone else and is resting in the MedBay. Mahiru comes to visit. Peko tries to apologize but Mahiru stops her. "It's not your fault. From what I heard, you didn't want to hurt me. You were just a victim brainwashed by the Kuzuryu clan. But it's going to be okay! I wanna help you distance yourself from that life and watch you grow as your own person". Nagito butts in explaining that Mahiru is dehumanizing Peko by taking away her involvement in the decision. "You weren't there at the end of the trial so it's not your fault but we all decided that Peko did that on her own accord outside the Kuzuryu's influence. I know you don't want to be mad at Peko but you can't just erase her decision like that. Don't you think it's cruel to perpetuate this notion that Peko can't do anything for herself?" Mahiru grabs Nagito's shoulders and expresses anger that he'll never understand. Girls are just raised to take care of men. That standard is unfair but how are girls supposed to know that's unfair when society enforces it so much. It's not Peko's fault that she thinks this was okay! She doesn't know how else to live! Peko had only the illusion of choice but in reality there wasn't. But Mahiru can help her heal! They can have a normal peaceful life outside of violence! Hajime comes at the end, scolding Mahiru she wasn't ready to see Peko yet. Mahiru leaves revealing Hiyoko was outside. Hajime asks Hiyoko why she didn't do her job of keeping Mahiru out. Hiyoko just shrugs, clearly dejected that the girl SHE likes is much more interested in her murderer than her best friend.

i wanted to make a little something for disability pride month so woe, i cast "you get my fucking disability" on sniper.

I hc that the respawn machine doesn't heal injuries that happened before its first use so Snipes first has heavy scoliosis from the asymetrical shooting position and carrying his equipment all the time, and he eventually gets orthesis to "fix it". It's a surgery where they put rods n screws in your spine to hold it upright.

It makes him constantly mostly upright, impossible to bend more than a certain amount and comes with its occasional chronic pain flareup 👍

(as a fun bonus, the way i found to make my shoulderblade pop which makes an incredibly loud noise and freaks out everyone, i love it, i think sniper would do it a lot too)

hear me out but. Mori’s character design is really, really good. most characters in bsd have some sort of eccentricity to them. And in creating a design for the leader of the Port Mafia, most people would go wild and make him have some unique aspect of his appearance to make him stand out. But Mori’s really Just Some Guy. I mean that in the way that he could walk by anyone on the street and no one would look twice. He’s literally just some mildly aged man.

and that’s really great character design. him being such a normal and unassuming guy makes him so much more of a threat. You’d never suspect him.

If you run into him and then try to describe him to your coworkers, what do you say? “Yeah he’s a guy of average height.. black hair… in his 40s? he was wearing a black suit with a black coat.” Well you’ve just described half the people in your city, good luck narrowing that down to your suspect.

everyone else could be easily described in one sentence and everyone would know who you’re talking about. “The guy with the bandages” “kid with white hair and a really bad haircut” “guy who dresses like he’s cosplaying Sherlock Holmes”

with Mori, the most identifiable thing he’s got is his red scarf, and he doesn’t even wear that all the time. When he’s outside of the mafia, half the time he’s cosplaying as a doctor.

not a single person in Yokohama would suspect that he’s the mafia’s boss.

you're absolutey correct anon i'm probably gonna lose like a hundred followers for saying this but i actually rly like mori and find him an intriguing and well written character. that doesn't mean i condone his actions but tbh the bsd fandom tends to concentrate on that one aspect as if literally every other character isn't problematic💀💀 its bsd guys. no one is good.

feels weird when writers have the Batfam lowkey dehumanize Danny but it's like never addressed, like they're 100% ok comparing a traumatized child to a feral animal they're trying to tame

Like ik dehumanization is a big trope in these fics but it feels so weird for the heroes (and eventual family) to do it and never address "hey it's a lil fucked up we're comparing this clearly abused homeless child to a rabid animal"

i'm not gonna tell people to ignore their intuition cuz 1: that's hella unsafe cuz intuition can be useful 2: it doesn't really help either party if you try to force yourself to befriend someone you Just Don't Like. but like.

i think a lot of times when neurotypicals mention like "i don't know what it is about that person, they just weird me out" the thing that they're subconsciously picking up on is just... autism.

like, just existing with autism feels like i am constantly exuding the social equivalent of the uncanny valley effect. growing up autistic felt like i was walking around with a face that looked like a haunted doll. and i learned all the tricks to make my face less scary to others, to cover it up, to over-compensate and make myself seem friendly and inviting in spite of the face. and it helped and people don't quite mock or revile me like they used to. but i still worry that there's still something about me that makes people seem to avoid me, often without them even consciously noticing they're doing it. and it's no one's fault but it just kinda sucks.

at least there are my fellow haunted dolls out there who understand. who don't see my porcelain face as something vaguely Wrong, who just see a face like theirs.

I love that their both stinky old men who love each other but in a quiet private way but clearly drive each other nuts. I love the idea of Edward helping Crane recovery after Crocs attack and still loving him with him now having acquired disabilities (dude can clearly barely walk and is clearly quiet blind now) and scarred - love without the requirement of being in good health or looking the same way for ever. Real timeless love ya know?
