When max had found out you were pregnant 8 months into your relationship it had been a rocky path for the both of you. The questions on wether to keep it and wether we would be good parents as max travels around a lot for his job. It was a lot to take in.

Max’s career was only really just flourishing and making the decision had to be one of the toughest things. I walked into the bathroom, pregnancy tests on hand always just to be safe. I peed on the stick and god the wait felt like an eternity.

The timer went off the the test sat there in words it had said “positive” I took another 2 to be sure, all with the same reply.

I grabbed a box from the cupboard put the test inside and put a little note “to max: merry Christmas”

I saw max pick up the box I had put out last night that was labelled to him, he raised an eyebrow and then opened it. His face had dropped and then looked at mine for confirmation, i just nodded and he came over and kissed me and then my stomach

“Just like you,” Max says. You blush at the compliment and give the kitten back to your boyfriend. "Why did you buy her? Aren't two cats enough?" You mention Jimmy and Sassy, who were both sleeping in the corner of the room.

Max looks around the room. "You can never have enough cats. I love to have hundreds of them, but you also have to take care of them all, so that isn't the best option. I remember you saying you would like one more." "That was ages ago. I didn't think you would actually buy one."

Max pats his hand on the couch, signaling you to sit next to him. "I would buy anything you want. A third cat is a great addition to our little family. I should have gotten one sooner."

You couldn't help but smile at your boyfriend. He looks so happy with his cats, and you were definitely going to get him one more over a couple of weeks, maybe as a present for winning a race.

"We still have to decide on a name for this sweetheart," you said as you lay your head on Max's shoulder. "I was thinking about naming her Nala, you know, after the Lion King. She is a badass, and I am sure this little angel will be too."

 "That is a great name, love."

You’re about to take the elevator back when a door opens.

It was the Monaco Grand Prix, and you were super excited to support Max and Danny. However, luck was not on your side today; you got sick before the qualification. Despite your attempts to pretend everything was okay, your boyfriends saw through it and insisted you stay at home to rest.

Snuggled up in your fluffy blanket, you grumbled as you turned on the television to watch the qualification, still pissed that they wouldn't let you go. They are doing pretty well, securing p2 and p5 for the qualifying, which disappoints you a bit since you aren’t there to celebrate, but you were covered in joy and pride. You watch the post-quali interview, trying to contain your excitement.

Max and Danny entered the house quietly, “Schatje?” Max called out softly, you quickly ran to greet them, snuggled in your fluffy blanket, you jumped to hug him, catching them off guard.

“Missed us that much?” Danny chuckled as you rolled your eyes.

“You guys did so well today, I should have watched it” you whined.

“You could watch us next time, love” Danny smiled warmly, reassuring you that your health is much more important.

“Did you take your medicine, liefje?” Max asked softly, you tried avoiding the question, but they obviously saw through you.

“The medicine is too bitter” you whine as they give you disapproving looks.

“You need to take your medicine to get better, love” Danny tsked in disapproval.

You squealed when Max suddenly carried you to the kitchen and placed you on the countertop, while Daniel grab the medicine and some warm water for you.

“Do I reallyyyy need to take them?” You whines

“schatje” Max gave you a frown, his tone leaving no place to argue, but of course you decided to test your luck.

“I feel so much better already” you try to argue but you admit defeat at last when they give you a stern look. Despite your reluctance, it warmed your heart knowing that they care that much about you, that didn’t changed the bitter taste of the medicine though.

Daniel carried you to your shared bedroom while you hug him like a koala “am so proud of both of you” you smiled, your words filled with pride

Danny set you down gently while Max set up the diffuser, filling the room with the smell of lavender. you get comfortable in the bed while you wait for them to join you, they both change to their sleeping attire (which is just boxers) and they join you in the bed, tucking themselves in. Max is positioned on your left side while Danny is on your right.

“Goodnight, I love you” you said softly, almost a whisper

“Goodnight liefje” max mumbles, dozing off to sleep

“Goodnight, I love you too, darling” danny said in a low voice

“You don’t love me?” I turns around to stare at Max, but he is long gone

Chapter ll of Ocean eyes

Max pov

We were crossing the streets of Monaco side by side, she told me a lot about her, how her father wanted her to work with him, and how mad he got when he found that she wanted to be a doctor. The love and passion for kids, and how she wanted to open a fully free helthcare centre for all kids who need it. She told me she wanted to have a daughter, I smiled because I wanted that aswell. I told her about my life too,

“My fathers been very restrict on my education, since I’ve been karting at the age of 4, I ad to show him that’s what I really wanted. When you enter this world at such young age you have to abdicate of a lot of things. So I don’t blame him for being very severe with me” I told her as we were walking close to the marine. “Do you feel like you could have been anything else than a car driver, don’t you feel like the pressure your father gave you made you choose something that was already chosen for you?!” She asked me. I never thought of it very much “I mean sure it did but I learn to love cars that’s the only thing I know how to do well. It became my passion.. and miss y/n I’m a formula one driver, not just a car driver.” I played a little with her. And turned to look directly into her face. “You should come to one of the races”

-“is that an invitation?” She asked me with a cute smile

-“Yes, but you have to be in my garage not in Ferraris” i said making may point

-“I don’t think Charles would like that”

-“I think Charles can understand that you want to see the world champion doing his job” I said looking straight into her eyes

“How humble Mr.Verstappen” she rolled her eyes.

Y/n pov

We were talking for almost 4 hours now, I decided that it was time to go home and he decided to walk with me since Monaco was really small.

-“I really enjoy your company y/n, I think we should meet again.” I smiled at the idea of meeting him again. Even though he was kinda full of himself he had this bad boy effect that was very attractive.

-“yes I would love that” I give him a big smile, and then we exchanged numbers.

He gave me a small kiss on the cheek and said goodbye.

2 weeks passed by and still no message from him, I seemed like a teenage girl who’s boyfriend doesn’t text back in 2 days but I just couldn’t stop thinking about him. I made the mistake to search for him on social media.. he was so famous like Leclerc.. must have all the girls models he wanted he would never look at me, a doctor whose dream is to be a mom.

I decided it was better to let it go.

7 pm marked on my watch time to go home finally, that day had been exhaustive. When I heard my phone ring. I answered it and got surprised by who it was.

“Hello y/n, how are you?!” Said that unforgettable voice

“I’m fine thanks, and you?” I asked

“Yes, just wondering if you want to have dinner sometime this week”

“Yes sure, maybe on Saturday? Is that okay for you?”

-“Sure I’ll pick you up” he said “okay see you on Saturday then” I answered and hung up.

I smiled at my cellphone. I sure was looking kinda stupid because I didn’t even know the boy that well to be behaving like this.

The rest of the week pass really fast

Because usually in this time of the year kids would break a lot of members because of the falls they do on the beaches, so it was kinda chaotic all the time.

Saturday arrived and I started to be a little nervous, didn’t know if I should wear something more classy or something more simple. I choose the classy style. A satin white dress that embrace my skinny body and let my back showing. I made some waves in my hair and kept my makeup simple. I look myself in the mirror, and I felt really beautiful.

He send me a text to let me know he was already waiting for me, so I grabbed my purse and leave my apartment.

I saw him waiting for me outside a Ferrari. He looked incredible. White shirt, black pants, and the hair pulled back. Simple but very elegant.

He smiled when he saw me. “Hello y/n you look absolutely incredible” he said as he pulled me into a soft kiss on the cheek. He’s blue eyes looking at me made me blush“Thank you Max, you too.” I smiled shyly

“I’m gonna take you to a restaurant in Cannes because I wanted to make something different”

He said as he was starting to drive

-“Nice, I haven’t been to Cannes in a while, used to spend my summer holidays throughout the Mediterranean Sea, from Cannes to Saint Tropez with my friends” I smiled remembering our crazy summer nights

He smirked at me “you and your girls friends in saint tropez? I’m sure you went through some hell nights”

“Yeah I had my time to have fun, dance till morning, didn’t you?”

“No, all I did was karting, couldn’t really do anything that could affect my career, but I don’t regret. Everything paid off in the end. I’m a world champion that was/is the main goal. But I have to admit that I’m appreciating my life a lot more right now. I don’t feel too much pressure”

-“You must feel very proud of yourself, you get to travel a lot of places to do something you love “

-“ yeah though it sometimes can be very hard, because I’m never really home. And I had a quite few relationships that didn’t result because of that” he said looking at me again. I didnt understand if he was trying to tell me something indirectly or just casually talking.

Max pov

I know I got her thinking of what I said. I mean I’m not even sure if we will ever be in a relationship but at least I’m warning her that I won’t be a man with a 9/5 job. I won’t make the same mistakes I did before.

I decided to brake the ice. I pressed the accelerator pedal and we hit 250 really fast. I look in the corner of my eye at her. She was completely pressed against her seat and small scream came out of her mouth. It was cute I laughed.

“Just feel it baby, feel everything” I gave her a small squeeze in her hand.

I saw her cheeks getting slightly pink. She got nervous over my touch or was it because of the speed? Maybe both. She finnaly turned to me.

“You do this for work?!”

“I do it fast sweetheart” I said proud and in a not very humble voice. She gave a different smile. A sexy one, smiling with her mouth closed and her eyes filled with desire.

We arrived fast at “La Palme dor” a restaurant in a roof top on the famous “la Croisette” and with a view to the Mediterranean see. I made a reservation in a completely private table for us to avoid any unwanted attention.

“This place is beautiful and the view is breathtaking” said said with a very bright green eyes. I gave her a small smile and said “yeah, I love coming here though it’s been quite a long time now” I said remembering the last I was there was with my ex girlfriend.

While we were eating I could see she was kinda nervous but she started

-“so when do your races start?”

-“in two weeks, in Belgium, I already said that but you should definitely come” I said hopefully and continue “even thought I’m from the Netherlands I was born in Belgium so it’s still a special Grand Prix for me”

-“Well since it’s a special one I’ll try to be there but don’t promise” she gave a marvellous smile. Cute that’s what I though

-“Well then I’ll win it for you, I promise.

-should you be doing such a promise as that? Isn’t it very hard to win in formula 1? She curious.

-Come and you’ll see. I blinked at her. She smiled shyly .

-you must be very proud to be the world champion.

-Well I am, me and the team worked very hard to achieve that, so yeah it’s an amazing feeling. What about you how’s everything going at the hospital?”

-“fine, we just entered the breaking bones season” she said with a funny face i laugh.

“What’s that suppose to mean”

“Everyday we have 5/8 kids with broken bones because of the summer activities. My kids ain’t never jumping in Monaco rocks to the see” she said worried. I laughed harder.

“You say that now, but when time comes you’ll see”

-“I’m not changing my mind over that” she laughed

“Why not? Her mommy is a doctor you can take good care of the kid.” I said

“I don’t like them suffer, that why I became pediátric.

She stated

“Good point”

The night was going really well we talked all night and drinked a little bit too much. We decided to take a walk in la croisette. I gave her my arm and she embraced it. I looked at her and smiled.

-“you are freezing Y/N” I started taking of my coat.

-“no it’s okay I’m fine” she said but I knew she was freezing

-“no your not, please put on my coat” I helped her. It was very big on her and I laugh.

“It doesn’t match my outfit” she said joking with me and continued “now I don’t look pretty anymore” she continued mocking me

“You couldn’t look ugly even if you wanted to” i said looking straight to her eyes. She blushed and I smiled.

We kept walking and talking pretty much about everything. It was getting a bit late so we decided to go home.

I parked in front on her appartment

“Thank you so much for the night Max I really loved it” I smiled to her and said “me too, o think we would do this more often.”

“Yes I think we do” she was looking at me but her eyes were different they had a different sparkle this time. I gave her a soft kiss on the cheek very close to lips. She placed her hand behind my head giving me a soft and gentle kiss on the cheek too. Our faces were very close to what we both wanted. I decided to kiss her, it started soft as our tongues were meeting for the first time but it quickly become a more urgent, passionate kiss. She tasted so well. We were in perfect harmony.

Y/N pov

We kissed and I’m breathtaking. I felt my body filled with butterflies. I didn’t know if it was because I haven’t exactly been in a relationship in a long time now. But I’m sure that was not the case. He had thick and soft lips that kissed like heaven. Our kissed was filled with desired, I’m sure we could have taken this to other level but I decided to break the kiss because i couldn’t breath anymore.

I saw him smirk and said “I knew you wanted it” was he playing with me or what.

“So did you” I said back

“Of course I did, who wouldn’t want to kiss a girl like you?” I felt the heat on my cheeks again. “You always blush at my compliment, it’s cute”

“I’m not blushing it’s just very hot in here” I said quickly. He laugh again.

“Sure it is.” We were again very close “admit it you were dying for me to kiss you”

“Your being very cocky Verstappen”

“Whatever you say but I know you spend the night thinking of what it would feel like. How how’d our lips would connect” he said whispering in my ear in a very sexy voice. I closed my eyes in agony if he didn’t stop I don’t think I could control myself much more.

So i decided to tease him a little bit and said quietly near his mouth “and you? What were you thinking about?” I said in a sexy voice

“In many ways to take that sexy dress of yours and fuck you till you scream my name multiple time” he said it with a bad boy attitude that made me very hot again.

“Well I guess you’ll have to keep thinking of it”

“Oh baby I’ll have my away” he blinked at me “I guess I should go now. He immediately chance to a soft max. I was in a serious doubt of what I liked the most.

“Yeah you should, thank again I really loved your company” I smiled genuinely. And he laugh “yeah me too, after the kiss more even” he pull me in for another kiss this time was a relaxed one. And again our eyes meet.

“See you soon beautiful” he said softly.

“Bye max”

“I’m okay, I had a big lunch go have fun” I whispered, kissing Charles on his cheek smiling as he put on his cologne.

“You sure? Make sure to treat yourself whilst I’m gone” he kissed me on the lips and clutched my face as he walked out.

I looked down at a notification on my phone, it was from Instagram, a post of Charles and I together. I scanned the post as I looked at the comments.

“She’s such a slut she doesn’t deserve Charles”

“can she kill herself already”

“She’s so fat”

The last comment made me feel Ill, I’ve been trying so hard to get the perfect body. I cant do this anymore, I don’t want to do it anymore.

CHARLES POV

As I walked into the restaurant and spotted max I also spotted Kelly placed down in a seat next to him the couple smiling at me

“Hi guys! Sorry y/n couldn’t make it she said she’s had massive lunch, she went out with you right Kelly?” I questioned

“Oh um she didn’t eat lunch? She said she’d had a big breakfast” I raised and eye brow, she was at mine for breakfast, she didn’t want to eat cause she was running late for a meeting

Suddenly I felt ill, had she been starving herself? No, she can’t be, she ate lunch with me yesterday. I felt my breath hitch.

Max Kelly and I had dinner together and it took like what seemed forever. I said my goodbyes and hopped in my car. My mind was racing. I couldn’t think straight.

Was y/n okay? I don’t know maybe she just wasn’t hungry.

I opened the door to our apartment, she wasn’t in the living room, food wrappers and containers were left around the kitchen, loads of them. I opened the bedroom door, still empty. That’s when I saw it, the most perfect girl doing something so horrible it made my stomach drop.

Y/N POV

After reading those comments something inside me just broke, I kept scrolling, it was addicting but it was all people just telling me what a horrible girl I am.

I am trying, i am trying to be perfect but it’s so hard, it really is.

Out of nowhere I find myself raiding my fridge eating everything in sight I can, I found myself indulging in cake, biscuits, pasta, cookies, everything. It lasted for hours too. The worst part is I wasn’t even thinking about the consequences

Tears welling up in my eyes, my throat close up as I sank down onto the kitchen floor, cookie in hand, sobbing.

I took a walk of shame to the bathroom. I stuck my fingers down my throat and sobbed, the burning throat in the back of my feeling. Feeling worthless until my stomach felt empty.

“Y/n? Mon Chérie? Where are -“ I saw Charles, mouth agape at the sight he was looking at. My bloodied wrists, vomit in the toilet, chocolate around my face, crying my eyes out

“Ay”, he ran over rushing to the floor, I grabbed his shirt as my mascara stained it.

“Y/n you cannot do this to yourself it is not healthy” he whispered hugging me tight as I let out a sniff in response

“I’m sorry” I quivered “no you’re not, why would you be sorry y/n. Don’t be sorry” he pulled me even closer

“Let’s talk about this, go sit on the bed.” My heartbeat rose, I don’t really know if I wanna talk about it

“I’ll be back” is he planning our breakup? Does he think I’m too mentally Ill for him, oh my god, he’s going to leave me

He came back with a self aid kit in hand, sitting down on the bed with me grabbing my wrists

“Is it okay if I lift up the jumper?” He asked softly as I nodded

He grabbed disinfectant, cleaned them and wrapped a bandage around it.

“Mon amour, why are you doing this to yourself? Please be honest with me, have you eaten today?” He held my hand staring directly into my eyes.

“Yes…” I bit my lip waiting for his response, “throwing it up doesn’t count as eating” he looked down at my wrists

“Then no but I promise I’ll get better “ i lied

“No, not without help, you’re so perfect mon chèrie, I love you so much, you’re so pretty and kind” he cuddled into me

“It needs to stop, please promise me, I will pay for your therapist and you can tell me when you’re dealing with this stuff.” He looked at me and pleaded, a lot

I let out a laugh and nodded my head.

“I love you, I thought you would leave me” I kissed him

“Never, not in my life would I even think about that, 8 months in and I can already see what our kids will look like” we both had a laugh

“Why, can I ask what triggered it? If you don’t mind” he looked at me

“Well um Fans of yours have been making comments and I just-“

“Mon amour, who am I dating?” He raised an eyebrow

“Me…”

“Right, so those fake fans can fuck themselves, I’m not dating them am I? I picked you cause you’re the most amazing woman I’ve ever seen” he said so calmly

While Max played concentratedly on the virtual track with his friends, the chat was filled with comments. Suddenly, the sound of small footsteps echoed in Max's room. Olivia, with her small pink backpack with the Disney princesses logo, made her triumphant entrance.

Viewers couldn't believe their eyes when Olivia appeared on screen. Max, still focused on the race, seemed taken aback when he heard the rustle of her small backpack.

Out of nowhere, Olivia pulled out a Barbie makeup set, complete with a variety of bright and colorful colors along with butterfly and flower clips. With the confidence of a professional makeup artist, she approached her unsuspecting father, who was still competing against his friends.

While she laughed with joy, Max played along, pretending to be a serious player with a new hair and matching makeup.

She delicately applied brightly colored makeup along with small sparkles in his eyes, creating a masterpiece on his father's face, much to the delight of the viewers.

Just before finishing her work she told her father to put on ''duck lips'', Max not knowing what that meant took a quick look at what his daughter was trying to say before copying her action to put lip gloss on him.

Before Olivia left she could hear her uncle Lando tell her father "Max, you've never looked more handsome mate!", clearly mocking him but with Olivia's innocence, she happily approached her father, grabbed the small microphone and said with a loud voice ''Uncle Lando, you will be my next client!''
