Sony in negotiations to purchase Kadokawa

Anime and Manga fans know that Kadokawa is a hell of a lot more than just the publisher of Elden Ring. Although this WOULD give Sony 69.6% ownership of FromSoftware.

But Kadokawa is also they're a manga/anime/gaming giant that owns tons of franchises and companies. Given that Sony already owns Aniplex and CrunchyRoll, this would further solidify Sony's massive control of anime properties.

Browsing HyperCard stacks on our RP2350-based Fruit Jam 🍏📂

With a little more tweaking, we've got a nice big 12MB disk image loading into our Pico-Mac port https://github.com/jepler/pico-mac/tree/rp2350-fruitjam to the Fruit Jam https://www.adafruit.com/product/6200 — that 16MB of internal flash is coming in super useful now!

That means not only can we run System 6 but also install some nice software like HyperCard https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HyperCard !

As kids, we loved playing and making HyperCard stacks, so it's neat to see that we can still navigate the classics on an RP2350. Many stacks have music or sound effects, so we'll revisit these once we get audio playback working.

My worker firmware works! It flashed itself over, now just to add some roll back, security, and validation features. But effectively this means I never have to plug in another ESP32 to send them firmware. I can just tell them to post to MQTT from the worker firmware for logging and post the firmware binary to my local file server. This makes my life so much easier while building out this mesh of meshes multi-protocol com lib. Hell yeahhh

alright the people have spoken, here's more on the Death PACT rpg :3

its most likely in a mix of Final Fantasy and I'd say closer to Deltarune in combat style. It would be turn based with a party of four that is interchangeable. Although I don't think that there would be the dodging attacks mechanic that Deltarune/Undertale. But given that its Death PACT, there would be a spare/pacify meter. I'm not entirely sure that they could actually kill the enemies(except maybe Pillow, Pillow would absolutely kill).

Speaking of which, it would contain all of the members of Death PACT. Although not all would be required. There would be fun quests and some would allow you to get Liy, Pie, Lightning, and Remote and even Pin and Gaty would be put behind quests. The starting members would be Black Hole, Tree, Fanny, and Marker, with getting Pillow, Bottle, and Pen throughout the story.

I don't think it would be a very long game, I'm still working on the story right now, but thats what I've got for now! Lmk what you think on it :3

you know i just realized that the unity fee is for every time someone installs YOUR game that YOU made with unity. all this time i thought it was for every install of the unity engine itself. i thought this because the alternative seemed so far out of pocket, so absurdly ridiculous and blatantly evil that my mind did not even consider it. what the absolute fuck.
