Occupation: Green Lantern Trainee, Pilot of the Titans, Superhero, Member of the Titans
Affiliation: Green Lantern Corps, Titans
Species: Human
Biography:
Martin Jordan II was the grandson of the late pilot, Martin Jordan I. Born to Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris. Currently 15, he was among the many teenagers captured by the Light and turned over to the Citadel to be forcefully experimented on to become a metahuman. Only to be saved when Lian Harper broke out of the control of the Female Furies, and saved him along with the other captives to escape.
After Lian teleported back to Earth when a few captives were killed, Martin was one of the few survivors stuck in the Citadel. While fending off against the Gordarian army, he was once again aided, but this time it was a Tamaranean Green Lantern, Lumian'dr (Moonfire in translation).
Lumian'dr was injured from her previous fight against Parademons that were mutated. And she told Martin and the other teens to run. But Martin stubbornly saved Lumian'dr from a pack of Gordarians before they can reach her and carried her to safety, disregarding his own.
While Martin tried to help the Tamaranean that saved him, Lumian'dr was beyond saved, but she felt a strong sense of will in Martin as the ring also does. Lumian'dr chose Martin as her successor, seeing the resemblance between him and his father, who is her predecessor, the late Hal Jordan. Realizing that the person she selected was her predecessor's son. Lumian'dr died after giving Martin the ring.
And with that, Martin became a Green Lantern. Later on, he was befriended by Superboy II, and later, Nightstar, the adoptive sister and protege of Moonfire. Together, the three escaped with the remaining captives.
After he, Superboy and Nightstar become members of the Titans. Martin had some trouble creating constructs with the ring. Nightstar offers to train with Martin, as she had warrior training before Lumian'dr died. The two became fast friends. He also befriended a Xudarian Green Lantern, Tomar Tu, after he also became a member of the Titans, following Kilowog's suspicion on the Daxamite that entered the Science Prison.
Aqualad II, the leader of the Titans appointed Martin as the Ace Pilot of the Storm Shark, a ship the Titans used for transportation. After seeing his piloting skills.
Martin did not have much memory of his parents, but had a photograph of them to know who they are and what they looked like. And did not know of his father's history with the Green Lantern Corps and the Justice League. But that would lead him to be targeted in the future.
Personality:
Having survived the invasion of Apokolips, Martin learned skills of being a a survivalist. And pretty much handles things on his own. Due to his lack of involvement from relatives after his parents disappeared, Martin was used to being alone.
But his skills of survival are proven to be useful, such a setting up a campfire, hotwiring the car when it is needed to go to one place to another.
His social interaction with the fellow new gen heroes, prior to becoming a Green Lantern, he was mostly silent since he was still used to be alone surviving the apocalypse. And seemed to be interested in physical activities like boxing, lifting weights.
However, his will and heart is in the right place, despite being stubborn at times. Sometimes he would have to abandon orders to save his comrades. Having to meet Nightstar, he grew close to her and would confide in her at times. Treating her with respect.
When interacting with younger teammates, such as Jon Kent or Damian Wayne, he would refer to any of them as "kid." Despite being young himself.
Though he had not know Lumian'dr well, she inspired him to continue the fight against Apokolips. And Martin decided that he will honor her without vain. As wielding the ring his father, Hal once wield.
However, Martin wasn't sure if he has the right to wield the ring. His own conflict was his own self-identity. Having to endure the pressures of the fight in the war. Even if Martin was upset that his father never told him before his fate was sealed. Martin knew he had to accept his destiny as a Green Lantern. Hearing his father's message through the ring, Martin grew to respect his father's bravery and will, after learning he was Lumian'dr's predecessor.

I think one of the biggest ideas around Parallax and what he represents is the idea of control. In the early 90s, Hal's main focus was regaining control over his own life by returning to what he perceives as his glory days: he's back near Coast City again, he's friends with Tom again, and he wants to be with Carol again. As he says in Green Lantern (1990) #25, "My name is Hal Jordan. I used to be the Green Lantern of Earth. Now I'm coming back. Coming to take my life back." Green Lantern (1990) is all about setting Hal back to the status quo-Green Lantern lore had been shaky throughout the 80s and now we're establishing the Guardians back in the known universe, the Green Lantern Corps is rebuilding itself, and finally, halfway through Gerard Jones run, Hal is reestablishing himself on Earth.
I think a necessary bit of knowledge around the destruction of Coast City is that Hal was not set there for a long time. He worked out of Coast City for the first 49 issues of his original solo title, and then afterwards would only be in Coast City for a few issues of a time. In fact, he probably worked out of L.A. longer than he did Coast City. Coast City is a very old form of nostalgia at this point in time.
Throughout the main Green Lantern title up until Green Lantern (1990) #45 and his appearances in the two side Green Lantern titles (Guy Gardner: Warrior and Green Lantern: Mosaic, both of which were also written by Jones), a narrative begins to appear. Hal is desperate for control and unwilling to return to the uncertainty and moral ambiguity of the 80s. This is his main conflict, in fact, with John and Guy during this era. He has his very certain ideas of what a hero should be and what a hero should do, and he enforces that ideal not only on himself, but also on Guy and John. In fact, Sinestro himself says, "But aren’t Hal and I just different sides of the same thing? Control, control, control?" (Green Lantern: Mosaic #15). The comparison to Sinestro is most interesting in light of the renewed focus on Sinestro's dictatorship due to Green Lantern: Emerald Dawn II. Comics throughout this time are trying to have Hal emulate some of the most dangerous aspects of Sinestro: his desperate need for control, for order instead of focusing on justice.
Now, one underappreciated aspect of the destruction of Coast City is that it happened while Hal was not on Earth. He was on the opposite side of the galaxy, being mind controlled and declaring he wouldn't be anyone's puppet again. He had lost control-the one thing he had been so desperate to keep, and then he returns home.
Home was not there. Everyone he knew and loved within this city, everyone who trusted him to protect them, was dead. This is a continued loss of control, and this time it is in violation of what a hero should be. A hero should protect his city, a hero should do anything to protect his city. He even mentions in Green Lantern (1990) #46, the issue where he first learns of the tragedy, "part of the anger-pain wants to wash out. To use the ring to bring it all back." He's angry. He has lost the one thing he was sure of. He tries to kill Mongol. He is no longer trying to hold back.
Now skip ahead two issues to the end of Green Lantern (1990) #48. Throughout this issue, Hal has been losing the veneer of being in control. We know from Guy Gardner: Warrior #21 that he was in there for 18 hours. We don't see his full mental breakdown, but what we do see is him slowly losing control. At the beginning, we have as close to reality as the issue gets: Martin Jordan not caring about him and then going off to get blown up. Hal acts like he's not in control at this moment, as he says, "Please, come back. I can't go through that again" (Green Lantern (1990) #48). However, by the end of the issue, Hal is in full control; he evens forces the Martin projection to say he's proud of him, even though previously both Hal and the Martin projection said that he wasn't and he never had been. Then, the Guardians take his regained control away from him! They deny him of his power, what he defines himself as. He is always in his Green Lantern guise throughout the issue, even when pretending that his life is normal. They removed his control over the situation, and that is when he stops holding back.
There are two main ways Hal himself describes his actions as Parallax (pre-retcon): him having no choice but to do what he did and then him not holding back during that era. Parallax is a representation of power and what it could mean when he wasn't under the control of anyone else. He's not tearing down the messed up ideas of authority and power in his mind, merely trying to gain the most power so that he's most in control. This is about regaining control and what that means to him. It is firmly rooted in both Martin's abuse and the Guardian's abuse. Hal is a man focused on order and control, and he wants to act like abuse of power is a form of control because that's what everyone else has acted like to him. The Guardians haven't cared about the lives of the Green Lanterns. He does, or at least he believes he does. He never wanted to hurt his brothers and sisters, he claims in Green Lantern (1990) #0, he just wanted to make everything right.
The role of Parallax is firmly rooted in Hal Jordan's ideas of what is control and how to take back from a loss of it. He's continuing the tradition of the so-called greatest Green Lanterns of them all (Sinestro and Yalan Gur, both of who tried to use their power to enforce their control and were directly compared to Hal in this manner pre Parallax). He is Parallax. He is everything Hal could be if he stopped holding back. He is control, and the way Hal feels like that means he has no choice but to abuse and hurt others in the quest for control, justice, and order.

Kissinger: Allowing Migrants in Europe was a Grave Mistake Blog/War Posted Oct 18, 2023 by Martin Armstrong
Where will the displaced people go when their homes are destroyed during this senseless war? No Arab nation has offered to take in Palestinian refugees. They fear the US and West knocking on their door too as the enemy hides behind the civilians. Henry Kissinger recently came out and said that Europe made a “grave mistake.”
“It was a grave mistake to let in so many people of totally different culture and religion and concepts, because it creates a pressure group inside each country that does that,” Kissinger stated. This comes on the heels of pro-Hamas, not pro-Palestine, protests emerging across Germany. In fact, violent protests are emerging across all of Europe. “The Middle East conflict has the danger of escalating and bringing in other Arab countries under the pressure of their public opinion,” Kissinger noted.
Egypt, Palestine’s neighbor, has made it clear that they will not permit their Arab brothers and sisters to enter. Egypt has deployed troops to its border with Palestine to ensure no one enters. King Abdullah II of Jordan also said that refugees are not welcome. “There will be no refugees in Jordan and no refugees in Egypt,” the king stated. “That is a red line, because I think that is the plan by certain of the usual suspects to try and create de facto issues on the ground,” Abdullah added. He believes Israel is trying to send residents of Gaza toward the Rafah border.
“The whole region is on the brink of falling into the abyss,” Abdullah said. “All our efforts are needed to make sure we don’t get there. We have a common goal to prevent a conflagration in the region,” the chancellor said. “I once again expressly warn Hezbollah and Iran not to intervene in this conflict.”
Now Biden is heading to the Middle East to show others how weak our nation has become politically. Blinken wants to establish safe zones for the Palestinians across the Middle East, but the leaders there are saying NO do not involve us in your war. No Arab nation will open its border to Palestinians, but the West, with a completely different standard of reality, must do its part to accept people who do not fit in their society. And then those same people later chant that they want to see the very nations that accepted them destroyed.

Back on Earth: NASA's Orion capsule put to the test before crewed mission
The Orion spacecraft that traveled around the moon and back during 2022's Artemis I mission completed a different round trip when it recently returned to Ohio for testing.
Now known as the Orion Environmental Test Article, the spacecraft is undergoing ground testing at NASA's Neil Armstrong Test Facility in Sandusky, Ohio. This testing is crucial to the safety and success of Artemis II—a 10-day flight test scheduled for 2025, during which four astronauts will demonstrate the spacecraft's capabilities in the lunar vicinity. The flight will be the first crewed mission under NASA's Artemis campaign.
Over the next eight months, engineers and technicians from NASA and Lockheed Martin will subject the test article to the extreme conditions Orion may experience during a launch abort scenario. The lengthy test campaign includes simulated lightning strikes and abort-level acoustics reaching levels of more than 160 decibels, louder than a jackhammer.
It also includes deployments of the spacecraft's docking and shielding covers and its crew module uprighting system, five airbags on top of the capsule that inflate upon splashdown. The test campaign serves to ensure Orion is ready to protect the crew if an emergency occurs during launch.
This Orion spacecraft completed months of space environmental testing in 2019 and 2020 at Armstrong Test Facility before its 2022 flight test, showing that the path to the moon goes through Ohio. The test facility is the only place in the world capable of testing full-scale spacecraft in the extreme conditions experienced during launch and flight.

Hello 🌻
hope you are having fun during your holiday :)
So... I noticed in your bio you describe yourself as a film snob, and I was curious if you could put together a list of films you believe everyone should watch. It doesn't matter whether they're niche films or d'essai or blockbuster, I used to adore going to cine-forums and watch every kind of genre, they always leave you something to bring home
Thank you! <3
(Sorry for the ramble, but I'm stuck in bed for the next couple of weeks with way too much free time, and I figured I might as well put it to good use! xD )
Ohhh my god, Ari, you have no idea just how badly I wanna hug you right now. Films and filmmaking are one of my special interests and I could literally talk your ear off about the industry!
Please keep in mind that these are just my personal picks/opinions, and I am almost certainly forgetting a few because I'm doing this off of memory. I'm also not including any films that I haven't seen yet (there are a few classics that I embarrassingly just somehow never got around to seeing that are currently in my watchlist) so if you notice any strange omissions that's why. Please keep in mind that I tend to prefer dark, pessimistic films, so this list is going to reflect that.
If you'd like specific recommendations, wish for me elaborate anymore on any of these films, or want a part 2 to this, please let me know!
Also, I recently got a Letterboxd account back in December, so if you want to see what I've been watching recently, give me a follow over there!
Under a read more because this got LONG.

My 2023 reading list
I'm not sure why I'm sharing this. 40 books is more than double my average number for a year, but I don't really believe in book count as a useful stat. I rolled all the fanfic up into one item, but I counted each reread of my daughter's favorite as one 😁
Anathem is starred because it was my favorite, although it's honestly too hard to choose between that and the Silmarillion.
Anyway. I don't know. I just like keeping track.
Space Raptor Butt Invasion/Turned Gay by the Living Alpha Diner - Chuck Tingle
Richard II - William Shakespeare
Killers of the Flower Moon - David Grann
No Filter - Paulina Porizkova
The Future of Another Timeline - Annalee Newitz
You Look Like A Thing and I Love You - Janelle Shane
One Last Stop - Casey McQuiston
Henry IV part 1 - William Shakespeare
Spare - Prince Harry
Learning the Tarot - Joan Bunning
Clean Architecture - Robert C. Martin
Poetry of Petrarch
Gender Queer - Maia Kobabe
Will in the World - Stephen Greenblatt
Rocannon's World - Ursula K. LeGuin
Planet of Exile - Ursula K. LeGuin
City of Illusions - Ursula K LeGuin
The Three Body Problem - Liu Cixin (reread)
Old Babes in the Wood - Margaret Atwood (read most)
The Left Hand of Darkness - Ursula K LeGuin
Fugitive Telemetry (Murderbot #6) - Martha Wells
Circe - Madeline Miller
A Study in Scarlet - Arthur Conan Doyle
The Sign of the Four - Arthur Conan Doyle
Anathem - Neal Stephenson *
This Is How You Lose the Time War - Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone
Exhalation - Ted Chiang
Camp Damascus - Chuck Tingle

Best Wishes - Sarah Mlynowski (aloud to P****)
Frankenstein - Mary Shelley
More stories and poetry of Poe
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe - C. S. Lewis (aloud to P****)
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe - C. S. Lewis (yes, again lol, aloud)
Winter's Heart - Robert Jordan (WoT 9)
The Silmarillion - J.R.R. Tolkien
Rebecca - Daphne du Maurier (reread)
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe - C. S. Lewis (yes, again lol, aloud)

A little companion to my justice league interpretation. The Justice League Civil War that leads to birth of the Justice League Detroit. I mentioned this in my earlier post, but here's the full story:
Justice League Civil War: Batman gets paranoid and tries to coup the league. He gets a few other league members who are angry to join him (plus he brainwashes the Red Tornado) and leads a war on the JLA. He manages to blow up the watchtower and captures all the league members besides Martian Manhunter, who stops him in the nick of time. So here's the factions for that (with notes on the fates of each of the betrayers):
The League Loyalists:
Superman (Clark Kent/Kal-El)
Wonder Woman (Diana of Themyscira/Diana Prince)
The Flash (Barry Allen)
Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
Martian Manhunter (J'onn J'onzz): J'onn was back on mars during the conflict, but he saves the league later. So he's a loyalist.
Hawkman (Carter Hall)
Hawkgirl (Shiera Sanders-Hall)
Firestorm (Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein)
Batman's Coup (the rebellion):
Batman (Bruce Wayne): Fate: Expelled from the League on an indefinite hiatus. Possibly also taken to court for endangering lives. His reputation is ruined on the world stage too.
Aquaman (Orin/Arthur Curry): Aquaman feels like the people of Atlantis are being disrespected by the surface dwellers. And the other league members do nothing to reassure him that Atlantis is cared about. So when Batman steps in and promises to make Atlantis more respected when he runs the league, Aquaman can't resist and agrees to join Batman's coup attempt. Fate: Aquaman is suspended from the team, but he would be allowed to rejoin the team on a probationary basis at some point if he so desired. But Aquaman doesn't really desire that anymore. In fact, he fled to Atlantis before the league could even punish him for his actions. From now on, he will stick to his own kingdom and his own affairs. The surface dwellers simply do not understand.
Green Arrow (Oliver Queen): Green Arrow was tricked into joining the rebellion. He felt chafed by the strict hierarchy on the team, and wanted to knock down those divisions. Batman promised to do that once he was leader. But once Oliver sees Bruce getting progressively more and more paranoid, him and the other members of the coup still standing turn on batman. But by that point, it's too late to stop him. Fate: Because he realized the error of his ways and tried to stop batman (albeit after it was a little too late to stop him), he faces less repercussions then batman himself. He's suspended from the team and put on a probationary status when he returns. But unlike Batman, he isn't indefinitely expelled from the team.
The Atom (Ray Palmer): I heard Ray Palmer got divorced from Jean Loring, so let's roll with that. Ray takes the divorce badly, and becomes incredibly angry and bitter. This makes him eager to help batman, if only to work out his pent up anger. Batman plays him like a fiddle, you might say. Fate: Suspended from the team and put on probationary basis when he does return. Also, Ray has to attend therapy and get a decent bill of mental health before they take him back.
Black Canary II (Dinah Lance): Black Canary only joins batman's side because of her connection to Green Arrow. She was really conflicted in this conflict, and is one of the first people on Batman's side to turn against him. That just means batman ties her up and takes her captive just like the other JLA members. Fate: Same as Green Arrow. Suspended from the team and put on a probationary basis when she does return.
Elongated Man (Ralph Dibny): I'm not sure why Ralph works with Batman, but I needed to have an almost equal number of characters on both sides. So I'll figure out something later. Fate: Same fate as the others. Suspended and put on probationary basis when he does return.
Red Tornado: Red Tornado was kidnapped by Batman and brainwashed into serving him. He didn't do it of his own free will, which is incredibly messed up and unethical on Batman's part. Fate: Red Tornado was not acting of his own volition. He's accepted back to the team immediately, but he's put on a probationary status until he proves himself again.
Zatanna Zatara: Zatanna helped Batman because they're friends with a personal history. She (like most of the others in batman's rebellion) tries to stop Bruce after he's gone off the deep end and plans to turn on them too. But by that point, it's too late to stop him and his paranoid plans. Fate: Like all the others, Zatanna is suspended from the team and put on probationary status when she does return. Her career as a famous magician isn't really affected too much, although there may be a very brief dip in sales for her shows.

Hal Jordan Reading List
Tumblr media
Hal Jordan is a man of many names and many legends. He was once the Green Lanterns' best and brightest. His name and legend is written into the stars. He fell, brilliantly and terribly. He rose again as the Spirit of Vengeance, the Spirit of Redemption! He returns in the end to his place among the Green Lanterns. But to truly know the man, you must read the stories.
Most important stories are bolded and my favorites are asterisked
Origin Stories
Some of these repeat, not all are necessary but I advise reading at least Emerald Dawn/Emerald Dawn II or Secret Origins or Showcase #22
Emerald Dawn (1990), first appearance of the Martin Jordan backstory
Emerald Dawn II (1991)*, Hal is trained by Sinestro for the first time
Secret Origins (Green Lantern (2005) #29-35), Geoff Johns’ version of Hal’s backstory if reading modern Hal stuff, its important
Showcase #22*, what actually started it all
Superman: Man of Steel Annual #4*, Hal meets Clark for the first time
Secret Origins (1986) #36, Hal retells his origin to a new friend (set post Action Comics (1938) #606)
One Shots
Green Lantern Secret Files (2004) #1 “Flight”, three flights in Hal Jordan’s life*
Justice League: The Darkseid War - Green Lantern #1, Hal becomes a God and gives it up*
Green Lantern 80th Anniversary, a tribute to the Green Lanterns across the ages* (Skip Geoff’s story. You’ll thank me. Four should be read after Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #35.)
Early Days
Green Lantern (1960) #6, first appearance of Tomar-Re*
Green Lantern (1960) #7, first appearance of Sinestro*
Green Lantern (1960) #8, introduction of the Solar Director of 5780 plot*
Green Lantern (1960) #9, second appearance of Sinestro + first appearance of Hal’s brothers*
Green Lantern (1960) #13, first team-up with The Flash (Barry Allen)
Green Lantern (1960) #16, first appearance of Star Sapphire
Green Lantern (1960) #26, second appearance of Star Sapphire
Green Lantern (1960) #30, first appearance of Katma Tui*
Green Lantern (1960) #36, Hal falls in love with an alien*
Green Lantern (1960) #45, Hal and Alan team up issue*
Green Lantern (1960) #49, Hal leaves Coast City
Wanderer
Green Lantern (1960) #51, conclusion of the Solar Director of 5871 arc
Green Lantern (1960) #53, family team up issue*
Green Lantern (1960) #57, an old enemy returns
Green Lantern (1960) #63, Hal saves the world from an alien who wants to destroy it*
Green Lantern (1960) #64, Hector Hammond returns*
Green Lantern (1960) #70, Hal gets a new job + first questioning of Guardians*
Green Lantern (1960) #73-74, Hal returns to Coast City and fights Sinestro and Star Sapphire* (note: there will be a panel that will make your jaw drop in how racist it is, there’s some good meat besides that panel but that panel…its bad)
Questioning and Politics
Green Lantern/Green Arrow
Green Lantern (1960) #76-#87, #89
The Flash (1959) backup stories: #217-#219, #226
Hal’s solo backups in The Flash (1959)
The Flash (1959) #220-#225
Space Exile and Return (I frankly rec reading all of Green Lantern (1960) #133 to #200, but these are the best issues out of it)
Green Lantern (1960) #149-150, 164-170, space exile!
Green Lantern (1960) #172, Hal gets to return to Earth
Green Lantern (1960) #181, Hal quits
Green Lantern (1960) #191-192, the Predator is revealed
Green Lantern Corps (1986) (might be under Green Lantern (1960) depending on website) #220-224, Sinestro is executed (warning, this is part of Englehart glc and thus includes small references to hal/arisia, that relationship is out of character for everyone involved and I don't support it, but these issues are otherwise good)
The Return
Action Comics (1938) #606 "The List", Hal reaches out and no one responds*
Green Arrow (1988) #20, Hal goes and helps Ollie once again*
Secret Origins (1986) #50, Hal and Ollie make up from their fight (last story, only)
At this point, Hal has been wandering and questioning for years. He’s a drifter, especially since the Guardians left the Universe to go make new Oans.
Green Lantern (1990) #1-8, the reintroduction of the Corps*
Green Lantern (1990) #25, Hal and Guy fight
Green Lantern: Ganthet’s Tale, Hal learns the Guardians have been lying to him
Parallax
Superman (1987) #80, the Destruction of Coast City
Green Lantern (1990) #46, Hal fights against Mongol and speaks of hearing voices*
Green Lantern (1990) #47, Hal and Ollie team up
Green Lantern (1990) #48-50, Emerald Twilight* (if you read one thing on this list read this)
Guy Gardner: Warrior (1994) #18-21, Guy learns about the destruction of Coast City + what Hal did
Zero Hour (1994) #4-0, Hal destroys time*
Green Lantern (1990) #0, Hal and Kyle finish their fight from Zero Hour*
Green Arrow (1988) #96, Hal meets Ollie once again*
Green Lantern (1990) #61-63, Hal attempts to get Kyle’s ring back
Final Night (1996) #1-4, Hal dies to save the universe
Parallax: Emerald Night (1996) #1, read between issues #3 and #4 of Final Night, Hal looks over his life
Green Lantern (1990) #99-106, Kyle travels through time and meets Hal Jordan, in the middle of his first fight with Sinestro. Young!Hal returns to the present with Kyle.* (Read Green Arrow (1988) #136 inbetween #104 and #105, One of my favorite arcs of all time. Please read it 🥺)
The Spectre
Day of Judgment (1999) #1-5, Hal becomes the Spectre
Day of Judgment: Secret Files #1, Hal gives others the way to kill him
Legends of the DC Universe #33-#36, Hal’s first mission as the Spectre*
Green Arrow (2001) #7, Hal reveals that he’s the reason why Ollie is alive*
The Spectre (2001) #1-27
Especially read
The Spectre (2001) #1
The Spectre (2001) #5, Hal and Carol reunite*

Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #8-12, Kyle helps revives Hal while Soranik and John try to work out the Sinestro Corps-Green Lantern Corps partnership
Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #14-17, Hal and Kyle attempt to revive the Blue Lantern Corps
You can read Prism of Time and Fracture (#18-#25) but also you can chew glass. So. Soranik is evil now and Tomar-Tu killed a Yellow Lantern from Xudar named Romat-Ru. Don’t read it, it took me three days to finish those issues at a point where I was reading more than 30 issues a day.
Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #30-31, Hal meets Parallax again, this time possessing Clark Kent*
Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #33-36, the Earth GLs work together to save the Guardians
Famous Quotes- “Four legs on a table, four walls on a house, and four seats in a mustang gt. We’re the four corpsmen. You don’t screw with what works.” (Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #35)
Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #37-41, Hal is captured by Zod*
Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #42-50: Rise of the Blackstars*
The Green Lantern (2018) #1-12, Morrison writes some very interesting Hal stories
Green Lantern: Blackstars #1-3, Hal creates a perfect world*
The Green Lantern Season Two (2020) #1-12, major stories include the multiversal Green Lanterns and Carol Jordan and Hal Ferris
Present
Green Lantern (2021) #1-12, more John and Jo focused but Hal has some fun moments.
Green Lantern (2023) is currently coming out.
