Pressured princess Juvia for the Royal au! 🙂🙂🙂

Juvia’s the heir to the family throne, slowly being crushed by the weight of all the expectations that have been placed on her by her family (namely her mother). She was one of the few people within the Kingdom to be cursed by an unknown entity : All her dreams may never come true. Every night when she goes to sleep, she has the sweetest of dreams. A free life to do whatever she wishes, her mother supporting her, and her fiancé being right by her side…but it was all just a dream…Right?

Finally fed up with the treatment she receives, Juvia racks up the courage to run away from everything. But…she doesn’t know where she’s going. The only place she’s memorized how to get to just so happens to be her arranged fiancé’s castle.

She makes her way there, not knowing she’s being followed. Her personal knight Deuce Spade, assigned to keep and eye on her, continues with his duty to protect her and stays ten steps behind Juvia throughout her journey. As much as it pains him to see Juvia with her fiancé, He knows he never stood a chance. Only In his dreams.

Once Juvia’s finally made it to his castle, she manages to sneak behind towards the fountain hidden in the flower garden surrounded by deep red roses and sunny marigolds. Their favorite flowers. And his favorite place to be at night. She calls out his name, not loudly as to not disturb anyone who could possibly be around, but loud enough for him to snap his head back at the familiar voice he’s grown to love.

“I need you to help me, Mitch. This is the one thing I ask of you so please..”

The desperation in Juvia’s voice made his heart strain. Mitch didn’t even know he could still feel such things. There was only one thing on his mind after that moment : Bring Juvia the happiness she deserves.

From then on, Mitch guided Juvia away from all the things that hurt her, her soft shaky hand in his rough calloused one. The hand Deuce’s gloved hand has only held from helping her down the stairs.

On their way to who knows where, the Royals (and hidden knight) stumble upon an old, mossy tower. Originally intending to just walk on by, they hear questionable noises from said tower. A crash, a groan, and a swear. Well….curiosity killed that cat. Naturally, they went up into the tower. Mitch’s hold on Juvia was tight with the creaky steps and falling rubble. Once they reached the top, it truly was a sight to behold.

Books scattered, pages with near ineligible writing and drawings and a couple spilt potions had covered the floor of the towers only room. And stood in the corner was someone with their back turned, talking to themselves and searching for something.

“Uhm…Excuse me!”

The hooded figure jumped and screeched in shock at a voice other than their own. They took their hood off to reveal a young woman with glasses, blue hair and heavy dark circles. After the initial shock, the woman introduced herself as Mayuu, a wizard who resides in this tower with the intent to guide those who come across. It was almost ironic the two Royals decided to feed their curiosity and venture inside.

“What can I do? Will I ever find the freedom and happiness I’ve longed for?”

Juvia explained her curse to the wizard Mayuu, doing her best to not shed a tear. She was always the emotional type. Mayuu couldn’t help but feel an intense wave of nostalgia course through her body. She’s dealt with this situation before. Very recently.

“Go against your curse. Set your happiness in stone and you’ll be the victor. What do you really want to do?”

What do I really want to do? It was a rather vague question but it gave Juvia the push she needed. She knew exactly what she wanted. She wanted to be with someone. Someone who loves her, who cares for her, is willing to protect her and support her throughout all the rough times. But that arose yet another problem….There were two people who fit that description. Juvia loved Mitch, she really did. But she made up her mind the moment she met him. Her knight Deuce Spade was the one.

Mitch could see it in her eyes and facial expression, the way her breathing started to pick up. He wanted to be the one, but that would defeat the purpose of his goal. He wants Juvia wants to be happy, and her happiness is with her Knight. Walking down and out of the tower after giving the wizard Mayuu an extremely generous payment, It was silent. The two of them just stood there facing one another, eyes however staring at the ground which seemed more important. Mitch was the one to break the silence, how unusual of him… He took Juvia’s hand once more for the last time, bowed, and placed a gentle fluttering kiss upon her hand.

“I hope you find your happiness, even without me.”

And with that he looks behind Juvia, signaling towards the Knight that he can stop hiding. She whips her head around, in utter shock at the sight of Deuce. Slowly, the princess and the knight walked towards each other, as if scared the other would disappear. Once they stood merely a few centimeters apart, a wave of light surrounded them. Blue butterflies with golden specks flew freely in the area. The curse was lifted, Juvia knew. She finally found her happiness.

Mitch, used to this feeling of emptiness, simply turned around with the slightest smile on his face and made his way back home.

His mission was completed.

The Tale of Velvet’s Career

It started during her schooling abroad the time she learned how to do the bass and the other types of guitars during her sessions in Music Class.

However, her teacher explained to her that she has a wonderful talent, her first performance of it was at her prom night.

After that, a video of her performance skyrocketed. Then soon her younger siblings and her cousins convinced her to join with Tatsuo (who became an idol before her).

After some practising and joining with her older cousin. They soon performed their first collaboration. (The aftermath of the obsessed issue).

Her album is known as: 'The Book of Little Red' (A tale of a young girl within her red appearance and grew up in a difficult environment and the song goes in order of seven and one bonus)

Most of her solo songs might based on life experiences and her experience.

Has improved her skills after the three songs of the album.

Despite where she was, she still felt like the previous life she had was still here despites the changes. But thanks to her friends, she knew that it was still there before here.

Was rather the next one to arrive alongside with Carol and that's when she met the others and Mayuu after being scouted by Crowley.

The first time Mayuu seen her perform alongside with her bass while singing and dancing to balance it was rather surprising XD for the manager.

How did she get a UM? - Mayuu was magicless before the reset. She gained the means to some form of magic thanks to Kyuu.

What's the reset? - She saw the ending of TWST and was pretty unhappy about it. So, her wish essentially rewound time so she could do things better.

Kairyn -> Mayuu? - She believed that changing her name to a "yuu" would increase her chances of changing the ending.

What's she like? (to strangers) - At first, she doesn't really pay any mind to "outsiders" since she doesn't really see the point in forming [new relationships]. Bug and pester her enough and she'll finally notice you! That's if you can bypass her judgemental stares and eternal RBF.

What's she like? (to friends) - Old habits die hard... She SUCKS at maintaining friendships. If you leave her be for a while, she's not gonna make an effort to check in with you. Can't really blame her though, Mayuu is a busy bee who gets paid in pennies and misery!

...BUST A MOVE?? - Aight so... Kyuu bribes her with a [one-time only] power-up if she's in a pinch. The catch? She has to make a [fool] out of herself. Her go-to method is to dance in public.

[ APRIL FOOLS : A JOKE GONE TOO FAR ]

Kyuu decided to be extra silly, pulling the cruelest prank upon his hero, cursing her to become a marketable pocket watch. With such a fitting curse comes a fitting way to break it: true love's kiss.

Even the hero needs a hero... wonder who turned out to be her prince charming?

HANDS... of TIME will wring my neck.

It is 9:15 according to the watch. It was this late in the story, yet she was still in the shackles placed upon her by STYX.

How on earth did the Ramshackle prefect end up in such a predicament?

Usually, she would've been back in NRC at this hour, just in time to prepare for what was to come with the Diasomnia chapter. Yet, somehow she's still shackled down in Tartarus. Why is that the case?

Guess it's because of those stones she ate, the ones Grim would gobble down in the previous timelines. This time, she was the one throwing these down the hatch.

Kyuu told her that it was necessary to swallow these blotted magestones in order to develop her UM. Each stone swallowed meant that she would get stronger and stronger.

You could say that she saw this as necessary. The ends justify the means, and it's utterly justifiable that she must get stronger to save everyone. Plus, if it meant that Grim would be saved, then she'd gladly take the fall.

And so, stone after stone did she get strong. The hour hand struck harder, and the minute hand moved faster. Each battle from each dorm got easier and easier the more she consumed a stone from the fallen phantoms.

Yet...

Of course, nothing in this world comes for free.

The night after the VDC competition, the Ramshackle prefect went rogue.

At first, Grim went missing from the dorm's premises. This greatly worried Mayuu, thinking that her efforts were futile and that he was bound to go ballistic and get captured by STYX all over again. However, this was proven to not be the case, as he eventually returned from his trip from Sam's shop with a wagon of tuna.

However, later that night, Grim woke to his tail getting stepped on by this stupid human. This would be a normal occurrence, but something about her this time seemed off.

Mayuu's motion was akin to a robot's; stiff and mechanical. The prefect definitely did a lot of strange things, but even this was an outlier for her peculiarities. What was even more strange was that she decided to take a trip outside without her weapons. Presumably, if she were to be awake at this hour, she'd go out to train.

Something was definitely up, Grim just knew it.

Thus, he decided to follow her. Better safe than to be sorry, and he didn't want to feel sorry if his human ended up disappearing just because of his ignorance.

Trailing behind the prefect, they both eventually reached the VDC stage. Everything else that happened went by so fast.

She was hungry, hungry for the magestone buried in the depths of the stage. She was desperate to get that crunch that the murky stone gave, and she was going to do anything in order to get that bite.

Grim witnessed the prefect unearthing the stage with her bare hands, causing them to wear and tear to a degree.

"M-Myaaah human!!? S-Stop it! I command you to stop! You're gonna get yourself hur-"

"H O U R H A N D"

The response Mayuu gave him for his rare concern was a punch to the face. What makes matters worse was that she used her UM against him, dealing a painful blow to the poor thing.

With this incident, Mayuu ended up being taken by STYX. There they discovered a concerning amount of blot building up in the prefect's system. Thus, she is to stay on the premises until it's deemed safe for her to return to the outside world.

To her, this is all worth it. The narrative deviated from the story she knew. Now, there was hope that she could finally change the ending of this tale.

Yet, who's to say that the route she's on would yield better results than the one she already knew?

I got no time to finish END 1's comic yet, so here we are! Plus, here's a slight peek at "Kyuu" (PMMM fans, you might know what's up)

Why ENDS? - ENDs are the backbone of Mayuu's time loops. When an END is reached, Mayuu will be forced into a new timeline. This is in hopes of rectifying her mistakes and getting a better chance to achieve THE END.

An END is achieved when she expires without her wish being fulfilled.

THE END is achieved when her “wish” is finally granted.

END 1 is necessary to go through, as it's how she's able to "time loop."

So far, there are 7* possible ENDs. It's unknown if any of those are THE END.

Each Mayuu in each timeline is "twisted" from a certain character. END 1 is twisted from a certain magical girl, while END 6 is twisted from a certain sorcerer.

END 6 Mayuu is the only variant that's capable of using magic.

END 1's comic is in the works at the moment, but it's still unclear when it'll be released. I can't say much more about it, so we'll just have to wait and see >:))

smol update on OB Mayuu...

You can fit so many details on this bad boy... Guess I'll mc'friggin perish upon my own creative liberties

some design notes bc I'm insane:

Arrow hair - 2 strands on the ponytail represent the hour hand (shorter strand) and the minute hand(longer strand). The tiny strand on the front is the second hand.

Shackles - Referencing Kronos being imprisoned in Tartarus. However, it can also be said that it references Sisyphus, the man who cheated death.

Face - Mimics a part of the Prague Astronomical clock (aka the funky disc)

Hands - Tried to embody the "hands of time" w/ the skeleton hand [death] and a literal clock hand [a blade of some sort, I forgor what it's called LWDSLJS]

Outfit - Lowkey inspired by the Milgram prisoners + some elements of steampunk. [Fun fact: her stomach portion with the pendulum references the grandfather clock].

This will probably be the last update I have of this for now [the raffle I did last time haunts me in my sleep AAAAA ;v;]

𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮.

There was once a clockmaker who was the master of his craft. He had completed his magnum opus; an astronomical clock. It was like no other, as it aired such a breathtaking magnificence. To keep such a creation unique, his previous commissioners burned his eyes, confiscating his sight and skill. The clockmaker was now unable to create anything at all.

His helplessness and overall inability drove him mad, causing him to throw himself into the gears of his creation. With this, his death cursed the clock, dooming anyone who dares to repair it.

TEMPUS EDAX RERUM.

Everyone has their breaking points, and Mayuu had already broken past that for the nth time. Yet, the blot just can't stop flowing.

Isn't it only fair to strike back? It was this damn bastard who caused all this, the one who claimed to help her; her so-called fairy godmother.

The thought angers her. Snatching away this being's pinky finger, she takes back their "promise."

She views such a strange act as one of vengeance. Though, deep down she knows this changes nothing.

But, who cares?

It's all over anyway.
