2018 newsies fandom. we weren't overly close but we bonded over race and albert a little and then katya dropped off the face of the earth for about a year.

during 2020 lockdown we both independently got into the witcher fandom and somehow ran into eachother again and had the fingers pointing OH MY GOD Y O U !!! moment in our dms. we bonded over hating jaskier. during this time we realized we were both dancers and katya was looking at dance colleges, i was already in college for dance and since it was lockdown and we couldn't go anywhere i told katya my experience auditioning at places to give him a good idea of places. and then i broke every internet safety rule known to man and said hey what if you had applied to my college but didnt know it?? and then one thing led to another and i dished out all the tea on my school. (only After that did we face reveal and give eachother our names lol) and then katya applied. mostly as a joke. until it wasnt a joke because that school gave katya a shit load of money and actually had stuff katya wanted to do. katya ended up coming to one of my zoom ballet classes and it took everything we had to not loose our shit on camera.

during this time we mostly kept eachother sane in lockdown writing witcher fanfic, and sending eachother awful thirst traps on instagram to pitbull music. one of our awful bits was using the dilf filter to make bad frat boy edits.

come august of 2021 we both moved into college. the same college. in the same building. it was wild. i pinched myself several times in shock. we went on a walk around campus with some worms on strings and were like what the hell how did we get here.

we continued to hang out and did weird insane things together. we took a class on the french revolution together where i had to put up with katya and fennec awkwardly flirting (read: making finger guns at eachother).

and then, since i was 2 years older, i was graduating and was going to stay in the area for a job and was like hey. what if we got an apartment together? and then we did. several adults agreed to this. idk why they let us. but now we live together in a real life apartment and we haven't even killed eachother yet. neither of our parents know that we met online. each of them have a different fake story as to how we know eachother and we really just hope they are never in the same room long enough to ask eachother about it. but its insane. 12/10 would recommend.

The current WIP I have is based completely on spite. That’s it. I absolutely hated how the Lamia episode ended because. BECAUSE. BECAUSE.

You’re telling me after they kill the Lamia, everything is back to normal and perfectly fine between everyone. You’re telling me Merlin was actively threatened by some of the people he trusted the most, to the point he actually started COWERING a little when they got mad at him, and he walked out of that without even a little bit of emotional distress? A smidgeon of trauma? You’re telling me none of the knights apologized to him or to Guinevere, because even though it’s not their fault every single one of them would have still felt some form of guilt over scaring them like that, you’re TELLING ME—

It made me so MAD that it got wrapped up with everyone in good spirits and Arthur making fun of Merlin for being saved by a girl, and everything was fine and happy and ARGHHHH.

So yeah I started writing a fic to expand on what I feel should’ve happened after that episode I guess? Except make it a Merthur AU where they’ve been dancing around their feelings for all four seasons up until this point.

I’ve been going back and forth on this draft for a bit, so there’s a good chance whatever I end up publishing to AO3 will look COMPLETELY different. It’s also very clunky and not well edited but I figure that’s a given right now lol. Both options start the same before splitting into two different drafts, currently labeled D1 and D2 respectively.

I’ll dump a few snippets below the cut since this is already looking like a long post. Everything so far is in Arthur’s POV.

From the shared start: Set when Arthur shows up just in time to rescue Guinevere and Merlin from the Lamia.

A few seconds of silence stretched out before Arthur jerked forward and rushed to Merlin’s side.

“Better late than never.” Merlin groaned, but that stupid, goofy grin that Arthur loved more than he’d ever admit was plastered all over that smug face of his. “What took you so long?”

“You’re welcome.” Arthur said pointedly. Guinevere moved to help Merlin sit up, and the king didn’t miss the way his servant’s face twisted into a pained grimace, or how his hand quickly grabbed at his side. It hurt to see Merlin in any kind of pain, a dull ache in his chest that was somehow worse than anything Arthur had suffered in the past. “Are you hurt?”

“A little bruised, maybe.” Merlin leaned heavily against Guinevere. “Better off than everyone else though.” He added quickly, and Arthur’s eyes narrowed slightly.

“Do you know where they are?” The king wanted to ask an entirely different question, but their objective held priority. They were safe, the lamia was dead, and the others were still missing.

“Elyan isn’t far.” Guinevere loosened her hold on Merlin—reluctantly, Arthur noted—and moved him to lean against a pillar. “I’m not entirely sure about the others.”

Arthur straightened up, gesturing for one of the knights. “Bevan, help Merlin outside. Cecil, with me.” He ordered. The king glanced towards his servant once again briefly before he extended his hand to Guinevere and helped her to her feet. “Lead the way.”

From the corner of his eye, he could see Bevan gathering Merlin up into his arms and hefting him up into the air. The man made a soft, pained sound in the back of his throat that was horribly loud to Arthur’s ears. Carefully with him, or I’ll have you in the stocks lingered on the tip of his tongue, but he bit back his words and turned to follow Guinevere. Bevan’s receding footsteps faded, and they pressed onward.

“He’ll be alright.” Guinevere murmured to him. She reached over to lightly squeeze his arm, a small comfort for the moment.

“Mm, he better be.” Arthur said quietly in reply. “He’s a good friend, I’d hate to lose him.” They ducked under a fallen beam, and Arthur lapsed into a contemplative quiet. Merlin was so much more than just a friend to Arthur, something he’d struggled to admit to himself for a long time. What he was, however, was just out of reach.

So in typical fashion the king did what he always did best—try his damndest to ignore what he felt, because it could never come to be.

From D1, which is set as everyone leaves Longstead. Merlin is preparing Arthur’s horse before they leave despite still recovering from his injuries, man is just insisting on staying busy.

The king watched Merlin from afar as the servant busied himself with tacking up Arthur’s steed. He couldn’t look away, even if he wanted to.

Slightly curled raven locks and pale cheeks dappled with sunlight, Merlin’s brow furrowed slightly in concentration. His slender, pale hands deftly checked the leather straps, and his fingers occasionally strayed away to brush against the stallion’s ebony coat. A faint smile finally appeared in its truest and most genuine form as the horse turned its head to bump its nose gently against Merlin’s shoulder with a soft nicker. Arthur watched as Merlin finished securing the saddle and turned to gently take the horse’s face in his hands, rubbing his palm up and down the side of its head in slow, soothing strokes. Beautiful, he couldn’t help but think. That traitorous feeling of longing welled up in his chest and Arthur found himself tempted across the small clearing to join the servant.

Almost immediately, the longing was replaced with guilt and a hefty dose of self-loathing. Merlin was in no small amount of distress, and here he was practically ogling at the man. He turned away before Merlin could catch him staring and searched the clearing for something he could busy himself with, and hopefully rid himself of the shame that had overtaken the king.

From D2, which is set directly after Arthur, Merlin, Guinevere, and the knights return to the village so Gaius can treat them: Gaius and Guinevere are busy with the knights, so Arthur takes it upon himself (as any good king no would do, of course) to try and tend to Merlin’s wounds himself. The best he can do is clean the gash on Merlin’s forehead, but he’s trying his best okay?

Far and few between were times that Arthur Pendragon found himself worried about his manservant. Merlin was an odd man, clumsy and strange at the best of times, prone to bouts of misfortune that he’d somehow miraculously overcome. Injuries were as rare as sickness, and he was right there at Arthur’s side day after day. Yet here he was, sleeves rolled up and a damp cloth in hand as he worried over Merlin. Thankfully the only ones around to see it were Gaius and Guinevere—the knights were still unconscious, and the physician and seamstress were busy tending to them.

It was just Arthur and Merlin, tucked away in the corner of the little hovel they were using as an infirmary.

“This feels backwards.” His servant muttered, wincing as Arthur lightly pressed the cloth to his forehead. Blood soaked into it quickly, weeping from a shallow cut on the side of his face that looked far worse than it actually was—head wounds were funny like that. And yet after all these years, after countless battles where he’d seen wounds worse than this over and over, seeing Merlin bloodied and bruised always made his heart lurch. It was so wrong.

“It does, doesn’t it?” Arthur mused, pulling the cloth back to inspect the injury. There wasn’t exactly much he could do other than try to stem the blood flow and clean away any dirt and debris until Gaius could take a proper look at it, but it was something.

He could feel Merlin’s eyes boring into him. “You’ll live, unfortunately.” Arthur added after a moment, flashing his teeth at the servant in a brief grin.

“Unfortunately for me, yes.” Merlin sank back against the cot. “I’ll be back to cleaning your stinking socks within the next few days.” His eyes remained affixed to Arthur, half-lidded and tired, and for the briefest of moments his face betrayed him to his king. Something heavy weighed on him, his gaze reflecting the burden of Atlas; then Arthur blinked, and it was like it hadn’t even been there in the first place.

What a strange thing to see on Merlin’s face.

Nobody asked but here’s a a few reasons why I’m personally not a fan of Vampire Toast.

Most of these are just opinion. Please don’t lose your shit please lol/lh (warning: not too serious and extremely biased/silly)

He was already a werewolf once. And we didn’t get closure on how that turned out. Give us more on that before you pull this on us 😭

Friday Night Funkin: Hate it or love it, you can’t deny there are some amazing individuals out there! And for you modders out there, this game is actually heavily moddable- and one mod in particular was what caused FNF to blow up in the first place! This is actually the fandom I’m hyper fixating on right now-

Undertale: Ah yes, the funny skeleton man fandom /j /lh But seriously, this fandom isn’t all “Sans Fangirls”- just search up animations and artwork! Or, better yet- search up a full play through of the game (I recommend this order for newcomers- Neutral, Pacifist, Genocide) and let the story and gameplay do the talking! ^^

Spoilers ahead!!! So be warned!

-Getting straight to the point this man is a raging Lee!

-He's a Grumpy, Stoic, Lee!

-Mr "I hate humans" yeah right okay you must "hate tickling" too huh? Lee! /lh /nsrs

-Honestly he didn't know what tickling was at first but eventually he learned from his goyles and well that was it he liked it ever since

-He wouldn't tell a soul of course! but it's clear to see

-When he had his powers and was creating the ("immatation crab men") *cough* *cough* mutants sorry! /j /lh /pos He thought he was untouchable but the turtles showed him pretty quickly that he was as fragile as the flowers he could grow

-The only ones who really knew and would tickle him every now and again were Huginn and Muninn and even then it was rare for Draxum to get physical touch

-Now once he lost his power and most of his physical form and Mikey took him in he got a lott more tickles then

-Dr Positive really comes through in this situation (aka Mikey)

-Mikey, slowly but surely, got him back to being okay with physical touch again and once he accidentally revealed that he was ticklish he was doomed

-Mikey tickles him the most but most of the boys and Splinter use that as their way of getting back at him

-When tickling him Leo loves to give the excuse of "you threw me off a roof, you deserve this" it works every time he "complains" about it

-He's mostly ticklish on his stomach, that's why his old armor covered that area the most (also to not get hurt of course but still)

-Mikey is the most gentle, Splinter is not allowed near him, Leo is playful, Raph is in the middle it depends on the day, Donnie doesn't want to get involved but if he does he'll use his tech and April is also playful

-Honestly once they take him down a few pegs he's sweet

-Surprisingly full of giggles when tickled, of course his stomach is full on laughter but everywhere else it's giggle city

Speaking of Ikevamp OCs!! Admittedly, I don’t know much about Freud, Salieri or Chaloner (from the other reblog posts), so I decided to look into them if I have the time >:D I MIGHT give a history lesson about them later--

I’ve also tried to make a comprehensible list of characteristics/things we’ve already got about Beethoven (who *cough* is already like,, half an OC if you squint-) And I’ve added some things of my own. As of right now, his Ikevamp self:

-Is headstrong, strong-willed, and proud

-Is impulsive, independent, and has a short temper

-Is a Grumpy Old Man™ with Grandpa Tendencies™ /aff

-Has a sharp tongue for insults and comebacks

-Values honesty, integrity, and virtue. He hates liars

-Really respects Mozart and hates Napoleon (lol-)

-Not afraid to speak his opinion, so if he doesn’t like you, you WILL know-

-Likes macaroni-and-cheese. I won’t elaborate. /J

-Loves walks in the forest and nature in general! He enjoys taking hikes, it’s a hobby of his :D During these walks, he’s able to clear his head and be inspired by the beauty of nature. He takes a walk around, even if the weather is bad. There was a time where he circled around in a park for hours, humming and composing in his head in pouring rain…

-If he ever were in the game, maybe he would be partially deaf?? Or at least have some hearing problems to pay homage to the real figure—

-Is pretty short,, He’s 5’3/162cm, so he’s grumpy AND short. The best combination /j /lh

I actually read the love letters he sent, and to my surprise, they’re,,, incredibly romantic?! Like legit, love letters are very private things to read in the first place, but even when I was reading his letters, I was like “Should I really be reading these…?” Asdfghjkl— His most famous love letter is the one called “The Immortal Beloved.”

-He’s short, but his aura, appearance and demeanour make him give off the vibe that he’s taller

-Wavy middle-length to long length darkish-brown hair he keeps in a low ponytail

-He wears a red jacket! Admittedly, while the colour is a tie-in to the red of the German flag, I feel like it makes him stand out more,, He dresses up very modestly

-Piercing blue eyes framed by round glasses (Ngl, I debated giving him half-moon glasses, but I went with round ones-)

-Overall, he looks pretty stern and intimidating

⎼ makes excuses that place the blame on himself when you get a migraine while you’re spending time with friends so you don’t feel bad about going home

JSCHLATT

⎼ encourages you to do literally anything you think might help. you need your entire body to be covered in a heat pack? he’ll shove you into a warm bath with your clothes on. your light sensitivity is kicking your ass? he’ll wrap a bandana around your head. your clothes feel gross and uncomfy? that’‘s fine! he’ll throw all his comfiest clothes in the dryer for 10 minutes for you so they’re nice and cozy when you put them on

⎼ also tries to help remedy your triggers. you haven’t been drinking enough water? force feeds you pedialyte and gatorade. you haven’t eaten enough? begs dream to make your favorite or doordashes whatever sounds good to you

⎼ if your meds stop working, he’ll let you use however much of his weed you need to not suffer anymore

GEORGE

⎼ totally encourages you to sleep it off and definitely doesn’t use it as an excuse to nap with you

⎼ kind of teases you about it because he doesn’t quite understand the concept of migraines but, when all’s said and done, he helps you take care of yourself and gets you what you need

⎼ after knowing you for so long he’s learned to tell when you feel a migraine coming on by the way you interact with other people, and he knows that you won’t leave calls even if you have a migraine because you hate missing out on stuff, so he’ll just tell everyone to shut up so it’s at least easier on you

DREAM

⎼ he won’t notice until something you do catches his attention, and then he gives a little “aw, honey,” pulls you into a hug, and very quietly asks what he can do to help

⎼ doesn’t give a single shit who else is around or what’s happening, if dream even has an inkling that you have a migraine coming on, he’s throwing you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes and forcing you to lay down in his bed so you can be as comfy as possible

⎼ another one who gets you whatever you need as soon as you ask for it, no questions asked. mans worries too much. you don’t like the light? all the lights off, lightbulbs out so that no one can accidentally turn the lights on while you’re having an attack. no more light ever again (he’s dramatic, you saw the fnaf stream /lh). your clothes are uncomfy? pick any one of his hoodies that you want, he’ll even stick it in the dryer for you so it’s nice and toasty warm. hungry? any food he can possibly remember you enjoying, he’s making it. you’re too warm? ice bath, immediately. you don’t think you’ve been drinking enough water? you’re drinking every single electrolyte drink he has in his kitchen

NIKI NIHACHU

⎼ pulls you into a hug and pets your hair without a second thought, and very quietly whispers “i’m so sorry you’re in pain, what can i do to help?”

⎼ helps you find home remedies for your nausea and, when that doesn’t help, holds your hair back for you when you get sick

⎼ definitely way better at helping you through the frustration and more emotional components of migraines than the others. holds you when you cry, listens when you ramble, and helps you calm down because she knows that crying makes it hurt worse

⎼ sticks with you for all the time that you’re awake during your migraine. holds ice packs to your head when you feel too week to, gently reminds you to relax your muscles, makes sure you feel listened to, and tries to do easy little things with you that don’t require a lot of effort so you don’t feel bad; she knows that shit can feel really isolating

MINX

⎼ first, she absolutely makes sure you take your meds if you need to because they’re there to help you feel better

⎼ another one that would wear sunglasses around the house or out and about with you so that you don’t feel weird about it; she thinks it’s actually a cool main character moment to wear sunglasses inside /lh

⎼ when you’re really emotional and in lots of pain she’ll sit with you and rub your arms and trace circles into your knees. if you need more physical attention, she’ll let you press your forehead into her shoulder while she hums and shushes you

WILBUR SOOT

⎼ mostly just makes sure that you take your meds and drinking enough water, and snacking if you need to

⎼ plays you songs on his guitar and sings you to sleep when you’re having trouble relaxing enough to squeeze in a nap

⎼ absolutely would hold your hair back for you when you get sick and rub circles into your back, assuring you that it’s okay

⎼ lets you sprawl out on his bed covered in ice and heat packs - he honestly doesn’t give a shit what you need to do to feel better when you’re having an attack as long as it helps

⎼ doesn’t want you to feel excluded or isolated so he’ll set up camp on the floor next to you with a gatorade and some crackers and his laptop and, very quietly, play a chill podcast so it still feels like you guys are hanging out

King of Reassurance. he knows how easy it can be to get stuck on the idea that you’re a burden and assumes it’s worse if you experience chronic pain as intense as migraines, so he doesn’t hesitate to assure you that you’re not a burden to him in any way. he’s really grateful for any time he can spend with you at all, whether you have a migraine or not
