I just wish the show allowed for more time for character development. Because I didn't catch her first name and only learned through online. The 6 episode format and the "plot" botches it. And will they ever explain how the fuck she and the hunters are so freaking strong if they're just humans rather than human-looking aliens the way Loki is? Enhancements?

It'd be its own thing, not some doormat for other Marvel properties to step on. Don't use it to set up a "Big Bad" that won't be used anymore. A Loki that was sick of dying so violently and their lot in life. Or trying to save Frigga could have been an interesting sympathetic villain. A Loki that repressed every bit of who they were thinking it'd somehow alter their destiny; trying to impose that on other Loki variants. I think it should have been about grief and self-hatred. Wouldn't that be fucking cool?

I personally think the TVA is an interesting concept, but it was used the WRONG way. The TVA would have been a good vehicle to parallel Loki's fight against pre-determinism from the comics very easily. I don't know if it'd have been my first choice. I certainly think it could have worked if handled properly and I do like it better than what I'd have come up with without any outside influence. If I had no knowledge of what the Loki series ended up being, I'd have probably have Loki survive somehow and reunite with his people and brother. Maybe with some Revengers shenanigans and Loki angst? I'd love Loki angst while he's pretending to be Odin, and nearly dying! I would've wanted Loki to have a huge scar on his chest! I don't think it's as refreshing as a Loki variant being apprehended for unfair reasons.

I love the idea of sinister food. So DRUGGED PIE. It'd also make the TVA agents more sympathetic in terms of complicity. And it'd make that sinister pie more marketable lmao.

I personally would have wanted some of the TVA cast to be people Loki killed during his rampage on Earth. The reveal of WHY Mobius is drawn to him would have been so compelling and heart-wrenching!

It should have been more overtly queer. Yes, it made Loki come out as bisexual, but it did nothing for their genderfluidity. Have Loki use different pronouns in different episodes! Even if not shapeshifting bc TVA represses magic! Hell, have a fem!Loki casting too!

I'd have personally killed for some exploration of Loki's villain queer-coding in some meta context. But I know that's never happening.

Better costumes. Alien TVA employees! And PLEASE give MCU!Loki black nails like their comics counterpart!!! They cheaped out on these poor characters! Why the fuck are they all from Earth and the USA especifically?! Why are most of the costumes office garb, a fucking green blanket, and McD's uniforms?

I'd have liked some Loki's gap year with Thanos whump/angst, and hell even Asgard angst (e.g. Loki being insecure about who he is and his interests! That's why people relate to MCU!Loki, FFS!).

I personally think SOME dumb discourse would have been prevented if Sylvie had been the MCU's Enchantress rather than an amalgam of a fem!Loki variant with very tiny hints of Amora/Sylvie Lushton (and TH had wanted for Amora to appear in the MCU since 2013. ). Not saying people wouldn't be awful to her in that case (I'd picture a lot of fans upset that her tits aren't out 24/7 like in the comics and that she isn't as traditionally feminine or played by someone in her 20s). BTW, I absolutely don't give a shit if people are into Sylki, and it's not my Loki OTP. I generally am indifferent towards it, and I've defended it because some people were being awful to the actress. I am a ship and let ship sort of person.

Don't relegate female characters to product placement or forget about them. I wanted to know WTF was up with Ravonna. She was the character I was most interested on after the blorbo I've had for over a decade in S1 (and she was frankly pretty Loki-like). Instead we got horny clock love triangle over a man. It was also insulting that they relegated Sylvie to product placement, and that B-15 still got very little exploration.

Actually flesh out characters and the relationships between them! Not even TVA!Loki is properly fleshed out, imho. Loki just suddenly cares SO MUCH about them despite not even having a conversation with them throughout the series!

If you yourself could’ve directed/wrote the Loki series, what would you have done differently? What would you have wanted to see in a series about Loki? What would you have focused on? Would the series take place somewhere other than the TVA? Which characters would you include? What would be the end goal? What aspects of his character would be explored?

One of the most important revelations from S2 E4 has to be the fact that Mobius loves to download and play unauthorised games that have the potential to corrupt system files. The way he denied repeating his mistake is extremely suspicious. It's impossible not to love this man.

If you were to rewrite Season 2 how would you do it?

I'd include drugged addictive pie that alters the TVA employee's moods in there and makes them more compliant. Wasted opportunity!

Sylvie would have fucked off to another planet and stolen a bunch of shit, not that megacorp's fast food restaurant. And I'd have included aliens that don't look human in there (another wasted opportunity that was probably wasted to save on the budget...).

Having Loki want to see his family again and actually make Loki's attachment to the TVA crew believable. For better or for worse. I know Loki left on bad terms with them, but it is WEIRD that he doesn't bring them up often and people he seems more attached to people he just met or captured him. Also please actually mention B-15's name and have her interact with Loki. The BTS stuff with the actors talking seemed more in-character than the actual series.

I think it'd have been very cool if they applied the concept of archetypal bias in the TVA's policing of the timelines. And they should have brought up more Loki variants, and even other villains that are over-represented. And it'd have added more weight to Miss Minutes telling Victor Timely "You'll never be him."

I think it should have been brought up more that Sylvie's eaten people many times before. Have her say incredibly unhinged shit out of nowhere. Also, let her cuss people out!

It's low on my list because I don't trust Disney with it, and I have a very specific HC about Loki's time in the Void and with Thanos. Basically dying in the void and being brought back by the Black Order, cultivating some fucked up sense of gratitude enmeshed with coercion (because they could take it away). I dig the thematic resurrection thing, and Loki and Thanos kept mentioning resurrections in all the movies and even in the series. And ok, on Thanos thing, I am team coercion and manipulation was involved (particularly when it came to the Cube because it'd hurt Asgard), but it's not like Loki was very attached to Earth in the first place or cared for human lives.

I'd have explored Ravonna's mysterious origins more because they didn't answer any questions in S2. Why the hell was she a school principal in S1 but also HWR's right hand woman? I'd have made HWR grieve her death (she was a school principal and his wife), and trap a variant of her forever within the TVA. Unable to let her go.

It'd be funny if they drop hints that Asgard's pretty fucked up. Like Loki not being bothered by the TVA's surveillance because "We have that on Asgard."

Dark-haired Sylvie like in that concept art! And IDK better costumes for Loki and Sylvie.

The series ending with the TVA burning to the ground as everyone discovers it's all a lie and the staff stop eating the pie (look at my rhymes!).

Also, have Loki variants ask each other about their pronouns while introducing themselves as [adjective]!Loki or any chosen name. Or remark that though they may be surrounded by lying thieving Lokis, at least they know they won't get shit about their personal pronouns because they understand each other in that regard.
