hii, omg i laugh a little while reading this, bc its so true! kanato can be put in a stereotype and cant get him out if that but ill do my best so i hope i dont desappoint!! and ty so much for enjoying my blog, it means a lot to me that you guys like what i write and specially my art!

so here i bring kanato, and with a little warning as well as i did with laito, kanato is also a very complex and deep character, he isnt childish all the time and definetly not a kid, he is a hole ass man with the usual mommy and daddy issues (cortesy of diabolik lovers to every character)

kanato was so friking difficult to draw, i dont love it but in another moment ill draw him again until i like the result.

his looks and selfcare

so, kanato, i have some thoughts, to begin with lets talk about his appearence, i like to think that kanato has the kind of ethereal beauty, maybe bc he is the one who looks the most like his mother, so the beauty is serving. kanato has round eyes and long lashes, and his dark circles juts makes his gaze pop out.

oh, and kanato gaze? i think he may be the most scary one, ofc not all the time, kanato round eyes makes him have a cute and friendly gaze and as well one that sink into you the moment he see's you with dark eyes and a terrifiying aura.

i like to think that kanato has the most pretty eyes of the sakamaki brothers, and even if his brothers may say he is kind of femenine, kanato doesnt care, he may be more of a femenine beauty but still is so godamn handsome.

i like to think that kanato does not really take care of his skin. its like shu, he has a pretty and soft skin just by washing his face with water, dont have acne even he always eat sweets, but he do use a good soap like laito, a bar soap and only for his face, and really hates when his brothers use it for their hands, kanato throws it away if that happen's.

i think kanato has a sensitive skin so he has to be carefull with what he cleans himself, one time in his teen years, kanato used ayato soap by mistake and he got urticaria, but the soap was'nt used before so kanato knew it was'nt for the dirty soap, it was just a cheap soap. since then kanato only use natural soaps, he likes lavanda ones, vanilla or coconut, he likes sweets escents. also uses natural shampoo.

kanato prefers long baths bc he enjoys the hot water, and really really hates cold showers.

kanato likes to style his hair, he doesnt have fluffly hair, so he has to style it to have more volume.

i think kanato do not use sunscreen, he thinks its dumb since he is a vampire and tecnically dont age like a human so he isnt worried for that.

and since kanato has sensitive skin, i belive he also has some sensorial issues, like he can't stand someting itchy or to rough to the touch. kanato will literally burn it, he has to feel soft clothes, like cotton or silk, and yes, he loves silk, actually, kanato has slik sheets and pillows.

i think kanato has a normal sense of fashion, like i dont get why people sometimes put kanato in lolita or cute core or whatever, kanato really loves comfy clothes and more like "grandpa" clothes, like chunky sweaters, he likes to use belts and classic shoes, dont like sneakers.

and for his body, i think he does have wide shoulders, but he is skinny bc he dont excersize, it happens the same with the sunscreen, kanato think is dumb to excersize bc he has super strenght so he does'nt really need muscles to prove how powerful he is. kanato has big and slim hands, good cared nails. i also think kanato dont have a small waist, he has a more thick waist and prominent v line, but not so much like his brothers. i like to think that kanato has a mole on his side stomach.

and he also can grow a beard but dont like it, he think he looks terrible and freak out a little every time he sees a little hair on his chin.

random stuff

so, i have a lot of thoughts in kanato.

to begin with, i think kanato has a lot of sensorial issues, like he cant stand being with a big group of people for too long, the noise of people talking or just hearing them breath it makes kanato stress out a lot. this also happens with food, if the food has a weird texture he has the instict of throw up. and lastly i think this also happens with the touch, like if he touch sticky things, clumpy or bumpy, something of a strange consistency, kanato will go crazy.

and i also think (maybe canon?? im not sure) kanato is not a cry baby, its just his way of manipulate things at his favor when he needs it. i think he only has really cried for anger in his life, not really bc he is sad.

i think kanato likes to collect figures, not teddy bears of plushies, he likes specially horror figures, like lucky boxes or just iconic horror figures. and speaking of horror, kanato is a big fan! he has maga, movies and books of horror stories, he thinks humans maybe do has good ideas but sometimes he thinks its too absurd, like zombies? where did that come from?

i think kanato likes to walk, just, go around and take long walks, it help him clear his mind and dont think too much of his mother. and its no secret kanato has a hard time in rainy day so i think he listen to music with earphones bc he feels down if he hears the rain.

i also think kanato has a special way of expressiong himself with other people, like, he takes everything literal so he says things very literal, and has a short temper, cant stand stupid or slow people (me neither kanato, i got you) it gets on his nervers.

i like to think that kanato gets the ick with a lot of things, like if he sees someone drop their food and pick it up again and eat it, kanato cant belive it, or when someone says a joke that its not funny, he gets the ick, also when someone has bad taste in music, kanato cant stand bad music.

and speaking about music, kanato is a big fan of the classics singers, but also some divas, he just likes how their voice can go so high. but he dont really like singning, he despite its but love it at the same time. vampire things.

Simple question.

Why people often do think that you must ship your favorite character with somebody just because it's your favorite character?...

Why do people think that you ship two characters by just the fact you love the relationship between them?... That you draw or just simply want them to hug, cuddle, laugh or spending time together? I mean... it kinda triggers me a lot. There are many more types of love than romantic or brotherly.

It always makes me so uncomfortable also because I am a woman and I have a straight male friend who I truly love and sometimes cuddle with. But we are not a couple. We will never be. And he feels exactly the same. We don't want our relationship to be diffrent and it annoys us when people ( usually the fučkin same ones ) asks us over and over again that maybe we should try be lovers or do we actually secretly fell in love with each other. It is uncomfortable. Why do so many of you think so negatively?

Now that I've started this topic, I'll tell you what prompted me to write this post.

Recently I noticed that some people are asking or even stating facts on their own that I ship Daryl Dixon and Beth from the TV series "The Walking Dead". Probably because I share illustrations of them hugging or looking at each other in the comfortable way. ♡

So yeah. Daryl is my comfort character and I love him the most in the entire series. But godamn that doesn't mean I have to ship him with anyone. I do not. I don't ship Daryl Dixon with anyone ... at least for now. Yes I love his relationship with Beth. The fact how pure, honest, beautiful, delicate and innocent it was. I love what Beth opened in Daryl's heart. How did he feel after so many traumas. He saw that there really are still good people in this fučked up World. I love his relationships with many other characters too. Especialy with Maggie, Rick, Judith and Lydia. But still Beth and Daryl is one of the bonds that influences me the most.

You know... I'd probably like to have a similar one with Daryl. Maybe that's why. It doesn't mean that I would like him to be my boyfriend. I just simply love this kind of relationships when you can open your real self and be close without any weird thoughs. I have this kind of relationship in real life. I'm greatfull for that.

I don't know how else to sum it up. People and their looking for shit in something really beautiful is disgusting. I've experienced this many times on the internet, in many fandoms. Probably because I'm quite well-known and recognizable in the fandom where I'm most active (on the ig). A bunch of people really want others to think that i am a "proshipper", toxic, obsessed in the unhealthy way of things or generally a bad person. I'm not usually up to date with their ideas, but sometimes they come to the surface and other fans ask me about various things while watching these people's sweats and aggression. I don't care how old the fans are. On the Internet, everyone takes responsibility for what they say to others.

because in your mind, letting someone see you at your lowest lows of means that you really trust and love someone to let them see you like that

which is why wooyoung fell in love with you in the first place

he had never been in a relationship where someone was so caring and thoughtful of others that he was scared that he wouldn’t be enough for you and that you deserved better

of course, he didn’t tell you that right away but he confessed to you about that wayyy later in your relationship which is another story to be told

but one day, life was coming at you so fucking fast

assignments were piling up left and right and deadlines were literally every other day

and then there seemed to be an increase in the amount of angry karens at your work

and your patience was thinning everyday with those people

then to top it all off, all the tests you’ve been studying for, you got mediocre grades, some even worse in other subjects

it just felt like no matter how much work you put into whatever you do, you got half ass results

it was just pushing your mental health further into the ground

you could handle a C every once in awhile but multiple? on back to back tests? no fucking way you just couldn’t

those stupid, dark thoughts would cloud your mind in an instant and on days like this, you would just let them consume you

you were too tired to pick yourself up again and fight back which led to you crying in wooyoung’s arms

usually, you would feel so embarrassed crying over things like this when you know other people have it worse but you couldn’t hold in it anymore 

you ranted about yourself in between your hiccups from crying which would hurt wooyoung’s heart a little bit

because he thought of you as such a strong and kind person- the complete opposite of what you were saying about yourself

so when you were done talking, wooyoung made you look at him and assured you that you were not any of those nasty things that you said about yourself

each insult turned into a thoughtful compliment accompanied by a kiss

a flash of panic surged through his body as he momentarily forgot where he was since he wasn’t at his dorm his room never looked this clean 

yawning, the vocalist would wander into the light with his eyes squinted, “y/n?”

“oh my god!” you jumped, water almost spilling out your glass

jongho covered his ears, “what are you doing up?”

“oh,” you felt your cheeks turn red since you felt bad for waking your boyfriend up. “i can’t sleep.”

“why?” he asked, walking towards the couch.

“i don’t know.” you answered as you followed close behind. 

you curled up next to jongho, clutching his shirt “i’m sorry for waking you up.”

jongho smiled tiredly at you before kissing your head, “don’t be. it’s okay. i don’t have work tomorrow anyways.”

you smiled in response before the two of you guys fell into a silence

“do you want me to sing you to sleep?”

“yes, please.” you murmured into his side as jongho placed his other arm around you, successfully trapping you in between his arms

he began singing softly into your ear as he stroked your hair

his warm voice coaxing your eyes to close 

at last, your mind was at peace with itself

your heart beat slowing down

and by the time the song was finished you were fast asleep in arms

I don’t like peter enough to like, have actually created thoughts about him outside of my overall perception and how he treats other characters 😭 so im skipping him. BUT, for Jack-

-Overall opinion of them: light of my life he means everything to me. I know I say this for a lot of characters because a lot of characters mean everything to me but Jack does hold a very special place in my heart and that place is helping me accept liking men. His only flaw is being a 70s character because I keep forgetting how much I hate reading the word vomit of older comics and it’s one of the main things why I haven’t been able to finish ALL his appearances yet but godamn I will one day

– Gender/sexuality headcanons: GAY GAY HOMOSEXUAL GAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I refuse to see Jack as anything but gay he is into men he loves men len kaminski didnt write jack not finding girls attractive anymore for people to think he wants a GIRLFRIEND. Also has trans man and leather gay swag

– Favorite moment in canon: there’s a lot of them but probably this entire like epilogue panel from Len Kaminski's “Children of the night” and especially the line “I am something unique and wonderful.” Snif snif okay gayboy!!!

– Characters I love seeing them interact with: Jack unfortunately doesn’t interact with a lot of people but TBH even though he's seen as a meme rn I actually really really love Jack's friendship with Morbius the living vampire I think they’re such an incredibly endearing pairing they’re literally boy best friends in love forever. They've tried to kill each other five times. Also that one arc where he meets Danny Ketch ghost rider and it feels like He's giving him gay advice the entire time is funny LMAO I wish he got to interact more with some of the larger marvel universe and other horror themed characters like Blade he like kinda gets slotted in a box of only getting to interact w ppl who show up in anything he's also in syndrome

– Favorite locations headcanon: Jack tends to travel a lot in my experience but I imagine he's probably fond of his hometown still as well as any sort of very lush, forested area. Probably places with a lot of gas stations and car/bike culture too because he was like a literal biker in the 90s. They should let Jack go back to Romania I bet he'd fucking love it there. As someone who not only loves Adora but also relates to her on a mental level it is beyond frustrating watching her Birthday go down. Because this day that should be around her? To celebrate her? It's not about her.

The fandom once again makes it about Catra. About Shipping. There is so much Art but how often do I see it is just her? Or her and her friends? It's disturbing even to see Catra with her all the time. Even more so when Catra is the focus, the center of attention. It feels like it's Catra's Birthday. The fandom basically gave her a "second" Birthday, once again trashing Adora. Walking all over her.

While it is not always Catra, just mainly: Adora is nothing but Shipping fuel in 90% of the content that exists of her.

You google "Adora Fanart"? Catradora all over the place the second you make it past the first few Artwoks that are actually just about her.

You look for Adora Stickers on PicsArt? Surprise, more Catradora.

The Adora Tag on Instagram? Surprisingly not filled with as much Catradora (today) as you'd expect but still to be found plenty.

What about Amino? A place much more welcoming to Non Catradora Shippers? Unfortunately even there a lot of the Adora (Birthday) content includes, often even revolves around Catra(dora).

All in one that makes me come to these conclusions. Once again it's not solely reduced to Catra(dora), it's just the most/much more common one and the one I have my biggest issues and negative experiences with.

A big part of the fandom does actually not care about Adora! This is only underlined by everyone making fun of her for being "stupid" ("haha, dumb lesbian, how could she not get Catra loved her all along!?") and ignoring all the abuse she went through because "poor Catra uwu she's traumatized from hurting Adora, Adora better comforts her uwu". As if Adora is not the one mentally (and much likely physically) scarred for all of her life because of being abused in all the cruel ways you could imagine: scratched, hit, kicked, slapped, thrown off cliffs, thrown against walls etc., kidnapped and tied up, pulled by the hair, tackled and shoved, gaslighted, insulted and guilt tripped, the list goes on ... Yeah, even worse some people even call her out for "hurting" and "betraying" Catra, saying she needs to apologize for being so cruel. Because in the end it's only Catra who matters to them.

Adding on to that point Adora is nothing but a trophy or accessoire in those peoples eyes. For them Adora cannot possibly exist on her own, as her own person or generally somewhere outside of her relationship with Catra because that's what "defines" her. Catra did the most horrible things but because she did one good thing and "works on being better" (I guess I don't even have to mention that Catra during and after her "redemption" is still a huge d*ck to basically everyone including Adora) she gets the girl. And God forbid you try to draw Adora in a Ship that is not Catradora. Even Glitradora is thin ice. Because "Catra is sad now :(", "Catra should be in place of XY", "That ... is not Catra? Lol C//A Canon you dummie", you get the idea. If you're lucky you escape insults. And sometimes get backhanded compliments: "Ewww, that ship is sooo gross but I guess nice Art". And if you ship Adora with nobody (except for happiness of course) like me? Oh my Gooood, how could I? Catradora has all this "amazing chemistry". (I should add I do support Ships like Glimmadora for what they are though. But generally I'd prefer to see Adora outside of her "romance/shipability" as many do not.)

Also in it's own way adding onto the second point Adora is no longer viewed or treated as the protagonist she is. No, that spot goes (how else could it be) to Catra, the antagonist of 4 Seasons. And unfortunately they are treated like this not only by the fandom but also the staff, including no other than Noelle herself. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power? I only know Catra and Catra and Catra again and how she got away with abusing almost every character in the entire show (especially her "love interest") without consequences because God forbid anything is not about her.

It's beyond saddening seeing almost everything about Adora being made about Shipping her, like she's not her own character with own interests, views and thoughts inside the show (though I gotta admit the fifth Season did throw basically all of that and her entire arc outside the window for the sake of one of the most toxic and abusive ships I've ever laid eyes upon, it being LGBT does not erase any of that).

Adora deserves better than that. She deserves some godamn respect and actual love (especially platonic) and the Anti Catradora Tag will f**king deliever on that! Because these people? They get it.

Also on a side note it is generally disturbing to view that Noelle made almost everyone end up with someone off and on screen. Like I don't need to explain how unrealistic that is. Hi, yes aromantic people exist and not everyone will find love at the same time just because the peace is restored (even if they are not aromantic).
