Although I love tiny malnourished Mihawk challenges Rayleigh to a fight, loses and then becomes unceremoniously adopted and hold him very dear to my heart.

I do generally think that Unlike Zoro who challenges gods to back alley fights at every opportunity, Mihawk has always been very good at knowing when he’s horribly outclassed and having the patience to wait and grow stronger before challenging the world’s greatest swordsmen. There’s a reason his skin (as far as we know) is unblemished and Zoro is practically held together by scars and alcohol.

So I do think this will make it all the more devastating for him if when he loses, Zoro gives him three clean slashes down his chest to match Shanks’ jagged ones, and then doesn’t kill him. Mihawk’s never lost before at least not in any meaningful definition of the word. He’s never had lasting scars before and now he has three giant ones running across his chest, the thing he loves to show off, and he has feelings about it.

I know that Guardians' suit is straight from the comic but i like to think about. Them making the costumes. Quill being "you know what's cool? MATCHING SUITS!" And they definitely debate on the design and colour. Quill wants red. Mantis wants green. Drax wants everyone barechested. However it is they settled and they go on space adventures wearing matching shirts like asian mom tourists

Lo’ak makes Spider join the cheer team to get closer to Tsireya because she does cheer on swim team off season. But then they’re both really good at tumbling and get very competitive and into it. I haven’t decided if Tsireya is a flyer, but if she is then one time Lo’ak isn’t one of her bases they drop the stunt and she lightly brushes the ground and now Lo’ak won’t let her do any flying without him spotting at least.

Jake Sully and Tuk Sully, cheer teams number one stans. They wear matching handmade shirts to every competition. Jake thought his first cheer meet would be boring and now he’s on the side of the mat decked out in the proper colors like slapping the mat like “PULL, PULL, YEEEEES LO’AK! GET THAT, SPIDER!” Tuk screaming uncontrollably because she knows Spider just nailed that stunt because they practiced a million times in the yard with Lo’ak and Spider using Tuk as a flyer while Neteyam had a heart attack on the porch. Went to a Bear ghost concert last night. Fucking insane show I got a spot in the front right up against the stage. My eardrums are gone and my head is fucking pounding but god it was so worth it just for Rivers is a Vampire and Sirens live.

And of course the merch haul. There was a meetup with the band afterwards where I got my poster signed and a pic taken with them :)

Every once in a while, while watching or thinking about a drama set in a school, it occurs to me that the characters are going through all of the nonsense they're dealing with while wearing little blue shorts, and matching shirts with their names on them, or neatly buttoned up shirts that everyone in their major wears, like they all got best friend outfits.

And then I laugh.
