Tommy has come to the rescue of so many people without any thought for his own safety or the consequences of those actions. He doesn’t dwell on it, doesn’t keep score. If someone he cares about needs his help he is there. He will drop everything and do anything he can to save those who ask. That’s what he does. He is there when they need something but afterwards he goes home alone. He keeps his own company, sure he is friendly with a lot of people but he knows it’s because he is useful to them. It’s all surface level friendliness. When he gets a call he knows someone needs something from him, not because they want to check in with him or hang out just because they enjoy his company. That’s ok. He doesn’t hold a grudge, he is just happy to be able to help and he isn’t really that good of a friend anyway. Too sarcastic. Too bitchy. Too quiet. Too withdrawn. Too good at pretending he doesn’t need the close connections everyone else seems to make easily.

This time Tommy is in need of saving but he doesn’t know who would come if he called them. He doesn’t know who would even notice that he is missing to actually come looking for him.

It’s been over a year since he saved Bobby and Athena from the cruise ship. Months since he broke up with Evan. Weeks since their hookup. And in all that time he never heard from anyone at the 118. He thought he had been reforming those connections when he was dating Evan but that all went away the night he imploded their relationship.

Well that’s not entirely true. He has been forming a better friendship with one person. Someone he hadn’t thought would reach out to him under any circumstances. And he doesn’t want anything from Tommy except friendship. Maybe he would come if Tommy called, maybe he would drop everything to help Tommy. They were supposed to catch up for dinner so Tommy could get all the gossip on this friend’s new girlfriend. Well potential girlfriend. There is a chance his absence will be noticed after all.

It’s kind of a moot point anyway. Tommy has no idea where he is. No idea how long he has been here or how he got here. No way of getting to a phone to call for help. No way to escape while he is chained to the stone wall in this dark and dank basement? Cave? Dungeon? He doesn’t know, his brain still feels scrambled. All he can do is sit and wait. Wait for his head to stop pounding and his memory of what transpired to return. Wait and think about how he may never get to see Evan’s beautiful smile again, never get to tell him how sorry he is for wasting time being scared. All Tommy can do right now is hope that Ravi notices he isn’t texting him to set up that dinner, hoping that Ravi will drop everything and gather everyone to help find Tommy. He needs saving this time. He just hopes someone comes for him.

Not sure if I’m going to continue with this but I kinda like the idea of Ravi reaching out to Tommy after he tried to get him back together with Buck. I like the idea of them being friends and Ravi not needing Tommy’s help for anything.

This is just a WIP Ru'aun map for my MCD rewrite. Maybe I should have waited until I finished it to upload it, but there isn't much more I can think to add anymore, so this might be it. Maybe WIP maybe completed idk. It is a bit all over the place, but that's just because at first I was trying to be detailed, but by the end I got tired and just wanted to get the main points of it over with. Some things do not follow actual cannon and that is simply because I hate that map, originally my rewrite was going to follow the one given to us by Aphmau but then I looked at it for the first time in nearly 7 years (or however long ago it was posted) and it almost gave me an aneurysm trying to understand it.

I took a sketch from one of my upcoming doodle pages. Since I liked it I thought I might as well refine it. The blue/orange hue is so satisfying for my eyes, I almost love the non coloured version more...

Drawing shadows with lines at an almost meditating pace did the trick for me again i guess.. I could kinda relax while doing this, which is basically a big as goal achieved on it's own right now...

I am so tempted to critic the shit out of it again.. BUT I'm not gonna do that.. I will not let my fucking brain ruin this hobby for me again..
