Toronto Maple Leafs All-Star defenseman Morgan Rielly and Olympic Gold Medalist Tessa Virtue! Super down to earth and cool people! We are huge Leafs fans and sponsors of minor hockey here at YCL, so we were extremely honored to provide the structural engineering design for the complete renovation of their beautiful new home in the city!

I was a very rare specimen (a rosy maple moth) at ECCC a couple of weeks ago! I crocheted the dress and hat and beaded them as well. I still have a few things to do to make the costume complete, but I am happy with my progress so far! The wings were made by a local designer (Samantha Rei)

Ik it's a doodle, but her basic tldr is that she very much adores makeup, and does her own fashion/sewing, and is a freelance artist even if she's blind, and she's based off a rosy maple moth so like lots of pinks and yellows/lh x3

The rosy maple moth fairy fit had its debut at the New York renaissance faire yesterday!!! I had a great time despite the rain!!

I also got a bunch of sweet gifts from people who liked my costume 🥹 including the sweetest little girl who gave me the keychain and I almost cried ugh

as much as i love my femininity and being hyper femme and wearing dresses as often as i can, i've realized i've slipped into over-committing to the bit. like i'm allowed to be masc and i'm allowed to want to be masc and i shouldn't be trying to mold myself to fit a single aesthetic because the thing about being human is that you are one but also many.

What if May dressed up as Supergirl and took on the mantle, “Super May”? Feel free to reply back if you have a drawing you’d like to show me. The only thing is, May’s only super powers while wearing the Supergirl outfit would by flying, invulnerability, super speed, super strength, and being able to breathe underwater and in Space without losing oxygen. Her Pokemon should be able to replicate Superman and Supergirl’s other powers. In fact, May would have a utility belt added to her outfit to hold her Pokeballs.

granted, this is not quite a fair comparison given that a) I’m taking the highlight color of my arm and b) the white paint is more eggshell than true white but counterpoint. I look like I’m rendered in greyscale. I look like I’m glowing. I look like someone’s caricature of a gamer who hasn’t seen the sun in 3 years
