This is Chapter 7 for my Trollhunter Tales of Arcadia The Arcane's sister

Chapter 7 Spellbound

"Man, the rest of this summer's gonna eat farts." Steve said as we walked down a side walk.

"yeah, it's kind of hard to top destroying an alien god." Toby said.

"I think we all did great." I said. It had been a month sense Gunmar was defeated and we all along with some new friends stoped an evil alien god from destroying are planet.

"Wingman did good. Proud." AAARRRGGHH said with a fist bump to Toby.

"But I lost my butt-stomping, ninja-space-angel girlfriend and my creepslaying partner in the same afternoon." Steve winned.

"Yeah, I felt like that after Jim and Claire and everybody left on their quest-." Toby said with a saddend face.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, we're talking about my problems here, buttsnack." Steve said, then he suddenly screams.

"Cat! Yum." AAARRRGGHH said with a small lick to his lips.

"Ooh, hey, little guy! You lost?" Toby said.

"Beware. You, you are in grave danger." Said cat then spoke.

I was unfassed by all of this because i've seen this happen before.

"Whoa! A cat with glasses!" Steve said susprised.

"The cat just talked, and you're focused on its eyewear?" Toby says confused.

"I've seen aliens, creeps, and trolls, Domzalski. So, yeah, I'd like to know why the talking cat's wearing glasses." Steve said in a matter-a-fact way.

"Bad eyesight." The cat said.

"Not cat. Fimiliar." AAARRRGGHH said.

" 'Familiar'?" Then steve chuckles. "No way. I'd remember if I met a cat with glasses." He said.

"No. Wizard assistant." AAARRRGGHH points out.

" 'Assistant'? That's very offensive. I am a wizard associate, thank you very much. Now, come with me, or the worst will come to pass." The cat says.

"It's nice to meet you wizard associate." I say as I bow my head.

"Thank you." The cat then bow's it's head at me in return.

"Hey! Are you threatening me, pussycat?" Steve pointed acussingly.

"No, I'm warning you. Put simply, the world as you know it is about to end. Meow." The cat say's then it jumps down off the bin it was sat on.

"Whoa…" Toby says asstonished.

"Aw, not again!" Steve says then he starts yelling.

"Here we go again…." I say with a sigh.

When they get to where the cat said to go

"Sorry, this is a lot to process! Pets can talk? The world is ending? Again?" Toby said.

"Not the best timing, I know, but we need your help all the same." Douxie said as he walked up to us.

"Douxie?" Toby said confused.

"Wai- hold up! I thought yoou worked at the cafe, or were, like, a model or something." Steve pointed acuessingly.

Douxie then chuckles and pulls his hand infront of us all, then he creates a glowing orb in his hand. There's a lot about me you don't know."

"Whoa!" Toby said amazed.

"What?" Steve said confused.

"I knew something was up with you when I met you." I said with a little smirk to my lip's.

"Come on, then. The answers to all your questions are within." douxie says as he put's the orb of magic in that was in his hand to the door of a store and it unlocks the door.

"Yeah, right. In a bookstore?" Steve scoffed but went in anyway.

"Ah! There's flying books." Toby said as he ducked from getting hit with a flying book I just stoped them with my hand and moved them away.

"Whoa!" Steve said in amazement.

'So the old man runs a book store.' I thought.

"Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! So cool! So cool! So cool! Ooh, what's that?" Toby said amazed. He says as he picks up a small boat looking thing that has a stone in the bottom. I knew what the stone was.

"Put that down! Thank the ether you're here! We haven't a moment to waste." Meriln say from the top of the book store as we all look up.

Toby then laughs.

"Whoa! Crusty, creepy dude!" Steve says.

"Though, I hoped for more, Hisirdoux." Merlin mused.

"I tried. I couldn't find the changelings or the aliens. I'm pretty sure most left the planet." Douxie shrugs.

"Merlin, it's me-- Toby Domzalski! You know, War Hammer, Guardian of Arcadia, Geology Club president." Toby says in a chippy tone.

"No one could forget you, chatty." Merlin said.

"And Steve Palchuk, Creepslayer!" Steve incoured.

"I have no idea who you are." Meriln sassed.'Same attitued.' I thought.

"Well I guess that's accurate I mean he never met you Steve." I said as I looked at him.

Steve just huffed in response.

Steve then yelps as he fall's.

"But we're desperate. Thankfully, we have the brute." Merlin said.

"Yum!" AAARRRGGHH says before he gets hit in the head.

"I'm not anybody's lunch. Got it?" The cat that talks says in a tiked off tone.

"Wait, where's Jimbo and Claire? I thought they were with you."

"Answers forthcomeing. Make preparations. we've a journey ahead. And don't…-" Merlin says but is cut off by someone.

"But, Master--." Douxie asked.

"…'but, Master' me." Merlin said.

"But…are you sure you want to count on these children? They're clearly not ready for this." Douxie pointed out.

Steve then scoffs "Excuse me, college dude, these children? These children fought off a 50-foot extraterrestrial!" He then screams as he falls into a aumor stand.

"Dude, let go of its head!" Toby exclaimed.

"It's got my head, too, man!" Steve shot back.

"Just put it back!" Toby said as he tried to help steve.

'They never change…..' I thought as I looked out the window with a small smile on my face. But then the smile faded into a conserned look as I seen something out of my periferal vision. It looked like a salimmander but it wasin't then I knew what is was and slowly got out my staff that was in my pocket and had it ready to transform into what it really looks like. The others didn't question it because I told them I just knew some thing for some where but didn't elaberat on it.

"Master, I'm ready for this." Douxie pleaded.

"Doubtful." Merlin shot back.

"I've spent years preparing, centuries--." Douxie was then cut off.

"Silence!" Merlin shouted and everyone in the room got quiet.Douxie then sighs.

"I mean, silence, all of you. Can you not hear that?" Merlin incoured as he walks to the window with Douxie behind him and walks to the other side of Merlin."Something wicked this way comes." Merlin said ominesly but I knew what he ment.

As we all looked out the window I tightend the grip on my staff.

Then as we were all looking out something jumpes at the window of the store. Douxie then gasps.

"Shadow mephits? Hisirdoux, did you lead them here?" Merlin questioned.

"No,no! I mean, I don't think so?" Douxie rubs the back of his head then chuckles.

"Yes, we did." The cat says as he jumps on Douxie's shoulder.

"He found us. The barrier won't hold for long. We must make egress! Tobias, take my things!" Merlin said as he gave Toby a box full of things. Toby then screamed as he got it and flew up to top of the book store by Merlins magic.

"All of you, to the roof! Hisirdoux, I said get to safety!" Merlin says as shadow mephits brake the barrier. Most of us are at the top of the bookstore.

Douxie said some things I couldn't quite hear but I didn't care at the moment as I fought off some shadow mephits that were comeing up the side of the bookstore with my staff and shooting beams of purple and gold magic out of it.

Just as Merlin and Douxie came running up to the roof. Toby then grunts and AAARRRGGHH growls and Steve then screams.

"Stand back!" Merlin yells as he throws the small ship and it becomes it's real size.

"Whoa! Ship just got real!" Steve said amazed.

"Everyone on!" Arrrgh grabed us all and set us all on the ship more so with the boys as I was stoping the shadow mephits, as Steve and Toby were grunting and screaming as shadow mephits were snarling,as Arrrgh growls as I get on the ship as me, Douxie and Merlin keep the shadow mephits back away from us.

We all grunt as the ship takes off and as I looked over the edge of the ship and see a knight in green amour. The mystery knight says something I can't make out.

"Look out!" Merlin yelled then grunts as something hits the ship. We then took off on the ship into the air.

"Awesome sauce!" Toby said amazed.

"Whoo!" Toby and Steve said as they put there hands up.

"This is so cool!" Toby said as we flew past a cloud. I then saw a green orb glowing in the air under a castle that I knew what they both where.

"What the heck is that?" Steve questioned.

"Welcome, young squires and lady, to Camelot." Merlin presented.

"Camelot? As in anceint-old-people-times Camelot?" Toby exclaimed.

"Excuse me, I have a question. How is this castle flying right now?" Steve questioned.

"The Heart of Avalon. It's magic keeps Camelot aloft, powered by time itself." Merlin stated.

"Sir Galahad, how look the skies?" Merlin said as he looked up to a tower.

"All quiet, my old friend!" Galahad says.

"Keep your eyes on the horizon." Merlin says back.

Steve then screams as where going pretty fast to the castle.

"I say, coming in a little hot, don't you think?" Archie questioned.

"Rubbish!" Merlin brushed it off.

When we all got in the castle

"Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!" Steve whisled.

"Whoa!" Toby exclaimed.

"Nice." I said.

"It's been 900 years since I was last here. Hasn't changed a bit. Except for the flying part." Douxie exclaimed.

Steve then chuckles." 'Nine hundred years'? Yeah, right. You're like, what? Like, 19?"

"Give or take a few centuries." The cat say's before he jumps off of Douxies shoulder.

"So, how many things can your cat turn into?" Steve questions.

"That depends. How many things are there?" Douxie says.

"Uh, cool, floating castle ship, but what's the grave danger you keep talking about?" Toby questioned.

"Ah, there you are." Merlin says to the people that are coming up to us.

"Claire!" Me and Toby exclaim.

"Toby, Isabella!" Claire says.

"Arghumont!" Blinky exclaim.

"Blinky!" Arrrgh exclaimed as he grabed us all into a bear hug.

"Not so tight." Claire says .

"Oh, sorry." Arrrgh says as he lets us all go.

"Whoa, hey, Steve's here, too! How 'bout-- how 'bout some love for Steve?" Steve questioned from behind us.

"Oh. Hi, steve." Claire says with a hand to her hip.

"What happened to you guys? Wait, where's Jim?" Toby questioned.

"Yea shouldn't he be with you guys." I asked.

Claire then sighs.

They then lead us to a diffrent part of the castle.

"Jim…What happened to him?" Toby inquired as we all ran up to him with me haveing a calm but worryied look to my eyes.

"We were ambushed. Some ancient, dark warrior. An unstoppable knight clad in green……who struck down Master Jim." Blinky says saddend.

"Master, is that the same knight we saw at the bookstore?" Douxie inquired.

"One and the same. That onyx shard is working its way towards his heart. I placed the boy in stasis, stalling its progress… for now." Merlin says.

"If I had my Shadow Staff, I could've saved him." Claire comments saddened.

"Hey it gonna be okay Claire……" I say as I rub her arms.

"Who is this Green Knight? How do I get my hands on him?" Toby says mad.

"I do not know. The Green Knight said but one name, which chilled me to the bone." Merlin says.

"Morgana…"

"Oh, I hate that lady. Wait, I thought we kicked her bewitched butt to the Shadow Realm." Toby says confused.

"Which he appeared not to know, but he bore the emblem of Camelot." Merlin explains.

We then all went on a bridge to another room.

"Come with me, quickly. I fear the answer lies in the past. A dark menace is coming, one even I cannot face alone." Merlin states.

I then sighed. 'Well then I'm gonna have to face them some day I just hope they can see what there doing is wrong…..' I thought as we walked into the next room.

"You are all now soldiers in a war started centuries ago for the world of magic. Once, the realms of Magic and Man clashed in endless bloodshed. King Arthur sought to wipe out magic that ravaged the lands in his war against Gunmar. I brought what few spellcasters I could under my protection to spare them from the sword…" Melin stated.

"Including myself. Oh, and Morgana le Fay." Douxie added.

"She was the finest student I ever taught… until she tried to kill me. Thankfully, in my all-seeing wisdom, I created a secret weapon-- the Trollhunter Amulet. The war came to a standstill and I imprisoned Morgana at the Battle of Killahead Bridge." Merlin added next.

I spaced out in thought as merories flooded my mind that I thought I forgot but I never could. I started feeling emostions I never thought I would feel again when thinking about them. I do care about them but there mind set is flawed.

A loud bang jolts me out of my trance like thoughts and we all fall to the floor.

"What's happening?" Claire asks tho it comes out as a question.

"Have you never been under attack before? To the battlements!" Merlin states as we run to the place the attack started.

'It can't be them…..can it….tho I knew this day would come…..if it is them then there here for her…..I can feel there anger and hatetred from here but if I can just convise them that this is not the right way…..' I thought as anouther wave of emostions flooded my mind at faceing them.

When we all go out side Claire and Blinky gasp at the site before us it was a giant skull with red eyes.

"What the…?" Steve questions.

"Oh, no! I think we have something of a problem." The cat says who I now know as Archie.

"Oh, fuzz buckets." Douxie exclaims.

"No…the Arcane Order…they found us." Merlin says quitely but I could still hear him and it made my heart stop for a minute at the meincion of "Arcane Order" before resumeing to it's origanal pace.

"Everyone get to safety, now!" Merlin says before casting a spell before he drops his staff.

"I've got it!" Archie says then says after he grunts. "I lost it!"

Then I hear goblins snarling at us even tho i'm not close my hearing is better then any humans.

"Man the cannons!" Merlin says but not after he grunts from a blow to the castle.

"We must flee!" Merlin then says.

Douxie the says. "I'm on it!" Then he grunts but gets back up. "I've got it, I've got it, I've got it."

Then Merlin grunt from anouther blow to the castle the Toby, Steve, Claire and me all grunt at the same time.

What does Merlin plan to do now….I know alot of things from life it's self to anything you could think I would know but how do you escape the being's that are after us? And after me and her.....?
