Jaune: Okay, so from all the information you all have shown me, again thank you all, I think we should discuss some things.

Winter: Indeed. 

Ruby: We need to do something.

Jaune: Okay, first let's discuss the Crown. As Coco told me they were a horrible organization. They target people, especially with valuable semblances. Not to mention they are now partner with Tyrian. A wild card that we may not be able to predict.

Qrow: Yeah he is a slipper guy.

Jaune: We have no idea what their next move will be so we need to be prepared. So I think we send Emerald Sustrai in to infiltrate and spy on them. 

Ruby: What- No!

Jaune: I’m sorry, what's wrong, Ruby?

Nora: Emerald is still a villain, we can't trust her.

Jaune: What? But she helped in the evacuation, I think -

Winter: I agree. Especially considering her past crimes.

Jaune: Fair point but she's the only one who gets in and out while filling us in on what our enemies can do. Plus, if that's the case she can prove herself by helping us. 

Ruby: No Jaune that's too risky.

Winter: I agree.

Qrow: Same.

Raven: Yep.

Jaune: Okay. Next is the Grimm attacks. They are skyrocketing. This may be due to our mistake of bringing too many people to Vacuo. Not to mention Vale citizens. So… I am afraid we need to escort some of them out.

Robyn: What?! Objection!

Obleck: I agree, Mr.Arc. That is cruel.

Jaune: Huh. Cruel? Some of these people want to leave this city and kingdom altogether. Some of the people don't get along with each other as well. Not to mention food and other resources. 

Robyn: We'll find another way to provide. Plus how would get them out?

Jaune: I mean we have ships. We have hunters ready to fight. I mean, yeah, they’ll still have the Grimm to deal with but still. They should spread instead of being cramped up like animals.

Winter: Jaune, these people are our responsibility. We must protect them. Plus if we send hunters around on escort missions our numbers will thin. 

Jaune: I mean we have students who are being trained to fight. Let them go along and shadow the pros. Or stay and help us.

Ren: Jaune that won't help.

Jaune: They will gain experience and probably survive. I think we need to consider our resources.

Ruby: No Jaune. We need a different approach.

Winter: Agreed.

Obleck: Well said, Ms.Rose.

Jaune: Alright. Mm. Okay, so about the tribes. Some of them aren't willing to offer assistance. So, what do we do about them?

Ruby: We try to reason with all of them.

Robyn: Yes!

Jaune: What-?

Obleck: Indeed. We ask for assistance and if they don't provide it-

Raven: We crush them.

Jaune: Shouldn't we be careful though? I mean, we can do that but doesn't that give us more enemies than allies? We can't simply side with anyone and crush those who oppose us. Especially with no research or information on what they could have that we could use.

Raven: This is Vacuo, kid. It's all about dominance.

Jaune: Are you- oh my- okay, okay, breath. Breath. Guys… look. I know this is hard. But… l do need to remind all of you of what's up. First off Tyrian is still on the loose. And he has new allies. Allies who know this kingdom and its people more than we do. Due to the amount of problems many requests for hunters have been skyrocketing.  We have children with no parents. Parents who lost their children. Families whom we can’t feed or provide for. A war could happen at any time and you wish to start one before a greater threat arrives.

Ruby: Jaune we need hunters. We need to tighten security. 

Jaune: No. What we need is resources so we can help people and stop them from killing each other. And even after that, we need to get some of these people out of the kingdom. Do you not know what’s happening with them? Violence. Kidnapping. Rape. Extortion. We are having too many victims. And with more victims, MORE NEGATIVITY.

Oobleck: We understand but we can’t involve the students.

Jaune: My team. Team RWBY. We were first years. We’re still first years. We have been involved in this for months. And remember, these kids are here for the same reason we’re here. To be hunters. And what is needed when being a hunter? Experience. We have missions on the board, too many for us to work with. If we research every or as many teams as we can, we can divide the work among them. And it’s not like they’ll be alone. We have pros who aren’t doing anything. Let them work.

Raven: Then how do we handle the tribes?

Jaune: Not all tribes need to be dealt with. Some we can leave alone. Some might need help. Or we can talk with them. Who knows they may be willing to take some of the citizens off our hands. 

Winter: I understand.

Jaune: I highly doubt that.

Winter: But need our people here.

Jaune: Again some of them don’t want to be here. We might as well be imprisoning them.

Theodore: It seems we are in conclusion. Very well done everyone. Meet achured.

Jaune: We are so f****.

After weeks

Theodore: Oh my god the relic is gone.

Jaune: Probably because we had no guardian it. 

Ruby: Theirs too many Grimm to fight.

Jaune: Maybe because of so many people fighting, stealing and hating each other.

Raven: Too many tribes are against us. They sided with the Crown. 

Jaune: Maybe if we negotiated and made compromises with them we could have turn some of them into allies.

Qrow: Tyrian just killed a Summer maiden. Now Gillian has the maiden powers.

Jaune: If only we had someone to hide among them who could have fed us information so we had a counterattack. Or maybe save our maiden.

Emerald: Merury, please.

Mercury: It’s too late Emerald. Maybe if you found me and tried to help me earlier, I would have teamed up with you.

Jaune: Wow.

Mercury: In fact, I don’t know why they didn’t send you. Probably they didn’t trust you enough. I don’t know why you’re still working with them. Join us.

Jaune: You might be right.

Ruby: Jaune, com on, help us.

Jaune: What’s the point? We already lost.

After the battle

Ruby: A lot of people died.

Theodore: The relic is gone.

Oobleck: Our numbers are thin.

Winter: The people have abandoned us.

Jaune: Really?

Raven: Okay kid, you were-

Jaune: The proof is in the pudding. I know I was right.

Togekiss Facts

-The scientific name for Togekiss is "Mercuria aviarus" which roughly translates to "Lucky avian"

-Scientist theorize that togekiss had ancestors that were from the moon, similar to the cleffa line

-Their fat bodies are actually mostly fluffy feathers. Their skeletons show that they have quite long necks

-Togetic and Togepi often adopt or hang around orphaned togepi to make them happy and protect them

-When showing affection, togekiss often kiss their trainers and rub against their face (hence the name, and this fact is adorable)

-Many Sinnoh legends depict togekiss as being angels or messengers of Arceus

-The crests on togekiss heads secrete a dust that makes people happy, as well as helping to attract mates

-They have small ear whiles that are hidden by their feathers. Evolving to have ears like this keeps the loud wind from hurting their ears when flying through the sky

-You can tell which nest is a togekiss nest by the color of the leaves and the amount of shiny objects it has. They enjoy decorating their nests with objects they find interesting or with just colorful objects. They're e ot greedy though, and are willing to give away some of their objects to other pokemon

Somehow, she was alive. Despite it all, despite the storm, the fights, the mutts, Mercuria was fully, and truly alive. Her breath was shallow, but she was atop the mountain, finally, difficultly, impossibly. She had made it. Through pythons, through Helios, through it all. And she was alive.

It was serene at the top of the mountain. It was a bizarre, alien sensation after the past three days she had lived through. It was a momentary reprieve, a breath. At the top, the mist of the storm could still be seen rolling around the sea, shrouding the various islands in a mysterious fog. The atoll was washed clean away, the wreck of the ship fully swallowed by the waves. It was easy to see all the places she had been, and the few that she had not. What a concept - there were six people left alive and there were parts of the Arena she hadn't even seen yet.

It seemed so peaceful, for a moment, that she was startled to shriek when the Panem National Anthem blared. Had night fallen that fast? That she'd be alone - truly, deeply alone - for the first time in the Arena? She craned her neck up, but it wasn't much. She had never been this close to the sky. In all her life, living in the mines, she had been down. Head down, in the earth. To be here now, on the precipice of the sky, where she could almost touch it... was unreal.

Her breath caught in her throat as Callisto's face illuminated the sky. Instantly, she heaved a sigh of relief. It wasn't at Callisto's expense. But what it meant was, with only two cannons, at least one Berry was alive. Slate's odds had skyrocketed, just by having a District One Tribute out. Not out - dead. That fact stuck the sigh in her throat, even as the second face - Flora Faye of District Seven - appeared. They were still alive. Nettle, Bramble, and Slate. Somewhere in the Arena, all three were still alive. And they would know now, that she, too, was doing her best to stay alive. That left Helios and Mars. Two Careers, both hellbent on getting home. Those two and whatever fresh horrors the Gamemakers had in store.

They were close.

It was time, then, to try to rest. But sleep was never an option. Mercuria found herself a small overhang, lest more rain start falling, and nestled in. She was just letting her eyes flutter shut when she felt it.

The smallest, tiniest pinprick in her wrist. In any other universe, she would have thought nothing of it. Back in Twelve, things bit her all the time. Mites and mosquitoes were everywhere. But this was the Arena. This was the Hunger Games. Mercuria raised her hand and saw it: a spider, no bigger than anything she had seen before, almost small. Bright, electric yellow dots dusted an otherwise jet black body. If it weren't for those dots, she wouldn't have seen it at all in the fading light of the evening.

But she felt it immediately. Like acid coursing through her veins, the toxin shot to her heart faster than she could cry out. She had only a moment to make a decision, and she did: she raised her hand above her hand, showing the spider to the sky. She felt the venom course faster, encouraged by gravity to speed along. But if she were to survive this, she would need help.

It was less than a minute later that the coughing started. Her throat slowly started to squeeze together, even as her salivary glands kicked into overdrive. Drool started pooling in her mouth, spilling out in flecks and puddles onto the ground in front of her. She fell to her knees, and the offending creature scuttled away, seemingly happy to have done it's job.

Convulsions came next, starting as a tremor in the hand that was bit. It ricocheted across her body, leaving her heaving in terror on the ground. She thought maybe, just maybe she could survive this, but then her vision started to fade. Flicker. Bob in and out. How? How had she gotten this close, this far, this place... only to be taken out by a spider? Perhaps that's what they wanted to see, out there. This was the gripping drama. Perhaps the Gamemakers were pushing to a finale and had deemed her uninteresting. Too far out from the others to be useful in the final fight. Perhaps. Perhaps. Perhaps. A thousand perhapses tumbled through her mind as she clawed at the ground, trying to find a way to relieve the intense pain that was building in her chest.

It had to be over soon, she wagered. Unless this was a particularly sick Gamemaker. Maybe that was it. A slow venom to kill. A worthwhile moment of television. If so, no. She would not give it to them. She rolled onto her side, cradling her arm close to herself. Even as the venom forced the occasional, involuntary kick or spasm, she would not show them her face. They would not get to see. This, she would keep private.

Then she heard the familiar ding! ding! that she had been so blessed with throughout her time. A gift. But what could would it do now? Perhaps it was a knife, something to end this suffering faster. It didn't matter. She heard the soft thump as the canister landed beside her. She fought her own muscles to get a hold of it and twist it open. A small boxed meal tumbled out. Useless. How unfortunate - someone had wasted their money sending her a meal that she'd never get to eat. And there was no one around to even pass it along to, if she could have done so.

She went to drop the canister by her side and accept her death when a small vial tumbled out. It was tiny - no more than a few drops of whatever liquid was in it. She grabbed at it. No knife, but fine - a poison may as well be the same. She had no regard. No thoughts. Maybe it was a pain reliever, meant to ease her passage. Maybe it was poison to speed it along. Who cared at this point? She struggled to get the lid off and downed the full contents, just barely squeezing it past her tightening trachea.

Instantly, the effects of the spider bite reversed. It was as if she had swallowed pure aloe; the acidity in her bloodstream evaporated and her throat opened as if she had never had trouble breathing ever in her life. If anything, her lungs were free even of the slight cough all miners had. She glanced down at the bottle to see a very simple word: antivenom. How wonderful, how horrific, that these bottles existed at all, ready at a moment's notice to be sent to Tributes. If the price was right.

She scrambled for the canister and found the note from Mahlon. No - from the entire District. How late had he been up? How closely had he been watching? That he could see the need, identify the cause, and send the relief? It didn't matter. Or rather, it did, but it was unexplainable. She burst into tears, found her way to her knees, and put up her hands in thanks before turning to the meal.

The canary wasn't out of the running yet.

WIP: The New Milky Way

Aboard a cramped yet tolerable clump of spacecraft, the four distinctly foreign travelers search for a decent home. Space was becoming less of an awesome adventure avoiding asteroids and aliens. Most of space was... well, space. Devoid of stars, rocks, or other phenomena that could rock them. The biggest fear was a little rupture that could suffocate them. Yet after a while, they adapted to that fear and headed on, looking for the right galactic signs for life.

Heading the navigation was Skye, the first human born in space, and a master of piloting despite being a teenager. Her most constant challenge was boredom.

"You know, I'm starting to think I Spy gets kinda old when everything is a blip away. Anyone have some fun alien games or songs? I can't be the only one singing ABBA, y'all have to contribute, too."

"On my planet," the black armored yet small Mercuria started, "games were made to prepare us for war and death. Losers received the first tastes of defeat on the battlefield."

"A good start, but," Skye thought of the right words for this aggressive alien. "Do you have anything that won't break our shuttle and send us spiraling into darkness?"

"No."

"Cool, thanks."

"Halt!" Skye jumped back as another figure boomed behind her named Prince Shaushko II. A tall, regal man adorned in gold posed as a statue with a smug face.

"It appears these fair maidens long for entertainment! Such as it is, my qualifications were for mastering not for 'jestering.' Lest we suffer the indignity of drudgery like common pedestrians, I command thee at the starboard point to tantalize us with bardic tales of grandeur!"

He pointed a mighty finger at the red, scaled musician at the far end of the ship. Muscular yet smallish, Laris sluggishly moved his head.

"D'you need something? I was looking back if we missed anything."

"Yeah, do you know any good songs," Skye asked. "We're hitting our snooze buttons fast. How about something nice for travel?"

"I'm not one to turn down a request," he smiled.

He tuned his guitar-like instrument and began strumming a mid tempo song while thumping the side as percussion and whistling an airy tune.

Skye relaxed and moved her shoulders to the rhythm. The prince sat in luxury while Mercuria stood still, almost agitated by the sound, as though it was blocking out dangerous threats.

The youthful pilot saw a cluster of dust from a dead star, billowing with a mountainous cascade of green, yellow, and orange specks longer than the sun. Combined with the music, her awed mind felt the mixture of natural and artificial beauty, the power of progress that has allowed sapient species to hear and see things unknown to animal life.

The journey was long, and Skye had doubt of ever finding home, but to stop now was suicide. Nor was she lonely as her unlikely group gave her company and kept her from going insane in the eternal black void. The search for a celestial body to replicate Earth harkened to her as her wagon pushed on.

story:

It takes place after mercury died and jupiter was victorious, the sun was back to normal, but the sun missed mercury, alot

So ML!mercury is a demon, not just a normal one like a imp or succubus, AN ACTUAL TERRIFING (but attractive ngl) DEMON-

He has the black horns, wings and most importantly, the tail :)

his eyes are now red, with a tint of white

He now haunts the solar system

One day jupiter noticed mercury was being sneaky and pranking everyone and this might sound weird as hell but he managed to connect to another whole system that is also dealing with mercury. He asked them to maybe exterminate mercury or make him gone for good so he wont bother them again. So the other systems planets managed to travel to our solar system, they were dressed like demon hunters lmaoo

So they arrived and searched the asteroid and kuiper belt, getting pluto charon, eris and ceres out safe( who were traumatised )

So then one of the hunters felt uneasy. They literally through up black goop and their eyes were white. While kneeling down and was fucking puking out black goop, this scared everyone. The other hunters eyes went white and kneeled down. Their hands were suddenly covered with blood. They mindlessly picked up asteroids and put them in a circle. They made a symbol to summon a demon with bloody asteroids.

Then the hunter stoped puking the black goop and turned back to normal. Same with the other hunters.

then something came from the symbol on the "ground" a black goopy planet with red eyes with a tint of white. It made everything shake. It was mercury. He said with a spooky and echo-y voice

" WHATS THE MATTER DEMON HUNTER? NEVER SEEN A REAL DEMON BEFORE?! "

it scared everyone. Everyone ran and then Jupiter picked up his sword and pointed it at him with a ">:(" look-

mercury immediately laughed hysterically and the sun shouted

" MERCURY! YOUR NOT LIKE THIS.. YOU NEVER WERE! "

Mercury looked at the sun with the " i dont fucking care" look

He went back in the portal and everything was quiet.

The hunters ran away outa the system and the solar system was shook.

Venus stuttered a bit, and mars just passed out

Saturn was crying while neptune was like " huh-"

Earth passed out with mars

Emerald: he’s facing five mercenaries on his own, he’s for sure dead right now.

Cinder: still, if we bring arc back alive they will trust us more easily, and that can help in our plans.

Mercuria: so we kick some asses and save the blondie, sounds good to me.
